Ben: About over a week.
Kaz: And over three years for this story?! The **** man?!
Omarnosian10: Sorry, but considering this is my only project to focus on original stuff like plots, season antagonists, character development and other stuff, you can see why this took a while.
Chase: Would this have anything to do with your laptop getting slower recently?
Omarnosian10: …Yes.
Kim: Why don't you just buy a new one?
Omarnosian10: Which ones?! Do you know how many stores there are and how many kinds of laptops there are?! Not to mention I don't know when there'll be sales with them in the deal!
Kaz: Whoa, calm down man.
Omarnosian10: *calmly breathes* Needed that. Plus, with Grammarly recently added to my Chrome, I had to work over some mistakes I made. Enough of this. ON WITH THE SHOW!

Chapter 10: Just What The Doctor Ordered
(Mighty Med)
"How is he, Horace?" asked Oliver worried. He and Skylar sit on a couch in the waiting room when Horace exited an infirmary.
"Well, the good news is that he won't die. (Oliver and Skylar blankly stare) The bad news is that leg-wise, he won't be able to perform any physical activities for a few days; otherwise, the knee will just (snaps fingers) snap like a twig. (they wince) I trust that you two will keep an eye on him until his recovery." nodded Horace, looking at Kaz's medical report.
"We will. Thanks for checking on him, by the way." thanked Oliver. Horace nods.
"Horace. (takes out a piece of Apollo Underworld ring) Have you seen anything like this before?" asked Skylar curiously. Horace takes it and examines it before shaking his head.
"I'm sorry Skylar, but I haven't seen anything like this mineral before, (Skylar looks down) but I'll see if any other superhero knows about this," assured Horace while putting the piece in his lab coat.
"Alright. Thanks anyway." thanked Skylar as she enters the infirmary with Oliver.
'I hope the others are having better luck.' thought Skylar as she closed the door.
(Outside Friedkin University)
"Can you detect anyone's mana, Gwen?" questioned Ben. Gwen holds the ring piece in her hand. Her eyes glow pink while Kevin is napping in his room back at his workplace.
"Yeah. The mana it has is coming from (glares at Ben) you," answered Gwen suspiciously. Ben facepalms.
"Of course it has my mana, it was in my pocket!" clarified Ben. Gwen nervously laughs.
"Oh yeah. (shakes head before focusing) Well, for some reason, I can't detect the person's mana, probably because of the distance, but the only thing I can detect is that the person was using power similar to a To' Kustar." explained Gwen.
"But that's impossible. If there was a Way Big there, any of us would've noticed it," noted Ben. Gwen shakes her head.
"I said similar. And what kind of power does Way Big use?" asked Gwen. Ben's eyes widened.
"Cosmic Energy. (Gwen nods) Come to think of it, I did hear a rocket before we found Kevin, so that would explain it." noted Ben.
"That answers your question. (eyes stop glowing) Now if you excuse me, (gives the piece back) I'm going to the library to keep up on my studies." informed Gwen, going into the college. Ben sighs before activating the Ultimatrix, searching for Jetray. He hopes the others are having better luck.
(Davenport Lab)
"So the metal is made from silver huh?" noted Chase, looking at the piece through his telescope.
"Yeah… Although that's the only thing recognizable on this… Where did you find this, anyway?" asked Donald as he grabbed the piece and took a closer look.
"Let's just say that we got a mystery savior." simplified Chase, not wanting to get too detailed.
"Makes sense. The universe already has one Douglas too many." joked Donald, referring to the time when Douglas saved Chase in the Arctic.
"I HEARD THAT!" yelled Douglas from under the tarps, doing a maintenance check on the Galacticycles.
"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO!" yelled Donald.
"CAN YOU STOP YELLING?! YOU KNOW I HAVE BIONIC HEARING!" shouted Chase, covering his ears.
"Sorry." mumbled the brothers softly.
(Logan High)
"So there I was, mano-a-mano with Ghost Rider with a crippled knee." started Kaz in his crutches as a small crowd of girls followed him, interested in his story.
