21. chapter 20

Rebekah POV :

Rebekah looked up from lacing her boots when she felt her brother presence in her changing Room , she smiled at her favorite older sibling and greeted him cheerfully . " Good morning Nik " .

Klaus smiled back at her as he straightened his Navey Henley and sat on the chair she vacated in favor of the vanity where she started on her makeup . " morning Darling " . he greeted back before he tilted his head to the left and a fond smile stretched his lips . " miracle of miracles , Hayley is up and ready before all of us even Amanda " . he shared exasperatedly .

She gave him a knowing look , " I know how much her attachment to her Brethren's upset you Nik , but they are her family she sought them all her live and we won't be able to keep her away from them " . she stated matter of fact , repeating what he already know .

a Frown took over his handsome features but he nodded in acquiescence he moved to stand beside her and they looked at each other reflection on the vanity mirror , " I want a favor from you sweet sister " . he started and she rolled her eyes at him .

" you know that I will protect her and Hope with my live Nik , I dare anyone to threaten my Niece life infront of me " . she affirmed and he nodded in Gratitude .

" I have no doubt on your love for Hope Bekah , what I'm asking of you is to watch the wolves . I want you to analyze them , you remember how fierce the political struggle was with Lana to remain an alpha and she had the backing of the labonair clan . who may I state are all extent now " . he explained to her and she put down her brush to listen carefully .

She did remember Lana labonair one of Nik's paramour's a political savvy and vicious wolf who sadly didn't pass those qualities to her last decedent , Hayley would have a need of that political talent at some point soon , but she understood Nik point . the labonair clan was large , rich and affluent family in new Orleans in their time they controlled the docks and half the illegal business in the city .

" except for Hayley " . she mumbled distractedly .

" except for Hayley , who was the only survivor because of Marcel timely intervention " . he informed her and her eyes bulged in disbelieve .

" what do you mean ? , does Hayley know ? " . she asked in a low hiss , her mind boggled with the knew information .

" I only found out late last night , I still don't have the entire truth only what Mark found out . I'm waiting on his full report before confronting Marcel or sharing this with Hayley " . he parted with a rub to his jaw .

" yes , yes . that is the smart option " . she nodded in agreement before frowning her brows at him . " I still don't understand what you want me to look for exactly ? " . she asked curiously .

" I want you to keep your eyes and ears open , the Kenner's have lead the pack for the past twenty years they will not let go of their power easily even if Hayley is the rightful alpha . even if they have the inclination , others who supported them or wants to out stake her won't " . he explained as he packed around her changing room with his hands behind his back .

" Elijah pointed out that some of them were not happy that Hayley is associated with us , that she made it clear that she valued our family as much as them " . he pointed out and a smirk over took her face as she corrected him . " more actually , she won't hear a word about Hope , you or her choice to sleep with you and keeping the child you made together from Anyone " . she informed him gleefully , the memory of that conversation with her pack never failing to put a smile on her face .

Its nice to be on the receiving side of good faith and devotion , to meet someone who will not hear a word or let anyone share their opinion or infringe theirs on their association with them . and Hayley wasn't blind to their fault's and dark history but she still chosed them over her long looked for family if only for her daughter sake , it means that she trust them to be a good family to her child which coming from the protective and loving Hayley is a compliment of highest order .

A small smile stretched Klaus lips and his eyes lit up with Relieve and wonder that never failed to pain her heart , her stupid twisted but sweet brother has always been on the disparaging end of any choice right beside Kol and her , " that is reliving to hear , Bex . there is something missing something wrong going on . I feel like there is a storm coming that I shouldn't trust them yet " . he confined in her and she turned to Him with a serious frown .

" And this is not your paranoia speaking ? " . she questioned him and he shock his head . " no , its the same feeling I have whenever things are about to go bad for us Bex the nagging in the back of my mind , the knot on the back of my neck that chilling sensation on your spine , I feel it all " . he emphasised darkly .

She twirled the brush on her fingers thoughtfully , as much as they disparage and complain about Klaus paranoia they never once questioned his instincts especially his danger sense , if he felt that things are going to easy and calm for them they are . if he felt that someone is up to no good regarding them then someone out there definitely is .

" I will look out , take stake of the pack leaders and elders carefully . I will watch how they interact with Hayley , I got this brother " . she assured him confidently .

Klaus kissed her cheek affectionately , " that why I came to you sister , I trust your inquisitive eyes you were always the most insightful of all of us " . he complemented her with a eased a smile and she nodded in agreement .

Gouging people reactions and understanding others motives and desires was her things , she learned from Elijah and Klaus and while her Brothers excelled in extorting others using their weaknesses and Desires she excelled in spotting them , Elijah will chop this for her sensitive and soft heart , Nik to her inherited cunning and beguiling nature , Kol will call her a deceiving liar but she was still the best of them on compelling out secrets willingly .

" I will leave you to finish your preparation , may I say that you look as beautiful and glorious as ever Bekah dearest " . he teased her with a smirk and she swatted his shoulder playfully .

" and you are as insufferably cheeky as always , Nik " . she huffed biting at her growing smile .

Klaus chuckled at her feigned Indignation and leaned in to press a kiss to her temple , " thank you sister " . he said sincerely and she patted His cheek lovingly . " anything for my favorite brother " . she answered back equally sincere .

It had been years since she and her siblings were at ease like this , centuries since they trusted each other so inexplicably , decades since they were openly affectionate and happy Together like now . and the prospect of years maybe even centuries of more peaceful and familial love like now filled her with giddiness and lightness like nothing before .

