Hi everyone!
Yeah, I'm back again with another chapter and this time, to make up for the lull in chapters, this one is a little longer and has a little bit of everything!
This chapter includes a lemon, rough language and might be a trigger for those who have gone through a recent loss of a loved one. This chapter as a little bit of everything.
I hope you all enjoy this chapter and will leave me a nice review below.
I guess that's it now, so I'll leave you guys to it.
(Continued from the next chapter)
Down in the Ranger Room
"This is just too weird." Ethan said softly as Andros scanned his dino gem. "One minute I'm simply napping in our room and then I wake up with my morpher and gem on my wrist. At first, I didn't think much of it; I was used to waking up with it there, at least during my ranger days. A second later I realized that all the Dino gems should still be locked away in the vault and I don't have any access to it. How it even got all the way to Conner and Kira in Alaska is beyond me."
"I did a scan on them." Ashley said biting her lip at the memory of Kira's sad face when she found out there was no baby. "There was no evidence we could detect that would suggest they'd moved from the ship. The only theory we've come up with is Time travel followed up with a memory wipe."
Andros nodded. "The trouble is that no one has technology that could wipe memories that thoroughly. At least as far as I'm aware of."
"And what of the gems? Tommy asked soberly.
"Three of them, Kira, Conner, and Ethan's are fully re energized. If you were took hook them up to the morphing grid, you'd be solidly ready should there be an attack on earth. If you wanted to, I could do the same for the black and white gems, so you'd have the set."
"But, wait, Dr. O." Ethan said in confusion. "I thought you said that the gems were useless; nothing but fossils now."
"That is what I thought." He replied. "But apparently I was wrong about it. Andros has more knowledge than I do as far as ranger tech goes." He turned to Ethan. "Believe it or not, I don't have some crazy addiction to the spandex. I have a family to care for and I had hoped that I'd be done with all this ranger stuff when I passed the torch to TJ."
'I was never more reluctant to take on the mantle than when the black gem came along. I had a 4 year old daughter and the thought of Mesogog kidnapping Kayla kept me up at night a lot, and more than once I considered sending Kayla to live here at the manor until the battle was over. Jason and Billy and the girls moving to Reefside as extra protection helped ease my mind."
"But in the back of your mind, you always worried." Ethan replied thoughtfully.
"You bet your ass. And if you think I'm bad, consider Kim. She's even worse."
Andros chuckled. "By the gods, after that whole Archerina incident, her notoriety spread through the alliance of evil. When I infiltrated that dinner party, I heard more than one mention of the Pink Death Warrior. I didn't realize till later that they were talking about Kimberly. When I was invited to the wedding, with the other rangers, I met her and then understood immediately how she earned that name.
"Oh come on, I wasn't that bad." Kimberly said as she stood in the door way.
Ashley grinned at her. "Yeah, you were. You straight up killed Archerina and Divatox was terrified of you."
"You sure about that?" Kim asked. "She had no problem with knocking my mate out and tying him up in that cave."
Tommy wrapped her up in his arms. "Beautiful, she was scared shitless. When she tied me up, she was sweating and had the worst body odor. Her arms were shaking the whole time and the moment you showed up to get me, she bolted out as fast as she could. She did NOT want to face you."
"Serves her right for taking what's mine!" Kimberly said with a fierce voice.
Tommy whispered in her hear. "You should know better than to use that tone when we're not alone."
Andros rolled his eyes and Ashley shook her head.
"Guys, for the sake of the Great Power, please stow that till you really are alone." Ashley said in exasperation.
Kimberly laughed at her in amusement. "That's rich coming from you guys. Rocky and Aisha may be the first Earth Rangers to have kids, but judging by your twins being the oldest ranger kids….yeah, you didn't even wait till your colors were retired before you jumped his bones, did ya?"
