Chapter 68

For the remainder of the day, Olivia and Natalia stayed locked in their hotel room. Savoring one another. Olivia ordered up a delicious baked chicken, roasted golden potatoes, and grilled asparagus dinner. Followed by Natalia's favorite desert, ice cream Sundays.

While Natalia called to check on the kids, Olivia escaped to the restroom. Drawing a nice bath with lavender bath oil. She lit some candles around the tub and stripped down, donning a robe to seek out her lover. She found Natalia on the balcony, looking out over the city she knew so well.

Olivia walked up behind her, wrapping her arms around and resting her chin on a strong shoulder. "How are the kids?" She asked. Placing gentle kisses to Natalia's neck.

Natalia titled her head to the side, giving Olivia better access to her neck. "They're good. Ava's been stopping in at the hotel to lend a hand. Apparently she knew we wouldn't want to be bothered."

"She may have been asked to check in on things so we wouldn't be disturbed unless it was absolutely necessary"

"Mmmhmm. Did she know what you were planning this week?"

"She might have helped me a little with the plans."

"Oh really?" Natalia asked in a playful tone.

Olivia continued to kiss and nip at Natalia's neck and ear. "Yup. But I have better ideas for you right now then to talk about Ava and her involvement in my proposing."

"And what might those ideas be?"

Olivia spun Natalia in her arms, kissing her tenderly. Taking her hand, she led her to the en-suite and helped her out of her clothes. Dropping her robe to the floor and stepping into the tub, settling against the back and holding a hand out for her fiancé. Natalia took the proffered hand and stepped in. Sitting down between Olivia's legs and leaning against her front.

Olivia slipped her arms around Natalia's middle and pulled her tighter against her. She kissed the side of her head as her hands started to make small circles on her stomach. Natalia ran her hands up the sides of Olivia's thighs. Both women enjoying the gentle touches as they melted into each other.

Olivia pressed another kiss to Natalia's temple and wrapped her legs around her. "I love having you right here, pressed up against me."

Natalia turned her head to capture soft lips. "I love being here. It's one of my very favorite places to be. I love you Olivia."

"I love you Natalia. Thank you for never giving up on me."

"Thank you for giving me another chance. I'm so sorry…"

Olivia pressed a finger to Natalia's lips and shook her head. "No. No more apologies. We are moving forward. No more worrying about the past. Okay?"

Natalia didn't say anything, just kissed her again. Reaching a hand to tangle in blonde tresses. Deepening the kiss as she turned her body slightly for a better angle. Olivia ran her hands up and down Natalia's sides as she snaked her tongue into Natalia's mouth. Exploring the warm cavern.

Olivia's hands continued to explore Natalia's body. Roaming over every inch she could reach. Natalia began to kiss along Olivia's neck. Licking and nipping her way to a pounding pulse point where she sucked lightly. Olivia moaned, easing a hand down taught abs, making its way into slick wet folds. The warm water adding additional heat.

Olivia pressed her middle finger to the hard numb circling it. Electing breathy moans from Natalia and causing her to bite down a little harder on Olivia's pulse point. Olivia's fingers slipped lower, finding Natalia's entrance. She teased for just a moment before entering with two fingers, both women gasping as strong fingers moved in and out against tight walls.

Olivia's other hand latched onto a full breast. Kneading the soft flesh. Pinching the nipple between her thumb and index finger. The room filled with the sounds of grunts and moans. Olivia's fingers worked harder and faster pounding in and out. The hand in her hair tightened as nails dug into her thigh. She felt walls tighten around her fingers to the point of being almost painful as Natalia released a final scream and fell over the edge collapsing against Olivia's body, breathing heavy.

Once Natalia's body calmed and her breathing became normal again, she drained the tub and stood, taking Olivia's hands, and helping her stand. Once they were both out of the tub, Natalia dragged Olivia to the shower to rinse the bath oil from their bodies.

The two took turns washing one another's bodies and hair. As the final suds rinsed from Olivia's hair, Natalia couldn't wait any longer. She pressed Olivia to the shower wall, kissing her way down her body, chasing water droplets, as she dropped to her knees. She guided one of Olivia's legs over her shoulder. Placing one hand on her hip and the other on a firm ass cheek, she held Olivia tight against her mouth.

Olivia pressed her hands firmly against the shower wall to help hold herself up. Natalia's tongue licked from clit to opening, lapping up the juices found there. She brought her tongue to circle Olivia's hard nub before slipping it inside as far as she could.