"Uh, can you believe that Skylar?" groaned Oliver as he leans against his locker.
"Hm? Believe what?" blinked Skylar as she looked up from her phone.
"Were you even listening to me? (Skylar nervously shakes head) What were you searching up anyway?" questioned Oliver as he looked at Skylar's phone, seeing search results for 'Ghost Rider'.
"I was hoping to find out how he made Kevin crack like that but so far, I've come up with nothing." sighed Skylar, turning off her phone.
"Don't worry. If what Kevin said about Ghost Rider is true, then I doubt something like this would happen again," assured Oliver. Skylar nods.
(Rustbucket 3)
"(yawn) Why did you call us at (looks at the digital clock on a monitor) 2 in the morning?" whined Ben as the Galactic Defenders, excluding Kaz, walk into the vehicle, all in pajamas and barefooted, too tired to change out.
"Yeah. (rubs eyes tiredly) A girl needs her beauty sleep." yawned Kim cutely, wearing a yellow nightgown.
"Well, this might scare you out of sleep." warned Max on his chair as he turned on the monitor, showing the Mighty Med graveyard.
"A graveyard? (tiredly blinks) How is that gonna—" paused Chase as a black/purple arm rose from a grave, followed by others. Climbing out of the graves are black/purple deformed zombies.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" screamed Kim as she jumps into Jack's arms, whose eyes are widened in fright.
"I'm awake! I'm awake!" yelped Chase as he held his ears in pain.
"What the heck was that?!" asked Ben, leaning against the controls with his heart pounding.
"You see, during a patrol, one of the guards discovered a source of Corrodium buried deep within the graveyard under Mighty Med." started Max.
"What's Corrodium?" questioned Jack. Chase and Kim also look confused.
"It's a radioactive space rock that mutates anything living close to it without special protection," answered Ben for his grandpa.
"Shouldn't Kaz be here?" asked Kim.
"And risk worsening his injury?" questioned Chase rhetorically. Kim looks sheepish.
"But how are we gonna get that stuff without mutating?" questioned Jack.
"With these. (takes out Hazmat discs) Level 5 Hazmat Suits. They can protect you from the Corrodium's radiation." answered Max while handing them out.
"What if we transform?" asked Chase curiously.
"Don't worry guys, I've worn one of these before. The suits will stay on when we turn back and our forms are immune to Corrodium," assured Ben, recalling his battles with Zs'Skayr's forces. Sighing in relief, the other Defenders with Ben put on the Hazmat discs and activate them. However, much to their annoyance and/or amusement, they're color-coded.
"Is everything given to us going to be color-coded?" groaned Chase as he examines his blue suit.
"Yes," answered Max straightly. Chase groans again.
"I don't know, I kind of like it." grinned Kim, looking at her bright yellow suit.
"I would've preferred white or green, but this would do." shrugged Jack, indifferent about his red suit.
"Green is already taken." retorted Ben smugly, folding his arms over his green suit. Jack rolls his eyes.
(Mighty Med Graveyard)
"Is it just me, or are our latest adventures getting more based on supernatural?" questioned Ben as he, Chase, Jack and Kim walk through the cemetery with flashlights in hand.
"What are you talking about?" asked Jack as he looks over some tombstones.
"A few days ago, we were fighting a demon that was a myth. (starts counting fingers) The week before, we fought a werewolf hybrid, at night, which matched the theme, and a few days before that, Chase and I fought a sorceress in her home dimension." counted Ben. The others gawk at that.
"Alright, if the next adventure we have is based on the supernatural in any way, shape or form, I'm dying my hair purple." dared Kim. The males slowly nod.
"Chase, can you detect the Corrodium anywhere?" questioned Jack. Chase shakes his head.
"Unfortunately no. The radiation that Corrodium emits isn't listed in any Earth database." sighed Chase.
"What about the Plumber database?" asked Ben. Chase pauses before face-palming.
"On it. (eyes flash blue) It's that way." pointed Chase towards the right. Everyone changes course. A few minutes passed before groans echoed in the air.
