She hate wolves , ever since her sweet little brother Henrik was mauled by Werewolves she hated them , she will not outright kill everyone she met but she tend to be less patient more violent with the best of them .
She love Nik , and with her brother come his wolf side which she had accepted begrudgingly at first but she came to care for it because it means too much to Klaus , she learned to respect wolves from living with and befriending Hayley , and visiting the Bayou younglings .
She had started to warm up to the crescent wolves , something she would have never imagined happening a century or two ago .
But it was all crushing down before her eyes , with her family peace and happiness , her world came to halt as Hayley last sentence reverberated in her mind knocking the breath out of her body .
She wasn't sure of her own reaction , but Across from he Finn was gaping in utter disbelieve , Marcel chocked on his drink , and Davina looked Dazed , Kol was looking at Hayley like she had stripped out of her clothes and was singing the hallelujah before hurt and anger crept into his expression , Bonnie looked confused and Scared , while Elijah grip on his armchair tightened and it nearly shattered to pieces as he stared at Hayley with a startled look , but what worried and sent shiver of dread down her spine was Klaus reaction .
Klaus took a deep inhale and a vein twitched in his cheek as he demanded in a velvety soft voice , " run that by me again love ! " .
Hayley took a deep breath before looking away from Klaus eyes and repeating in a less confident tone , " I Will Mary Jackson " .
Kol made kenning sound , while Elijah shoke in his seat , she shivered once sh looked into her brother eyes , something in his blue eyes snapped and they shifted to a color he hadn't seen ever before a mixture of black , amber and blood red , black veins were spreading across his neck but somehow , by some unknown power he found the will to fight his boiling , fuming rage .
There was fear and apprehension in Hayley's eyes for the first time as she looked at Klaus and that seemed to wound him even more , Klaus eyes were lowered for a second and he recoiled as if struck before he straightened back slowly and looked up to meet Hayley's worried and determined Gaze and uttered two words blankly , " my office " .
He didn't wait for Hayley's replay and stepped slowly to his office , everyone stared after him with incomprehension , his hands were fisted so tight that his nails dug into his flesh and blood sipped into the floor leaving a trail of blood after him , Hayley's pale face turned paler and she uncrossed her arms before hurrying after Klaus .
" I swear I heard Hayley say that she will marry the mutt ! ". Kol said with a disbelieving chuckle .
" She did " . Marcel affirmed with a shaky laugh , " you think she was joking ?" .
" no , I don't believe she was ! " . Elijah who looked as pale as death replied as he loosened the tie around his neck . he stood up and stormed out of the compound .
" Hayley has gone mad " . Davina declared tearfully , " she is going to leave us for her wolves , won't she !? " . she asked worriedly , and Kol flow to her side , he gathered in his arms as he fretted ," Don't cry V , please for the love of torn hearts don't cry ! " . he begged her .
Bonnie's eyes filled with sadness as she refuted Davina's word's , " I think she is being pressured into this by her pack " .
Silence hang heavy in the air for a few minutes , before she broke it by looking between her Siblings and demanding , " well , how are we going to sabotage this engagement ? " .
" we kill Jackson , easy as that ". Kol stated matter of fact , " no groom , no engagement , no weddings " .
" I'm surprised to learn that she is engaged in the first place ! " . Marcel said with a shake of his head and a lost expression .
" we should have expected something like this to spring up , Hayley has warned us that arranged marriage's is common with wolves of her status " . Finn retorted with a tired pinch to his nose .
Davina wiped her tears with her hands and straightened up as she suggested angrily , " what are we waiting for ? , let just go find him , I will melt his brain for his audacity " .
" No" . Finn ordered firmly stopping them and Halting their conversation , he looked them all in the eyes and ordered them , " we will do nothing ... " . she , Kol , And Marcel tried to protest but were stopped by a raised hand from Finn , who emphasised firmly , " we will do nothing , this is between Niklaus , Hayley and the crescent , it has nothing to do with us " .
" the hell it doesn't " . Kol sneered .
" Hayley is family Finn , she is Hope mother " . she protested angrily , " of course we should interfere " .
