Intro: Sorry to inform all readers. Since I am horrible at describing characters, I will be leaving where each character, planet, location, and vehicle belong in the show's continuity so you may get an actual good description of them. This chapter is a recreation of the episode, "The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck!" So those who watched the episode know what will happen. Also this takes place in an alternate reality where the episode, "Let's Get Dangerous!" Happened earlier but Bradford worked with F.O.W.L. didn't happen. Good luck with that. Enjoy the show.

Chp 3: The Trial
The sun was rising in Duckburg as everyone was starting to get up from bed. Unknown to everyone something was about to happen that would change everything and soon mark the first day of a dark new chapter in Duckburg and all of its citizens.
McDuck Manor
Everyone was in the kitchen enjoying their breakfast and getting ready for the day. Unaware of what is about to happen. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. Scrooge, having finished his breakfast, got up from his seat and went over to see who was at the front door. He gets to the door, opens it, and he sees a dog in a bailiff uniform. Scrooge spots a few cops behind the dog with one of them being Officer M'Ma Crackshell-Cabrera who despite trying to hide it is really worried.
"Scrooge McDuck?" Asked the dog.
"Yes?" Responds Scrooge.
"Uh, you have been summoned." Said the dog.
The rest of Scrooge's family came in and saw the dog and the cops.
"Don't you mean "served"?" asked Scrooge.
"No." Said the dog.
Scrooge and his family got enveloped in yellow vortex's and disappeared. The dog turns around to the cops.
"Let's go." Said the dog.
The cops and the dog got into their cruisers and drove off.
The family reappeared in a strange looking Courtroom with a giant Lady Justice carrying a giant beam balance (the Karmic Court from the episode mentioned earlier). The doors to the Courtroom are opened and people are flooding in and taking their seats. The last to enter the room were The cops and the dog. As the cops takes their seats, the dog keeps moving forward until he is in front of the statue. He turns around and transforms into the Bailiff (DuckTales 2017). Scrooge gasps as he realizes where he is.
"Scrooge McDuck, you have been
summoned to the all-powerful Karmic Court, where the good and the bad
deeds of one's life are weighed by the
cosmic scales of justice!" Said the Bailiff.
"Preposterous! I demand to know who is
bringing forth these charges!" Demands Scrooge McDuck.
A door appears to their left and opens as a cop rolls in a figure restrained in a straight jacket and a mask on a wheelchair.
"No, no. Not him. No, anything but that. Send me back to be Gribble chow, please!" Plead a panicked Louie.
As the wheelchair stopped in front of both Scrooge and Louie, the Bailiff walked towards the figure and removed his mask revealing the figure to be Doofus Drake.
"Doofus Drake for the prosecution." Saids Doofus.
"If he's the prosecutor, why is he restrained?" Asks a confused Scrooge McDuck.
"He said he thought it would be fun." Answered the Bailiff. Doofus giggles for some reason.
The cop help remove the straight jacket off of Doofus and wheeled him over to the table on the right. Doofus got off of the wheelchair, took his seat and started applying lip balm to his beak.
"All rise. The Karmic Court
is now in session, the honorable Lady Justice presiding." Announced the Bailiff who also gestured to the statue who nodded.
"We are all here to see the karmic
case of The People vs. Scrooge McDuck for his alleged crimes committed
against the plaintiffs as well as a representative of the citizens of Duckburg. Mr. Drake is seeking payment
in the form of his fortune,..." announces the Bailiff.
Scrooge gasps at this.
"...all landholdings,..." continues the Bailiff.
Scrooge gasps louder.
"...and his treasures as well as the deed to Duckburg."
Scrooge does a wheezing gasp and quickly faints.
"He's going after the money and the town?! What kind of sick game is this?" Shouts a panicked and scared Louie.