"Um guys, do you hear something?" shivered Kim.
"That means we're getting close." frowned Ben grimly.
"Why do I have a feeling this is gonna be a long night?" asked Chase.
(Lunason Residence)
"Zzzzzz…" snored Kaz, laying in bed. Unlike Ben, he is clad in a superhero onesie with a cast on. A buzzing sound arouses him from his sleep. Groggily, he grabs his phone and sees a message and a video link. Confused, he plays it. The video is live footage of his team.
"What?! They're adventuring without me?! …And what the heck is that?!" screamed Kaz, seeing his team unaware of something. Alert, he sat up, wincing as the leg hit the ground.
(Mighty Med Graveyard)
"Hm? (takes out phone) Hello?" replied Ben.
'Where did he get that from?' thought the Defenders, confused.
"LOOK BEHIND YOU!" screamed Kaz. Ben pulled his phone away at the volume.
"Kaz? Why are you up and what do you mean look behind…" trailed off Ben as he did so, seeing a horde of zombies in ripped guard uniforms stalking towards them.
"Um… good zombies?" said Kim, her zompyre dream fresh in her memory.
"Uh, Ben… any chance these guys retained their minds?" asked Chase nervously.
"No, and don't worry, after the mutation wears off, they won't remember what happened during it," answered Ben, assuring everyone.
"Since we're in a graveyard, it looks appropriate to use some 'Undead' power." quipped Jack while activating his Skylatrix. Kim rolled her eyes playfully.
"You got a good point, Jack." grinned Ben as he activated the Ultimatrix.
"That'll work." nodded Chase as he and Kim activated their respective Matrices before they all slammed down the dials.
~Split Transformation Sequence~
~Ben's transformation scene~
Ben started rapidly losing body fat, becoming skin and bones before tentacles sprung from the Ultimatrix and covered him except for his hand which turned into a skeletal claw. The tentacles uncovered him and recovered his hand, showing grey skin with black cracks before the tentacles receded into his skin, showing the hand to be in the same skin. The Ultimatrix symbol formed on his chest.
"Ghostfreak!" gasped the Ectonurite.
(Chase's transformation scene)
A purple-bladed, bony, black scythe came out of Chase's palm before he pulled it out and spun it. He sprouted black skeletal wings with purple edges on his back before he turned. His pants and shoes turned into black armor with purple joints. Black/purple striped horns sprouted from his head while his flesh receded. Chase turned again, showing his arms in the same condition as his legs, and his skull-like head with blue eye sockets. The Bakutrix symbol formed on his chest.
"Reaper!" roared the Darkus Bakugan.
(Jack's transformation scene)
Jack's sleeves phased out of his arms before it, along with the jacket, became a long, black cloak with the hood on his head. The wind blew his cloak high, revealing a spiked shoulder guard, a dark brown strap across his torso, spiky dark brown bandages on most of his left arm, and black gloves with silver studs on the dark brown wrist bands. He set his hands forward as a bone-like scythe is summoned into it before he waved it downward, replacing his pants with a dark brown cloth, brown belt, spiked dark brown bandages on most of his right leg, and black boots that are similar to his gloves. Blue flames burst from all over his body, burning away his flesh until all that was left is his skeleton, which has the scythe on the back. The Skylatrix symbol formed on his belt.
"Grim Creeper!" laughed the Undead Skylander.
(Kim's transformation scene)
Kim starts raising her hands in prayer as a few souls came out of the ground. Her eyes glowed yellow as one of the souls entered her mouth, turning her skin pale blue, and her hair and nails black. The other souls got onto her clothes like slime and began morphing them into a black dress hanging on a choker, a headdress that has red diamonds (shape, not jewel), and black web-patterned sleeves from under the shoulders. The Skylatrix symbol formed on her stomach.
"Hex!" cried out the Undead Skylander.
~End Transformation Sequence~
The zombies growl as Reaper and Grim Creeper armed themselves.