Elijah Pov :

Elijah was surprised when he heared a knock on his study Door Early in the morning , his siblings weren't on the habit of polite asking for anything let alone a permission to enter his study . which is a shame seeing as he spent an inexhaustible amount of efforts and wealth on teaching and educating them .

Hopefully his niece will take after him Hayley and Finn on their Manner's at least , that alone will make him the happiest man alive . he smiled welcomingly at Hayley who peeked her head in . " Good Morning , can I have a few minutes of your time ? " . she asked with a grin .

He beckoned her in with a wave of his hand , " you don't even have to ask , what can I help you with this lovely Morning Hayley ? " . he asked her as she sat in the chair infront of him .

Hayley sent him a mock glare , " nothing actually , I'm here to check on you . we didn't talk just the two of us in months . so Elijah how are you ? " . she asked him seriously .

He raised a brow at her in confused inquiry , " I'm fine as ever " . he answered with a wave down his body indicating his physical wellbeing .

" no , I mean how are you taking to this whole thing . I know that things isn't as easy as you and Klaus try to make me believe , that the Witch's are giving you troubles " . Hayley stated knowingly and he winced at the clear hurt in her voice .

" Hayley please , we don't mean to hide things from you we only ..." . he tried to comfort her but was cut off by her cool replay . " you only want to protect me I have the damn spiel memorised by heart now , but that is not why I'm here . as I said before I'm here for you , so tell me Elijah how are you feeling now that you are back to co-Ruling the city with Klaus and having to gaggle the factions and your family at the sometime ? " . she asked curiously .

He took a few second to observe and think of her Question before he rubbed his eyes with his fingers ," Truthfully , tired and stressed but happy " . he answered with a sigh . " my siblings are a handful even with Finn efforts to help And Niklaus managing his temper and taking things slowly and Rebekah behaving , the work seems endless . I Forgot how much of a work it take to rule a city as you put it " . he continued .

Hayley looked at his staked table and back at him , " I can help you know , I'm not the best when it came to financial management or things like that but I'm already handling the wolves I can take the humans off your hands and push the Witch's to Klaus with that you can focus on whatever this is " . she offered pointing at the paperwork overtaking his desk .

He smiled at her thankful for her offer , " Thank you but Marcel is taking over his Buddy's , Klaus will deal with the Witch's today and the humans are taking a neutral stand and you are handling the Wolves . I can take care of this " . he assured her confidently not wanting to burden her with his troubles .

" are you sure ? " . she asked again seriously and he smiled at her mirthfully , " you do know that a little bit of work won't kill me " . he teased her .

She gave him a scolding glare that has his lips twitching with suppressed laughter ," but it will burn you off and we need you , I need you Elijah from the moment we meet you were the one I leaned on it's you who helped me make a decision to trust on your family then Klaus cleaned up his act and Rebekah followed you two . I know that I don't say this but you are important to me You are my friend and family and I don't want you to hurt yourself trying to look after us " . she said sincerely .

His heart squeezed in his chest and he had to force his gaze away from hers to be able to think coherently . " thank you Hayley , you are important to me too . you are part of my family now and there is nothing I won't do for my family . don't worry over me please just look after yourself and my niece " . he said a uncharacteristically awkward .

Hayley smiled a put upon fond smile at him as she stood up and made her way to the door , " I should have listened to your siblings there is truly no stopping you from work or worrying " . she said fondly .

He smirked at her and shrugged his shoulders ," what can I say they do know me too well " . he replayed amusedly .

She chuckled as she opened the door , " as long as you remember that we will readily take things off your hands anytime you ask " . she Reminded him seriously , he nodded with a thankful smile . " I will keep that on mind " . he promised , and with a finale smile and a wave she was off closing the door behind her .

He looked at the folder infront of him feeling surprisingly better and in mood to busy himself with the paperwork that seemed like the bane of his day just ten minutes ago .

Bonnie POV :

Bonnie made her way to the Dinning room after showering and changing into a comfortable green sleeveless top with blemished collar and acid washed jeans , with her was the book that Finn had let her burrow for a read before bed , it was a folklore witch tale on the Gypsies it was quite funny and entertaining .

She entered the Dinning room where Kol and Davina were already seated , Davina with her beautiful chocolate looks in high ponytail and in skinny jeans and long sleeved pink v neck sweater that suited her cheerful mood and light makeup wonderfully . " Good morning " . Davina greeted her cheerfully over her mug of coffee .

" Morning " . she smiled at the younger teen amused at her antics watching her enjoy her espresso with relish . " is it really this good ? " . Bonnie asked her amusedly as she put the book to the side .

Davina beamed at her as she answered , " its just try it , I don't know where they get their coffee beans from but I'm in love " . she said enthusiastically .

Beside her Kol laughed as amused as she was as she took her advice and filled her own mug from the heavenly beverage , as she took a sip she couldn't help but take another deeper one and sighing , " damn this is good " . she complemented happily .

" I'm sure our friends in Brazil would appreciate your complement they do take pride on the fruit of their labours " . Klaus said with a smirk as he took his place in the table .

" Brazil ? " . she and Davina asked Together .

" one of our past employee Marcia Fernandez do you remember her Kol ? " . Klaus asked his brother how tilted his head with a thoughtful look . " the witch who was working on your château in Spain 1718 or was it 1728 ? " . kol answered with a hum .