"Hey, don't judge me! The Astro Ship was big and featured soundproof rooms. Space teens or not, we were unsupervised and hormonal. So, yes. Once we realized our feelings for each other, there wasn't much to hold us back. All we had to do was make a purchase on our last trip to earth and then we were free to mess around all we wanted."
"We got very lucky that she didn't get pregnant until after we won the war." Andros said. "I may be the red ranger, but I was just as much a horny teen as everyone else. We got pregnant almost immediately after. It took Zane and Karone about a year to fall for each other and then another year to conceive."
"What are space weddings like?" Ethan asked.
"We didn't have one." Andros answered, "At least not on KO-35. Our planet was devastated, and the citizens were all dispersed around the galaxy. For a few years, Earth was our home until we could form a plan to restore the colony."
During that time, we took up residence here at the manor and both of us had our wedding here. A very funny minister that had performed the wedding for Tommy and Kimberly did the same for us. It was a very intimate ceremony and we had a nice dinner afterwards.
"Did all of you guys get married here?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah, we did. This place is the perfect venue and cut down on costs. All we had to pay for was food, flowers, dresses. My parents were able to find some of our formal clothes on planet in a storage room at our old house. So, our marriage was a fusion between Terran and Space."
"We had to reuse the formal clothing for the men and Karone found a very pretty dress at discount bridal shop here on earth that only needed a little alteration to be perfect for her." Ashley added, glad to get away from the depressing scene she and Andros had left behind on the ship. "Is that what you guys were planning to do when the time comes?"
Ethan nodded. "Yeah, we wanted to hold the wedding in Halloween Hollow, but being so close to Halloween, it would be a lot of extra work for everyone." At Andros' confused look, he added. "It's a big production for everyone involved. They're open for visitors the two weekends leading up till Halloween and if it doesn't fall on a weekend, then on the day in the middle of the week."
"Which is why, we're going to hold the ceremony here. The minute the fall fest is over, we're going to start preparing for a gothic elegant ceremony…and it will be beautiful." Kim said. "After all these years, we ladies have amassed a collection of wedding items and we keep it in a storage room above the garage. All we need is a month or two to refurbish everything and we'll be ready. It's always fun to put these things together and I can do it better than those stupid idiots in those stuffy flower shops."
"That sounds like a war story to me." Ashley commented. "I'd love to hear how the pink death warrior handled those idiots."
"Maybe that'll be told during the next story time." Kim replied as her voice suddenly faltered. Tommy's head shot up as he felt the sudden change in emotion. "For now, I'm ready to get to bed and I'm sure the baby is hungry by now."
"Sounds good." Tommy said as he took his wife's hand in his. "I'm ready to go back to the nest."
Andros took this as an end to the conversation and followed the others out and shut the lights off as they locked up the vault.
The nest
30 minutes later
Tommy sat on the bed cross legged as he watched Kim feed their son. Here, Kim didn't need to cover up and she sat in the middle of the big full-size bed, topless, nursing their son.
"So, it looks like the story has come back to us." He said softly. "I gotta admit that I liked the break…when the story was focused on the others."
Kim looked up at him, smiling. "Yeah, it was nice, but being the Legendary Ranger comes with it's price."
"Yeah, and so does being the 'Pink Death Warrior.'"
Kim rolled her eyes at that, making Tommy grin at her. "Neither of us sought out notoriety." Kim continued, "But when the forces of evil target you, they need to get their assess kicked."
They were quiet for a moment and then Tommy went for it. "So I felt whatever pang you got back in The Vault. Want to tell me which memory triggered it?"
Kim bit her lip and gave him a reluctant look. Still Tommy pressed on. "I know you're avoiding it…by jumping to the happier parts of the story; the weddings and baby showers."
Kim had learned a long time ago that she couldn't lie to her mate; he'd pick up on it right away. She paused only to switch her son to her other breast and then she looked at him. "I can't relive it Handsome. Dad's death along with that bitch fight with Mom. It was really painful and fucked up….please don't make me…"
Tommy scooted closer to her and cupped her cheek before pressing a kiss to her lips. "No, I feel your pain with no filters, I relive it through you and that's the last thing either of us wants right now. This is our story, we choose what parts to tell."
