Benjamin Tennyson, wielder of the omnitrix, the most powerful device in the known universe. Young Ben used the omnitrix to transform into multiple different alien species and save the world. Evil scientists, criminals, bounty hunters, alien warlords and many other types of criminals all faced Ben along with his allies and lost. Time and time again, any who challenged Ben would lose, no matter how many times they faced him. One would think that all of those victories and power would go to one's head but not Ben. Yes there were those times he would act immature but in the end he would always do what was right, with the right guidance and on his own.
As time went on, things began to change for Earth and the universe, more and more villains began to get arrested, some even retired while others turned over a new leaf. Things were looking great for Ben, soon he wouldn't really have to use the omnitrix all that much. He could focus on being an 18 year old, hanging out with his friends, focusing on his studies and even focusing on his love life. It all seemed as though everything was coming together for Ben and it was looking good for him. However, things don't always stay the same and it was looking like something bad was going to happen to Ben and his family. The winds were changing and a disaster was going to be coming to Bellwood for Ben and his family, it's name was Vilgax.
Tennyson Residence: Bellwood
Pulling up to his house, Ben saw his family home in flames, smoke filled the sky as a shadow figure loomed inside of the wrecked home
"MOM!!! DAD!!!" Ben yelled as he ran out of his car to his home
Laying there on the lawn was the bodies of Ben's own mother and father, they were covered in cuts and bruises and barely recognizable. Ben bent down and checked on both of them, he didn't feel a heartbeat from either of them.
"No" Ben said faintly as he saw that both his parents were dead
"They fell like wheat to the sickle" a deep voice said
Ben looked up from his parents bodies and saw him walking out from the burning ruins from his home, Vilgax
"Vilgax" Ben said with venom in his voice as he glared at his arch nemesis
Vilgax walked out of the flames, his red metal boots making a loud noise with each step. Hanging from Vilgax's sharp claws was an old man wearing a red Hawaiian shirt, it was Ben's grandfather, Max Tennyson.
"GRANDPA!!!" Ben yelled
Ben readied the omnitrix and was going to transform before Vilgax spoke and stopped him
"Transform and I will remove the old man's head from his body" Vilgax threatened Ben as his grasp on Ben's grandfather tightened
"B…B…Ben" Max said weakly as blood dripped from his mouth
Ben moved his hand away from the omnitrix and let it deactivate, there wasn't anyway he was going to let Vilgax kill his grandfather
"It seems that I have finally found your one true weakness Tennyson" Vilgax said to Ben
"And what is it then?" Ben asked Vilgax, doing his best to hold himself back
"Your family, your family is your weakness and now I can finally exploit it and have the one thing in this universe I've been longing for after all these years" Vilgax answered
"You killed my parents, why did you?" Ben asked Vilgax angered
"I didn't just kill them, I also took the liberty of killing a few others that were important to you" Vilgax said with a twisted grin on his face
Ben watched in horror as Vilgax snapped his fingers, signaling two robots to walk out of the smoke and stand next to Vilgax. Hanging from the claws of the robots were the bodies of Ben's cousin Gwendolyn and Ben's best friend Kevin.
"I took the liberty of killing your cousin and your best friend along with their families as well" Vilgax said with a sinister chuckle
Ben was breaking even more now, he couldn't believe what he was seeing, the people he cared about the most were dead
"Ben" a faint voice said
Ben turned around and saw another robot walking up with a girl in its clutches
"Kai?" Ben said confused
"I captured your little girlfriend as well, I didn't kill her since I've got something else to do with her in mind" Vilgax told Ben
Ben didn't know what to do, Vilgax had both his grandfather and his girlfriend in his clutches. If he messed up and made a move, both of them would end up being killed by Vilgax.