"Oh, Llewellyn, so droll. You destroyed my inheritance by forcing me to... [shudders] Share it with my family. So I found victims whose lives were similarly ruined by your wicked Gramuncpeepa Scrooge. We pulled together our financial and supernatural resources to acquire a magical summons so that you might face sweet, sweet revenge!" explains Doofus.
The Bailiff growls at Doofus as he mentioned the word revenge.
" Uh, "justice". Sorry, "justice"." said a nervous Doofus as he chuckles nervously.
The Bailiff huffs at this.
"You ruined my inheritance, so I'm taking yours." Said Doofus as he walks back to his seat.
At that time Scrooge gets up and heard everything and boy is he mad.
"What in blazes are you babbling about?! I never wronged anyone who didn't wrong me first. I made my money square. It's my whole thing." Explained a irritated Scrooge as he gets up from his seat.
"Sir, take a seat." Said the Bailiff to Scrooge.
"I've had enough of this cockamamie kangaroo court." Said Scrooge.
"Oh, let the record show that I am not allowed within 500 feet of a kangaroo." Said Doofus.
The Bailiff summons a gavel and block. He bangs the gavel and this grabs everyone's attention. Just as he made them appear he made them disappear.
"Don't show anger. It's playing right
into his horrible game. We're dealing with
a very sick mind here." Said Louie to his uncle.
The two turn to Doofus to find him applying more lip balm on to his beak and then apply it to his face as he seems to enjoy it. They turn to face each other. It was at that moment Louie had an idea.
"Wait, let me defend you. I've conned my way out of worse." Said Louie.
"You can hardly take responsibility for yourself. I'm not gonna let you take
responsibility for me. Plus, I've done nothing wrong!" Said Scrooge to Louie and then yelled to the Bailiff.
"Your Honor, I call my first witness." Said Doofus.
The same doors that Doofus came through reappeared. This time a figure burst through the doors; it was none other than... Hold for dramatic applause.
"Flintheart Glomgold!" Yelled out Flintheart Glomgold who then laughs evilly as lightning flashes.
Scrooge of course groans as this as Flintheart takes to the stand as he continues to laugh evilly. Scrooge would growl at him again. The Trial begins.
Sadly to those who came to see the trial I am afraid we shall skip it straight to the original cases. So sorry if we upset you. Enjoy the rest of the story.
We return to the scene where Magica ends speaking her tale.
"All he had to do was stop a bird from flying
out of a window." Said Doofus.
"You gave that treasure back to the townspeople, right?" Asked a worried Louie.
"Eh, most of them were goats at that point. But I did spend some of the money to buy them a farm." Said Scrooge.
"And?" Asked a hopeful Louie
"And then I used the farm to sell their milk." Guiltily said a regretful Scrooge who then sighed.
"Uncle Scrooge..." Said Louie.
"And that is just one of many misdeeds. For you see my final final witness will show you all on how horrible Scrooge McDuck truly is. My final final witness..." Said Doofus.
The doors open's and Mayor McGlosin comes into the room and walks up to the stand. The people and Scrooge's family are shocked to see that of all the people to go against Scrooge it was the mayor of Duckburg.
"I am just going to be straightforward with this, ever since the Moonvasion happened things have not been going well in our fair town of Duckburg. Last night I found out that the McDucks have purposely allowed the Moonvasion to happen and that they were responsible for the nighttime vandalism thanks to evidence that was provided and presented by Doofus Drake." Said the Mayor.
"What are you talking about? No one in our family would ever vandalize anything." Said Huey.
"I am afraid that is where you're wrong. Bailiff if you please?" Said the Mayor.
The Bailiff nods and makes a large projector screen and projector appear. The lights are dimmed down and the projector starts playing a video.
"McDucks, uuh, well, due to your reprehensible behavior last night,..." Said the Mayor.
The first video shows Dewey kicking over a trash can and Webby spray painting her name on the wall of a police station.
"...which I can barely believe is even possible..." continues the Mayor.
