Chapter 1: The First Transformation

(Bellwood)

"Hahahahahahahaha!" Feeling triumphant, D'Void (in his Null Void attire) stands on his mutant frog. In front of him are Gwen Tennyson, and Kevin Levin on the ground with bruises and cuts on them received from D'Void's army. Normally, the mad scientist would go with a single animal theme for a scheme like this; however, on a whim, he decided to break into the town's zoo and mutate practically the whole place. Because of this, not only is his army much larger than usual, but much more distinct, giving Gwen and Kevin (who were holding down the fort for Ben and Azmuth) trouble.

"Ben Tennyson is smart to decide to run away, because I, D'Void, ruler of animals am unstoppable!" yelled D'Void, seeing a news helicopter fly by to record the event.

"Who said I ran away, Animo?" stated a well-known voice. Growling, D'Void, and his Mutant Animal Army looked at the source along with the news. Stepping out of the smoke on top of a building is no other than Ben 10.

"Tennyson! It doesn't matter. You're outnumbered 100 to 1." stated D'Void.

"Who said I'm alone?" smirked Ben. Stepping out of the smoke are Kaz, Chase, Jack, and Kim, but not in their usual clothes.

"That's right, you wacko!" Kaz is wearing black jeans, black sneakers, a black T-shirt, and a black version of Ben's jacket, except the black circle is white and the white 10 is replaced with a black 20.

"Your endeavors and experiments are an insult to the science community!" Chase is wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue version of Ben's jacket, except the 10 is replaced with a 30.

"Thanks for giving me a refresher on why I haven't visited a zoo recently, paleface." Jack is dressed like Albedo, except the 10 is replaced with a 40.

"Using innocent animals and mutating them for your own gain… you're not a scientist, you're a monster!" Kim is wearing a yellow t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and a yellow version of Ben's jacket, except the 10 is replaced with a 50.

"Ah, I see you brought some backup. Well, you are going to need it. My army, ATTACK!" yelled D'Void, his army approaching the building our heroes are standing on.

"Remember how to transform?" asked Ben to make sure they don't fight blind. They nodded yes, and selected their forms. They jumped off the building.

"It's Hero Time!"

Fissures appeared under Kaz before he become submerged in the earth under him. Suddenly, a large pillar rose from where he stood before shattering, revealing…

"Hard as the Earth! Elemental HERO Clayman!"

~Chase's Transformation Sequence~

Chase folds his arms while behind him, an earth pillar rose, the Subterra emblem on the side. Soon, it shined, a large brown gladiator-like armor forming in the light… before falling unceremoniously onto Chase. However, instead of a splat, a Styracosaurus-like roar is heard before the armor starts rising while the earth comes out of the gaps. Soon, it shatters, revealing…

"Saurus!"

~Jack's Transformation Sequence~

He suddenly got on all fours as a brown mace-tipped tail grew out of his pants. He shuts his eyes, his head morphing into a T-Rex-like head before he lifts it, roars, and spins around to show…

"Bash!"

~Kim's Transformation Sequence~

Kim grew crystal wings on her back before she turned completely white. She grew lavender claws that look like crystal. A gem appeared on Kim's forehead before her hair shortened and turned into lavender crystals. The camera zooms into her eyes as she blinks and her eyes turn reptilian. The camera zooms out to show…

"Flashwing!"

~Ben's transformation sequence~

Crouching, Ben grew a tail out of his pants while the sun shined harshly on him, burning his clothes and hair off, and darkening his skin. Suddenly, it turns into scales while Ben starts growing up to 12 feet and looks up, showing…

"Humungousaur!"

Landing, the team straightened up before facing Animo, the sight of the extra 'aliens' shocking everyone viewing the news.

"Who are you?" asked D'Void warily. Elemental HERO Clayman stepped forth.

"We are… the Galactic Defenders!" announced Clayman. Exchanging looks, the others decided to go with it because of how much Kaz is a superhero fanboy…plus, the name's actually good.

"It doesn't matter who you are! My army, ATTACK!" yelled out D'Void while his army charged.

"Galactic Defenders, ATTACK!" ordered Humungousaur. Nodding, they charged in as well to counterattack.

"This power is AWESOME!" laughed Clayman, kicking away mutant porcupines without feeling any pain thanks to his armor. Hearing trumpeting, he looks back to see a herd of mutant elephants charging toward him. Feeling unafraid, and using his knowledge of earth-powered heroes, Clayman stomped the ground. Nothing seemed to occur… for a few seconds until one by one, earth pillars erupted from beneath the elephants' faces, knocking them out while standing. "Hope you liked that faceful of dirt!"