" 1718 she worked for us for twenty five tears before retiring to live with her family in their farm in Brazil with a large sum of money , I contacted her son decades ago to hire him to look after my property there and learned that he is buying and expanding his coffee farm I invested and never regretted it a day on my life " . Klaus finished with a flamboyant wave of his coffee cup .

She blinked her eyes taken back by the story she did know that they had lived for thousand years and that they had impacted a lot of people lives seems like not all of it was as bloody or as negatively as theirs , the way he told the story of Marcia is so casual and a little bit fond that she wondered who was she from the fond roll of Kol eyes he too has some measure of respect and fondness for the woman .

" hey I know that name , Marcia wasn't she your battleaxe housekeeper who didn't get it in her head that she can't get you to put weight no matter how much food she shove down your throats " . Marcel who sat himself on the table at some point without her notice stated with a click of his fingers .

" that is the one , the bloody witch was a mother hen of the highest order and scary one too " . Kol shuddered with a faraway look to his eyes .

Hayley sat beside Klaus as usual followed by Rebekah who asked her Brothers , " who are we gossiping about brothers , do tell so I can contribute " . Rebekah demanded as she took a sip from her morning tea .

" Mary the battleaxe , or bloody Mary depending on the occasion " . Kol stated with huff .

" who ? " . Hayley asked as she fixed her denim jacket over her red top .

Klaus answered as he passed her her morning tea as usual , " one of my past housekeeper " . he answered with a smirk .

Hayley raised her brow at him and inquired curiously , " and ? " .

Rebekah winced as she thought back on the witch , " she was a scary woman , very fond of Nik tried to set him up with numerous girls she even harassed Elijah into courting a Spanish heiress for a month before we had to interfere and save him from her clutches " . Rebekah reminisced with a weird smile .

She raised her brows at the thought of the ever unflappable and controlled Elijah Mikaelson being talked into courting anyone across from her Marcel Davina and Hayley were laughing hard even Finn was chuckling in amusement .

" oh , there was this one time that she tied kol to his chair magically and forced feed him the entire kitchen in two days " . Klaus reminisced with a sneaker and kol gagged as he grumbled ," she is the reason I swore off food for three years " .

Her side hurt from laughing so much , " please I can't " . Davina wheezed her face turned red from laughter , " tell me more " . she demanded from the two Mikaelson siblings with bright mischievous eyes .

" there was this year from hell that she had in her mind that I should prepare to marry off , she lectured me everyday about appropriate behavior my dowry and trousseau until one day she shocked us with a long detailed list of suitable suitors who fit my station and would treat me well and look dashing beside me I too have to go through long three months of courtship with different man every week " . Rebekah told them with a giggle .

" that was quite entertaining to witness , the faces you made as that one boy serenade you was priceless " . Klaus chuckled amusedly .

At Finn raised brows he clarified ," he was twelve in love with our sister Golden visage that was blessed by the goddess of beauty " .

" oh god " . she wheezed trying to imagine Rebekah's face having a twelve years old boy crushing and singing her songs trying to gain her love .

" why didn't I hear of this one " . Marcel demanded breathlessly . " you have been holding out on me " .

The three Mikaelson's siblings gave out different expressions of casual indifference as Klaus helped Hayley sit back up straight on her chair where she was leaning precariously nearly falling sideway .

" no more stories or we would have to take you three to a hospital , breath now " . Klaus urged Hayley as she coughed breathlessly .

Once they got their breath under control except for Davina who still have a red face and her lips keep twitching , they had a peaceful breakfast before Klaus escorted his sister , Davina and Hayley to the waiting BMW outside .

" do you have anything planned for this morning Bonnie ? " . Finn asked her calmly as the two of them made their way to the library after the eventful breakfast they had .

" no not really , do you have something ? " . she asked him curiously .

" no I'm giving you the morning to do with as you like we will start on the afternoon " . Finn told her and with a nod made his way to a stake of books and where Kate was waiting for him .

She took her place on one of the fluffy couch and sank on it to finish her book before her afternoon lesson .

Hayley POV :

Hayley sat on the passenger seat in the BMW that Rebekah was driving she fiddled nervously with the silver crescent moon necklace over her red camisole her other hand tapping an erratic rhythm on her knee .

" Hayley settle down please you are distracting me " . Rebekah requested with a huff .

Davina leaned over from the backseat and asked her curiously , " why are you so nervous ? , shouldn't you be happy ? " .

She stopped her taping and curled her fingers Together trying to stop any unconscious agitated movement , " I'm more than happy , I'm ecstatic " . she answered her softly .

" But ? " . Rebekah urged her softly .

She explained with a nervous brush to her hair , " but I can't help feeling nervous , I will be meeting new faces " . to everyone else , " people who I only communicated with them one sidedly for the past month who I don't know what they think of me or if they ..." .

Davina cut her off by taking her hand from her hair and into hers and calmed her softly , " OK , enough of this . your family like you a lot Hayley I'm sure they look forward to knowing you " .

It's not wither they like her or not that have her so agitated it's the fact that now they are given the cure to their curse they would want to join the power struggle in the French quarter , will they be tempted like last time by Esther and Francisca promises or would they keep loyal to her now that she stood firmly with the Mikaelsons and support their bid for ruling the city .

What if they don't want her as their alpha this time around or demand that she prove her loyalty by marrying Jackson sooner , Will she pass over her right to Jackson without a fight not to forget Klaus he will kill whoever stand in her way she know that and they know it too , would they choose to follow her out of fear then .