One of Olivia's hands moved from the wall to grip Natalia's head as groans of pleasure erupted from the back of her throat. Natalia's tongue moved in small circles inside her. Moving the hand from Olivia's hip, Natalia pulled out her tongue and replaced it with two fingers as her lips closed around the stiff bud.

She kissed the bundle of nerves several times before sucking it into her mouth. Her fingers thrusting in and out as she sucked her fiancé's erect clit harder. The hand on Olivia's firm globe squeezed as Olivia's thigh muscles tightened and she began to shake. Natalia curled her fingers against spongey flesh, and with two quick flicks of her tongue, a guttural moan sounded as Olivia's orgasm took over her body.

Natalia held her up, removing her fingers, she licked up all the sweet juices, helping to ease Olivia down from her high. As Olivia's body quaked, she slipped down the shower wall and landed in a heap wrapped in Natalia's arms. Natalia kissed Olivia's chest before laying her head just above her heart. The two stayed like that on the shower floor until the water became cool.

Natalia switched off the water and pulled Olivia to her feet. Stepping out, Natalia dried Olivia and then herself before taking Olivia's hand and leading her to the bed. The two falling onto the mattress in a tangled mess of arms and legs.

Natalia kissed Olivia's eyelids, the tip of her nose, and finally her lips. "Today has been so wonderful. I can't believe everything that happened this morning, and our engagement celebration has been amazing."

"I agree. I love you so much Natalia. I meant it when I said I want to give you the world, and I want to start right now."

"I don't need the world Olivia. You and our children are all I need."

Olivia smiled. "You're all I need too." She kissed her tenderly. "Are you ready for tomorrow? We're going to be introduced to our new staff. For the first time you will be introduced as an owner."

"It's a little daunting, but I know it will be okay as long as I have you with me."

"I always will be."

They lapsed into a comfortable silence. As her eyes grew heavy, Olivia tightened her hold on Natalia and kissed her head. Whispering worlds of love before allowing herself to drift into a blissful sleep.

Aside from the Thursday morning meeting with the staff, the following two days were spent sightseeing in Chicago. Although Natalia had grown up in the city, she had never gotten to experience it the way she was now. Olivia had taken her to a showing of Wicked as her first ever Broadway show. Followed by dinner at Alinea on Thursday evening. On Friday they went to The Magnificent Mile. Stopping at several shops, picking up souvenirs for the kids and Olivia insisted they pick up a few things for themselves at Bloomingdale's. Lunch was at Baisi Thai before relaxing with massages at Four Season Spa. They opted for room service at their hotel for dinner and an early night before their drive home Saturday.

Upon returning home, they were greeted by all three children before they even exited the car. Rafe and Ava just as excited as Emma. Although Emma didn't know about the proposal, Ava and Rafe both did and Ava had decided to use the secret of Natalia becoming co-owner of the hotels as a bonding moment with Rafe. The two had shared several talks over the week and were quickly growing close. To an outsider you would never know they hadn't grown up together.

Ava further helped Rafe to understand her mother and come to truly accept Olivia and Natalia's relationship. Although he had come to terms with it and was even excited for Olivia to propose and them to get married and cement their relationship, a lot of it was for the happiness of his mother. After spending time with Ava and learning so much he never knew, he was excited for himself and not just his mother. He was really ready to accept Olivia as a parent to him, as his other mom. A week seems like such a short span of time, but in that few days, Rafe, Ava, and Emma had bonded. They were siblings like any other.

Rafe was also able to help Ava. The two shared a lot. Rafe helped Ava process and deal with the loss of her father. He too only had his father for a short time. He was a shoulder for Ava to cry on. He also allowed her to scream out her anger at her father's loss. He was there when she finally broke. Admitting that she was angry with him. He shouldn't have left. He shouldn't have gone after Edmond. Now she and Collin were left without him. She had just found him and now he was gone. Rafe understood. He told her it was okay. She was allowed to be both hurt and angry. Just because he was gone didn't mean those feelings didn't exist.

Rafe and Ava both helped Emma process her feelings for Natalia's absence over the summer. Although Emma was overjoyed that Natalia was back and she had her family again, she was still mad at her for leaving. She hadn't said anything in fear of her leaving again. Her older siblings explained that sometimes adults do stupid things for stupid reason's just like kids. Rafe admitted that he was mean to his mom and she needed to leave to sort out her feelings. Ava explained that just like she left because it was so hard for her to be in Springfield, Natalia left for the same reason. She didn't leave her or Olivia, she just needed some time to sort some things out.

