Third POV
Fear.
A chronic disease that existed within all matters of life. Harbouring an overbearing amount of doubt, anxiety, mistrust, paranoia and irrationality. It sits there. Waiting, collecting. Until it overrides all sense of rationality or reason.
People are driven by fear.
Fear of the unknown. Fear of unprecedented outcomes. Fear of God or Satan.
And even...death Itself.
People would always have fear. Every man, woman, child, young, or old-there will always be fear. Because fear is inevitable to shut off. Its ever-looming presence binds your soul, while its unheated touch cemented your very fibre of your flesh.
Ethan felt this back when he was in Dulvey. And he still does. Louisiana wasn't the place where the fear stopped. In fact, it followed him. Giving him endless psychological torment in every waking moment after those events. In every corner, in every shadow, and in every goddamned forest or deep blue abyss that they come across. Waiting for the twisted and demented form of Jack Baker to reveal himself with a shovel. Ready to sever his limbs once again. Or maybe Marguerite's hive-infested womb, or even Lucas's so called 'Birthday Surprise'.
It. All. Stayed. With. Him.
Now he can see that same amount of fear, in both the father and daughter's eyes. Their expressions were lace with dread, panic, and worry. But most of all: fear. The village is plagued by the ear-piercing howls of the wolves and the combustible crack of gunfire, as it followed by the yells of concern from Leonardo. The sickening semi-liquified texture of mud and grime coated their heels. Adding more weight in their exhausted forms as they continue to run for safety.
"Hurry! They're coming!" Leonardo yelled, dragging his daughter by her hand as Ethan trails behind them. Carefully shooting the horde of Lycans with his last magazine, while preserving as much bullets as possible. He saw more Lycans entering the fray, surrounding the area and the sides.
"How much further is it!" Ethan yelled, firing a shot that manage to hit a Lycan at the eye, killing it. He looks at the chamber and quickly checks that he only has three rounds left. Cursing under his breath and quickening his pace a bit. Trying to be careful not to show the Blacklight virus.
"It's not much further!" Elena responded with panic and fear-wrapped tone. Gripping the LEMI handgun and giving out a silent prayer. Leonardo looks back at his daughter and grits his teeth. Things just HAD to go worse for them. With the increasingly depletion of the village, Leonardo had to watch his friends, his family, and his entire village turned into a husk of itself. He heard people disappeared for days upon weeks. Bodies that were unrecognizable by the human eye, are found by other villagers. And the monster…He could never forget what they did to Jasper, his beloved wife.
And now a person had entered the village, an outsider no less. Nothing can ever be good when they are around.
And he was right.
They were getting to Luiza's house just fine before Ethan had arrived. But now...They have an entire pack of those monsters chasing them down!
He warned Elena. He warned her about the consequences of letting the outsider go with them. But she just had to be too stubborn for her own sake.
"Ah!" Leonardo cried out as one of the Lycans tried to claw his chest. Luckily, he narrowly dodges the attack and uses his machete to the head, successfully killing the beast. He looks back to his daughter, eyes written with fear and concern.
"Are you ok, Elena?" Leonardo asks, getting a nod in return. That was enough as he grabs hold of her hand and begins to run.
The three continue to run through the village's passageway. Their bodies demanded rest and safety from the horde that was chasing them. Their legs burning in exhaustion while the Lycans got closer. They stop momentarily at an open field and Ethan sees a house, in the distance.
"There! That's Luiza's house!" Elena shouted, making Ethan look at the house in the distance. From the distance, he could tell that the house was two stories high, blocked by a large gate, and was across a field of wheat. Ethan bite his tongue at their fucking luck. The wheat was just tall and thick enough to hide a person in plain sight. And with how the Lycan can be capable of stealth, it's a perfect set up for an ambush.
But what choice do they have? It's either that, or be mutilated to death by the horde.