What if they ask her to marry Jackson could she do that to him again ? , force him into another loveless marriage where he was second in her heart . will he even want to marry her now that she isn't the same woman he loved the brash , loyal and easygoing wolf that want the best to her pack and to be good kin over anything else .

" please they better love us after the trouble we went through to have Celeste create the counter curse " . Rebekah grumbled with pout . " I still can't believe she did so willingly " . she stated as she parked her car a little further than they were used too .

" nor do I , if not for Klaus reassurance I will swear that this is another ploy from her " . Hayley agreed as she took off her seatbelt and moved out the car .

" common Amanda and kol said that it's the real cure , let's not worry over what the dead witch has planned and focus on getting this to your people " . Davina urged the two as she helped Rebekah take the boxes out of the trunk .

Rebekah flicked Davina's nose fondly before meaning in to pick two boxes of her own , " we aren't all as optimistic and simple as you are . but you are right whatever she has planned we can deal with it when the time come " . she said with a nod to her .

She tried to find comfort in their words and closed the trunk and car and followed the two to the village which was closure to where they were parking .

They were greeted by Bree and Clarisse who were returning with basket filled with washed Landry and herbs and mushrooms respectively . " Andrea , Hello . here for a visit " . Bree greeted them cheerfully . " oh Rebekah when did you get back to the city ? " .

" yeah we came to check on you " . Hayley Greeted the two with a hug that they returned readily .

" Hello , I was told that I was missed greatly so I came to see the little munchkins " . Rebekah fretted them politely .

" I wanted to spend time with Jane , the abattoir is to stuffy and boring " . Davina stated easily with a cheeky smile .

" and here I thought we were entertaining you to the best of our abilities , poor Kol how would he feel learning that he wasn't as fun as he think he is ? " . Rebekah teased her with wicked smirk .

Davina glared playfully at her , " keep kol out of this I just want some girl time is that a crime ? " . she huffed indignantly making them laugh .

They reached the small settlement where the woman and children were finishing their morning chores and laid the boxes carefully on one empty table .

" what is this , please tell me it's not more toy's . I can't handle a fight this early " . Clarisse asked them curiously .

" You didn't have to trouble yourself again we can't take anything more from you " . eve who joined them with Lillian and a few teenagers said earnestly .

" yes you will , sorry it isn't any provision or toys " . Hayley stated firmly as she opened on box and took out a jar showing it to the gathered wolves who come to see what they brought today .

" what is this ? " . Mary asked curiously , " more important is is it delicious ? " .

Hayley flicked her nose fondly and passed the jar to Eve who inspected it curiously , " this is not for you it's for the wolves , it will cure them from the curse " . she sated with a smile .

Silence filled the clearness for a second and eve hands shoke she hurried to take the jar off her hands before she end up smashing it or dropping it , " you ... This is ... Andrea !? " . Lillian chocked out hoarsely with a hand covering her mouth .

" how ? , are you sure this will work ? " . Clarisse was the first to regain her bearing and demanded eagerly her hands tightening around her forearm as she peered closely inside at the herb .

" Klaus captured Celeste and forced her to make the cure , and we are confident that it will work we just have to feed them the herb and make them drink the juice and they will be back to normal " . Hayley assured them with utter confidence .

Chatter and excitement broke in the clearing as the children talked excitedly , seeing the women are still stunned and unable to act Hayley clapped her hand and shushed the children down . " could you please go and collect a change of Clothes for our Brethren's they will need it " . she waved them off to the small houses and they run off without objections to fulfill their task .

" Andrea if this work ... If they are cured we will be in yours and Klaus debt our entire lives " . Bree breathed emotionally .

" please Bree I didn't do anything it was all Klaus and he doesn't need anything from us " . Hayley said earnestly .

" except your complete loyalty to Hayley and your promise to uphold the law's and keep your peace in the quarter " . Rebekah stated with a toothy smile but her eyes are cool and she made their stand clear .

" we know you don't need to state it like that , Hayley is one of us we will never turn our back on her " . Lillian hissed passionately .

Rebekah's smile didn't waver as she shrugged nonchalantly , " keep your words and you won't have to hear this words from us or face our wrath " . she replied easily with a hair toss .

" Bekah , please " . she gasped in worry .

Rebekah's face softened and she smiled softly at her ," I'm just looking out for you and Hope Hayley you may trust them with your life but we don't , we trusted on the labonair family to keep their word you are the only labonair alive and now we have to trust this new alpha who we don't know to keep his " . she explained apologetically .

" Jackson will never harm Hayley she mean so much to us to him " . eve stated ominously attracting Davina's and Rebekah's curiosity . " we told you we only want peace and we are willing to work with you to achieve it " . she finished firmly .

" let's focus on curing the wolves , alright . all of this can wait for later " . she mediated as she passed each of the gathered teens and woman a jar . " feed as many wolves as you can " .

With finale look between Eve , clarisse , Lillian and Rebekah they moved to the woods where a few wolves were staying close to watch over the village , she noticed Jackson immediately as well as oliver and Mary she made her way to them and they got closure to her .

She kneeled infront of them and opened the two hard in her hands and showed it to them they looked curiously at it before sniffing it and jolting away in repulsion . " well to bad you have to finish this to return back to your true form " . she said with a smirk .