"Defenders, Attack!" cried out Ghostfreak as he swooped towards the zombies
"Your Time is Up!" proclaimed Grim Creeper, grabbing his scythe. He slashed at a few zombies before throwing the scythe, letting it spin in the air. The zombies that neared it got cut. It lasted a few seconds before returning to his hand, the zombies limping to the ground. He roared before an ethereal specter left his body and clawed a few zombies. Once it flew a few meters away, the Living Armor went to work, taking down the zombies that were marked in order.
"Be Afraid of the Dark!" exclaimed Hex, firing a Phantom Orb at a zombie, destroying it. Seeing more surround her, she grins, aiming her arms at the sky, letting loose a Rain of Skulls that knocked away nearby zombies.
"RRRAAAAAGGGHHH!" roared Reaper, cutting through the horde. Unlike Grim Creeper, Reaper's attacks are wilder and filled with anger. Where that anger is coming from, he doesn't know, and right now, he doesn't care. So lost in his rage, he didn't notice when he almost beheaded Ghostfreak if the Ectonurite hadn't turned intangible.
"Hey, watch it! (Reaper ignores) **** it Chase!" swore Ghostfreak. Staying intangible, he flew over to Reaper and slapped the Bakutrix symbol, turning him into Anchorsaur and snapping him out of his daze.
"What the… (turns to Ghostfreak) How'd you—" started Anchorsaur.
"Survive now, talk later," ordered Ghostfreak. Anchorsaur nods and unsheathes his claws, attacking the zombies. Sighing, Ghostfreak punched a zombie without looking as he gazes at a horde.
"Looks like I got no choice but to try something new. There's a time to go hero, and a time to go Ultimate!" declared Ghostfreak, slapping his symbol before four prongs in an X formation came out.
~Ultimate Transformation Sequence~
Green cloth lashes out of the symbol before covering Ghostfreak's body, becoming a straightjacket with his crack pattern. Suddenly, two purple/black striped tentacles sprouted from his back, ripping through the cloth. Green chains bursts from his lower body and arms, exposing a purple/black striped 'tail' and skeletal claws, the latter ripping open the cloth on the face, exposing an upside-down skull.
"Ultimate Ghostfreak!" screeched the hyper-evolved Ectonurite.
~End Ultimate Transformation Sequence~
Lifting his arms, Ultimate Ghostfreak commanded the chains to restrain the horde before smashing them together. Rearing his claws, he aimed at them. After a few moments, nothing happened.
"(groans) It looks like this new guy lost telekinesis. (feels sensation in his throat) Oh boy." grinned Ultimate Ghostfreak as he let out a belch of ectoplasmic energy, blasting away zombies.
"Grrr… it's like there's an endless supply of these guys! (slashes zombies before howling is heard) What the—" paused Anchorsaur as two zombies prepared to jump him, only to be cut away by a grey blur. It then stopped in the middle of the Defenders, all huddled.
"Kaz?!"
"Hey, guys." grinned Zombie Werewolf nervously.
"What are you doing here?! You're… crippled?" asked Hex as the DARK Monster shook his uninjured leg.
"Lucked into this. Looks like Zombie Werewolf can heal faster than a normal human can." explained the Zombie-Type Monster.
"Still, that was incredibly reckless of you!" scolded Creeper.
"…Jack, didn't you win a tournament against the Black Dragons with a crippled leg too?" asked Hex. Her boyfriend somehow blushes.
"If you think that was reckless, you should've seen me when I fought Captain Nemesis with one arm… or Clancy when I caught a cold…" reminisced Ultimate Ghostfreak.
"As fun as it is to see you all nostalgic, shouldn't we finish these guys off?" asked Anchorsaur, snapping them out of memory lane. They nod before standing side by side.
"Galaxy Death Cross!" declared the Defenders. Hex started with a Rain of Skulls. Creeper followed by sending a blue energy slash with his scythe, cutting all but one of the skulls, the others becoming confetti-like and surrounding it. Zombie Werewolf and Anchorsaur scarred it before swatting it to the zombies while Ultimate Ghostfreak lets out another Ghostly Wail, having the 'confetti' follow the skull and give the image of a screaming skull. The attack exploded in the middle of the horde, crippling them.