Gazing towards the father-daughter duo, he gives them an unsure look at the predicament while they give their own. Realizing the same conclusion that he had realized. But nonetheless, they nodded before making a beeline to the house. Back to the village, the Lycans snarl in hunger, watching the three go into the fields before chasing after them.
With Ethan and the rest, Ethan suddenly stops on his tracks as he recognizes that none of the Lycans are coming near them. He looked around the area, finding it eerily quiet. Elena turns back to look at the blonde man, worry written on her face.
"Ethan, What's wrong?" Elena ask, but Leonardo pulls her towards him.
"We don't have much time. We need to move!" He said, pulling his daughter closer as they run through the house. Ethan was about to follow them until something caught his eye. Or more importantly, his ears caught something.
Ethan stood there on the passageway, focusing on the sound that he was hearing. A distinct sound of rustling can be heard as he stood there, suspicion and anxiety lace around his face. Soon, the rustling gotten faster-more erratic, then it went silent. Ethan's eyes widened in panic realization before looking at the father, daughter duo.
"Look out!" Ethan yelled, making both Leonardo and Elena turn around in shock and surprise. Pretty soon, a Lycan jumps out from the wheat field, knocking Leonardo down to the ground.
"FATHER!" Elena yelled, shooting the Lycan on the back. The beast roars in pain, giving Leonardo the edge to kick the Lycan off of him. He quickly stood up on his feet and swings his machete to the abdomen of the lycan, only for the beast to dodge it. Elena starred in fright and concern for her father's safety. Gun pointed at the two with uncertainty while her form trembled in fright. She was about to squeeze the trigger until another Lycan came out and tackled her down to the ground, while simultaneously knocking the gun out from her hands .
"Elena!" Both Ethan and Leonardo yelled in horror. Leonardo was about to rescue her, but the Lycan that attacked him swung its claws at him. Forcing him back. Ethan immediately went to her aid, but was interrupted by two Lycans blocking him in the front and back.
"No, no, no, no, no-PLEASE!" Elena's cries for help as she tries to get the Lycan off of her. Ethan grits his teeth before he ducks underneath a strike, rolling over his shoulder, and uses his last bullet to save Elena. The bullet went through the beast's head, splattering a bit of blood on the ground and onto Elena. It went limp on its side, making Elena scream in shock and panic. Squirming frantically away from the Lycan as far as possible. Ethan let out a relaxed sigh, thankful that he managed to save her in time, but that was short lived when he felt one of the Lycans had jumped onto his back.
"Ah! Fuck!" Ethan cries at surprise and shock, before instinctively leans forward a bit and slams the Lycans back to the ground. The beast whines in pain and loosen his grip on Ethan, making the man break free, grabs his knife, and stabs the head. Killing the monster.
Ethan turns his attention back to the other lycan, shouting in pain as the Lycan tackles him down. Ethan manages to shift his momentum from the attack, wrestling the beast to the ground a bit. He manages to get on top and punches the Lycan's snout. He did this four more times before he picks up the Lycan and saw a pair of eyes on the other side of the fence. So, without thinking, he knees the gut of the Lycan before using it as a battering ram. The two managed to break the fence and tackled down the newly arrived Lycan, while disappearing in the tall, thick wheat field. .
Back to Leonardo and Elena, Leonardo had just managed to kill the Lycan before quickly coming to his daughter's distraught form.
"Elena? Elena, are you ok, girl?" Leonardo said in concern, only for her to ignore him and just stared at the dead Lycan with tears in her eyes. Her entire form is shaking, her breathing is erratic, and words are nowhere to be found. Leonardo brought her into his arms, encasing her in a tight -but reassuring- hug. His Daughter's tears stained his clothing as he whispered reassuring words to her ear.
"You're safe now, Elena...You're safe now. " Leonardo whispered, gently stroking her back.
