Hi everyone!

I don't have much to say for this AN. I meant to wait for the next chapter to be finished before posting, but I can sense that everyone is getting antsy for the updates, so I posted this one by itself.

This is part two of the story arch and if all goes well, I'll be able to get the part three written within a week. (if not sooner)

There isn't much of a warning besides the usual sappy stuff you've come to expect, so I'll just let you get to it!

The Manor

Kim sat cross-legged on the bed in their room…well, their temporary room. They were on the second floor which they had all to themselves. Jason had finally had enough of their shenanigans and loud sex.

Everyone else was coupled off and apparently quiet during their play time. They had been too until Jason started teasing them about their activities. The next time they'd played around, they'd been loud on purpose just to irritate him.

Trini had found it amusing, but Jason not so much…

Kim grinned to herself at the memory of his disgruntled look while he all but threw the yellow pages at Tommy and demanded that they get their own space and that he'd bookmarked the section for home builders.

Kim couldn't help but laugh at the look on her mate's face as he gave his trademark evil laugh and gave her a mischievous grin.

Just then, the door to the room opened and Tommy walked in with nothing, but a towel wrapped around his waist and his damp hair hanging down his back.

Kim gave him an appreciative look and didn't take her eyes off him as the towel dropped to the floor.

"Kim, we so don't have time for that." Tommy said as he pulled out a pair of boxer briefs from the drawer. He didn't even turn around as he slipped them on.

She only laughed. "Sorry, handsome. I can't help it. What's a girl to do when you drop towel in front of me?"

Tommy gave her a weird look as he turned to face her. He still didn't smile as he turned to put on the outfit that she'd laid out for him. It was like cold water had been thrown on her and she quieted as she focused on her mate.

Through their bond, she could feel his stress and nervousness.

She watched for another minute as he pulled on his worn-out jeans and slipped on his red tank top. In the next second, she picked up his hairbrush and sat on the bed behind him.

"Beautiful, what are you doing?"

Kim didn't answer him as she began to carefully pull the brush through his long locks. As she did so, she pushed loving and calming energy towards him and smiled as he visibly relaxed.

She didn't say anything as she continued brushing his hair. When his hair was straight and untangled, she reached into his night stand and pulled out an elastic and gathered his hair into a tail. When it was done, she wrapped her arms around him from behind and whispered into his ear.

"Relax Handsome, we're going to have fun tonight."

Tommy was quiet and then turned his head. "I know Kim…I'm just nervous about meeting my dad and his wife…"

"And to see him totally kick ass on national television?"

When Tommy turned on the bed to look at her, she laid down the brush. "What if he doesn't Kim?"

"Oh, I think he will. The apple never falls far from the tree; you are a powerful and talented fighter, and if you got it from him, then I'm pretty sure he's going to kick the ass of that young blood that dares challenge him."

Tommy kissed her for that and then let out a laugh at the mischievous vibes she was pushing through their bond. It was exactly what he needed; as soon as he put on his socks and shoes and grabbed his wallet and keys, they headed out of their room and down the stairs to where their friends waited for them.

Rocky had been standing behind Aisha giving her a back rub. The expectant mother was looking much better tonight and the glow that all expecting mothers seemed to have had returned to her face.

Adam and Billy had already gone to get the cars from the garage and Tommy joined them. On this night of nights, she'd specifically said she'd wanted to take the Stingray out and drive it like it he pulled it around, Kim came down the steps. As he got out of the driver seat and watched his mate descend the front steps, his breath hitched as he finally noticed what his mate was wearing.

She was wearing a pale pink halter top along with a pair of blue jean capris…and dear god, he could see her midriff and the love bite he'd given her the night before! It was on full display just above the button of her pants. Her hair was pulled up in a cute butterfly clip and with her hair out of the way, he could see the other mark he'd left on her…

His eyes slid to the thin choker around her neck and as she held out her hand for the keys, he saw the engagement ring he'd given her sparkling in the light of the house.

Damn, she looked so fucking sexy! And he loved the subtle reminder that she belonged to him!

