Surprise! You get another chapter! I had been pondering what was next for this story and decided this was the natural next step. I started working on this chapter last night and I ended up in the zone and writing past midnight last night! It's been a long time since that happened.
Today I finished it and decided that you guys deserve another chapter since you guys have been so patient with me. Thank you so much for the support and reviews!
Anyway, this chapter comes with a lemon warning at the end of the chapter. as well as some brief crude language. *wicked grin*
I guess that's about it, so I'll just leave you guys to it!
Read on!
The Manor's storage room
Around 1:30 PM
Kim sat on the floor surrounded by old boxes. They were just small mementos from their life, and really the most important keepsakes. Tommy had asked her before their move to Reef Side if she wanted to take them with her, but Kim simply answered that she'd rather keep them in a safe place. As it turned out, she was right. If her stuff had been in the house when Zeltrax had burned down the lab, she was ninety-nine percent sure that the Pink Death Warrior would have made a reappearance.
This storage room was one that she used mostly for herself, and it housed her most prized possessions. Mainly, her wedding stuff.
But now, with Eric and Kailen living there, she'd decided it was time to clear out half the space to make room for their extra things.
This was the perfect time to go through the boxes too. Kayla was at school; Tommy had the taken a couple of days off work so he could work on the ramp with the others and baby Maverick was down for his nap. He'd just eaten and would sleep for at least an hour, but just to make sure, she had the baby monitor on her hip.
"Hey, what are you doing in here?" Kira asked as she sat down.
Kim smiled up at her. "Just going through some boxes. Eric is just beginning to move his and Kailen's things from the mansion in Reef Side to here, so I figured I'd make some room for him to store stuff."
Kira looked around the room. "Is this place one of those hidden rooms I'm hearing about?"
Kim nodded. "I'm almost sure this was a hiding room for booze during the prohibition era. When we opened this place up, there were a couple wine casks full of aged booze along with a few empty racks that used to hold some more bottles…and then there was the contraption that we figured was a home-made distilling barrel."
"Those we sold online to some collectors and used the money to augment our building fund when it was time to construct the Love Nest."
Kira nodded as she looked around the room. In the back, she spied a white garment bag hanging from an old clothes rack. "What's this?"
Kim turned around on the seating cushion and looked at what Kira was checking out.
"Oh, that's my wedding dress. I kept a few keepsakes from the ceremony in here…the items that meant something to me. My dress, the pillow, our photo album…I'm sure there's a flower or two pressed between the pages."
"Is it okay if I look?"
Kimberly nodded. "Yeah, go for it."
Kira turned back to the garment bag and reverently pulled the zipper down. Inside was a beautiful dress. It was obviously from the late 90's but it was breathe taking. It was a dazzling off-white dress with a white lacy overlay with simple lacy straps on it. The skirts flared out only a little bit and it had a small lacy train behind it.
"Woah."
"You were expecting a ball gown, right?" Kim asked.
Kira chuckled and nodded. "Yeah."
Kim walked over to her and removed the gown from the bag. "As a little girl, I dreamed that I'd be able to wear a princess ball gown when I married my handsome prince…but when time came to get married, I realized that I would have to let that idea go. We'd heard about the possibility of the space war coming back to Earth, so just in case there was to be an attack near us, I wanted a dress that I could fight in and having layers of petticoats and tulle would have made that impossible. When I went dress shopping with Annabeth for my gown, I realized I would need a more practical dress."
"And did the war come to you?" Kira asked as Kim showed her the pretty veil and flowery headband.
"Yeah, but the enemy didn't come from space."
"Oh, that sounds like a war story to me."
Kim sighed and nodded. "I suppose so."
When Kira pulled out the memory book and began to page through it, Kim began to tell the story:
"What I'd envisioned for my ceremony and what we ended up with were on completely different ends of the spectrum. I had my friends and new mother in law to help me, but when trouble came after me, I was ready to beg Tommy to just elope to Las Vegas."
I'd worked hard on planning things out. My dress was perfect and ready to be fitted, the flowers had been ordered and the cake was finalized. The Caterer was the only thing I hadn't figured out yet."
"Then the trouble began?" Kira asked as she seated herself on a nearby chair.
Kim nodded. "Yeah, in the form of dear mother coming back to ruin my wedding."
~Flashback~
"What do you mean you don't you don't have my bouquets ready?" Kim asked in shock. "I thought the order was finalized!"
"It was, Ms. Hart, but your wedding coordinator called us and told us the ceremony had been called off."
Tommy ran in having felt her distress, he stood on the other side of the counter as Kim pressed the button for speaker phone.
"There's been a mistake, I don't have a wedding coordinator. We've been doing this on our own."
"I'm so sorry this happened, if you could come into the shop, we can figure out what needs to be done to fix this situation. We'll do everything we can to make this right."