Elena sobs on her fathers chest for a brief period of time, contemplating the thought that she almost died on the spot if it weren't for Ethan. Eventually, she gets a hold of herself and releases the hold before the two snap their heads to the wheat field. Seconds later, Ethan emerges from the fields, his knife on hand and his white shirt is stained with blood. His breathing was short and heavy, while his coat was covered in dirt, mud, straws, and blood. He cast a glance at Leonardo and Elena before nodding his head. He went to them and cast a concerned look towards Elena.
"You ok?" Ethan asks her, getting a nod in return. He then looks at Leonardo and notices the hard -but grateful- look that he sends to the blonde man. The Blacklight wielder saw it and gave a nod in welcome.
"We need to get to that house. Can you guys walk?" Ethan asks them, seeing them nod in confirmation. Leonardo was the first to stand up then Elena followed. Ethan look around for a bit and saw the LEMI near the fences. He walked towards it, picking it up and inspecting it for a brief moment. After that, he went in front of Elena and tried to give the LEMI back to her, only for Elena to gently push Ethan's hand away. Ethan sent a confused look, and saw her shake her head in rejection.
"I think you can find a better use for it than I can." Elena stated, making Ethan want to argue that she needed more than he does, since she nearly got mangled by a Lycan if he hadn't shot it. That, and the fact that he can pretty much take care of himself thanks to the Blacklight virus. Though, the thought of him admitting that sent a horrid wave of distaste in him. Nonetheless, he wanted to push the matter.
So he tried once more, only for Elena to give her own hard look, surprising Ethan a bit.
"I'll be fine as long as I stay close to my father." Elena said in a hardened, yet reassuring, tone towards Ethan. Ethan took a moment before reluctantly nodding.
On The Front of Luiza's Gates
Leonardo then grabs her hand and the three make their way towards Luiza's house. Soon, the entire field was now drowned by ear-deafening roars, making the three of them run faster until they are to the gates
Leonardo didn't waste any time and immediately tried to open the gates, only for the gate to be locked tightly. He stared at it with disbelief before trying again.
*CLUNK*
*CLUNK*
*CLUNK*
Looked.
"No….no, no, no!" Leonardo yelled in frustration, panic, fear and anger. He tried again, and again, and again but the gate remained strong. Elena took hold of her feather, who was just basically hitting his fist to the gate at this point, pulling him back and trying to get him under control. After a few moments from his outburst, Leonardo slid down to his knees and lets out a whimper escape his lips as he felt a few tears trickle down his cheeks.
"It's closed. The gates are...fucking closed…!" Leonardo said- almost in a borderline whisper in defea. Elena just stood there for a second, lowering her knees and trying her best to comfort her father. Ethan just looks at Leonardo's hunched form. Completely defeated as the one place that they could be safe is out of reach. He saw Elena sent him a 'what now?' look as she too was devastated by the revelation.
Truth be told; Ethan doesn't know what to do, either. Hell, he didn't know what to do ever since he arrived at the village. With all his initial plans now in ruins, he was practically going around blind. His only hope was with Elena, Leonardo, and the other survivors of the village. Hoping they can provide some answers on what happened in the village. Maybe even give him some clues on where his daughter is in the village.
Rose…
What if she isn't in the village?
Ethan still has that lingering doubt in him. But he had to ask himself; what now? What happens if Rose isn't in the village and is somewhere else? Was she ok? Did Chris and his men take her while he was unconscious? He just doesn't know. But he knew that he won't stop until he has Rose safe in his arms.
Ethan snaps his head when he hears the howls of the pack.
"Shit. They're coming." Ethan said, turning his back from the father-daughter duo and gripping the LEMI on his hands.
"What are we going to do?" Elena asks the blonde, before Ethan takes a glance around the area and spots a shed.
"In there!" Ethan said, before coming to the realization that if they went inside the shed, they would have been swarmed to the brink with Lycans. He looks at the two and knows that they wouldn't stand a chance against the horde. So he has a plan.