The three had had movie nights and played games. Rafe and Ava cooked dinner every night. One or both of them read Emma a story and tucked her in at bedtime. The three had become a unit. Working as one to keep the farmhouse running in their mothers' absence.

To Olivia's surprise, Rafe wrapped her in a bear hug the moment she stepped from the car. Ava and Emma both attacking Natalia. The two moms looked at each other over the hood of the car. Both wearing matching grins. As they made their way to the door, the kids were all but stuck to them. Emma firing off a million questions all at once and Rafe and Ava both grinning ear to ear waiting to hear what happened with Olivia's proposal.

"Alright guys, calm down. Let us get in the house and our coats off." Olivia said.

The kids all calmed a little. Rafe went to grab their bags and Ava headed to the kitchen to finish the sandwiches she was making for lunch. Oliva joined her daughter while Natalia sat on the couch answering as many of Emma's questions as she could.

Once their luggage was taken upstairs, the five settled in at the kitchen table to eat. As everyone took their seats, Olivia stood. "Okay guys, Natalia and I have some news to share with you all." She motioned for Natalia to stand with her. Natalia did, wrapping her left arm around Olivia's waist, keeping her ring hidden. "We are the official owners of a new hotel. The Beacon Chicago is officially ours."

The kids all cheered. Congratulating Olivia on the purchase. Olivia raised a hand to silence them. "It's not just mine. Natalia is co-owner of the first property under Spencer-Rivera Hotels and Resorts. The Beacon Springfield will be added when we officially announce our new company."

Again, cheers and congratulations erupted. Natalia cleared her throat to get their attention again. "We still have one more thing to share." She looked at Olivia, both their eyes shining. Rafe and Ava shared a knowing look before returning their attention to their mothers. Natalia pulled her left hand from behind Olivia and held it out to them. "Olivia asked me to marry her, and I excepted."

All three children rose from their seats and wrapped their mothers in a hug. Ava kissing both of their cheeks. Then turning to her mother. "So, when's the wedding?" She asked excitedly. Already knowing Olivia plans.

The five returned to their seats and Olivia cleared her throat. "Well, we haven't really talked about it yet, but, I have an idea." She looked at Natalia a little sheepishly.

"Would you like to fill in the rest of us my love?" Natalia asked with a grin.

"Um, I was thinking New Years. We already filled out the marriage license for Iowa and it's good for a year. I thought the five of us could fly over and get legally married at a courthouse and then come home and have a real ceremony."

Natalia was in awe once again. She knew this was more than a thought, Olivia had already planned this. "So, you just thought of this?" she asked Olivia with a knowing look in her eyes.

Olivia bowed her head before looking up again. Glancing at her children before meeting Natalia's eyes again. Speaking in a small voice. "I may have already talked to Phillip about using the Spaulding Jet so we can get there and back in a just a few hours. That way we can be both legally married and married with our family and friends on the same day. I thought it was a great way to start our lives together. Begin on the New Year and leave this year behind as we head into our future. I even thought we might time our kiss to seal our marriage to be at midnight on the dot."

"Oh yeah? You just thought of all of this did ya? You haven't been thinking about this for a while or anything have you?"

"It's possible that I always wanted to get married on New Year's, from the moment I asked you the first time. And it's possible that since Emma and I moved back in I've been working on this."

"It's possible Olivia?"

"Okay I have been. You happy?" She asked with mock annoyance.

Natalia leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Very. I think it sounds wonderful. We can plan more later. Now let's eat." Olivia's face flushed with relief as she took a bite from her sandwich.

The children snickered amongst themselves as they watched the interaction take place. Rafe and Ava steeling glances at one another and trying to hold back full-on laughter at seeing the great Olivia Spencer cower in front of Natalia. It was plain to see that Olivia was wrapped firmly around Natalia's finger.

Olivia swallowed the bite in her mouth and glared at her two eldest children. "You two finding something funny?"

"No, not at all." Rafe stated half laughing as he dug into his plate.

Emma had been trying to follow everything, taking the time to think about it all before she spoke. "You guys are gonna get married on New Year's? We'll be a real family?" She questioned, bouncing in her seat.

Olivia reached out and caressed her cheek. "We already are a real family Jellybean, but yes. Natalia and I are going to get married on New Year's."

"Do I get to be the flower girl?"

"Of course, you do sweetheart." Natalia assured the young girl. "There isn't a better flower girl in the world."

"Are you gonna call Uncle Sam to come walk you down the aisle?" Ava asked her mother.

"Um, I don't know. We really haven't talked about anything. These are just my thoughts, but yes, I think I would like Sammy to give me away. That's a good idea Ava."