Kim sighed softly and Tommy felt the sharp pain fade from the both of them as she settled back into the extra fluffy pillows as her son continued to feed. When their son started to drift off, he gently took Mav from his mother's arms and started to burp him.
It didn't take long and soon enough, the infant was sleeping softly in his cradle and Tommy returned to his bed to see his naked wife standing by the bed looking emotional. Once again he felt her emotions and knew that she really needed him.
"Tommy…" She said with an emotional look in her eyes.
He nodded as he stripped off his tank top and approached her. He welcomed her touch as she smoothed her hands over his chest, and looked up into his eyes. Once more, their hearts connected as he leaned down and claimed her lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck. As they shamelessly made out, their shared passion exploded and he lifted her up; seconds later, her legs wrapped around his waist.
Even after all these years, her weight was nothing to him as he held her body against his. As they kissed, he felt himself come to life. Only this beautiful woman in his arms could turn him on so easily. Now, he couldn't wait to bury himself between his mate's legs.
He ended the lip lock as he lowered her onto the mattress. He licked his lips as she scooted towards the pillows and he quickly rid himself of his jeans and boxer briefs. Kim's eyes looked into his the whole time and that subtle clue let him know what she needed. Before they'd had playful romps and times where they took turns being in control and taking what they wanted, but right now, she just needed slow and deep.
That's what he'd give her.
"Tommy?" She asked breathlessly.
"I've got you, Beautiful. Let me take care of you."
He captured her lips again and as they descended into passionate kissing, he rubbed her private area and coaxed her legs apart. As she'd done so many times before, she welcomed him and cried out in pleasure as he slid within her, going as deep as physically possible and then paused, letting her adjust to him.
"Are you with me, Beautiful?"
"Don't stop…more!" She gasped in his ear.
He nuzzled her neck and gently bit the area, marking her as his once again. Kimberly moaned and he licked the area. "Mine."
"Yes, yours. I'm yours."
Tommy kissed her lips again and then began the dance they'd danced before, going slow and making sure his lover felt him every time he pushed himself in; together, they moved smothering those awful memories so many years before.
After all this time, Tommy had mastered his wife's body and knew exactly how to bring his wife over the edge and he did so this night, over and over until all Kimberly could think about was how good her mate felt as he made love to her.
"Kim…Kim…let go, I'm going to cum." He gasped softly in her ear.
That was all it took for her to once again fall over the edge and she felt him explode inside her and together, they rode their shared ecstasy out. Seconds later, Tommy pulled out and then laid beside his wife, completely spent and exhausted.
"Kim, are you ok?" he breathed softly.
He heard nothing except for the sheets rustling as she cuddled close to him and rested her head against his chest.
"Yeah, I'm good. Damn, I needed that."
He chuckled softly and kissed her again. "I think we both did. Tomorrow, when they ask for more of our story, skip to Rocky and Aisha becoming parents. That was way more entertaining."
"Yeah, what a way to find out the good news!'
Tommy chuckled again and watched as his wife quickly changed into a set of pajamas as he slid into his sleep pants. Showers would be needed in the morning, but for now, they slept soundly…well, until their son woke up hungry and needing to be fed again.
A couple hours later, Kim got up hearing her son's cries. She padded softly over to his crib, picked him up and soon sat in the rocking chair. As she nursed her baby boy, the memories resurfaced.
~Flashback~
Angel Grove-1997
The Manor
Tommy had been resting on the couch in the living room, reading a MMA magazine when a knock alerted him to a visitor a the door. He opened it to see the elder officer Kelman standing on their doorstep with a sad look on his face. It didn't take a mind reader to know that he didn't want to be there. Tommy felt the air go out of him as he sensed that their friend wasn't there for a social visit.