"Yes, I'm yours, Tommy. Now, get in already!" Kim said with a sly smirk.

Tommy couldn't help the conceited chuckle he let out as he stole a kiss from her lips.

Only the loud honk from Rocky's truck stopped the steamy kiss from going further. "Hey love birds! You're keeping us from leaving!"

Tommy chuckled again and kissed his mate one last time before helping her into the seat and closing the door. The moment he was in the passenger seat, they took off for the League of Warriors arena.

At the Warrior Arena

"Hey, there you are!" David said as they got to the front doors. I've been waiting for you!"

"Yeah, sorry about that. Parking is a beast at these big arenas."

David gave him a sheepish look. "Yeah, I forgot about that. I'm always here so early that I have my pick of the spots." A moment passed and he added. "So, let's get you to the family box seats. Annabeth is waiting for us."

"Our stepmother…"

"Yep, she doesn't take part in the walk out. She prefers to watch from the family room."

"Really?" Kim asked. "I would think that on his final bout, she'd want to walk out with him."

David nodded as they made their way to the elevator. "True, but a few years ago, when she did walk out with him, she caught the eye of a stalker and it could have ended very badly for everyone. Especially for mom.

When the powers that be decided to end the show, and they wanted to bring dad in again, they discussed weather she would be with him for the walk out.

"And she declined." Kim finished.

"Yep. But that just means that she gets to view the fight with you guys and I know she loves the room with how spacious it is."

"And how is Dad," Tommy answered. That HurriCaine guy looked pretty ruthless."

David scoffed. "I'm not worried. Dad is in the zone and he spent the better part of the day sparring and meditating. When I left him, he was doing his stretches and getting ready to kick serious ass. As for HurriCaine, he's hardly a threat, dad has spent years studying everyone who fights in the arena, he knows exactly to weather that tropical storm."

Kim giggled. "Nice pun!"

"He's been waiting a while to use that line." Said a friendly sounding voice from down the hall.

Tommy's eyes shot to the short lady that stood in the hallway.

Annabeth was not whom he was expecting. She was obviously native American, with her long brown hair that was plaited in down her back and her high cheekbones. Her eyes were brown and she wore a black tank top with the show logo screen printed on it over a pair of artfully ripped black jeans with a silver belt buckle. Along with that, she wore heeled boots and Tommy was betting that somewhere in the family room was a leather jacket to complete the look.

"Mom, this is Tommy, my brother and his fiancé Kimberly Hart. They've brought their own crew to watch the fight."

Anna gave them a bright smile and held out her hand in greeting. "Hey kiddos, come on in, we can get better acquainted in the room."

The box room was a nice comfortable size with a small bar area, plush couch, and matching chairs. Towards the back of the room was the seating area that looked out onto the fighting arena. The big screens were easily visible, and the stadium seats were clean and free of stains; Kim was now even more grateful that she hadn't been able to get those other seats, they'd be able to enjoy the view without worrying about disgusting floors and old foods left around.

When they had all gotten inside, she gave them all an appraising look and then walked to the bar area and opened up the boxes of wings. "I've got plenty of chow for everyone. These are mild, medium and hot wings along with all the extras for everyone to enjoy."

She paused and looked at Aisha who gave them a look of disdain. She was never one to judge, so she gave her a closer look and woman's intuition kicked in. "How far along are you?"

Aisha grimaced. "About two months. I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan of spicy foods right now."

"That's okay Mamma Bear," Rocky soothed. "I brought some cash to order you a sandwich and I smuggled in some crackers for you to snack on."

Aisha gave him a grateful smile and kissed him for that. Annabeth raised a brow at the open display of affection but said nothing. She glanced at the others and saw their amused glances, especially on her stepson's face.

When the kiss ended. She looked at Rocky and held up the laminated Menu. "I can show you how to order that sandwich."

"Thank you." Rocky said as he kissed the top of his mate's head and accepted the menu. When he was on the phone with the people in the concessions department, Tommy grinned at his new stepmom. "You'll get used to it. They're like that all the time."