"Vilgax, I am going to make you pay for this" Ben told Vilgax as he clenched his fist
"Remember, you use the omnitrix I will kill your grandfather as well as your female other" Vilgax told Ben with that twisted grin on his face as he wagged his finger at Ben
"Ben help us" Kai plead
"I will Kai, I'll save you both" Ben said as he reached out towards Kai
"Do not make promises you can't keep Tennyson, they will be the death of those you love dearly" Vilgax told Ben
Angered, Ben wanted to fight Vilgax but now he had to play by the conqueror's rules
"What do you want from me Vilgax? I'll give you the omnitrix if you let them go" Ben told Vilgax, trying to make a deal with him
"I do not want the omnitrix anymore, all I want is vengeance, vengeance against you and you family and in order for me to get that I am going to have you choose" Vilgax told Ben
"Have me choose what?" Ben asks Vilgax
"You must choose who lives and who dies, your grandfather or your female love" Vilgax answered
Hearing that Ben froze, he looked at his grandfather then at Kai, he couldn't choose between the two of them. Ben loved them both and couldn't see either of them be killed. This is what Vilgax wanted, he wanted him to suffer by making him choose.
"Choose now or I will kill them both" Vilgax told Ben
"No, I won't choose, I can't choose" Ben said falling to his knees
"I know you can't choose that is why I will kill them" Vilgax said
It was then that Ben saw it happen, he saw Vilgax do it right before him
"NO!!!" Ben yelled
Bridge: Bellwood
That happened months ago, Vilgax killed Ben's entire family, he killed his parents, his aunt and uncle, his cousin and best friend. Vilgax even killed Ben's grandfather and girlfriend after Ben failed to choose who would live. In the moment, Ben snapped and made Vilgax feel the worse pain imaginable before killing him. The death of Vilgax sent a message to the rest of the universe, do not mess with Ben Tennyson or Earth. Vilgax's death brought peace to the universe however, a few of the people living on Earth saw something different.
Will Harangue made Ben look like a crazed out of control monster who would kill anyone who'd cross him. Rook and the Plumbers didn't see Ben like that but a large majority of people on Earth saw Ben as Harangue did. It came to the point that the people of Bellwood wanted Ben gone and Ben didn't want anymore problems. Not wanting to be a hero anymore and seeing that no one wanted him around, Ben decided to leave. He was going to leave Bellwood and use the omnitrix one last time to help him build a new identity. That is why Ben is now driving across the bridge and leaving Bellwood for good, leaving everything behind him.
"I wish this traffic would hurry up" Ben said to himself as he looked out the window of the driver side
Cars and trucks weren't moving anywhere as traffic on the bridge became backed up
"I've been here for hours now, when is the traffic going to pick up?" Ben asked himself with an annoyed sigh
Ben hit his head against the wheel before his eyes started to close, the moment they did, flashes of fire and blood appeared in Ben's mind
"NO!!!" Ben yelled as he jolted awake
Ben looked around in a panic and saw that the cars in front of him moving while the one behind him was honking its horn
"I'm going, I'm going" Ben said sounding exhausted as he started to drive forwards
As Ben continued to drive forwards across the bridge, he let out a yawn from his lack of sleep. Ever since that day, Ben had been having nightmares of what happened to them and hasn't been able to sleep since. Even while he was awake all Ben could see was their blood on Vilgax's hands and what happened afterwards.
"HOOOOOOOOOONK!!!!"
"What the?" Ben asked as he was pulled from his thoughts
Looking up Ben saw a large oil truck speeding down the opposite side of the road. The truck hit a car and instantly flipped on its side and slid towards the bridge. Ben watched the whole thing happen as cars were pushed out of the way by the sliding oil truck. Instinctively Ben wanted to go out and there and help but the fear of using the omnitrix overtook him.
"Keep your head down and keep driving" Ben said to himself quietly as he drove past all of the chaos going on
"You are a hero and sometimes doing the right thing means facing your fears and overcoming obstacles"
Hearing those words in his head made Ben immediately hit the brakes and stopped his car
"I am immediately going to regret this" Ben said to himself as he got out of his car
Opening the door and stepping out of his car, people ran past Ben and got to a safe distance. Ben lifted up his wrist and activated the omnitrix as he walked towards the oil truck as it finally stopped. Oil spilt out from the back of the truck and a spark from a hit car ignited the oil which made things more dangerous.