"Looks like that's all of them." sighed Ultimate Ghostfreak. He then devolved before reverting. The others followed his lead. Reacting, he took out the spare Hazmat disc he had and slapped it on Kaz's chest, activating it.
"Dude, what's the big idea?!" cried Kaz, rubbing the spot. "And what's with the new threads?"
"Jack and Kim will fill you in. Chase and I are gonna have a small talk," said Ben, dragging his blue teammate away. As the red and yellow Defenders explained the situation, Chase turned to Ben, confused.
"You're wondering why Reaper was in your first playlist," explained Ben. He had similar thoughts when he first used Grey Matter or Alien X.
"Of course I do! As soon as I changed, it felt like all this anger came out of nowhere and hit me! What was Azmuth thinking?! Why would he even have that guy in this watch?!" yelled Chase. Ben gulped.
Flashback
"What about this one?" asked Ben, pointing at an image of Darkus Reaper. He's in Azmuth's lab, discussing with the Galvan about which forms to put in the Dueltrix, Bakutrix, and Skylatrixes. Looking over the data, Azmuth frowned.
"Are you sure that is a good idea, Benjamin? This Bakugan reminds me too much of your Ectonurite form," warned Azmuth.
"Which you had no problem putting in my first playlist." countered Ben. Even after six years, he still felt sour about the whole Ghostfreak incident. Azmuth winced. OK, he deserved that, even after restoring Ghostfreak.
"Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you."
Flashback End
"No idea." lied Ben nervously. Chase looks at him strangely before dropping it. As the team huddled, Kim lagged and noticed something.
"Guys… you might wanna see this," called Kim. Curious, the males followed and looked down a large hole to see steampunk robots mining Corrodium.
"Ben, have you fought these guys before?" asked Jack, everyone hiding behind some boulders.
"Sorry, but this is a new one even for me," answered Ben.
"Well that's just great," said Kaz sarcastically. Chase quickly shushed them as a figure approaches the robots.
"What's the matter?" asked Kim. Chase only shrunk his pupils as the figure stepped into the light.

"That's Samuel Smythe, he was a laborer at one of Mr. Davenport's factories until he disappeared a few years ago," answered Chase.
"Well, I guess we know what happened to him." jested Kaz.
"Looks like he's mining the rocks from under the graveyard," observed Jack. Suddenly, a zombie came charging down at the robots. And judging from the skinniness, it's a reanimated one.
"Eliminate," ordered Smythe. The robots turned their gauntlets into miniguns before firing at the zombie. Once they finish, there was nothing but dust.
"Da~ng." winced Kaz.
"Ben… are any of our forms bulletproof?" asked Kim nervously.
"Well, I have a bunch, Inzektor Centipede comes with shield and bulletproof armor, Robotallion is the same and doesn't feel pain, Jack has Terrafin and Ignitor, and Kim can use Smolderdash or Gearshift." listed Ben.
"Those will work." agreed Chase.
"Too bad you won't live long enough to use them." They dodged a fire blast and bullets.
"How'd he know we're here?!" gawked Chase, putting up a forcefield.
"Did you really think I'd leave the only entrance to this place unsupervised?" taunted Smythe, pointing. They look to see a few crows wearing glowing purple necklaces and a monocle.
"Stupid." scolded Ben to himself.
"Smythe, what happened to you? You were one of Mr. Davenport's most valuable workers," asked Chase, shielding his teammates.
"Bah! Of course, he wouldn't let the public know. Very well, I'll tell you. (pacing) You see, like your father, I too am an inventor of sorts. However, rather than advancing today's machinery, I sought alternative methods to power them so the buyers won't need more of it. Unfortunately, my boss, one Jacques Eiling doesn't like my ideas. He doesn't care about the buyers, only the money, which was why he sabotaged the machinery I was working on, turning me into a living furnace! Because of his influence over the public, he kept them from finding out what he did and made me a 'Missing' person. Well, no more! With this suit and these drones, I shall have my revenge!" declared Smythe. The Defenders were speechless and disgusted.