The second video shows Scrooge and Louie stealing cash out of a truck and Huey stealing book from a bookmobile with Webby.
"...from people of your calibers,..." continues the Mayor.
The third video shows the McDucks throwing money out the window of a car, then to all of them eating cereal at their family's table but that is Doofus's home and Doofus's table.
"...who has learned nothing but the best in their fields I, uhh, uh, actually, I don't know what's particularly bad about this clip here, but, I was left with no choice but to go against your family and do what is best for Duckburg." Said the Mayor.
The video ends and the lights return to normal with the screen and projector disappearing. Louie turned to Scrooge.
"I know for an instance we are innocent because no one in our family would ever do that, but with possibly well forged evidence like this and with Magica's cause well I never thought I'd say this, but... I don't know if I can talk our way out of this one. Or if we even should at this point." Said Louie.
"I assumed that if you live as long as I have, you make a lot of sworn enemies, but when you rack up enough of them, you do have to wonder if you might be part of the problem." Said a regretful Scrooge.
Louie looks over to Doofus from across the room seeing him stand next to the Bailiff. Louie gets up and walks over to Doofus.
"Doofus, I don't want to start an endless rivalry like Scrooge did. Life is too short. And while you may be a freaky, weird, entitled monster kid, I'm still sorry for any pain that I caused you." Said Louie hoping to reach out to Doofus.
Doofus walks over to Louie and stands in front of him.
"No thank you, Llewellyn." Said Doofus as his voice suddenly changed.
"What?" Said a confused Louie.
"You and your family have something I want and I will do everything in our power to tear your family down and take what is ours even if I must feed on your flesh." Said Doofus as his eyes turned into empty lifeless pores, his teeth got sharper, and it sounded as if he was speaking with two voices.
A scared Louie plays in horror while Scrooge sees this and is shocked to see what is happening to Doofus. Doofus quickly changes back to normal before anyone else sees this.
"My apologies, I am suffering from my allergies." Said Doofus.
Scrooge gets up and takes off his hat and looks up to Lady Justice.
"Your Honor I am sorry for what I have done but I beg of you my family and I are innocent though I am guilty of what happened to Magica's brother and to what I have done to the village my family are not guilty of vandalizing this town nor allowing an invasion to happen." Said a humble Scrooge.
"Do you have any evidence of your claims?" Asked the Bailiff.
"Sadly not at the moment, but the Moonvasion you can ask the Moonlanders they will vouch for me and the family." Answered Scrooge.
"I will... What is that?" Said the Bailiff as he turns his attention to the statue as if in a silent conversation with.
After a few moments a decision was made.
"Very well. In light of events, it has been decided that until proper evidence has been shown this trial shall be put on hold and until then Scrooge McDuck and his family have been temporarily proven 2/5 innocent and 3/5 guilty." Announced the Bailiff.
"What?!" Said everyone.
"And by the official decree of the Karmic Court, Scrooge McDuck is hereby responsible for creating his enemies. Flintheart Glomgold, Ma Beagle, and Magica De Spell are respectively entitled to 2/3rd Scrooge's fortune. The deed to Duckburg, and until proven truly guilt... Am I reading this correctly? The accursed Number One Dime?" Announced the Bailiff.
"So that means until we provide our evidence that could prove our innocence this trial is put on hold and we only lose two-thirds of the family belongings?" Asked Huey.
"Indeed. McDuck family you have one year and six months to provide the evidence or her honor and I will have no choice but to find you and your family guilty and hand that dime over to Magica. This trial is over for now." Announced the Bailiff.
The Courtroom turns back into a normal Courtroom and both the Bailiff and the statue disappear. Leaving behind a piece of paper for Scrooge. He picks it up and sees a magical counter on it with a message saying, "A replacement slip will be provided in case something happens to this slip."
"Uh oh." Said a worried Scrooge.
Later in the day; Scrooge and his family pack up and put their stuff in a moving van while Doofus comes out holding the deed to the town and getting into a limo his family owns.