" you said it yourself , she is Hope mother , shouldn't we leave it to Hope father to sort this out !? " . he asked them meaningfully .
She blinked her eyes confusedly and looked between him , Marcel and Kol who are sporting looks of downing realization , " You want to push Klaus and Hayley Together ! " . Kol stated and asked at the same time causing her and the girls to gap at the three men in confusion and astonishment .
" wait ! , what do you mean ? " .Bonnie asked Finn warily .
" think about it " .Ginn urged them , " if this wasn't enough to make Klaus make his feelings clear to Hayley nothing ever will " . Finn pointed out and they nodded begrudgingly .
" what if he doesn't ? " . Davina asked worriedly , " how would we Handle her marrying Jackson ? , a man she clearly doesn't love as more than friends " .
" if push come to shove , we can easily dispatched him , but we should worry about Elijah ! " . Marcel assured and reminded them .
That brought them all to halt , Elijah's infatuation on Hayley was a common but ignored fact , secretly they were all hoping that he will move on fin another woman to draw his attention without bringing conflict into their newly recovered family , but alas , seem like they will be facing another fight between her two closest Brothers over a woman Affection .
" leave Lijah to me " . Finn stated calmly , " I will straightened him up " . he promised before leaving to follow their brother .
The rest of them exchanged wary and conflicted look's as they shared of their worries that their family will be fractured apart in this difficult times , with enemies surrounding them waiting for the slightest chunk in their armor. The first opportunity to pounce and destroy them .
Hayley POV :
She followed Klaus into his study with her heart hammering in her chest , she has never being this scared this nervous around Klaus , not even when she had tried to run away with Hope and he intercepted her , she knew deep down that he won't hurt her even if she had betrayed his trust he had punished her severely but he had still forgiven her .
But now standing in the middle of Klaus study watching his back as he squeezed his eyes and tried to get control over his emotions , she was scared that she had crossed another line , broke his trust , he had given her the same look , like she has strapped him in the heart .
" Klaus ! " . she called him apprehensively .
His eyes snapped open and they were bitch black as he crossed the distance between them in two steps , and took hold of her arm's in iron grips , " why !? " . he asked her in a whisper his voice was full of agony that brought tears to her eyes .
" it's my duty " . she responded tearfully , " They need my help , my new found powers , marrying Jackson will ensure that they are to survive the coming fight's " .
" do you love him? " . he asked her fearfully , " do you want him as a husband ? " .
Tears sprung to her eyes as she was reminded of Jackson lifeless corpse held on her arm's and she sobbed as she replied , " I love him , he is my family , but , I don't want to Mary him or anyone " .
Klaus Looked at her with a lost expression , " Then don't , you don't need to marry him or anyone else ". He assured her .
" I can't , " . she mouthed , " if I refuse then I will be turning y back on them " . Hayley stated , " you told me that I'm a Queen that I need to regain my birth right , we need an army to protect Hope , when I marry Jackson we will have the crescent and I will free them forever " .
Klaus gritted his teeth as he stressed every word , " we don't need the crescent , they can wllow in the Bayou for eternity , you owe them nothing ! , they are the one's who owe you everything , their lives included ".
" it doesn't matter , one way or another I will be expected to marry , it's our way , better it be Jackson than some strange alpha " . she tried to reason with him .
Klaus exploded , there was no other way to describe him but that he irrupted into a fit of rage like she has never seen before .
He flung the heavy out the window through a wall and into the courtyard with furious growl , then he followed it by a chair that found itself shattering in the fountain in the court yard , she shouted in alarm and could hear , Hope scared screams from her nursery followed by Rebekah's voice trying to calm her down , but Klaus didn't stop ,the seemed possessed as he trashed his office and let out Dark Shout's that made the hair in her body stand up in fear . " I will ripe him to shreds before I let him have you , I will kill everyone of them before I let them take you from me " .