Both Leonardo and Elena immediately went to the shed without a second thought, and were relieved that the door was unlocked. They didn't take a second to waste and went inside. Elena, however, stops as she realizes that Ethan didn't went with them. So, turning back to the blonde foreigner, she saw that he stood there at the entrance of the shed, refusing to move.
"Ethan, what are you doing? Come inside." Elena said as she went to Ethan. Not understanding why Ethan is not going in.
"I'm not going to hide. I will stay outside and try to fend them off." Ethan stated, making both Leonardo and Elena look at him like he was mad.
"What? Ethan-You'll die!" Elena yelled at him as she tried to pull him inside, only for Ethan to pull back.
"Look, there are too many of them out there and if we just hide inside here, they would find us. " Ethan said, handing over an axe to Elena. "I'll lead them away from you guys as far away as possible. Or maybe lessen the numbers enough for you guys to be safe."
"Boy, what you are saying is complete madness." Leonardo growled at him, knowing the fact that he doesn't like Ethan because he is an outsider. But even if that's the case, it doesn't Leonardo that comfortable with the man's sacrifice.
"No." Ethan stated. "Look, it's my fault that they are after us. If it weren't for me, then you and your daughter would have arrived here a lot safer." Ethan finished, and was then about to leave, but Elena grabs his hand and Ethan turn to look at Elena. Her eyes held out a full stray of emotion for him to reconsider his choice right now. Concern, hope, and fear were one of the few that he can tell.
"Please, Ethan, you have to reconsider what you're saying." Elena said in a soft and frightened tone. Even though she just met him and knows NOTHING about the man, she won't just stand here and let him sacrifice himself because he held blame for what happened. Ethan stared at the young girl for a bit, before steeling his resolve by pushing her away from him and closing the door. Elena was in shock for a bit before opening the door. When she did so, she noticed that the door wouldn't open. She tried again but the same thing happened.
"Ethan? Ethan!?" Elena said, shaking the door frantically, but it wouldn't budge. Outside of the shed, Ethan manages to block the door with several pieces of wood and rope. Forming it into a cross and the rope tied to the doorknob.
He released a sigh at this, thinking that this is the right choice to do at the moment. He turned his head back to the wheat field, and he saw four Lycans snarling in his direction. Ethan gulps before walking in front of the gate. He momentarily stops, however, when his feet hit something on the ground. Looking down, he notices that it was the machete that Leonardo had been using to fend off the Lycans. He releases a 'hmm' before picking the weapon from the ground. At this notion, one of the Lycans roared in hunger and charged towards the blonde, only for Ethan to react quickly by instantly side-stepping, while simultaneously swinging the machete to the neck. Decapitating the monster's head.
He look at them with a new found determination and saw them charge at him. Ethan manages to duck under a claw from the Lycan in front of him, striking another lycan on his right by using his left fist and using the machete to strike the neck of the first Lycan. He then sends a Spartan Kick to the abdomen of the third on his left, launching the Lycan to a tree. Barks and pieces of chips of wood exploded on impact, watching the body dropped on the ground, lifeless.
As Ethan was about to turn around, the second Lycan attach itself on his back, surprising the blonde before Ethan grabs hold of the Lycan and slamming it to the ground. Forcibly removing It from his back and making a dent to the ground and shattering the pelvic bone of the Lycan. The beast whimpers in pain before Ethan switches his grip to the head, and gives a harsh twist. Separating the spine and the twenty-seven muscles that connect it to the rest of the body.
When the Lycan's decapitated body fell limp on the side, Ethan turned around to see several more Lycans growling at him, while he was holding the head of the dead Lycan. They snarl at him with fury, making Ethan give his own glare. Grabbing the machete from the dead Lycan, he looks at the group then throws the head to them, making a statement.
And it worked.