"And that gives you a right to put other people in jeopardy?!" asked Ben.
"They are merely stepping stones to my accomplishment. Once I have my revenge, I will revolutionize the present to bring back the past, when no one tried to scam the consumers! Drones, advance!" declared Smythe. The drones began shooting at the forcefield, bringing up a cloud of smoke. Smythe laughs, believing himself victorious, until green compressed air blasts hit the drones, blowing them away.
"So you became a typical villain, lame!" chimed Water Hazard's voice before a stream of water came out of the smoke and hit two drones. Growling, Smythe ran deeper into the cavern.
"Where do you think you're going?" asked a nasal voice before a centipede-like shield was thrown through the smoke, soaring to Smythe. Two drones blocked the impromptu projectile.
"Aw, you missed." taunted Water Hazard. Soon, a torrent of water wiped away the smoke, revealing him, Inzektor Centipede, Ventus Robotallion, Terrafin, and Gearshift.
"I didn't miss! Those buckets of bolts got in the way!" countered Centipede.
"Just go after the NRG reject," ordered Water Hazard, shooting down more drones. There are fewer drones then there were zombies earlier, so they finished quicker.
"I just realized something… How would mining Corrodium help him get revenge?" asked Robotallion. Before anyone could reply, tremors shook the cave.
"I think we're about to get our answer," said Gearshift. They left the cave, looking over it. Rising from the ground is a large bronze excavator that looks like the one from Batman: Arkham Knight with the blades glowing purple and steam pouring out of the back.
"Behold, my Smythe-a-Tron, my greatest invention powered by the stones I unearthed." laughed Smythe through speakers. Water Hazard blinked. Huh, so he doesn't know about Corodium? He can't decide if that's good or bad.
"That thing is huge!" gawked Terrafin, watching the machine burrow through Mighty Med's floor.
"Kaz, don't even think of making a 'that's what she said' joke!" warned Water Hazard. Centipede pursed his lips shut.
"How are we gonna stop that thing? It looks bigger than those mutant elephants we fought." dreaded Gearshift.
"The first step is finding out where the Corrodium is kept so we could shut it down. One of us has to go inside after getting hit so he wouldn't get suspicious while the rest of us keep his attention," ordered Water Hazard. His teammates look at each other before one steps forward.
"I'll do it."
"Kaz?" gasped Robotallion and Gearshift.
"Are you sure about this? (Centipede nods) Well OK. Defenders, attack!" ordered Water Hazard loudly, propelling himself with water. The others followed. Once they got close, flying weaponized drones came out of the smoke, some shooting bullets while others are armed with chainsaws.
"Did you really believe I would have this machine undefended?" asked Smythe smugly.
"I was kind of hoping so," remarked Water Hazard, blasting some drones.
"It's Feeding Time!" roared Terrafin, throwing punches at drones. He had to hold in a scream as the chainsaws cut through his knuckles slightly.
"All Geared Up!" cried Gearshift, firing Mini Gears at the drones.
"Ventus Hex!" shouted Robotallion, using a basic Ventus Ability as he blew the drones away, deactivating them with less damage.
"These guys are really bugging me!" punned Centipede, cutting drones down with his shields' blades. Once he got close to the Smythe-a-Tron's glass screen, the blades started dripping with venom before he leaped at it.
"Oh no you don't!" shouted Smythe. A turret popped out of the machine before shooting at Centipede.
"KAZ!" screamed the Defenders, watching their black teammate get shot down. He got sent through some rubble, hiding him. After a few moments, a greenish-grey liquid started seeping through the cracks. They gasped. It isn't fake. Kaz is…
"You're gonna pay for that, you steampunk creep!" roared Water Hazard, slapping the symbol and turning into Rath. Roaring, he jumped onto a drone, using it as a springboard while tearing the others apart. Angered, the others followed his lead, hoping to avenge their fallen comrade.
(Inside the Smythe-a-Tron)
"HA! With one Defender down, the others should be a piece of cake!" laughed Smythe, having set the machine to autopilot.