"And you would know." Adam said with a look full of mirth. "There's a reason why Jason kicked you and Kim off the third floor."

Annabeth gave them all an entertained look as she hoisted herself on barstool and crossed her legs. "Do tell!"

"Hey, we're all adults here." Kim said in defense. "I'm not ashamed of what we do in private."

Tommy nodded. "Yeah, we own it, and I kind of like the idea of building that treehouse for us on the premises." He grinned at Kim. "How better to spoil my bride than to build her a space of her own…and we kind of like the idea of living in a tree house."

"Yes, David told me you owned some land and a manor house?"

Kim nodded as she briefly gave the cliff notes version of what happened while glossing over the loss of her baby. Tommy held her close during the story in silent support.

None of this was lost on the stepmom who sat forward and listened intently. She could read between the lines and understand what wasn't being said. She'd had her own time of pain though having an amazing attentive husband had made the process easier.

When Kim mentioned how her father had been instrumental in helping them obtain legal help, a look of pain ghosted across her face and Tommy instinctively held her closer to him.

Annabeth couldn't help but notice how much the young adult looked like a babe lost in the woods. But now was not the time to pry into that. Not when they were supposed to be having some fun.

"So, what's Dad like?" Tommy asked as Kimberly leaned on his shoulder.

"Well, the man you see tonight is not the man he is at home, at least not completely. Sure he has his tough moments like when he has to deal with stupid people… and that happens a lot. But, when it's just him and me and even when his daughter comes to visit, he's a completely different person. He's a skilled handyman and yet he has no problem going to the store to buy my lady stuff and watching a romantic comedy once in a while as long as there's no heart-breaking scenes involving a bad break up."

He put my stalker in the ICU when he caught up to him. But he's the sweetest guy when he visits his sick fans in the hospital. The kids bring out the best in him, when they see him on the streets and ask him for an autograph or a picture, he's patient and talks to them and does whatever it takes to make them laugh."

Kim smiled at the story and could already see how much her mate was like his father.

The talking paused as Rocky opened the door for the concession people to hand him a small red basket with Aisha's sandwich and a bottle of half frozen water.

When the door closed, Kim grinned at Anna. "So, how did you guys meet?"

Anna smiled. "Believe it or not, I've worked for this show since it's second year. I was just a locker room attendant to the women's league around the time that the whole Vixen/Diesel scandal happened. After your birth mom left him, he went into a downward spiral and though he never got a DUI or publicly arrested, he did show up more than once for practice completely wasted." She paused for a moment as she got another soda from the fridge. "I never got along with the producer at the time. He wanted to turn him into a heel temporarily and even in his drunken mood, Diesel refused to dirty up his image.

"During that time, Diesel and I had formed a good friendship and management saw this. They decided to promote me and assign me the job of looking after him and figuring out a way to spin his sudden leave of absence."

"I spent some time in his home in a completely professional capacity, ordering food for him, making easy snacks for him and stuff like that. It took a few days but we finally found out a way to redeem the situation. Helen, who was one of the bosses at the time, and usually plays the spoiled daughter during tapings worked with us on the downlow to concoct a storyline and within the week we were taping a media spot."

"You were probably a little too young to remember this, but around this time, a special edition League of Warriors Calendar came out with some pretty sexy pictures of your father and some of the other male warriors."

Tommy gave her a strange look. "Are you serious?"

Anna nodded. "Yep. I'm very serious about that. It was an even bigger deal, because up till then, your father never bared his chest in public out of respect for your mother. But for that photo shoot, he bared those amazing abs of his and worked that pair of low riding jeans. Just the knowledge that his picture was on there caused a stampede of fans to snatch the calendars off the shelves."

"Anyway that whole thing was written into the show as a way for him to show his penitence for the way he acted and for bringing dishonor to his fans. He took the punishment and they filmed a small story arc of him being rehabilitated and finding himself again…in a way, rebranding himself and when he came back to the show, he was welcomed with open arms and to hordes of screaming fans."

