Chapter 8: Decontaminated Eds

Marina: "Hi everyone. Unfortunately, one of the news announcers, Pearl, is knocked out. But my sweet little girl, Molly, will be taking her place today! Yaaaay!"

Molly: "There is an emergency! We will switch over to the Squid Sisters for them to announce!"

Marie: "Well, Callie is in bed right now, but we have my grandfather, Craig Cuttlefish to explain the news."

Cuttlefish: "The evil telephone from the Metro is back! It appears on television sets, and then Inklings and Octolings become sanitized zombies! Whatever you do, don't get sanitized!"

Marie: "Also, CQ Cumber, the conductor of Inkopolis Metro, says that anyone who is not sanitized or has recovered has to seek shelter in the Deepsea Metro! And to the Agents, report immediately to the Metro to discuss with me and gramps about what to do!"

Cuttlefish: "This is an emergency! Take these precautions seriously!"

News switches back to Off the Hook.

Molly: "Well, looks like I have an important meeting."

Marina: "And I have to get my wife, Pearl, to safety! Anyway..." Molly and Marina: "Don't get cooked... Stay Off the Hook!"

News ends

Sea Peach, Cul Du Sac, Jonny's House

Jonny: "Wow Plank, looks like we will have to face those sanitized zombies! Huh, buddy?!" Plank tells Jonny that it is extremely dangerous, and that he needs to hide in the Metro. Jonny: "Alright, I'll meet with the Splatoon." Jonny and Plank take a bus from the Cul Du Sac to Inkopolis Square and go into the Deepsea Metro.

Sea Peach, The Creek

The Kankers are fighting for the Squid Clip-Ons. May is wearing the Clip-Ons and is knocked over by Marie Kanker. Marie Kanker then pulls the Clip-Ons off May's ears. Marie Kanker: "Hey May, can I borrow your earrings?! My cutiepie's gonna love them!" Before Marie Kanker could put them onto her ears, Lee grabs Marie by the nostrils, takes the earrings, and throws her like a bowling ball into May. Lee Kanker: "Nah ah! I need them for my man!" The three sisters fight for the earrings.

Then suddenly, a partially sanitized Ed appears. Ed: "I bid to help cleanse, ladies!" Lee Kanker: "Look girls, big Ed came to visit!" Marie Kanker: "What a koinkydink, I was just thinking about you!" May Kanker: "Hey, that's my man!"

Edd and Eddy, who are partially sanitized as well, are hiding behind the bushes. Eddy: "I hope he will repaint those Kankers, or Ed's a goner!" Edd: "Have faith in the process of sanitation, Eddy!" Lee Kanker: "I say we splat him before we kiss him! Ready?!" Ed: "May! Here is some gel to help you look pretty today!" Ed then rubs sanitized goop into May's hair. May then backs away from Ed and combs the goop out of her hair. May Kanker: "Gee Ed, you're making me nervous today!"

Lee Kanker: "He's so good looking!" Marie Kanker: "In a weird kind of way!" Ed then extends his arms in the air, giving Marie a seizure. Ed: "Let's Mambo!" Ed then mambos with the Kankers, and lets go of them. Ed then dances like a goof in front of the Kankers. Lee shoves Ed over, and the Kankers scream and run back to their trailer.

Eddy: "Well, that was close. Can we sanitize the other kids for Commander Tartar?" Edd: "We're not done yet Eddy! We need to strike the iron where it's hot! Let's sanitize those Kankers!"

Sea Peach, Park n' Splat, Kankers' Trailer

The Kankers lock the door to their trailer. Lee Kanker: "Mom and the news were right. The sanitized Inklings and Octolings are taking over the world." Then a partially sanitized Edd appears. Edd: "Hello, my dowdy darlings! I'm here to offer this hand sanitizer as a way of expressing my romantic feelings!" Edd then offers them the sanitized goop. The Kankers scream and run into the closet. Ed is in there too. Ed: "It's dark, huhuhuh!" The Kankers scream and run out of the closet. They then sit on the couch with Edd at the end. Edd: "Care for a relaxing massage?" The Kankers scream and hide behind their dining room table. Edd to Eddy: "Okay Eddy, now it's your turn. Remember, no mercy!"

Edd then gives Eddy the sanitized goop and shoves him to the table. Eddy: "Hey... so... yeah..." Nervous, Eddy sweats sanitized ink, and it drips. Lee, Marie and May notice this, and then they smile. Lee immediately pulls out her roller and splats the goop off Eddy's ear. Eddy then is knocked unconscious, and his sanitized turquoise tentacles return to natural blue. Edd: "Did you get them, Eddy?!" Then Marie fires ink at the goop on Edd's ear. The goop disintegrates, Edd's hat changes from sanitized turquoise to natural black, and he is unconscious. Ed: "I'm here guys!" May then fires rounds from her Octoshot at the goop on Ed's ear. The goop disintegrates, Ed's tentacles return from sanitized turquoise to natural ginger orange.