She looked at the ragingmad hybrid in front of her with fear and disbelieve as she called out to him , " Klaus ... Klaus " . he didn't stop , he didn't even seem to hear her as he stormed out of the compound , she moved to follow him crying out his name but was stopped by Hope shrill screams and the pull of the sirebond , she tried to fight it off just so she can stop Klaus , stop him from massacring anyone , especially her back but she was weak against Hope needs and found herself moving in the other direction responding to her Daughter call for comfort .
The Bayou :
Klaus POV :
He was on a blood bath , that was the best way to describe the murderous march he was on , he can't wait to reach the crescent encampment and get his hand on Kenner . he will tear his heart out and feast on it , that filthy Dog , the dreged mutt that doesn't know his place , and is now trying to take his mate from him , never .
Once upon a time ... No ... A few month's ago he would have stormed into the encampment and massacred everyone , but he was preparing to take over his birthright and become an alpha , and as that he has rules and protocols to follow , as much as he desired to just to kill Jackson he can't storm off and kill him as the magot was an alpha too , not without causing a political strive .
Thankfully the cold air blowing on his face as he vamp speed into the Bayou has cooled his temper enough for the red haze to recede a little , enough for him to remember the Werewolves traditions and laws that he chose to abide by them , they well get him Jackson head mounted on a pitch , without the political repercussions that doing so will had on him and his family , his fierce expression was replaced by a bloodthirsty grin as he picked up speed .

Elijah POV :
Married , Hayley was to be married , political reasons or not . she had accepted Kenner's proposal , he was losing her and it's not even to his brother , but to that filth infested overreaching mutt , who doesn't even deserve to be near her , let alone to marry a woman like Hayley .
Hayley Who outstripped any woman he met before in kindness and graciousness , he felt him before he heard his footsteps on the roof of the building he was standing on watching over the city , " Brother " . Finn called out to him with a sigh .
" Here to nurse my broken heart , brother ? " . he questioned sarcastically . Finn chuckled and put down a box Between them , he took out two Tumbler's and passed him one after filling it with ice and a strong whiskey .
" ah , the pain of being the oldest brother I fear , I always have to pick you all up , you never had a chance with her , and you knew it , you don't need to be particularly preceptive to know that they are meant to be " . He flinched at his words and a part of him rebelled even if he knew it to be true , Finn continued on his reproach like he didn't notice , " you were recklessly playing with your heart " .
He chuckled Darkly before answering him , " I never wanted too , all I have intended was to preserve our legacy , protect Hope who she carried , I couldn't resist falling for her " .
Finn hummed , " she is beautiful , caring , and courageous , things we all look for in all our relationships , but she was Klaus's first and foremost , the two orbit eachothers. He love you but he love her too " . he stated matter of Factly , calmly and clinically shattering his heart further . anger bubbled inside him but soon it give way to despair , " she doesn't love him too , guess both our heart are fated to be wounded " . he stated bitterly .
Finn took a deep gulp of his spirit and nodded in agreement , " yours and Jackson's certainly , she love Nik even if she doesn't know it yet " . he replied with a sad nod .
He raised his half empty tumbler , " at least I had a thousand years of experience to get over it , I should count myself lucky " . hr chuckled Darkly , voicing out his thought he knew that the two had strong unbreakable connection even before Hope was born , he never stood a chance he knew it but he still held up Hope , " he should thank his star if he get to keep his heart in Hus chest " . Finn snorted , that managed to pull a smile from him but it died down a little .
" your one will come someday brother , and if I know as wall as I believe , she will be fierce and chaotic and bring life to your dull and monotone soul " . Finn prayed with a sympathetic smile , that turned mischievous , " until then let's Cherish watching our Arrogant brother fumble and strive for his love , Hm ! And Feeling the approach of a predator , just as he opened his mouth to order a scout least a dangerous animal was circling them , the words were stuck on his throat when a man made his way out of the shadow , his eyes blazing amber .
Everyone turned to check the newcomer to determine if he was a threat , when the cloud dispersed and the moonlight lit the wolf face , it was Klaus Mikaelson face . pale , stony , and his eyes were filled with the list for Blood , and he knew that Hayley must have shared her agreement with him and the Hybrid is here to dissolve it .