"We'll be right in. If anyone else calls claiming to be me, call us first. Something fishy is going on."
"Absolutely. You might also call the other vendors and let them know in case someone is messing with your other orders."
"You're damn right I will." Kim said as she hung up the phone.
Tommy kissed the top of her head. "Give me ten minutes to clean up and then we'll go find out what's going on."
~End flashback~
"It started off as something innocent, and we managed to get things set right, but as soon as that was fixed, we found out someone had cancelled the cake order. By the time we found out, the baker had penciled in another client. Out of all the arrangements that had been made, only the bridal dress had been left unscathed."
"The people at the bridal boutique weren't so easily fooled and it was purely some twist of fate that she would show up while Annabeth and I were in for my dress fitting. Hell, I was just slipping out of my dress and into my street clothes when that bitch showed up.
~flashback~
Kimberly had a stormy look on her face as she walked up to the front having just changed into her street clothes.
"Ah, there's my ungrateful baby girl." Carol said in a sickeningly sweet voice. Kimberly could almost see the venom dripping from her fangs.
"What are you doing here? Kim demanded. "I didn't invite you here and I most certainly hoped to never see you again."
"Now, is that anyway to talk to your mother?"
"You stopped being my mother when you threw me out and chose to stick with the man who was abusing me! I've done just fine without you and I'm not about to let you near me again."
Carol looked very pissed as she glared at Annabeth. "Yes, you have certainly replaced me, though I think this poor woman wasn't the best choice for the role."
Annabeth marched up to her and stood tall looking every bit the warrior woman that she was. "She didn't replace you. I'm the mother of the groom and I have no problem being her mother too. Now, I brought my daughter in law here for her fitting and I'm not going to take up these people's time on a drunken old bitch like you. Keep trying to interfere with my daughter's wedding, and I'll bitch slap you into the next county."
The manager of the shop stepped forward into Carol's face. "I'm sorry, but I'll have to ask you to leave now. You have no business here and I don't have time to deal with your drama. If you don't vacate the premises, I'll have no problem calling security to escort you out."
~End flashback~
"She didn't put up a fight as she left, but I was worried that she would try something else. Instantly the fun and pleasure I took from planning my wedding was gone. I worried incessantly about it and it took a toll on everything. Tommy, being my mate, felt everything and I know it was dragging him down too. One night as we were getting ready for bed, he called me out on it."
~Flashback~
Tommy sat on the bed in his sleep pants and tank top. "Beautiful, we need to talk about this. Whatever is going through your mind, it needs to be dealt with."
Kimberly turned to him with tears in her eyes. "I want to cancel the wedding and just elope. I just know that the bitch will show up and ruin everything, I was so excited for the ceremony, the dancing, the wedding cake, but now I just want it to be over with!"
Tommy narrowed his eyes at his bride. "No, that's not what you want. I can't wait to marry you, but I want you to have the wedding you've been dreaming of!"
"What I want is to be able to breathe again!" Kim exploded. "I can't with that bitch haunting me!"
Tears were pouring down her cheek and her breathe was hitched. Her whole body was shaking, and Tommy could feel the spike of dread through their bond.
That shit hurt and he instinctively put a hand on his chest.
Getting up from their bed, he walked over to her and wrapped her up in his arms.
"We're not going to elope, Beautiful." He said in a soft voice. "I know the cake is a bust, but you still have flowers, dress and we have the garden. If I must, I'll hop in the car, go down to Walmart, get the cake mix and make it myself."
Kim looked up at him with a surprised look on her tear stained face. "You'd do that?"
Tommy nodded. "How hard can it be?"
At that Kim broke into a giggle. "Famous last words, Handsome."
Tommy felt a surge of relief as the pain lessened a little bit. "Okay, so we go find someone who knows how to bake. But you get the point. On our wedding day, I'm going to be at the end of the aisle waiting to say my vows and to make you my wife. But that's not going to happen if you give up now."
Kimberly couldn't express how she felt, but Tommy felt it and she rose on her toes and gave him a long kiss. Tommy smiled into it and lifted her in his arms bridal style and settled her on the bed…
~End flashback~
"The next morning, I caught one hell of a tongue lashing from Aisha, Tanya, and Kat for even thinking of calling off the wedding."
~Flashback~
"Oh, hell no!" Aisha said with a pissed off look on her face. "You're not going to let that bitch run you out of town."
Tanya who was just beginning to show, shook her head. "You are the bad ass pink ranger that straight up killed the monster kidnapping your mate, and now you're going to just show your belly to the woman who chose a prick over you?"
Adam and Rocky, Billy stood off to the side, watching it all go down with stoic looks on their faces.