At Jackson and oliver growls of detest she waved the herb in her hand and rolled her eyes at them . " stop acting like children you waited tears to reserve the curse now you are whining like children over the smell , eat it " . she ordered the two fiercely .

They whined but the three finished the two jars she waited with them in tense apprehension and was relived when three minutes later the Bones of their paws started to snap she passed each a change of clothes and waited for them to change back to normal all around her wolves were running off to the woods to change into their human forms .

Ten minutes later , sloppily dressed men and woman moved back to the woods to Reunite with their families and loved ones for the first time outside the full moon and in the light of day , cries and shouts of happiness and joy filled the air along with the smell of tears and pheromones .

Rebekah and Davina joined her as they stood to the side watching and taking in everything , she smiled with joy as she watched her family come back together after years of separation , she watched as Bree kissed her husband and the two hugged their children kissing each of their head and faces and the pure happiness and wonder on the children faces to see their parents and cousin and to know that this is forever , hopeful this time they will truly be free forever .

ST. ANNE'S CHURCH :

Father Kieran and Klaus have gathered a meeting for the various supernatural and human factions to settle on an agreement , including Genevieve Marcel and Diego to represent the witches and the vampires , respectively .

Father Kieran stood up from his seat and cleared his voice before addressing the gathered representative , " St. Anne's has long been neutral ground in our city . So , it's only fitting that we gather in this chamber at the behest of the Mikaelson family to bring harmony to this place we call home . Thank you all for coming " .

Klaus stood up and gave the gathered individual a polite smile as he started " Yes , thank you all for coming . And welcome .its generous of you to bestow us with your presence miss Genevieve the Witch's cooperation is of outmost importance for our success " . he addressed Genevieve who smiled beautifully at him and answered sweetly .

" its not a generosity I would have come anyway after all we are all looking after the good of our people " .

Klaus smiled at her more politely making her smile widen a little , He held up a signed document for all of them to see ," These are the rules of the city according to Marcel Gerard my protégé that was agreed upon after our departure from the city , which of course no longer apply now that we are back and in our rightful place once again " . with that He teared the document in half before throwing it in the table .

" I don't not understand , you are the king of the quarter , yet You said that if we came along , that we would get to run things by ourselves " . Diego tsked curiously .

" and I meant every word I said , you were each selected to represent your own communities . In our honor, however, any issues that arise between factions , it will come to me . Now , we are all responsible for the current chaos in the city . However, you have one very , very simple choice ahead of you here: you can all play nicely together , or you can leave " . he stated the speech and terms that he , Elijah Finn and Marcel had settled on . " and if any of you thought to oppose us , will . death is a still an option " . he finished with a smirk .

At his words Genevieve and the witch beside her paled and exchanged foreboding looks .

THE BAYOU :

Hayley was again waved away by the women and men who were preparing a feast to celebrate the lifting of the curse of them , Davina was helping the girls washing the dishes as they gossiped over something and giggled to themselves mischievously . Rebekah was tasked with watching over the kids who were following the wolves spar in the clearing while the elders rested .

Hayley approached Jackson as they both watch Oliver and another wolf sparring and wrestling .

" is that really necessary ? , I thought we are celebrating " . Hayley asked him with a wave and a wince as the werewolf twisted Oliver arm painfully .

" of course , we need to establish the pecking order " .he smiled at her in greeting and cheered the wolf once oliver gave up , " They already know who's the Alpha " .

WEREWOLF " Ohh ! Next up ! " .

" And that would be ? " . she asked curious to gear His answer .

" I'm for now until you give birth and we decide his to settle this despite " . he answered awkwardly avoiding looking at her stomach .

Oliver shoot the fidgeting and guilty looking Eve a discrete look and Jackson who stiffened beside her a side look , " look It doesn't matter . Hayley putt down her fork and stared between Eve Jackson and Mary and nodded to Herself , she stood up and addressed the silent wolves who were watching her warily . She looked around her at the stunned faces of the wolves and back to the gobsmacked oliver and said tonelessly , " next time you try to imply that I'm an ignorant fool make sure to clear your facts first " . she tuned to Rebekah and Davina and said softly . " could we return please , I lost my appetite " . she didn't wait for their answer and left the gall with her head held high and as much dignity as possible refusing to show how much their secretiveness and their lack of trust on her hurt .

Klaus waved to Diego and Marcel and urged him calmly , " Let's start with you Marcel what is your objectives to the new boundaries ? " .

" You are flattering me , Please , call me Francesca . I do hope that we will become friends as well as good partners ". She said softly while waving a waiter over with refreshments Elijah accepted it but didn't drink from it .

Choosing to throw away formalities and go directly to businesses he went to the attack immediately in hope of throwing her off balance and gaining the upper hand in this negotiations , " We can dispense with any formalities , Ms. Correa . I know exactly who you are . You own the Palace Royal Casino . You're one of the city's leading philanthropists. The next Morning :

" How so ? " . Jackson asked him but he was still obviously shaken , Klaus eyes narrowed st him suspiciously before he turned to her she hurried to avoid his eyes by watching the elders and Jackson reactions .

Klaus tsked but still continued to explain , " Daylight rings shield vampires from the sun . So , why not a moonlight ring to protect werewolves from the curse ? Think about it ! No more breaking bones , no more losing control to the beast within " .

The four exchanged disbelieving but hopeful looks before they turned to her enquiringly , " it will work but it will take time to figure out the original spell " . she answered them truthfully remembering that it took Genevieve months to spell the rings even if she ended up tampering with them .