Marie then checks the Eds' pulse. Marie Kanker: "They're still breathing!" Lee Kanker: "Good, let's get them to the Metro before any more of those sanitized freaks appear." The Kankers then pick up the Eds' unconscious bodies, and head over to the Deepsea Metro.

Sea Peach, Cul Du Sac, Rolf's House

Rolf's farm animals are huddled in a corner as a partially sanitized Kevin approaches Nazz and Rolf. Kevin: "C'mon man, this stuff is good for you!" Kevin offers a handful of sanitized goops to Rolf and Nazz. Grossed out, Nazz faints from the sight and smell, but Rolf stands strong with his Sploosh-o-Matic 7 in his hands. Rolf: "Rolf sees through you, vile plague of the Cul Du Sac! Prepare to be vanquished!" Rolf then fires ink at the goop on Kevin's ear, causing it to disintegrate. Kevin falls unconscious, and his sanitized turquoise hat returns to natural red, as well as his hair returns to natural ginger orange. Nazz gets up and checks Kevin's pulse. Nazz: "He's still breathing." Rolf: "Then we must go into the transit in the Square to wait until the apocalypse has passed." Rolf picks Kevin up, and both Rolf and Nazz head over to the Metro.

Everyone is heading into the Metro to avoid being sanitized. CQ Cumber: "Alright survivors! Single file please! Straight lines!"

Sarah and Jimmy are holding onto each other for dear life. Jimmy: "I'm scared Sarah! I don't want to be sanitized. WAHAHAHA!" Sarah: "Me neither Jimmy. Once we're in the Metro, we should be safe." Then suddenly, sanitized enemy Octolings appear out of nowhere with octoshots in hand. Enemy Octoling 1: "We will destroy you imperfect freaks!"

Everyone then screams and panics. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, Agents 2x4 and 4 appear and splat the enemies.

Inkling woman 1: "Look, it's the Squidbeak Splatoon! They saved us!" Everyone cheers.

Agent 2x4: "No thanks are necessary citizens! We are just doing our job!"

Agent 4: "Uh Agent 2x4, we have company!" More sanitized enemy Octolings keep appearing. Agents 4 and 2x4 then get to work at keeping them at bay.

Everyone then enters the Metro, and it closes.

The heroes then slip in a grate after beating the enemies.

Deepsea Metro, Central Station

Everyone is gathered at the station. CQ Cumber: "Alright, listen up!" CQ Cumber gets everyone's attention. CQ Cumber: "The entrance back to Inkopolis has been blocked off! Any sanitized zombie who tries to get in here will not be able to slip through or climb up the ink resistant gate! If they do, then they will have to deal with the ink lasers that will splat them! The station we are currently in has shops and pit stops. If any vendor wants to set up a base here, you may do so now!"

The Booyah Base and Galleria vendors then set up base. CQ Cumber then pulls out a list of subway cars. CQ Cumbers: "Alright, I will go down the list of who goes in which car! Anyone who is in the Squidbeak Splatoon will be in the first car, as they are the ones sacrificing themselves for everyone else! Car two is for the Inkopolis News, where we have a studio set up for them! The third car is for the DJ's, as there is a DJ studio there for them to make mixtapes and remixes!" Dedf1sh: "I remember being there." DJ Octavio: "Yeah, well looks like you will be back in there. But this time, with the General of awesome! Yeyah!" Dedf1sh: "Ugh." CQ Cumber: "Car 4 is for the folks from Sea Peach, and the remaining cars are for any other Inkopolis citizens! Now, everyone on the train!" The Inklings and Octolings then get on their respective cars. The Subway then takes off.

Also, the Great Zapfish and other zapfish are secured on the top of the subway to keep it powered.

Tick-Tock, Agent 4's pet crocodile, decides to stay by the entrance to the Metro, acting as a guard dog.

Subway, Car 2

Marina is sitting in one of the chairs with Pearl resting on the chair next to her. Agent 8 then enters the second car to check up on Pearl. Agent 8: "How is Mom doing, Mom?" Marina: "She is starting to move." Pearl then wakes from her unconscious state. Pearl: "Where am I? What happened? I remember seeing that awful telephone on the TV, and then I was attacked by something goopy." Agent 8 and Marina then explain the whole thing to Pearl. Pearl: "Well, that's great! How are we going to beat that jerk again?!"

Agent 3 then comes in. Agents 8 and 3: "Don't worry, we will go through the tests and stop him once and for all!" Agent 8: "Oh, also, Agent 3 and I are girlfriends now!" Agent 3: "You tell 'em girlfriend!" The two agents then kiss. Marina: "I knew this would happen! Oh, I'm so happy for you two!" Agent 8: "Well, we have to get back at it! Agents at work now!" Pearl: "Okay, come back safe and sound." Pearl and Marina: "We love you!" The two Agents then go back to their car.