Kat slammed her hands on the table, making Kimberly jump. "We don't run away from bullies, we turn around and kick their asses. That hussy is just one more bully that's starting trouble with us. I don't give a damn if she's your mother or Rita Repulsa in her pointy bikini. We're going to all work together and fix the problem and in a few short days you're walking down that freaking aisle and getting married."
Kim could only nod and Tommy stood beside her offering his mate silent support.
"We all love you, Kim and consider you our sister." Adam said in a soft but determined tone of voice. "I'm not letting that witch stop you from getting married and as soon as Jason and Trini get here, we're going through that binder of yours and making this wedding happen.
He's right, Kim." Rocky said in the voice of a leader. "If I must, I'll make the cake myself and cater the entire event. But you two are going to get married and ride off into the sunset in a stretch limo if it's the last thing that I do."
~End Flashback~
"It turns out that none of them were blowing smoke. They took the binder I'd put together and used it as a guide. Tommy kept me occupied by taking me on little dates to lunch, walks by the lake…a visit to his uncle's cabin. I didn't have to lift a finger till the day of the wedding. Rocky and Aisha found a baking shop that was just starting out and looking for customers. They were only too happy to have clients so soon. The cake was even more extravagant than I imagined, and it was incredibly tasty."
" Adam and Tanya had looked all over for a priest or pastor who could marry us and found a minister who had been a friend of my dad's. He was on board almost immediately and refused to charge us a thing. Zack was our DJ. Despite the interference by my birth mom, the ceremony was beautiful."
"The food was catered by Mr. Ryker. He owned that sports bar that was later given to Rocky. In fact, our wedding was the catalyst of his working relationship with the owner of the old Slider's grill. After the wedding, Rocky sought him out and asked to take lessons on how to cook diner food. That was the first step in his culinary journey and over the years, Rocky has taken cooking classes when they were offered and has worked really hard to learn enough so that he can finally open that restaurant up."
"Everything happens for a reason." Kira commented softly
Kimberly nodded as Kira turned the page and then laughed. "Still can't believe Dr. O had long hair."
Kim nodded with a grin. "Yeah, he did. Tease me if you want, but I loved his long hair. I won't give you the gory details, but with that hair, toned chest and low hanging shorts…he could have graced the cover of any given trashy romance novel on the shelves…and he was all mine."
Kira shook her head. "You were one of those girls, weren't you. You sat alone when he was asleep reading hot romance novels that curled the toes and…"
"And put me in need of a cold shower afterwards?" Kim finished with a raised eyebrow.
Kira nodded wide-eyed.
Kim shook her head with a chuckle. "No, I wouldn't dare get caught at home with one of those books in my backpack. Trini used to read them, and she showed me the cover and relayed the plot points. But once Tommy and I crossed home base, I didn't need them."
"Well, talk about an ego boost." Tommy said breaking into their reverie. Kira turned around to see the man they'd been talking about standing in the doorway. He looked so carefree and happy that for a second, Kira didn't see her former science teacher, but instead a happy young man who was in love with his wife.
"As if you needed the boost." Kim said with a teasing grin. "You are already know handsome you are."
Tommy grinned at her shrugging. "Maybe, but it's nice to hear it once in a while."
Kimberly rolled her eyes at him but said nothing back. "So, what brings you up here?"
Just missing my wife. I still have some time before I need to pick Kayla up from school and thought I 'd come see what you ladies are up to."
"Just telling Kira the story of our wedding and how good our friends were to us."
Tommy smirked and looked at Kira. "Yeah, they were happy to help us finalize the plans and of course Jason had an ulterior motive."
"The whole male ranger tradition."
Tommy nodded. "Jason and the others staged an attack out in the yard. I fought them all off to the best of my ability, before they overwhelmed me by sheer numbers. They wrapped me up in a sheet, put a pillowcase over my head and manhandled me into the back of a truck and hauled me off to the lake where we had our bachelor party."
"And that's how the tradition started?" Kira asked with a look of amusement.
Tommy nodded. "Yep, and I've been getting my revenge ever since then, especially when it was Jason's turn. We used duct tape on him, and I accidentally dropped him on purpose when it was time to haul him off to the dojo for his party. Revenge was sweet."
"And this is your plan for Ethan?" Kira asked with concern.
"Nah, he didn't do anything to me. We'll continue the tradition, but we'll go easy on him like we did for Conner."
Kira nodded. "So glad I'm a woman."
Kim chuckled. "Yeah, we're a lot more classier than our cavemen husbands."
Tommy gave his mate a dangerous grin as Maverick's cries were heard through the monitor. Kim ignored the look as she started to get up. "And there's my cue."
"Let me help you up Beautiful." Tommy said as Kira got up and strode out of the room. She had learned the tells of both mentors; she didn't want to be around them right now.
She was right.