Jackson exchanged looks with the three elders who nodded resolutely before he asked Klaus with a sigh , " What do I have to do ? " .

Klaus smirked victoriously and handed him an invitation , " let's start with you attending tonight factions party " . Klaus ordered smugly .

Bonnie POV :

She just returned from her lessons with Finn and throw herself at her bed in a boneless heap , her days are quite leisurely in new Orleans the opposite of what she had expected .

She had the mornings to Herself where she could either read or watch TV or swim in the pool afternoons are filled with lessons then she had the rest of days to Herself , her meals are prepared by master chief's lead by Amanda she lack for nothing and the Mikaeslons are leaving her alone which is another surprise .

No insults , attacks verbally or physically no scheme's and no forcing her to do spells . it's like she is in a holiday until the next semester in college start .

Just then her door was thrown open and Davina danced in she beamed at her in greeting , " up now , I need your help " . she demanded as she pulled her off the bed .

She shoot the snickering and amused Kol a wide startled look before turning to the living storm that was Davina pulling her to the hallway and to her Room . " what ? , what do you need me for ? " . she asked the younger witch worriedly .

Davina stormed to her room where clothes and accessories were thrown around over every surface , Davina picked a red chiffon dress and inspected it . " I need your help to find a dress for tonight party , I thought Finn told you about it ? " . Davina asked her curiously as she throw away the dress nearly hitting Kol who dodged the dress numbly .

Bonnie shoot Kol an incredulous look as Davina moved to pick another blue mermaid dress before throwing it away . " he did mention it , you are planning to attend then " . she stated as she moved to inspect the heap of dresses on the bed .

" I had too , Genevieve our new leader is bringing Monique and Abigail the other two harvest girls to show them off . Klaus said that I can't hide in my room that I need to show Genevieve that I don't need her to learn and improve and that I'm not a trophy to show off and use to threaten others , which yeah I like ? . but I don't know what to wear " . Davina rumbled as she moved to bring more outfits from her closet .

" why didn't you ask Rebekah or Hayley ? " . she asked her curiously as she inspected a black mini dress admiringly .

" Rebekah is busy organizing the party and Hayley is with Klaus in his study in a meeting with the wolves and kol is no help " . Davina answered her with a moan of despair .

" it's no fault of mine or yours that you look gorgeous in whatever you wear " . Kol retorted with devilish smirk and she rolled her eyes at his him .

" Shut up Kol " . Davina snapped with red cheeks as she came out with handful of outfits to wear .

Kol chuckled to himself as he lounged in a chair watching them with obvious entertainment . " and I heard from Bekah that you used to have a lot if parties in your town , so you must have experience dressing up " . Davina finished with a wave to her .

" sure I would love to help you find a dress " . Bonnie said with a giggle as she moved to other side of bed where a dress caught her eyes .

" and with hair and makeup too , I'm not professional in those yet " . Davina asked her shyly .

" yeah , why not ! . I missed dressing friends up , and I'm not attending the party anyway " . Bonnie answered her easily with a shrug .

Davina paused in her search and looked at her curiously , " you are not ? , why ? " . she demanded .

" Finn said that the situation is tense and a fight may break tonight , that and the Witch's here hate my family and may feel threatened if they learned of my presence do I'm having dinner in my room and Bing watching breaking bad , and the walking dead " . she answered with a hum .

Davina pouted at her , " but that not fair , I wanted to have fun with you there " . she whines sadly .

She sent her an apologetic smile , " you would still have Bekah , Hayley , Josh and Marcel to keep you entertained " . Kol reminded her and she brightened immediately .

" so do you have any specific look in mind ? " . Bonnie asked her excitedly .

" Nope you ? " Davina returned with a shrug .

" how about we go with classic prep look , or sophisticated simpleness . I noticed that you love Lacey and floral style which suit you but let's try something new . How about this " . she handed her a grey maxi banded dress to try .

Once she came out wearing it Kol was the first to object , " No grey or black , go with red and blue or pastel's those are her colours " . he advised them and she nodded in agreement , she looked around and spotted the perfect dress .

She inspected it before passing it to Davina who Hurried back to the changing room to try it in , she clapped in victory and admiration once she saw her in it even Kol let out an impressed whistle .

The dress was knee length blush pink Two Piece mock dress , with Cut Out Open Back and Spaghetti Straps , it suited her figure well . " that is the dress , let's go with silver accessories " . she turned to kol enquiringly . " hair up or down ? " .

" curl it Down " . he stated firmly .

" now that we had this figured out " . Davina announced , she held up a bag of nail Polish's . " how about you tell me about those parties on your town and I tell you of our many many festivals while we paint our nail's , Hm " . Davina all put pushed her to the couch before she hurried back to the changing room .

Kol all but fled from the room not even using the door .

FACTION PARTY...MIKAELSON COMPOUND :

Rebekah had finished the preparation early and the courtyard and foyer looked both elegant and welcoming even with the short time , food drinks and music were arranged professionally and she was watching the hired servers finish last minutes touch's in her Royal blue spaghetti straps mermaid dress and she looked stunning with her hair up in a chignon , and diamond earnings dangling from her ears matched with a necklace bracelet and ring with the same design .

The party is held with the aim to get all the factions to gathered here to celebrate together and mingle and more importantly get their guard down , Genevieve entered with Abigail and Monique in tow . followed by Diego and the other vampires who made beeline to where Marcel was sitting drinking in the bar , Francisca and father Kieran entered with the mayor and other humans followed last by Jackson who came with Clarisse , oliver , Eve and four other Wolves all dressed properly .