"Let's see which era's heads are the most durable; modern, or Cretaceous!" smirked Saurus, dragging his leg on the dirt like Bree did when she needed to kick it up a notch. The mutant rhino in front of him responded with a snort, mirroring him. They stared down… until roaring as they charged headfirst at one-another. Once they collided, it became a struggle… for the rhino when Saurus uplifted his whole body with the horns alone and threw it onto a bask of mutant crocodiles before they could enter a broken open manhole, sealing it. "Heads, I win!"

"Here I come!" Ignoring the plethora of battle cries entering his mind, Bash used a single one when he rolled into a ball, knocking down mutant flamingos and ostriches before they could peck him or anyone close by. Uncurling, Bash chuckles… before smacking away mutant armadillos with his tail. "BATTER UP!"

"WOOHOO~!" Similar to Ben's first experience as Stinkfly, Flashwing found flying amazing and free, almost like she's being one with the one. Sadly, her enjoyment was interrupted when a sonic screech almost hit her. Flinching, she looks behind to see a flock of mutated— "Toucans? Really?!" Shaking her head, Flashwing ascended, dodging more sonic screeches until she reached the clouds. Smirking, she turned, her forehead gem shining before firing a tornado of amethyst, catching all the toucans chasing her before bringing them down. "A shining victory!"

"Seriously Animo? This guy again?" Groaning, Humungousaur grappled with a yeti. Unlike the last time he battled one, this one lacked a headband.

"Do not mistake this for redundancy Tennyson! I've learned from my mistake. Unlike last time, there's nothing for you to use to turn the yeti against me this time; no headband, no chip, no—" D'Void's rant stopped when Humungousaur released the yeti briefly, grabbed one arm, and spun in the air to arm-lock the yeti into the ground. Roaring, the yeti tried to release himself… only for a tail to smack him into unconsciousness.

"You were saying?" smirked Humungousaur, getting up and wiping his hands off. Stunned, D'Void looked around, his shock increasing at how easily Tennyson's new teammates are handling his army, eventually leaving him with only…

"Alright, my pet, you are my only hope… CRUSH THEM! CRUSH THEM ALL!" screamed D'Void, jumping off his frog, which Humungousaur couldn't help but notice how bright it looks…

"Careful guys, that's a golden poison frog, one of the most toxic animals on Earth! An average one has enough poison to kill 10 adults and there's no known cure!" warned Saurus, getting his teammates on guard. D'Void clicked his tongue, his secret weapon exposed.

"Thanks for the heads up!" nodded Humungousaur, uprooting a streetlight and spinning it, deflecting the darts the frog's spitting.

"Let's see how froggy likes this!" shouted Clayman, stomping the ground and bringing up another earth pillar… which the frog dodged… and let hit—

"AGH— MY NOSE!"

"Sorry!" slumped Clayman, watching Saurus stumble while covering his snout; if he was human, that attack might've taken his head off.

"No you don't froggy; the sky's my turf!" scowled Flashwing, firing amethyst shards from her tail. The frog responded by spitting darts, the projectiles knocking down the shards.

"Whoa— whose side are you on?!" shouted Clayman, stumbling through the falling darts and shards.

'Man, we gotta work on our team skills.' Seeing this made Humungousaur wish he made this team sooner. Shelving his regrets, he let the shoot-off (the frog jumping to get brief equal footing with Flashwing) distract D'Void, analyzing the area. Coming up with a plan, he looked at his unoccupied teammates.

"Bash, Saurus! (they huddled) Listen, while Animo's pet is distracted, I need you two to follow my lead. Jack, use some debris to swap places with Kim. Chase, I might not know much about Herpetology, but I need you to find something to dissolve the poison. I'll deliver the final blow, you got that?" asked Humungousaur.

"We follow ya." Nodding, Bash rushed toward some building debris before smacking his tail across one, batting it toward the frog. Screeching and landing, the frog shakes its head before glaring at Bash. Bloating, he prepares to fire an extra-large dart when…

"HEY KERMIT RIP-OFF! HAVE A DRINK ON ME!" Saurus crushed a fire hydrant, then flattened his palm against the stream before redirecting it to the frog, shutting it and forcing it to swallow its dart. Immune to its own poison, it slowly steadied itself… before being knocked down by a streetlight.

"Bad frog." chuckled Humungousaur, the team gathering before glaring at D'Void. Gulping, the mad scientist turned to run… only for his cape to be caught by a shard and two sheets of the earth to trap him.

"You lose," smirked Flashwing, landing before reverting. The others followed her lead.

"That was… AWESOME! Our first ever superhero fight!" grinned Kaz, high-fiving Chase, then Jack.

"While I'm happy for your dream coming true, but how are we supposed to return home? I'm pretty sure our families are worried about us," asked Chase, who got his answer when a Plumber Ship landed in front of them. Exiting it is none other than…

"Grandpa?" blinked Ben. Max chuckles at his reaction.

"Need a ride, everyone?"