The Lycans roared before charging at him with fury. Ethan throws the machete to one of them, the blade embedded to the head with a great amount of force. Another went in swinging it's rusted axe towards the blonde, only for Ethan to dodge it at the last second, grabbing his knife and repeatedly stabs the throat.
The blonde man then grabs the Lycan and hurls it to the pack. Knocking down a few Lycans down on impact. Ethan charges in the pack, dodging as match as he can, before grabbing one Lycan by the throat and viciously slamming it to the ground. The Lycan body crumbled by the force behind it, internally decapitating it and the head exploded seconds later.
Ethan cried in surprise when one Lycan manages to get a hold of him from the back. Breaking from the clutches of the beast, he slams the Lycan to the ground before stomping the face. Stings of biomass came out from the leg and consumes the Lycan's lifeless form, effectively reguivanting Ethan's body.
Grabbing the machete, He turns his attention back to the rest of the pack. Dodging an attempted attack, he swings the machete to the neck of the Lycan. Blade going clean through the vulnerable area of flesh and bone. As the Lycan's severed head flew off, he looked to his left and saw one of the Lycan coming at him with It's jaw open. Thinking quickly, Ethan ducks down, grabbing a hold of the Lycan once it is above him, and tosses him to four more Lcyans.
He then pulls up the machete and uses it to deflect a Lycan wielding a one-handed axe, chopping off the head of the beast once he gets a clear shot. Ethan lets out a vicious roar of his own as he continues to chop down as many Lycans as he can.
Punching, kicking, slicing, basically using as much of the hand-to-hand- techniques that he learned for the past three years. Pretty soon, the pack are warrily around the blonde man, not believing that one mere human is able to kill as many of them as possible. One by one, more Lycans fell down to the ground on the blonde man's feet. Killing an astonishing ten to 11 Lycans.
But even with the advantage of the Blacklight virus, plus the three year military training that Ethan had learned, the numbers game would catch up to him, eventually.
One of the Lycans managed to sneak up to him and tackled him to the ground, making Ethan shout in surprise as he manages to regain his balance and digs his feet on the ground.
"GET OFF ME!" Ethan yells, as he tries to grab the Lycan from the shirt, only for another to claw his back. The sharp claws ripped through the fabric of his coat and shirt, blood dripping down his body while more and more Lycan's started to surround him.
One becomes two...
Two becomes six...
It keeps going, and going until Ethan's entire form is surrounded by Lycans. Feasting on him. Tearing him apart piece by piece. Blood gushes out as they continue to rip every fibre of his flesh.
Back With Leonardo and Elena
"GET OFF ME!"
Elena's eyes widened in shock and horror. The sound of Ethan's voice made it to her ears as she heard the monsters' growls and howls, followed by the numerous thuds of footprints of the pack coming near the area.
Elena couldn't move.
She didn't dare mutter a word as she hld he hands near her mouth. Shifting her gaze towards her father, she saw his grim expression as he shook his head in dismay and irritation.
"Elena, come here." Leonardo said quietly, carefully walking to his daughter to make sure not to attract the horde. As he grabs his daughter, Elena shuts her eyes as she much as she can and silently sobs and sends a prayer to Ethan's supposed death.
Back to The Fight.
Ethan wanted to scream. He really wants to, but he can't.
Trapped within a pack of man-thirsty, flesh-eating wolves with the inability to scream, the blonde foreigner can only do so much. His flailing strips of skin scattered within the compress of blood and gore. Solid taste of iron weighs heavily within his taste buds, his vision obscured in the pile as the vicious writhing movements of their jaws rip apart his clothing, his flesh, his organs, contorting his body and bones in unorthodox angles before snapping them in half. Ethan can feel every ounce of his strength leaving drastically, even as his will stays a lit, his body couldn not. He could hear nothing except his own beating heart within the grizzly carnage.
*BU-BUMP*...*BU-BUMP*...*BU-BUMP*...
Ethan hates it….
*BU-BUMP*...
*BU-BUMP*...