Once Francisca moved away from father Kieran with the mayor he looked up to the Balcony where Elijah and Klaus both attired in fine tailored tuxedos were watching the party with two flutes of champagne in each hand and nodded resolutely and they nodded back with satisfied smirks .

" I'm impressed , brother " . Elijah drawled out with a smile .

" then you should pass your complement to dear Bekah , she did pull out a wonderful party witch such a short notice too " . Klaus drawled back with a wink to Rebekah who looked up and gave her brother a proud smile .

Elijah chuckled at her and lamented with a sigh , " Now if I can just keep them from tearing one another to shreds " .

Klaus chuckled and raised his flute in a cheer , " Well , then for your sake , here's to a spectacularly boring evening " .

" Here for praying " . Elijah sighed as he clicked his flute with his brothers before taking large sip from his drink .

Hayley's voice cane from behind them as she entered the Balcony , " How is the party going ? " . she asked the two as she came behind them .

" uneventful for now at least " . Elijah retorted without turning back .

" don't get your Hope's up , yet " . she said with a sigh .

" you don't have to worry over that , yet ... " . Klaus said as he turned to face her and trailed off in shock when he took in her appearance .

She chosed a red lace V neck Tie - waist maxi dress with quarter sleeve with ombre pumps and had her hair in an elaborated waterfall with ruby encrusted jewelry and flawless make-up , she stood between the two stunned Brothers looking down at the courtyard where Everyone were mingling .

" Hayley you look... " . Elijah started quietly his eyes wide in clear administration before he trailed off speechlessly .

" breathtaking " . Klaus finished for him equal as impressed .

Elijah's lips twitched before he finished for himself , " I was going to say stunning but that is suitable description too " .

" thank you " . she said gratefully . " it's Rebekah's Choice " . she informed them with a fond down smile to the original who is chatting with Davina and Marcel both making it obvious that they are shielding the teenager from other Witch's .

" Bekah is blessed with a good eye and implacable taste " . Klaus praised his sister with a fond smile of his own before he soured it with a snide comment , " on matching outfits , organising formal celebration , and generally in everything but men " .

" you are being a dick Klaus " . Hayley reprimanded him and waved apologetically to the glaring and bristling Rebekah , beside her Marcel was sniggering until Rebekah put him in his place with a well placed elbow to the ribs .

" we should join our guests " . Elijah suggested after clearing his throat .

" we should " . Klaus agreed before he extended his elbow to her and she took it and the three of them went down the stairs to join their guests .

As soon as they touched the courtyard Elijah was accosted by Francisca Correa Klaus and Hayley sent his cheeky grin's but didn't hesitate to abandon him to join Rebekah and Marcel , " Since you're preoccupied , I'll intuit your flattering compliment " . she said confidently and continued with a pretentious smile , " Thank you , I think I look stunning, too "

Elijah resisted the urge to roll his eyes at her impudence , sadly it was beneath him so he settled to raising his brows at her an inquiring seriously , " I trust you've spent as much time fortifying alliances as you clearly have selecting that dress " .

Francisca smirked triumphantly , " So youdonotice me . And , yes , I've already settled the dispute over the docks . I pacified the witches with an increased share in cemetery tours , and I've given the Crescents a Welcome - Back -to - Humanity gift in the form of $100 chips to my casino . So , I think I deserve some champagne , don't you ? " .

Elijah grabbed another filled glass of champagne off a passing hostess , but when she grabs for it , he pulls it away , " Ahh . You know with father Kieran influence and flawless reputation you won't be able to set him aside easily , you will have to wait for along time before you can take after him " .

She took the glass from him and shrugged her shoulders carelessly, " it never hurt to start making connections early and who knows what will change tomorrow , people tend to fall dead like flies in this city " . she said meaningfully and he narrowed his eyes at her before shifting his attention to his siblings .

He noticed that Jackson was moving to where Hayley was chatting with Rebekah and Davina and moved to intercept him . " Jackson Kenner I presume , welcome to my home " .

" that's me and you must be the Nobel original , I wouldn't be here if your brother and Hayley hadn't forced the issue " . Jackson said calmly his eyes still fixed on Hayley who was laughing at something Marcel said . " our participation isn't as warm as she had wanted it to be " . he stated with a wave to where the Witch's and vampires were glaring at them .

" Yes. It's rather unlikely that you'll experience an outpouring of kind sentiment here , The vampires in particular view you as ... well , barbaric " . Elijah stated a Matter of fact , he dislike wolves in General and if his brother wasn't one of them he would prefer to be away from them after Henrik , recently he began to warm up to them little by little thanks to Hayley and her pride in herself .

" Hayley tells me that this peace treaty is important to you and your family " . Jackson said obviously repeating Hayley's words .

" Yes , it certainly is . So much so , in fact , that if anyone threatened to dismantle what I'm building here , I'd destroy everything they hold dear " . he said calmly keeping the man gaze to emphasis his point . " and I'm sure that you have already heard this from my siblings a couple of time , but hear it from me if you touch a hair on Hayley's head or harm her in anyway I will make you into a rug in my study " . he threatened coolly before he put in his usual polite smile , " Have a wonderful evening " . with that he left the displeased wolf to join his family , maybe Hayley would feel up to a Dance .