"Anyway, I told you this because you'll most likely see some mentions and of it during the tribute video…some of those pictures were pretty scandalous at the time. In fact, I know that there will be an auction of some of those items. After the fight assuming no one gets seriously hurt, there will be a meet and greet and he'll be signing autographs for the fans with the other warriors."

Tommy nodded. "I hope we'll get to see him after all that."

Anna nodded. "You can bet on it. Once he gets done with the fan stuff, he'll come up here to see us."

Rocky was quiet. "Why not come visit us at the manor, once everything settles down. There is plenty of room and I love any chance to use the grill."

Anna was about to answer when the show began to start. Loud music boomed from the speakers and the lights began to dim.

"Ooh, looks like the shows getting started!" Annabeth said with a grin. "I won't say much more, but feel free to chow down on the wings, and there's all kinds of soda and water in the mini fridge."

The show started a few minutes after that with tributes to all the warriors both old and new and even a special mention to Silver Dragon whom had passed away a year before.

Finally, the screen went black and the loud music boomed once again. It was all metal and loud screaming and completely unintelligible to their ears. As HurriCaine walked down the path that led down to the ring, Images and clips of his past battles and played on the screen. As he neared the matts, the final blow from the finals played and as the hit landed, pyrotechnics went off in a dramatic ending as the brash warrior took the microphone from the announcer.

His words were those of a very confident warrior who thought highly of himself.

"He's stalling." Anna commented. "He's already said all he wanted to before, this helps amp up the crowd and gives a few minutes to the other fighter if necessary. Finally, HurriCaine grinned as if being given a hidden signal and began to finish his speech.

"And now, welcome my most worthy opponent, one who has fought for many, many, many, moons and now comes to the end of his road. Tonight, as he lays at my feet, I shall finally send him on his way to his happy hunting grounds!"

Those words were met with boos and HurriCaine smirked as he enjoyed the moment.

"Such arrogance becomes you!" The voice of Diesel said as the sounds of war music were heard. The spotlight suddenly shown on the small entourage making their way towards the mat from the opposite side of the arena.

Tommy grinned as he sat in his chair when he saw David walking a few steps behind their father with a serious look on his face. His hair was bound in a braid at is back and his beaded choker was on full display.

Tommy's eyes strayed back to his father who walked confidently in his usual arena costume. His own hair was bound behind him in the same fashion as David and he strode bare chested to the mats.

When he made it to where the fighter stood, he turned to David who took his vest from him and waited patiently as he took off his sandals and his track pants. Now he only stood in his shorts and his choker. He strode into the ring with a confident Aire.

"Well, look who decided to come down from his throne to face me."

"Yep, I'm here. I've heard you squalling all the way from my throne like a needy child. No worries, though; I'm here to put you back to bed with a clean nappy and everything."

That earned him some laughs and David looked like he was barely holding it together.

HurriCaine took it all in stride. "Yes, we've all seen that you have that whole dad act down to a science." He paused and looked his opponent over. "In fact, I'm surprised that you haven't gotten the dad body to go with your many, many years of experience."

Diesel laughed. "Hey, I may be older than you, but I still have what it takes to whip your ass." He grinned at the ref and then back at HurriCaine. "You ready to get started?"

HurriCaine laughed darkly. "Let's do this. Tonight, I'll take that throne from you."

Diesel cracked his knuckles for effect. "Come and get it!"

Tommy sat up straighter as his father handed the microphone to the announcer, walked back to his mark and waited with a calm face as the other fighter bounced in place with eagerness.

The ref went over the rules and then both fighters bowed to him and then to each other.

The fight was on!

Everyone watched as the two warriors faced off. Tommy was watching everything with rapt attention. About a minute in to the fight, he started noticing the strategy his dad was using. No matter how much effort HurriCaine put into his moves, they were easily blocked.

It became obvious to him that Diesel was toying with his enemy and slowly wearing him down- bringing him to the point of desperation. When the moment came that HurriCaine tried a desperate move, Diesel showed everyone why he was the ultimate warrior.