"Make that zero!" Surprised, he jumped away in time to dodge a concussive blast. Spinning, he sees Dragunity Javelin soaring towards him, spinning. Growling, he caught the improv drill, slowing it down until the Tuner Monster stopped, exposing small scrapes.
"A feint? Clever," commented Smythe before throwing a punch. Javelin attempted to flap away but fell victim to it due to being captured. Flying to a wall, he forcibly reverted, sliding under machinery.
"Seriously?" groaned Kaz, looking at his momentarily red Dueltrix. Scrambling away, he hid behind a console as Smythe looks for him.
"Out of all these Defenders I've researched, you must be the weakest of all. You have no special skills outside that watch, you have low grades, and you spend your free time reading comic books or playing videogames, never participating in extracurricular activities. How do you think you can defeat me by your lonesome?" monologued Smythe smugly. After failing to reactivate the Dueltrix, Kaz curled into a ball, shame filling him.
Smythe's right. He doesn't have Ben's leadership skills and experience…

Looking over himself, Kaz's eyes fell onto the control console.

Kazimieras Lunason may not be all those things, but that won't stop him from helping his friends!
From helping the others stop Smythe!
From being as RELIABLE AS HE CAN BE!
Like the Ultimatrix the previous night, the Dueltrix reactivated itself, selecting a new form and giving off a bright black glow.
"Found you!" The console around him exploded right when he drew. Waving the smoke away, Smythe laughed. Expecting to see a burned body, he inspects the machine, only to be greeted by a black-gloved fist.
"Round 2, Metalhead!" insulted a voice. Floating out of the smoke is Elemental Hero Neos, except he's around Kaz's actual size, the usual blue is replaced with black and his core is replaced with the Dueltrix symbol.
Elemental Hero Neos is a Level-7 LIGHT Attribute Warrior-Type Monster, with 2500 Attack Points and 2000 Defense Points.
"A new form, then? No matter, you cannot shut down the Smythe-a-Tron without my voice command!" laughed Smythe. Clenching his fist, Neos glared at the cyborg.
"I don't need some Scraphead when I got what I want!" declared Neos, pointing at a floorplan, specifically, the circled 'steam room'.
"Egads!" gasped Smythe before lunging at Neos. The Elemental Hero countered, entering a small grappling contest. He quickly won it, tossing the cyborg to the controls. Flying through the glass screen, he breaks through it and lets the others see his form.
"Is that Kaz?" questioned Robotallion. At Rath's nod, the new teammates grew envious/excited. While they're happy for Kaz, it's slightly tainted with how jealous they are that he got the 11th form first.
"LEMME TELL YA SOMETHING ELEMENTAL HERO NEOS, ALSO KNOWN AS KAZ LUNASON! NEXT TIME YOU FAKE YOUR DEATH, RATH'S GONNA PUMMEL YA TO THE GROUND!" roared the Appoplexian.
"…But wasn't that your plan?" asked Neos sarcastically. Rath prepared to answer before closing his mouth.
"Touché."
"Did you find where the Corrodium is?" asked Robotallion.
"Yeah, it's almost at the back of it. Only problem is that from what I saw, he has enough to mutate the whole city if we break through," warned Neos.
"Then how are we supposed to depower this hunk of junk?" asked Terrafin.
"If we can't shut it down, then let's cool it off!" punned Neos. Getting the clue, Rath transformed again.
"BIG CHILL! (flies to Neos' level) Let's make this quick. I'm not sure how much juice this thing has." warned the Necrofriggian.
"Don't worry. This guy has something to make it last longer!" replied Neos. Before Big Chill could ask, he starts glowing an icy blue while his teammate's glow is a bright white. "Contact Fusion!" They flew upwards and merged into an icy blue light with multiple columns of ice appearing and the temperature made an incredible decrease.