No , he had persuaded Hayley to agree with difficulty , it had taken all his effort and reasons to convince her , and he won't let the Hybrid break them apart ." Mikaelson " . he greeted, seizing the opening and asserting dominance over their face down .
" Kenner " . the creature responded icily before stepping further and approaching him , he was surprised the older wolf wasn't shouting or attacking him yet , instead he was bring civil Even , " Alpha's " . he greeted the surrounding wolves politely , " Alpha Mikaelson " . they returned warily .
" how can we be of help ? , I hope that Hayley and Her Daughter are well !? " . he started emphasising that Hope is Hayley's and that I don't acknowledge him as Hope father .
Soon she will be his step daughter and he will be a better father figure for her than Klaus could ever be , he will treat her as if she was his own . his words draw the Alphas attention and they turned to him with askanced look's , instead of getting mad as he expected him too , a wide mad grin broke across his face as he nodded , " oh , you will be of a great help to me , he hissed before turning to the other alpha's and linking his hands behind his back as he addressed them , " my friends you know that I'm knew to the alpha position and is not as deeply immersed in the wolves customs as you all are , and if this custom is solely of my Brethren's then correct me please , now , when a Wolf purpose to a shewolf he should obtain her family consent , and he should never pursue a shewolf that was a spoken for , and especially if she had a child he should strive for the father blessing , yes !? " . he asked with Dark jovial time .
He cursed silently as his eyes nearly popped of Hus eyes , Mary's hand flow to her chest and she shoke , both of them not expecting the Hybrid to know of this customs , the alpha's exchanged looks and murmured between themselves , before they answered in acquiescence .
Alpha Jeremy , Alpha Valarie alpha , Xavier exchanged shrewd looks before alpha Xavier asked him calmly , " are we to understand that you are here to challenge Alpha Kenner in justice combat for ... !? " . he trailed off expectantly .
Klaus gaze returned to his and he spoke coolly , " I'm here to challenge him for pressuring the mother of my child and my suitor into marrying him for her birthright , I demand he retake his claim and apologize or face me in a duel " . Klaus declared with a challenging look that made his blood boil .
He opened his mouth Ready to accept but was stopped by Mary again who pulled him back as she stepped up and asked him coldly , " if your word's are true , then why did Hayley accept Jackson proposal ? " .
" of course she will accept when you frame it as her duty to save your people from being extent by marrying your grandson , that she will be breaking your families alliance by refusing " . Klaus sneered hatefully .
His grandmother didn't back down as she argued , " so you acknowledge that Andrea and Jackson had been engaged since she was born , don't you think it should be us demanding that you back don't from your pursuit ? " .
" you have no prove that an engagement was agreed upon in the first place , there is only your claim , Hayley has no desire to marry your grandson without the obligations of duty , and as long as I draw breath she will never be forced into anything " . He knew that he can't take on the hybrid , he was a normal wolf , more powerful than average but no match for a thousand years old original , but he can't back down , backing down will mean losing Hayley , and that's unfathomable to him , he took a deep breath and replied ," I accep... " .
He was cut off by Elder Gareth who gave Klaus a distasteful look as he interfered , " I witnessed when the previous Alpha and Xavier Dumas had agreed on the engagement , more than half the pack remember the announcement made by the two lines , if Andrea doesn't want to hold up to her father word then she she should have said so instead of sending you to created this unnecessary Drama " .
Klaus eyes narrowed dangerously on Gareth and even thought hr was angsty with the man for his constant demeaning of Andrea but at this moment he could have hugged him , "mine and Hayley's engagement is a personal matter between us , as you see it's true and as it's I demand that you back down from your pursue of my Fiance " . He Growled out vindictively .
The creature face twisted into unbridled rage that had him take an unconscious step back , what surprised him was that they others alpha's looked upset by this development and Alpha Clarke and alpha Jeremy were exchanging displeased looks . Klaus stomped toward him and at that moment he was sure that the Hybrid who had just appeared infront of him in a blink of an eyes and left him up by his neck was going to kill him , he struggled against the Hybrid steely grip as the man cut his airway with a growl , the wolves moved to help him but were stopped by Klaus dark hiss , " whoever move to help him will be forfeiting their life's to me " .