He finally got a break from all of this….
*BU-BUMP*.. *BU-BUMP*...
Him and Mia...They can be free from all of this shit. Be a normal family once again.
Sorry Ethan…
*BANG*
*BANG*
*BANG*
Flashes from last night projected in front of his eyes, gunshots echoed in his head, and the familiar sting of betrayal and anger resurface within him. Ethan wanted to scream and get payback at Chris. Made him feel what he felt when he put lead into his wife and kidnapped him and Rose. Ethan can feel the rage piling in him as they gave that bastard their trust, their friendship -and this is how he repays them?
As Ethan opens his one good eye, the world has slowed down. His features were barely describable within the carnage. His vision is obscured with thick crimson and unfocused, but enough for him to see.
The howls of roars of Lycan echoed throughout the area, but Ethan didn't care. Within the tiny gaps of fur, blood, flesh, and bone was a figure standing there in a short distance. A figure that Ethan barely- but surely -recognizes. The black leather jacket, plain blue jeans, leather shoes, off-white and wrinkled button up shirt, and the beige hood obscured the eyes, but Ethan can see a smirk on his face.
Alex Mercer.
*BU-BUMP*BU-BUMP**BU-BUMP**BU-BUMP**BU-BUMP!*
Wearing that bastardized smirk of his, watching Ethan being consumed by the horde. Ethan didn't know whether if it's the blood loss or his own head was messing with him, but seeing Alex's form there, lying, waiting, watching. His very presence alone taunted Ethan so much. The blonde man felt his rage grew, and grew, watching Alex's smirk grow every passing second before he saw him release a chuckle at him.
*SNAP!*
That did it.
Ethan's lone eye shuts for a bit before snapping open with fury. His sky-blue eye were consumed with nothing but glowing red, the rage within his veins were nothin but scorching. His biomass was wildly acting with his emotions, short -but noticeable- tendrils flailing around before the gap was closed.
As the Lycans consume him, Ethan lets out a loud and viscous roar, before erupting out from the pack. Lycans flew away as Ethan's roar of rage and hatred engulfs the entire area.
WITH ELENA AND LEONARDO
"What was that?" Elena asks as she and her father huddled in the corner as the carnage rage outside. Leonardo, holding tightly onto her, looked just as confused but he didn't dare move. The father-daughter duo can stay there in disbelief and in shock. The roar they're hearing was man-like, but at the same time, near beast-like.
Elena, however, has a spectacle of hope in her that maybe Ethan had managed to survive. But it was small and filled with doubt thanks to the fact that NO ONE had managed to take a pack down in a group- let alone one person.
Soon, the entire shed shook violently, surprising and scarring the two. What came next was a series of cries, whimpers, and roars, echoed beyond the confines of their 'safety'.
"What is happening?" Elena asks in fright.
"I don't know." Leonardo stated as he and his daughter sat tight within the shed. Holding onto her tight while gripping the axe on one hand.
In Luiza's House
Within the confines of the safe house, several survivors turned their heads when a roar was heard from outside.
"What the fuck was that?" A gruff and slurry tone of a man holding a buff said, looking alarmed as he looks around.
Julian, the person who was the look out for the survivors, came running into the room with slight exhaustion.
"Julian, what is happening?" A woman in her late thirties asks as she approaches the man.
"T-the monsters… they're outside. And something is happening to them. " Julian said, confusing and shocking the entire group. One is the Lycans are just outside of the gates, and the other was the fact that something is happening to them.
"What are you talking about, you prick!" The same voice from earlier said in a drunken slur.
"Anton!" Luiza said in a firm tone, before shifting her gaze back to Julian.
"Julian, what are you saying?" Luiza asks the man, but before he could mutter a word, several roars and howls interrupted them. Causing everyone to be silent as the imminent feeling of fear entered their souls.