When HurriCaine made his move, the more experienced warrior was ready and before anyone could blink, Diesel had him pinned to the mat and no matter how the younger man fought, he was not going anywhere!

Finally, the ref blew the whistle, calling the match. Diesel stood up triumphantly and backed up allowing the other fighter to get to his feet.

When he'd done so, David grinned and held out his gloved hand. They bumped gloves as the announcer took center stage again.

"Well there you have it, everyone. In an epic final battle, our revered Iron Buffalo takes the Hallowed Throne forever!" The crowd went wild as Diesel waved to the crowd.

"So, this was the final bout for the League of Warriors!" The announcer said as he stood in front of the legendary victor. "Do you have any final words for your adoring fans?"

Iron Buffalo grinned at the man.

"I just want to take this time to thank the fans, both mine and those of the other warriors who tune in every week and give us so much support. All the years I've been a part of this show have been the best years for me and I have all of you to thank for it!"

The crowd roared in response to him and he finished.

"I also have words for my worthy opponent."

"And that would be?"

"Words to honor him. He fought well and didn't hold back. I have no ill will against him, and I wish HurriCaine all the best and I know he has awesome potential to better his skill and become a warrior even better than me!"

Seeing that HurriCaine was standing there, he bowed respectfully to the younger fighter and then walked off the stage. When the spotlight was off him, he drew David into his arms and hugged his son tightly.

Tommy sat back with a grin on his face. The fight had been everything he'd hoped for and he'd seen how amazing his father was.

"Tommy?" Kim's voice broke through his thoughts; he looked down to see his sweet mate looking up at him.

"He's amazing Kim…everything I hoped for!"

Kim was grinning as she wrapped her arms around his waist. "I'm so happy for you, Handsome!" She paused as he kissed the crown of her head. When the moment passed, he looked around to see they were alone on the little balcony.

"Is everyone back inside now?"

Kim nodded. "Yeah, they're giving you a moment to process everything. They're discussing a possible get together at the manor. I told them I was okay with it, but you get the final say."

Tommy felt his heart swell with love for her. Kim always thought of him first; made sure he was included in every big decision they made. His heart felt like it would burst with his emotions.

Kim felt it too and she smiled up at him. "I love you even more, Handsome."

"Let's get married, Kim."

Kim gave him an odd look. "But we are…I thought we were waiting for the war to be over before we hold the ceremony."

Tommy shook his head. "I want to make you mine in every possible way. I don't know how else to express to you how much I love you. I want you to have it as fancy or simple as you want. I can't wait to give you my name."

Kim's eyes were shining up at him and a tear was falling from the corner of her eye. His simple words of love were everything to her.

She was nodding. "Ok. Let's do it."

Tommy picked her up and kissed her heatedly. Kim was caught up in the moment and returned the kiss with all the passion she had. When the moment ended. They realized that everything was quieter around them than it had been.

He put her down and looked up to see their friends and his stepmother watching them.

"What just happened?" She asked in curiosity.

"Sorry, we were caught up in the moment. We've decided to go ahead with our wedding…after we have that cook out you guys are discussing."

"Yeah." Kim added as she looked at Tommy. "Are you okay with having your dad over to the manor?"

Tommy sobered up a little bit. "Yeah, I think the manor is a better place to get to know each other. We can have it whenever you guys have time."

Annabeth nodded with a smile. "When you father gets up here, we can discuss it." She looked up at the clock on the wall. "He should be up here in about an hour or so."

When at last the door opened, and David walked through with Diesel behind him, he looked relieved. Tommy was watching as his dad appeared. Almost instantly, Annabeth was wrapped up in his arms and sharing a kiss of her own.

When she was back on her feet, Diesel looked around the room to see Tommy who was watching him.

He smiled at his long-lost child. "Hey Son. I'm so glad you made it tonight."

Sorry for the cliff-hanger. I wanted to save the actual father/son moments for the next chapter. I promise it will be worth it.

Positive reviews are appreciated! See you all next chapter!