" Mr Mikaelson , please let's discuss this matter civilly " . alpha Valarie urged him as everyone stepped back worriedly .
" no , I will either end his life or his engagement to Hayley , I will not be pursued otherwise " . He shouted savagely .
" Niklaus " . A powerful voice came from the woods , commanding and authoritative with a hint of fondness , " will you please let Mr keener down , we need him alive for our negotiations after all " .
Klaus grip loosened and his angry expression was replaced by surprise as he let him go and he fell to the ground coughing and inhaling deeply trying to fill his deprived lungs with air , he looked with teary eyes at the eight figures stepping from the wood , proceeded by a middle aged wolf with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes that was clearly a powerful alpha even if he had never meet him before , " Father ! " . Klaus greeted with surprise and joy .
Alpha Clarke sputtered and alpha Jeremy chocked on his spite as they both bowed their heads respectively to the calmly walking wolf who moved to Hug The Hybrid , " Niklaus , my dear son " . the man greeted cheerfully .
" Father " . Klaus who still looked surprised and taken back returned .
The Hybrid father who must be the infamous Ansel poldark patted the back of his son head affectionately , " what Happened to your political sense ,to parge in like that on an allied pack . you are a thousand years old and still act like you're still twenty five " . he reproached Klaus who only grinned at his father , Ansel shoke his head and moved in to greet the bowing wolves , " my friends please enough with the courtesy's " .
" alpha poldark it's an honor to have you with us " . alpha Clarke greeted respectively .
" alpha poldark , welcome into our territory , you have our hospitality and our our good will as long as you had came in peace " . Mary welcomed him warily , and with clear respect .
" thank you my friends , it's good to be part of our world and community once again , Elder Dumas , I thank you your hospitality and I will promise you mine and my kin respect and abidiment with our law's " . Ansel poldark replied politely with a smile that was not too warm or too alienating .
He smiled as he looked between him and his grandmother and Elders , " I will make thus short as my we had came from a long journey and I miss my son and desire to meet my Granddaughter , we as the north east applicant mountain pack and our allies stand behind Niklaus claim of regarding Andrea's engagement , and we will only renew our peace treaty and ceases of blood feud with a labonair alpha not a Kenner Alpha , but you can never call me unreasonable in two days time I invite you all into ..." . the alpha trailed off and looked at His son expectantly , " The abattoir " . the smugly and joyfully smiling Klaus finished for him . His eyes flared angrily and he looked at his grandmother waiting for her to decline , but instead she inclined her head obediently as she accepted , " we will be happy to attend " .
Alpha Clarke exchanged a few word's with the other alphas before he addressed the older alpha invitation , " we will be happy to accept your invite , we too have much to discuss with you and your pack " .
Alpha poldark smiled and nodded , he wrapped an arm around Klaus shoulders and guided him out of the Bayou with a kind , " we will be waiting for you at four then " . his eyes twinkled with mischievous deviousness as he urged his son loudly as they left , " come Niklaus show me my future beautiful daughter in law and my granddaughter , that sound quite nice don't you think Eliza " .
The woman who came with him smiled deviously , " certainly , but who do you mean ? " .
He grinned widely and his eyes twinkled , " daughter in law of course , I never had one if those before " .
His silent twitchness and anger turned to open fuming especially as Klaus let out a loud amused laugh , not soon enough they left his territory , he glared at his grandmother angry at her inaction and easy submission before he stormed away to brood .
Mikaelson Compound :
Hayley POV :
Hayley packed around the second floor veranda , thankful that the family was giving her the space she needed as she worried herself sick , her stomach was cramping and her heart was seized with nervousness and tears were about to spill at any minute .
She felt awful , guilty and sad . this is her first fight with Klaus in years and the first serious fight in this life , and she worried that he would be controlled by his black rage and his jealousy of Jackson replacing him in Hope live will drive hi to kill her friend .