"Officer, Kelmen. What brings you to our door?"
"I need to speak with Kimberly. Is she here?"
Tommy was hit once again with sudden sense of foreboding as he let the police officer inside. "Yeah, please come in and have a seat."
Kimberly had been in the kitchen, making some lunch with Aisha when she felt her mate's emotions. She handed her friend the plastic spoon and rushed towards her mate. She stopped cold as she sensed the tension in the room.
"Tommy? What's going on?" She asked in a scared voice.
He refused to say anything, but led her over to the couch and held her hand in his.
"What's this all about?"
The friendly cop rested his elbows on his knees. "Kimberly, I've just come from headquarters. We've just received a call from the police in New York City where your father was staying during a business conference. He was run over by a couple of stupid kids out for a joy ride. He was rushed to the hospital but died on arrival."
"He…He's dead? Kim asked in a trembling voice.
"Yeah. I'm so sorry, Kimberly. I know it won't help things but know that the teens responsible have been apprehended and will most likely be charged with driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter. They won't get away on any technicalities."
Kimberly felt hot tears slide down her cheeks and she was instantly wrapped up in Tommy's arms.
Officer Kelmen gave them a few minutes to process things. When Kimberly looked at him teary eyed. He sighed. "I'm going to give you some time. Since you were his only emergency contact, it'll be up to you to decide when and how you'll need to do things as far as transporting his body and if you want to press charges against those responsible."
Kimberly looked so tiny in her lover's arms. "Thank you…we'll call you when we're ready. Did he have a lawyer that we need to call?"
"Most likey; it was in his file when the incident was called in. If he did have a lawyer, he or she should be in contact with you tomorrow. If you need anything from me, you only need to call me."
Saying this, he pulled out a business card and handed it to Tommy.
"Thanks Officer Kelman"
The moment the officer had left, the rangers that were there came in to comfort her. Aisha called the dojo to relay the news. Jason beat everyone home and the rest of the rangers followed the moment the classes were over for the day. Tommy stayed close to her the whole time and it didn't matter what needed to be done, he never left her side.
That night when they went to bed, he held her as she clung to him and he felt his own heart breaking for her. They didn't come out of the room until the next morning when they got a call from the lawyer. Tommy silently led her to the shower and took care of her, washing her body and her hair; afterwards, he carefully brushed her tresses, and laid out one of her outfit for the day.
When the lawyer showed up, she handled it all as if on autopilot and only Tommy could feel her pain.
Thankfully, Mr. Hart had thought ahead and had made out a death plan. He made sure that his daughter didn't have anything to worry about and that his place in the mausoleum was ready to receive his remains.
The only complication that came up was when her mother showed up for the reading uninvited and then had the nerve to complain about not receiving anything. She said nothing during the reading of the will, but confronted Kimberly in the parking lot.
"The nerve of that man, he couldn't even leave me a dime after all our years together."
Kim held Tommy's hand and she turned around to face her mother. "Why would he? You divorced him and then remarried twice! You don't get another dime from him."
"How dare you talk to me like that, you selfish child!"
Tommy cursed softly as he felt Kimberly's restraint snap. Kimberly frowned and then slapped her mother, hard.
"Selfish? Really Mother? You chose that cheating asshat over me and you talk about selfish? I owe you nothing and neither does dad. Have a nice life, you frigid bitch."
Tommy pulled her away still shaking with anger. When they got back to the manor, Tommy silently took her out the dojo and let her go to town on the rubber dummy they'd set up.
When she'd burned off all her rage, Tommy carried her back to the manor and drew her a bubble bath. When she was more relaxed, and had dressed in her PJ's they'd laid in bed together and Kimberly had slept almost a full day before her grumbling stomach took over.
Rocky had already prepared a full dinner for everyone and they all dined in comfortable silence.
-End Flashback-
Kimberly came up out of the memory with a gasp and saw Tommy watching her with a look of concern.
"I'm okay, Handsome. I promise."