Tommy helped his wife up to her feet and then held her against him. He leaned into her ear and whispered. "You know, Beautiful, you didn't seem to mind my caveman ways that first night in Cancun…how many times did I make you cum in that first hour alone?" 5…6?"
Kim groaned at the memory. "Yes, you were very good." She paused and then reached between them cupping him through his pants. "You were amazing, my lord falcon. But don't forget that without me, you only have your hands to get you off. Did I not fulfill your biggest fantasy right afterward? I had you trapped against the bedframe gasping my name and gripping the covers."
Tommy groaned even louder as Kimberly looked at him licking her lips. "We don't have time for this, beautiful. Damn I want your mouth on me again…"
"Well, my dear husband. You should have thought about that before you bring up such steamy memories when you don't have time to follow through."
Tommy sighed and shook his head. "You're right. I'm sorry."
Kim kissed his lips softly. "All's forgiven, but you better go pick up our girl. I have to go tend to our son."
Tommy kissed her back. "I so need to steal you away to Cancun again. Even for just a weekend."
"I'll work on it, but you better get going."
Tommy gave her a pouting look as he turned and walked out the door.
Kim shook her head as she stood in the room by herself. As she put the book away, she let her mind wander back through the years, way before the Dino Thunder rangers, before Kayla was born, when it was just the two of them holding back their lust as they walked through the plane terminal towards the shuttle that would transport them to their resort.
~Flashback~
Cancun
Tommy tipped the busboy that had carried their luggage to their room and then locked the door. He was done with planes, men ogling his mate…he was done being nice to rude women that didn't care that they were on their honeymoon…one of them had even copped a feel as he walked by.
He was just done and all he wanted to do was be buried between Kim's legs. He really needed her.
"I know, Tommy. I can feel it." Kim said as she felt his frustration.
"Kim, I don't want to be rough with you, but I don't know if I can hold back." This was the most honest thing he'd said all day.
Kimberly nodded and stripped down in front of him. He licked his lips as she walked toward him in nothing but her skin.
Tommy stared at her and groaned as she went for his belt. By now, she was an expert at loosening it and when his pants fell to the floor.
Kim saw his hooded eyes and knew he wouldn't last long. It took everything in her to not punch those rude women who brushed passed him and made him feel uncomfortable.
She slowly peeled off his t-shirt and the tank top underneath. His chest heaved with his need. When she slowly pulled off his boxershorts, his need was so obvious.
Kim gripped it in her hands and gently massaged him. "Kim, this isn't how I want to cum. I need to…" he trailed off wanting to say the naughty word, but it didn't seem right in what was supposed to be a romantic moment.
Kim smiled up at him and then took him by the hand and led him to their bed. He watched as she pulled down the covers and then laid down making herself comfortable. She looked straight up at him as she ran her own hands over her body and then spread her legs wide before she dipped her fingers into her pussy.
"Ugh, I'm so wet, Tommy. I need you to claim me. Don't hold back."
Tommy growled softly as he stalked towards the bed. He kissed her hotly before he sheathed himself inside her depths.
"Yes…" he hissed as he pumped himself in and out, giving her a chance to get used to him.
Kim mewled softly as he pushed inside her as far as he could. "I needed this too. You're mine, Tommy! No one else gets to touch you except me!"
"Always." Tommy groaned. "You're mine! Only mine!
When Kim wrapped her legs around him, he lost his control. "Yes, this…I've wanted to take you like this all day! I need to fuck you!"
Kim gave him full control and let him take her as hard as he wanted. She knew she'd be a little sore by the time the night was over, but it would be well worth it. She held on to him tightly as took her, going in deep and then pulling out slowly.
She couldn't have held her moans in for long as he worked her body over and then she felt the tingling spread through her lower body signaling that she was about to fall over the edge. She cried out as he went faster, pumping in an out, giving her everything he could. She began to thrust her hips up, meeting his own, and squeezed his arms as she felt her own orgasm overtake her.
Tommy felt it too as he held her down and gently bit her neck. It was an instinct and it heightened her response as her inner walls convulsed around him, drawing everything out of him. In seconds, he was there too, and he came harder inside her than he'd expected to. When he lifted his head, he looked down at her flushed expression.
"I'm so not done with you, Mrs. Oliver; This is going to be a long night."
She looked up at him with a sultry grin. "Bring it on."
So, are you all still with me? I loved writing this chapter and I hope you all enjoyed it as well!
What did you think of the wedding fiasco? This is the last time I plan to include Kim's mom in the story. I felt this was a solid end to her part of their story. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll be covering the events of 'Countdown to Destruction as it really wasn't that significant to their story. So I'll most likely skip ahead to their time in Reef Side. I hope everyone is okay with that.
I guess that's it for the AN: I love reading your reviews and they really brighten up my day!
See you all next chapter!