She looked into the nursery where hope had was sleeping in her crib with a pout and red cheeks , it had taken her a herculean effort to put her to sleep after Klaus flip of sanity as Bonnie summarised , but she was sleeping peacefully now .
Her phone vibrated in her pocket and she knew it was either Clarisse or Eve calling to complain but she was too stressed to answer , and to be honest a part if her doesn't even want to know what Happened .
She had agreed to Jackson proposal with utmost grudge , if not for her guilt and duty to her people she would have never remarried again , especially Jackson and spared the two the grieve ... Her thought came to swift end as she heard Klaus voice as he invited someone in , she vamp speed to him with a shout of , " Klaus !? " . it was a question , a plea and apology at the same Time in one word .
Klaus caught her in an embrace as he breathed her name with a tender brush of his lips on her temple , " Hayley " . it was apologetic , sad , and tender .
" did you ... ? " . she asked him fearfully , and he shoke his head with a sigh , " sadly he live , an atrocity if you ask me " .
Hayley sighed in Relive and followed Klaus accusing Glare and a smile bloomed in her face as she flung herself at the older wolf who only deigned to roll his eyes at his son childishness , " I gave a child as a heir , joy " . he snarked , then he caught her in a fatherly affectionate hug , " ah , Andrea NY dearest , how have you been !? " .
She pulled back and smiled at him and replied happily , " I'm fine , it's so nice to have you with us again " .
" see , here is someone glad to see me . Andrea my sweet girl you are too good for this insolent son of mine " . Ansel sighed in lament .
" would you do us a favor and just enter father , your dramatis are getting tedious " . Klaus snarked back .
Ansel sighed and gave her a put upon and wounded look that he pulled admirably , " see , what kind of abuse I suffer at the hands of NY offsprings , the shame , my poor old heart is being grumbled ... " .
Hayley laughed out loud as Klaus Groaned and laughed as well , " father , please , enough " .
Hayley pulled Ansel inside as the father and son duo continued their gabbing contest , hey met with Bonnie who looked between her and Klaus apprehensively before her eyes fell on Ansel and lit with curiosity , " hello " . she greeted the man politely and he smiled kindly at her , " oh hello you must be young miss Bennet , I'm a greet admirer of the way you trounced my son here " . he complimented .
Bonnie's eyebrows flow up with shock before a grin lit her face , " you're Klaus Dad " .
Ansel smiled amusedly as he answered her , " yes , I'm " .
Bonnie spun on her feet and run inside with a mad grin , soon enough they were surrounded by family members all eager to meet Ansel , He hugged Rebekah affectionately , " beautiful Becky , how have you been ? " . he asked her gently .
" I have been will " . she replied happily , " never happier actually " .
Kol looked at Ansel with fascination as he greeted the man politely , " Hello , Nik father sir , it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance " .
Ansel beamed at him and leaned closer , " Kol my favorite of my son Half brothers , I would like you to know that I approve of your plans of corruption of my beloved granddaughter , as long as it's executed moderately " .
" Ansel ! " . she gasped in shock , Ansel only grinned and excused , " a little bit of mischievousness is welcomed in any child don't suffocate her spirit " . he advised wisely , a smile broke in Kol face as he warmed up instantly to Ansel , followed by Davina and Bonnie , as the four chatted the werewolf up , Marcel stood by Klaus asking him for confirmation and clarification for the four time's . " That's you Da ? " .
" yes , Marcel , for the fifth time he is my sire " . Klaus drawled back .
" you sure man ? " . Marcel asked again seriously.
" yes " . Klaus Growled lowly .
" well , he is a step up from Mikael , well excuse me while I go and meet my grandfather ". He stated with a smirk .
" from the scale of one to ten , how much will I be embarrassed ? " . Klaus asked her with a dreadful tone .
" a solid ten " . she stated happily , relishing in Klaus groans .

I cut the chapter into two I thought that Ansel deserve a chapter if his own ,
Ansel is here , and he will be giving Esther , Mary and Jackson a piece of his mind . I just had to work out the wolf united assembly .
