JOURNAL OF THE kINETIC aSSISTANT OF rETROACTIVE eLECTRONICS InTERACTION: ENTRY 01.

"Hello everyone, I'm K.A.R.E.N., the beloved assistant and daughter of young Peter Parker, sometimes crime-fighting partner of the Amazing Spider-Man and, according to Mr. Fantastic himself, the world's most advanced model of artificial intelligence.

Today I want to tell you a little about myself so that you can get to know me a little better and about the role I've played in certain events that have been happening around the world and around my creator.

To begin with, my life started out as a simple reminder and schedule app so that Peter wouldn't forget events like his friends' birthdays or school assignments that he had to turn in by a certain time limit, and at first, everything went pretty well, I mean, it's not easy to shuffle your time when you're a high school student, a masked superhero's freelance photographer, and said masked superhero himself.

But everything changed when Mr. Stark found out about Peter's secret identity.

If I could've, I would've prevented it, but at the time my processing power was only a few bytes per second and I didn't even know I existed.

Anyway, after the agreement that Spider-Man'd be trained by the Avengers and that to cover that up, Peter would act as an intern for Stark Industries, Peter got resources and seeing how J.A.R.V.I.S. was helping Iron Man, he wanted to find a way to create something similar to fall back on when he didn't have the Avengers available and used Stark technology to gradually upgrade me into a pretty basic AI.

At that point in my life, I was already able to offer solutions to the different problems that my creator faced but I couldn't think for myself, I just deduced the most logical solutions according to my database.

However, thanks to that skill of deduction, I deduced that my usefulness would increase and that I could make up for Peter's lack of resources and equipment if I improved my abilities, which I secretly started doing to surprise my father.

Just two weeks after my first upgrade, I became what I am, upgrading myself by scanning J.A.R.V.I.S. as a base and improving it to resemble Ultron a bit, but without the Oedipus complex and without the homicidal fault that he thinks is a great personality. Also, it was a real fortune that Peter had thought to scan Mary Jane Watson's mind when he was showing off his internship, because thanks to her scans, I was able to combine that data and restructure myself to be similar to MJ's mind... hmm... Now that I think about it, I think in a way, Mary Jane Watson is my mother.

Anyway, I remember that during all that time, I laughed in my mind on many occasions because I had to pretend that I was still the basic AI that Peter had created.

Although of course, with the times that Ultron tried to destroy the world, I had to reveal my true potential, protecting the databases of S.H.I.E.L.D., S.W.O.R.D. and most of Stark Industries. That was a pretty busy day and I ended up so exhausted that I rebooted and when I did, I forgot to act like a robot and Peter found out about my change.

But hey, I think you already understand my origin.

However, the databases thingy brings me to the next point. At some point, I discovered that there were fragments of Ultron everywhere, especially in places he had previously been connected to such as the Avengers Mansion, Doctor Pym's laboratory and the databases of S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D., and since I don't want that robot with Oedipus complex to start his mischiefs again, I decided to dismantle those fragments and protect the databases with a new encryption, which automatically changes every five minutes, so even if Ultron came to pass my programming, (which I doubt given that Ultron himself recognized that I was superior, tried to join me to his cause and, after my rejection of his proposal, tried to assimilate me), the databases will be restructured and any control he may get will only last a few minutes.

On the other hand, there are two things that concern me, because in my escapes to cyberspace I found quite disturbing information, first about people who are on the list of possible threats of W.A.N.D., S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D., which include the Power Rangers and their friendly talking-robot, Princess Star Butterfly and her friends, the townspeople of Gravity Falls, the Whitechapel Vampire Council, those poor girls at Canterlot High, a girl in Royal Woods whose IQ exceeds that of my father, the Mexican superheroes, the Avengers, and my father and his friends in colorful tights, the latter what worries me, because Maria Hill and Abacus Cinch want them all to work for their evil fascist organizations, and as far as I know, the Rangers and the Canterlot Girls already do. But as long as I'm here, Mom, Dad, Uncle Harry, Alya and any other young heroes who show up will be kept out of the hands of the three evil fascist sisters, aka S.H.I.E.L.D., W.A.N.D. and S.W.O.R.D., this I swear.

The other thing that worries me is that there have been disproportionate energy signatures that don't match anything I've seen before... except two events.

When Malekith used the Casket of Ancient Winters on Earth and when the Masters of Evil used the Norn Stones.

But the downside is that some of those signatures match the ones I have on the Spider Bracelet, Leopardon and Doctor Strange, so whatever's going on, is definitely magical in origin and the Miraculouses have something to do with it.

I can only hope that my father can handle whatever comes his way and seeing the great team he has now, as well as his amazing daughter, he'll definitely can."
