To Anon: This was fun to set up!

To Lyger 0: Was the pun intentional? :D The Battle of Tarascon was about six weeks ago, and it between four and six weeks that Emilie or Sabrina can feel a baby's emotions; the Kwamis can feel it sooner.

To MiraculousReader: At some point she'll definitely need advice from Julia, lol! As far as how long the "Mind Games"-verse will run, I actually don't have any specific ending limit or time in mind. It's currently around 1.8 million words (according to AO3), and it could potentially go at least that much longer, provided that I continue to have ideas.

To KoalaWho: Anything is possible! I will say that there's a definite "baby boom" coming…

Sabrina sat in the soft grass, her legs pulled up to her chest, Nooroo resting on her knee and looking up at her with wide, sympathetic eyes while patting her arm. Emilie knelt next to her, one of her hands on Sabrina's shoulder, squeezing gently. She had sent Duusu away the moment they had stepped out of the grotto, when Duusu rocketed toward them, his face lit up with glee, and threw himself at Sabrina's cheek to give her a hug, tittering ecstatically about her "new baby." At the time, Sabrina had been relieved to not have Duusu's boundless excitement so close to her face, but the cavern felt incredibly quiet and claustrophobic in the ensuing silence. Swallowing anxiously, Sabrina stared down at the grass in front of her, picking out each individual flower bud with her eyes. Her jaw clenched, her stomach twisting around into a tight knot. How could she have let this happen? Before the Tarasque, before Max's "death," they had never even slept together – they had hardly ever shared a bed! Her breathing hitched, and she squeezed her eyes shut. But since then… And she had never even considered protection… or even consequences. Honestly, she couldn't be surprised that this had happened – they had practically been asking for it! It really was all her fault, wasn't it? She sighed heavily. She wasn't ready to have a baby, was she? But… there it was! There was no denying what that was, now that she knew what to look for. What would this mean for her life, for her plans?

Her life was over.

Sabrina's shoulders slumped; Emilie's hand on her shoulder tightened. Sabrina could feel the knot of anxiety in her stomach beginning to ease and relax, the anxiety and fear and embarrassment fading away. Wanly she looked up at Emilie. "Thanks."

Emilie smiled kindly. The air around her seemed to grow warm from the calm and reassurance in Emilie's emotions, which flooded into Sabrina. "Don't even mention it," Emilie assured her. "Of course I'm here to help and support you through this – you are special, and you're important to me, just as much as Adrien or Marinette or Chloe. And after everything you've been through, after how much help Max was to us during that six weeks that you were gone… I'm happy to return the favor."

Sabrina sniffled and let out a breath, trying to get her breathing and heartrate under control. "I shouldn't need your help to cope with the emotions," she grumbled, glaring down at the ground. "I thought I could handle these kinds of things on my own. But I just – it's so much to take in."

"It is a big change," agreed Emilie, rubbing Sabrina's back. "Especially when you weren't prepared for it – or even thinking about it." She chuckled. "I was a few years older than you are now when Adrien was born, but I still remember the flood of mixed emotions that went along with it. Happiness and excitement, of course, but also fear and anxiety – and Gabriel and I had been trying to have a baby!"

Sabrina frowned, swallowing anxiously. "I promise you, this wasn't planned."

Emilie nodded sympathetically. "I know. But it's happened nonetheless." She let out a breath. "And I know you're not quite ready to hear it yet, but it is going to be okay. You're not alone."

Squeezing her eyes shut, Sabrina nodded, slipping one of her hands into the space between her legs and chest and slowly rubbing her stomach in small circles. Concentrating her senses, she focused in on the tiny mote of contentment, taking solace in the calm that it represented. Allowing her eyes to drift shut, she leaned into Emilie, breathing in and out slowly and deeply, trying to calm her still-racing heart. Emilie rubbed circled on her back, her emotions overflowing with calm and happiness.

"All right, what's the emergency? And why was Duusu literally bouncing off the walls when I got here?" Chloe's voice reverberated off of the stone walls and ceiling as the elevator's soft hum cut off. Sabrina jumped, her eyes shooting wide open in surprise, and Chloe stormed across the cavern in their direction, heedless of the flock of butterflies that scattered around her, exuding a level of concern entirely at odds with her irritated demeanor. Sabrina felt a jolt of amusement from Emilie as Chloe stepped off the path and onto the grass, her mouth set in a scowl. "Bri and I were just about to review the security procedures at city hall, so this had better be–" Chloe stopped, the concern in her emotions spiking and shifting into worry. She cocked her head to one side. "Um… what's going on?"

Sabrina gulped, her anxiety and embarrassment roaring back with a vengeance, and pulled back into herself. "Oh, hey, Chlo," she managed, looking up at her and plastering on a smile. "Why were you taking Bri to city hall on a Saturday while she's on 'vacation'?"

"Oh, just a little issue with Aurore and Killer Bee and a literal mountain of camembert last night," she replied, waving her hand dismissively. "It doesn't matter."

"'Camembert'?" Sabrina repeated, nonplussed.