"Dang, did they turn up the AC?" shivered Terrafin, the others following. Soon, they changed back, hugging their bodies as warmth greeted them. Once the light died down, a new figure emerged. He looks similar to Flare Neos, only more moth-like instead of scarab-like. All the red/orange is replaced with varying shades of blue and the 'horns' are antennas instead. His eyes are dark green, obviously a mix of the fused Defenders' color schemes. Around his waist is a black belt with the Dueltrix symbol acting as a buckle and on his chest is the Ultimatrix symbol, both the same color as his eyes.
"Elemental HERO Neos Chill!" His voice is a combination of the two.
"WHOA!" gawked the Defenders.
"What in blazes have you become?!" gawked Smythe.
"The end of your plans! Frost Hurricane!" cried out Neos Chill. His wings flapped, creating chilling winds that soared toward the Smythe-a-Tron.
"I don't think so!" Fireballs launched out of the broken glass, melting the winds. Neos Chill turned intangible, looking darker than Big Chill, and went through the fireballs, putting them out. Soon, he flew into the Smythe-a-Tron, ice coating his entrance.
"Where did he— WHAT?! I'm losing power?! No! NO!" The Smythe-a-Tron slowed down until it came to a standstill. Soon, ice began coating the machine, reaching to the glass. Neos Chill flew out of it, a mostly frozen Steam Smythe under his hands. He landed on the ground, dropping the villain and defusing. Soon, the others gathered.
"This isn't over, you hear me?! I will have my revenge! I WILL RE—" Terrafin stopped his rant by bonking his head.
"Good thing that was over." sighed Robotallion, everyone reverting.
"That… was weird…" commented Kaz, almost frowning. Chase shrugged before calling Mighty Med security to pick up Smythe. Once he finished, everyone looked at Kaz, intrigued.
"What was it like? Fusing?" asked Kim.
"IT WAS AWESOME! It felt like how I transformed normally, only with someone else being added to my head and blending our personalities! Neos Chill is like…" As Kaz continued ranting, Ben looked at his left wrist, imagining his Mawgu weapon on it and the adventures that followed.
'Trust me, Kaz, you have only begun to tap into the Dueltrix's true potential…'
Ben: Steam Smythe? Isn't he a reboot villain?
Omarnosian10: Yeah, some reboot villains will appear here, along with another few elements from it.
Chase: Like Omni-Enhanced and Omni-Kix?
Omarnosian10: Too early for them to be added. Maybe in the fourth or fifth season.
Jack: Didn't you just say that you haven't come up with ideas for them yet?
Omarnosian10: No, I did come up with each season's main enemy, but not entire plots or subplots. Forget about that for now. Below is a list of forms the Galactic Defenders have, and above them is a virtue that defines each of them, similar to Digimon.
Ben: And I'm guessing these are why the Matrices turned on and chose forms for us?

Omarnosian10: That's the form the Ultimatrix scanned from Skylar. Ben hasn't turned into it yet. Like Rowdyruff (shown in FTGD), it would look the same as Ben but with a different set of clothes. The form will debut in the second season premiere.
Kaz: And Neos Chill?
Omarnosian10: I made him up. As you saw in the description, he's like a Big Chill version of Flare Neos. The closest looking version would be Ultimate.
Kim: So Neos can fuse with any of our forms? Even me?
Omarnosian10: Yes, and before you say anything Kim, if he fuses with any of your forms, they'll all be female, unlike Glow Neos.
Kaz: Wait, what?!
Omarnosian10: Did you forget? Unlike Ben, you can't turn into a male version of certain species, and no, you won't turn into the girl version. I'm not DriveMaxUltraDynamoZord.
Ben: Yeah, swapping bodies with Gwen is enough of a transgender experience for me.
Kim: Good thing too. Wait, if Neos fuses with my Chill form, won't it get confusing?
Omarnosian10: Don't worry. When that happens, I'll put F— in the start so people could know which Chill is fused.
Jack: Wait, will Kaz fuse with more than one person?
Omarnosian10: Not until the season finalé and even then, it'll be the only time this series.
Kaz: Aw come on!
Chase: Makes sense. Fusing with more than one person might take a lot out of you.