Back with Ethan
Everything was a Massacre. That's what the Lycans can describe it. Numerous bodies of their kind were littered throughout the area, the stench of blood and decay were heavily evident in their nostrils as well as the initial feeling of fear and dread as they look at their 'prey'.
Ethan viciously stomps on one of the Lycans, his feet caving into the chest before his biomass starts to consume the body. Ethan's vision is nothing but red as he dodges another strike, retaliating with his own by grabbing the arm and ripping it apart. Ethan swings the severed arm like a bat, he hits the Lycan before he throws the arm away towards another Lycan. Grabbing the Jaw and then the upper portion of the head, he applies force and literally separates the head in two with his bare hands. Turning back to the Lycan from earlier, he shoves his fist to the chest, the sickening quench as his fist went through the chest as Ethan held the beating heart of the Lycan in his palms.
Crushing the heart in his hand, his biomass consumes the entire Lycan, regaining his strength before he charges at the pack. Sending all of the Lycan in his path flying away as he then grabs one and smash the Lycan towards Luiza's gate, denting the bars, breaking the wood, and passing through the gate. Ethan didn't let up, though, and began to pound the Lycan's skull to a literal bloody pulp. Biomass spread through his body, before he stood up and charged at the last remaining Lycans.
The monsters took a step back in fright as they couldn't stop Ethan's rampage. Some of the Lycans even manage to escape the bloodshed out of fright, knowing the fact that they are facing a predator that is a lot stronger than them.
Once predator becomes prey. And there is no stopping Ethan.
As the carnage goes on, Ethan feels his rage start to subside. His vision started to clear up. And the adrenaline started to waver. Beneath Ethan's feet were the bodies of countless Lycans that are unfortunate to be in his path. Coated from head to toe with blood and gore, as several strands of biomass started to consume what's left. His physical appearance returned long ago in his fourth consumption, his hands grip the machete and a severed torso of one of the Lycans. His breathing was heavy, his head felt light as helium, and his fatigue had caught him. So without much of a thought, he collapses on the ground with a 'thud', his eyes fluttering as the last image that he sees is Mercer walking towards him.
Soon, his vision turned black.
A/N: ANNNNNNDDDDD THAT IS IT! Man, that took a lot longer than I expected. But, nonetheless, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this chapter, and I'm sorry that it took quite a bit of time to do this since I'm was editing some parts out, and trying on some new writing approach.
Like, getting my grammar better, writing descriptively, and god-know that I need to expand my vocalbularly. But what do you guys think? Am I slowly improving? I leave that up to you, guys.
Ok, so, on to the other topics, it's been a couple of weeks since the voting on what would Ethan's bio-weapons are.
Claws: 2
Shield: 1
Own creation: 1
So that is it, claws are the winner of the vote and if I be honest with you guys, the weapons wouldn't shown up until the future chapters, since Ethan needed to consume a special case mutation for him to unlock it. Though, I would say that it would be near now after this chapter. I'll say two or three chapters from now. Plus, it wouldn't matter if it is claws, shield, blade, etc. etc. It wouldn't matter since the outcome would be the same for what I have in store for Ethan and his journey.
Another topic that I want to talk about is the shipping. Yes, this is the very thing that have been driving me crazy for a bit. Ever since I have announced what you guys think I should ship Ethan with, some of you said Donna, some of you Bela, and one of you guys' said Miranda. All are good choice, but there is one that said maybe no shipping. Though, I don't want t repeat what he said, he does bring up some interesting points on the cons on putting a ship here. But a part of me still want to have a ship for Ethan in the story, or maybe a sequel to this if i felt like making one but I also agree that maybe it's a bit too soon to have shipping in this. So I put it on hold. For now, that is.
Ok, so that is it for the chapter, I hope that you all enjoyed this and maybe leave a comment on what you guys think and leave some criticism if you guys like, as long as they are respectful, honest, and NOT offensive IN ANY KIND OF WAY. Peace!