" can I have this dance please ? " . he asked Hayley with a smile that she returned before taking his hand .

He lead her to the the scarce Dance floor and lead her through an expert dance twirling her around exaggeratedly eliciting laughs from her .

From across the dance floor he smiled at Klaus who was giving him a death Glare and Jackson who looked like he was debating whisking Hayley from his arms and out the abattoir all together .

" you dance very well " . he complemented her Truthfully .

" one of my foster mother's loved fancy parties and Gala's and tried to get me to dance with every young child in the Room " . she imparted with a faraway look in her eyes .

Before he could comment on that they were interrupted by Jackson who joined them , " Can I have a minute , Hayley ? " . he asked Hayley with a little smile .

" You can have it later " . he brushed him off with a scorned scowl .

Hayley Looked between the two of them before her eyes darkened and she turned to him apologetically , " no I need to speak with Jackson anyway " . she said diplomatically , she squeezed his hands and gave him a gentle smile . " thank you for the dance Elijah , I had a lot of fun " .

He sighed in disappointment and kissed the back of her hand and smiled at her , " thank you for the lovely dance Hayley , maybe we can finish it later where impolite guest's aren't around " . he said cheekily .

Hayley sent him a playful glare before taking Jackson hand and leads him away from Elijah to the food table .

" hey , are you Guy's having fun ? " . she asked Jackson once she was out of Earshot or what Jackson believed to be out of earshot .

" yeah the party is nice and utterly fancy and aside from the company everything is good , I wanted to tell you how beautiful you look tonight " . he said softly and sincerely .

She gave him a strained sad smile , " thank you " .

Jackson didn't seem to notice and opened his mouth to speak again and then closed it off when the sound of rukhess was heared over the music they both turned to saw a furious Diego with his vampire face pick Oliver up and throws him across the courtyard , where he fell into a table covered in glasses of champagne which shatter upon impact . Diego vamp speeds over to him intent to neat him to pulp , but Oliver pinned him against a wall .

Suddenly , Elijah appeared and pulled Oliver off of him before pushing him against a table , with Klaus holding Diego in a neck lock .

She rushed with Jackson to try and stop the quarrel , " what in the blazing fire of hell do you two think you are doing ? " . Klaus hissed furiously .

" This endsnow , I won't ask again " . Elijah Growled warningly .

Jackson reached them first and pulled Diego from Klaus hold that was slackened by surprise then pinning Diego to the wall , with stake he pulled from the broken table s aimed right at his heart making him tense in fear . " Oh , we'll end it all right " . he hissed threateningly at Elijah and Klaus .

Heavy silence settled over the courtyard as everyone watched the conflict with patted breath , until Hayley appeared on the staircase and made her way between the two sides .

" what are you doing , I thought that you wanted Peace , this isn't peace " . she shouted angrily at the two , " Elijah please let Oliver go , Jackson lower that stake please we ... " .

" No , this son of bitch has attacked my second unprovoked . if he or anyone else think that they can attack us and get away with it then they are going to learn to Regret it " . Jackson said furiously .

A sneer overtook Klaus face and Rebekah and Marcel moved to join Elijah and Klaus , Marcel eyes never leaving Diego's body he was tense and ready to tear into Jackson the first chance he got .

Clarisse and the other wolves surrounding Jackson protectively they too locked ready to fight back , Hayley looked between them with wide eyes her breathing irregular before her shoulders slumped .

" What's stopping you then ? Kill him . Go ahead , you too Elijah . Do it . I mean, it's not like they doesn't deserve to die " . she said sadly , " I mean it's not like oliver can pass the chance to offend someone , But, then again , wasn't it Diego who jumped him first or led a werewolf massacre last month ? And the witches cursed the wolves , while the humans stood back and let it all happen like it's nothing . So , when you think about it , everyone here deserves to die " . she finished with a disappointed Head shake .

" Are you approaching a point ? " . Elijah demanded with deadly glare towards Jackson his hand tightening around oliver neck .

Hayley sent him a fathomless look before continuing passionately a protective hand on her baby pump , " My point , Elijah , is this... if we can't all learn to get along , if our families can't create some sort of community , then what's the point ? Kill each other and get it all over with ".

Everyone was silent considering Hayley's words father Kieran made his way to Hayley and patted her shoulder with sad understanding smile as his eyed her womb knowingly , Klaus moved towards her warping a protective arm around her shoulder . Elijah let go of Oliver , and Jackson reluctantly let go of Diego as well .

" now that we are done acting like Buffon's let's sing this damned piece of papers " . Rebekah urged them motioning to a table where the said treaty was laid with an empty inkwell and a Golden pen .

the leaders of the five factions , Klaus , Marcel , Genevieve , father Kieran, and Hayley ... Alongside their seconds , Elijah , Diego , unknown witch , Francisca and Jackson gathered around the table under everyone watch .

representing the Originals , the vampires , the witches , the humans , and the werewolves , and that they respectively have finally drafted their peace treaty . They each cut their palms and dripped their blood into an inkwell , in order to sign the document with a mixture of all their blood .

After they finished Klaus gave them a polite smile , " This Party is over , let's not push each others tolerance anymore for tonight " . Klaus ordered as he waved to the door .

no one hesitated to leave , and in a few minutes the courtyard was empty from all but the Mikaelson and their Servants .

Hayley went to her Room without a word to anyone Followed by Davina who broke off from her Glare match with Monique Deveraux who was watching her from the Gate .