Tommy nodded, but didn't move from his spot as she rocked her baby gently.
"I know I didn't say it at the time, but I was really proud when you stood up to her."
Kimberly grinned. "It felt really good to slap her down. I know it's not rangerly, but I just couldn't help it…emotions and stuff."
"Yeah, I felt it too, but who says it's not rangerly?" Tommy asked sounding amused. "We're the standard that every other ranger team goes by."
Kimberly thought it over a moment and then chuckled. "Not sure that's a good thing."
Tommy grinned. "Maybe we skip over that part too. If ever somebody starts up a ranger academy, I'm sure they'll gloss over the whole Pink Death Warrior thing."
"They probably will." Kim replied off handedly. Maybe it's better that people think of us as brave honorable warriors instead of the crazy pink ranger that destroyed her enemy and then gave the woman who birthed her a smack down."
Tommy laughed out loud at that. "Yeah, can you imagine it?" he paused and took on his teacher's voice. "Rangers have a long history of being the mighty warriors that saved Angel Grove…except for that crazy pink ranger that point blank destroyed her enemy and left her in a smoldering heap of metal."
Kimberly felt his amusement and shook her head. "I almost felt like a hypocrite telling our daughter that fighting is not the answer when she wanted to beat up that little punk that was harassing her at school."
"Let's just add that to the list of stories to never tell our daughter or son."
~Flashback~
Kimberly sat in the garden swing as the sun started to set. Tommy was in the dojo having a practice session with Jason and Rocky.
She sat cross-legged and read over the letter that her father had left for her:
My sweet beautiful daughter,
If you're reading this, then I'm no longer alive. I'm so sorry to leave you without saying goodbye. I'm writing this letter to say to you what I didn't say in person and as a reminder of how much I love you.
You my sweet baby, are the light of my life and the one good thing that came from my marriage to your mother. The moment you were placed in my arms, tiny and crying, I felt my heart absolutely exploding with joy and love.
Your mother didn't know it, but, even then I knew what a selfish woman she was. So I opened up a savings account and have been putting a little extra money into every month. My lawyer, Mr. Sawyer knows about what my final wishes are and about this account. I'm leaving everything to you with the exception of the old Mercedes; that will be left to Mr. Sawyer as a final payment for his years of service to me.
I also want you to know that I wholeheartedly approve of your fiancé and I know he'll take good care of you when I couldn't. I wish you and him every happiness and hope that you'll have many children and live out every dream you have.
Please, my sweet girl. Don't let my death drag you down. Grieve for a little while, but then pick yourself up and move on with your life. Go on a vacation with your husband and have a blast. I never did get to take you to Disney World. I wanted to, but than all the drama went on with your mother and I never got the chance to arrange the trip.
That's a good place to start. In fact, that's what I want you to do with some of the money. There is more than enough in the account to fund a full week there. Don't hold back!
I guess that's all that needs to be said. I'll look after that precious grandson or daughter that waits for you beyond the pearly gates.
I love you, Kimberly
Dad
-End Flashback-
Kimberly put the letter back in the memory box that she'd put together after they returned from the magical theme park. She'd done just what her dad had suggested, and they'd had a blast. She picked up the keepsake photo that they'd paid for at the park in it's paper frame.
They looked so young and happy!
When they'd found out that Kayla was on the way, they'd talked about taking their daughter to the park when she was old enough, but then Evil had reared its ugly head and they'd put the trip off.
Maybe it was time to book the trip. Kayla was old enough to enjoy it and she'd been asking to go to the park ever since she found out that Conner and Kira had gone. It would make a good Christmas present. Maybe they'd go during the next spring break.
When her handsome husband woke up, she'd discuss it with him. But for now, she really needed a shower!
That about wraps it up for now. The next chapter might be a little slow in coming as I'm not quite finished with the move. (It's complicated.) I'll put the next chapter out when I get the chance. Thanks for being so patient!
See you next chapter!