Chloe dropped to her knees in front of Sabrina, staring at her with her eyes wide. "Um… Sabrina? What–what's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Sabrina cringed, sniffling, and looked down. All of the self-confidence and acceptance she had managed to find over the last thirty minutes had vanished completely. She couldn't do this! She couldn't handle this! If she couldn't talk to Chloe, how was she supposed to handle–

Emilie squeezed her shoulder. Her mouth moved, but Sabrina barely registered the sound. Chloe placed a hand on her knee, and Sabrina blinked. She needed to focus, needed to take control of herself and everything that was going on around her. she had to deal with this thing! But staring into Chloe's concern-filled face, she could only withdraw further into herself. Everything was happening so fast around her… Her stomach clenched; her hand tightened on her chest reflexively. Academically, she knew it was impossible, but she could imagine the baby moving.

She was going to have a baby…

"Tante?" Chloe's voice had lost all its accustomed bravado. "Do you know what happened?"

Beside Sabrina, Emilie nodded. "I know." She sighed heavily. "But Sabrina needs to be the one to tell you."

"Utterly ridiculous," Chloe muttered under her breath. "If someone doesn't start talking soon…" She groaned, rolling her eyes. "Is it Max? Did that ungrateful little–"

"Chloe," Emilie warned her mildly.

"Did he do something to Sabrina?"

Emilie put a hand to her mouth to stifle a laugh. "I suppose, in a manner of speaking…"

"That son of a bitch!" Chloe swore, her eyes flashing. "When I get my hands on him–" she snarled, focusing intently on Sabrina. "What did he do?"

Sabrina quailed under the intensity of Chloe's gaze, swallowing nervously, and leaned back away from her, only to come up against Emilie's arm around her back. "He–um–I'm–"

"Damn it, girl, just spit it out!" Chloe leaned forward, staring into Sabrina's face intently, anger and concern warring for dominance in her emotions. She put her hand on Sabrina's chin, surprisingly gentle despite her rage, turning Sabrina's head in either direction and examining her carefully. "What, did he hit you? Break up with you? Say something–?"

"What!? No!" Sabrina started, pulling away from Chloe and staring at her in shock. "He would never–"

"Then what did he–"

"Chloe, I'm pregnant!" Sabrina gasped, covering her mouth with one hand and staring at Chloe as the news sunk in. Chloe's anger and frustration held for all of fifteen seconds as Sabrina watched her face with bated breath. Suddenly, doubt and confusion crept into Chloe's emotions and quickly shifted from there into excitement that spread across her face as she lunged forward, pulling Sabrina into a tight hug and nearly unbalancing Sabrina so she fell over.

"That's–that's amazing!" Chloe enthused, squeezing her even tighter. Sabrina struggled feebly, pushing Chloe away just enough to be able to breathe. Chloe's excitement took on a tinge of nervousness and worry, and her grip on Sabrina slackened. "It–it is a good thing, right?" She leaned back, holding Sabrina by the shoulders at arm's length and examining her face, her eyes drifting constantly toward Emilie. "Right?"

Sabrina's breathing hitched. "I–I don't really know," she admitted, looking down. "It's–I mean–"

"Wait, how long have you known?" demanded Chloe, her eyes narrowing. "Am I the last one to find out?"

Sabrina shook her head jerkily. "It's–it's all just so new…"

Emilie gently pried Chloe's hands off of Sabrina's shoulders. "You're only the third one to find out – fifth, if you include Duusu and Nooroo."

Chloe nodded slowly in understanding. "That's why Duusu is flying around like a maniac upstairs?"

"That's why."

Chloe cocked her head, giving Sabrina a look. "Wait… so Max doesn't even know yet?"

Sabrina shook her head. "No – I–I didn't know until I got here and I was meditating with Emilie and–"

"And we need to correct that," Chloe finished, cutting Sabrina off.

Sabrina's eyes widened in panic. "What!?"

"I assume he's the father, right?" Chloe asked, arching an eyebrow.

Sabrina nodded firmly. "Of course he is! I've never…" Her voice trailed off, and she gulped.

Chloe's mouth set in a firm line. "Then he needs to know."

Sabrina's breathing hitched. "I–I don't know if I'm ready for that," she whispered, looking up at Emilie for support.

"And when will you be ready?" Chloe responded, giving her a meaningful look. Sabrina shrugged, shaking her head. Chloe smirked. "Because you probably need to tell him before the baby comes out…"

Sabrina flushed. "Oh, god…" she moaned, burying her face in her hands. "I–I can't do this."

"It's going to be okay, sweetheart," Emilie whispered consolingly, running a hand up and down her back.

"Of course it's going to be okay," Chloe agreed, nodding firmly. "You've got us on your side!"

Sabrina looked up at Chloe, grabbing her hand. "You're–you're going to come with me, right?"

"Absolutely."

AN: Like I said earlier this week, today I'm also publishing the first chapter of a new weekly anthology: "Miraculous: Tales of Nabatala and the Owl." Let me know what you think of that!
