(Spoilers on what happened to Ethan and the game in RE8) During the sequence when Jack Baker had stomped Ethan's face, he was infected. Not just by Eveline, but from the remnants of the Blacklight virus from New York years ago. Now armed to the teeth to save his daughter, Ethan finds out that he was more than meets the eye.

Ok, so, first things first, I just need to say, again, Thank you for the support you guys. I really appreciate how you guys are enjoying the story so far, I'm really happy for the positive feedback from you guys and willing to do more of the story.

But here are some things that I forgot to mention in the chapter and a couple of you guys are wondering if Ethan is going to be using the virus's abilities rather than weapons from the canon.

So let's get the first thing out of the way. As much as I love the positive feedback on the story from you guys, I forgot to mention that if you guys have any criticism about the story then don't be afraid to place it there for me to see. As much as the positivity of the reviews were, I kinda want to see there are some criticisms about certain parts, or the character or so on. Because I believe that having criticism is good when making a story, since it will give you a chance to correct or do things better in the future and improve yourself.

I asked that in a lot of my stories, since I felt that criticism is good no matter what. So I asked you guys again if you guys have any sort of criticism regarding the story then don't be afraid to place it here, but I will only accept it as long as it is Straight to the point, Respectful, and most importantly, NO WAY OFFENSIVE in any kind shape or form.

OK now to the second part; his arsenal.

So Ethan would have the basics of the Blacklight virus's abilities. Super strength and speed, consumption of bodies, and flight. He would still have the weapons, such as claws, blade, the whipfist, and among other things.

But even though that would seem fun, it feels a bit too short of a story for me to do. I kinda wanted Ethan to use a mixture of both guns and the Blacklight abilities. Though it would lean in more of the abilities for what I had planned for him. The reason for him using both guns and abilities, is that Ethan, for my understanding, is not a type of guy that would be accepting of what he is so easily. That, and I wanted him to still have a challenge when going up against the Lords and Miranda.

This also brings another point, where Ethan is NOT on the same level of Mercer in the beginning when he got infected. Even though he had the core version of the virus, he isn't in the same power level as Mercer was. But this doesn't mean that he can't get up there. Like Heller and Mercer, Ethan would rise from the basics to a huge powerhouse.

But as he does so, I would be doing a few tweaks here and there in the Blacklight's abilities and weapons. Trying to make him unique and different from Heller and Mercer, but still trying to keep the core component of the Blacklight virus.

Overall, There are so many tweaks I can do and I want the readers to experience what Ethan is experiencing during the course of the fanfic.

So that is it for the note guys, I hope you guys understand what I'm going for in this fanfic and it would give you guys a little hint on what I'm about to do, but again, who really knows, huh? PEACE!