"Thank you for the manor, deed, and fortune. Can't wait for that dime Magica wants." Said Doofus as the limo starts to drive away.
Scrooge begins to pack with the help of Duckworth.
"Thank you so much Duckworth for your help." Said Scrooge.
"You are welcome sir, I am your most faithful and loyal butler and as such in life or death or riches or poverty I shall remain by your side sir. I am terribly sorry for what has happened to your family." Duckworth said.
"Don't worry old friend, me and my family will recover from this somehow. I am just worried about where we are going to live." Said Scrooge.
Huey just finished a call he got and ran to his family.
"Guys I think I got a solution." Said Huey.
"What is it lad?" Asked Scrooge.
"Fenton and his family called and they give their apologies for what has happened to us. Also Fenton told us Drake called him after seeing the news." Said Huey.
"Drake?" Asks Dewey.
"Who?" Asks a confused Scrooge.
Everyone gives him a deadpan look as he just shrugs his shoulders as he doesn't understand why they are giving him that look.
"Well anyway Fenton told me what Drake told him that we can stay at his headquarters in St. Canard and he said we can continue adventuring until we can get this problem sorted out." Said Huey.
"Good to know we still have people looking out for us." Said a thankful Scrooge.
"Uh hello?" Said a voice.
The group turns around to see Boyd by himself.
"Boyd, what are you doing here by yourself?" Asked Louie.
"My parents want me to come with all of you saying that it isn't safe at home since Doofus started acting weird so they stayed home and sent me here." Answered Boyd.
"Sorry about that dude." Said Dewey.
"It is OK, I just hope my family is okay." Said Boyd.
"Uncle before we go, can we make a last stop?" Asked Louie.
"Well since we'll be leaving here and we won't be here for sometime so where to lad?" Asked Scrooge.
Right before leaving Duckburg the family made a stop at the Saberwing household.
"Scrooge lost the deed"? Lena asked.
"And you guys are moving". Violet asked.
"Afraid so". Webby answered.
"No more adventure, no more solving mysteries, or rewriting history". Violet said, sounding more and more disappointed.
Louie had pulled Lena aside where they could talk privately, no one else still knew about their relationship.
"How are you holding up a green bean"?
"I'm shaking , I can't believe this is happening, what's worse we won't be able to see each other often. I don't want a long distance relationship with you". Louie and Lena began to hold each other's hand's in sadness.
"Hey come on green I know this family has been through thick and thin and you'll be able to get through this, besides your sharper than the sharpies if anyone can see the angle's in this situation it's you". Len then gives Louie a reassuring peck on the head making him smile.
They walk back over towards Webby and Violet before they are being called over by the family.
"I promise to call you guy's when we get there, and i'll call each night," Webby said in tear's.
"We can still be sisters no matter if we're far apart so don't all pessimistic on us, ok pink". Lena said, equally crying.
After their heartfelt goodbyes the duck family began to head out of duck burg.
As the McDucks leave Duckburg in their moving truck on top of the tallest building in Duckburg, Doofus watches the family leave.
"I must admit I had a little doubt but this, this is sweet. Thank you friend." Said Doofus.
Silver ooze exits his chest, this time creature's head comes out and goes to eye level.
"You are welcome. You are proving to be a great host. You will be seen as a hero in the eyes of my people. I have kept my end, now it is time for you to keep yours." Said the head.
"In due time, but I promise once we find them I will help you with that important mission of yours but first I think a little redecorating and preparation is in order don't you agree Riot my dear friend?" Said Doofus.
Riot smiles.
"Agreed." Said Riot.
The two laugh maniacally as the sun starts to set. This is the first day of a new age. The age of the symbiotes.
Oh no, things don't look good for the mcduck family at all; they lost their home, Doofus and Riot are up to no good and Louie and Lena are in a long distance relationship. What will they do? What is Riot planning to find out next time?