Natalia smiled at the look on Olivia's face. She knows how much Olivia loves Sam and she could tell how much she misses him. She reached over and squeezed her hand reassuringly. "So, what have you three been up to this week? Olivia and I stopped by The Beacon on our way home, seems everything is running smoothly, and Rafe we heard you are doing great."

"Yeah, I'm really liking it. I know I still have five more departments to train with, but I really like working in the front office. Robert has taught me a lot. I spoke with Karen, since I already worked in the kitchen a little, she said we can skip some stuff and focus more on receiving orders, service, and keeping up with stock. Knowing what to order and all that."

"Yes, I spoke with Robert this morning, he says you're a natural. I'm pleased that you are enjoying it." Olivia said.

Rafe beamed at the compliment. "So is Ma co-owner of The Beacon here now too?"

"Well, although she has signed all the necessary paperwork, she refuses to make it official until after we're married. She only agreed for The Beacon Chicago because it saved us time and money in the future since we won't have to re-do everything and because it was better to start out with her already as an owner with the new staff." Oliva answered.

"Why aren't you doing it now? I mean you filled out all the paperwork." Ava asked.

"I think it would be easier for some of the staff to accept once I'm officially Mrs. Spencer-Rivera, and because these things don't usually happen until after a wedding. Your mom and I want to do this right. It's only a couple of months." Natalia offered, hoping Ava would understand.

"Which is why you can't mention the new company yet. We aren't filing any of the paperwork until after the wedding. The only thing we are doing now is both of our medical power of attorneys, the paperwork for the new hotel, and…" She paused and looked at Emma who she had spoken to about the adoption before they left.

"My adoption papers. Natalia's gonna be my mommy for real now?" Emma jumped from her seat and ran to Natalia's lap.

Natalia and Olivia both smiled at her. "Yes baby. I'm gonna be your mommy for real now."

Rafe and Ava both wore matching shocked expressions. To everyone's surprise, Emma had managed to not spill the beans to her brother and sister. "What?" Ava questioned with wide eyes.

Olivia looked to her eldest with worry crossing her face. "Ava I'm sorry. I didn't think that you would be upset. I spoke with Phillip and Emma…"

"Upset, no, I'm not upset." She assured. Shaking her head. "I think it's great."

"I wanted to make sure Phillip, Emma, and Natalia were on board before I told anyone. Rafe, are you okay with this?"

"Yeah, yeah, of course. I'm just a little surprised that's all. I'm glad Ma is gonna adopt Emma."

"Good. I guess I should have mentioned it to both of you first."

"No Olivia, it's okay. This was for Ma and Emma. I'm glad they got to enjoy it before we knew. But uh, how does this work? I mean with Phillip."

"Well, it's called a third parent adoption. Natalia will have equal rights as Phillip and I. Phillip agreed that should something happen to me he wouldn't fight for Emma unless she wanted to live with him. He agrees that this is her home and that Natalia is just as much her mother as I am. It basically means that she can do everything she already does and then some. She has the ability to make decisions at school as well as medical. In the eyes of the law, she will be Emma's mother instead of just in our hearts." Olivia clarified.

"That's so awesome mom. I'm so happy for you guys, and Emma of course." Ava stated.

"I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I have the best two mommies, the best daddy, and the greatest brother and sister ever." Emma proclaimed. Hoping from Natalia's lap to take her plate to the sink.

"I would have to agree." Olivia said.

The family finished lunch and went to the living room to watch an afternoon movie. Natalia snuggled into Olivia's side on the couch with Emma pressed against her side. Rafe and Ava moved the coffee table and laid some blankets on the floor to lie out on. As soon as they were settled, Emma kissed Natalia on the cheek and went to lay between her brother and sister on the floor. Leaving Olivia and Natalia alone on the couch.

As Monster VS Aliens began to play, Olivia stretched out on the couch, maneuvering Natalia to lay in front of her. She had one arm tucked behind her own head and the other throw over Natalia's waist, her hand rubbing Natalia's stomach over her shirt. Natalia laced her fingers with Olivia's and pressed back into her body. The two looked down at their children, both overjoyed at the acceptance of their engagement and the feeling of family surrounding them.

Natalia adjusted to lay almost on her back so she could look up at Olivia. No words were needed. They each knew what the other was thinking. Natalia stretched up to kiss her fiancé, the love of her life. The two met in a tender kiss. Just the meeting of lips. This kiss was for their family. The love and togetherness that now encompassed them. There may still be plenty to work out, but together, the five of them, could get through anything.