"Better hurry" Ben said to himself as he quickly scrolled through omnitrix playlist
Without looking, Ben selected an alien to transform into which caused the faceplate of the omnitrix to slide back and the omnitrix core to pop up
"Guess it's one last hero time" Ben said to himself as he hit the omnitrix core down
In an instant, Ben was engulfed in a bright flash of green light as the omnitrix transformed into the alien that he selected. When the green light faded away, it was revealed that Ben had transformed into a bulky humanoid alien who's body was made a of red charcoal-like rock with flames all over. There were cracks all over the rock parts of the alien's body and small flames shot out of the shoulders like a volcano. This alien was Ben's Pyronite form that he called Heatblast.

"Heatblast? I was hoping for Water Hazard, guess I'll just have to make do" Ben said to himself as he saw what alien he had transformed into
A voice calling out for help caught Ben's attention, looking over, Ben saw that the driver of the oil truck was trapped
"Help me!!!" The drive called out
"I'm coming!!!" Ben shouted as he rocketed himself towards the oil truck
Ben landed down near the cab of the oil truck and immediately melted the door
"Can you get out from there?" Ben asked the driver
"The seat belt got crushed, it won't come undone" the driver said as he tried to undo his seat belt
"Hold still, this might get a bit hot" Ben told the driver
Ben then fired a small and concentrated beam of fire, burning through the driver's seat belt
"I'm free" the driver said as his seat belt was cut all the way through
"Get out of here, GO!!!" Ben told the driver
Quickly the driver crawled out of the cab of the oil truck, Ben then turned his attention to others who were trapped. Focusing on them, Ben went around and freed as many people as he could until he had gotten everyone to safety. Now all Ben had to deal with was the oil truck as the flames got closer and closer to the tank.
"Everyone, get to a safe distance" Ben told the people around him
All of the people ran the other way which allowed Ben to focus on the oil truck without having to worry about anyone getting hurt if things didn't work out
"Time for some maximum effort" Ben said to himself as he rocketed back over to the oil truck
Ben landed down and went to where the trail of oil was, as the flames quickly traveled down it towards the tank
"Not going to happen" Ben said as he threw a ball of fire that destroyed the road, stopping the fire from burning down the rest of the oil truck
Seeing that things were safe and the danger of an exploding oil truck was stopped, Ben went to check on the people he saved. As Ben walked over to them, he began to get that weird feeling, that familiar feeling. Ben thought he heard that laugh again which caused him to turn around in a panic.
"Vilgax?" Ben asked as he turned around quickly
Vilgax wasn't there, it was just the wreckage from the accident, Ben's mind was playing tricks on him
"You saved us" a woman said to Ben
"You're a hero" the oil truck driver told Ben
More and more people were calling Ben a hero, something he never expected to be called again after everything that had happened
"The truck, it's going to explode!!!" A man yelled
"I thought I stopped it" Ben said as he turned around
Looking at the oil truck, Ben saw sparks coming from an underground power line that had become exposed from him initially stopping the fire from reaching the oil. The sparks coming from the exposed power line reignited the oil trail and Ben was too far away to do anything. The flames went in to the oil tank and in an instant there was a massive explosion.
"Everyone!!! Get behind me" Ben told all the people
As they quickly got behind him, the explosion and flames got closer and closer to Ben. He stuck his arms out and using his Pyronite powers, Ben began to absorb the flames from the explosion. The flames were strong and the explosion was powerful as cars near the oil truck also exploded.
"I can do this, I can do this" Ben said as he began to struggle as he kept absorbing the flames
The force of the explosion slowly pushed Ben backwards as his feet burned the ground beneath him. Ben tried to stay up and keep absorbing the flames but he didn't know how long he was going to be able to do that. Suddenly the omnitrix badge on Ben's chest began to flash red, signaling that it was running out of power. If he didn't fully absorb the flames now, Ben was going to end up transforming back into his human form.
"Come on, just a little bit more" Ben said to himself as he continued to struggle
Eventually Ben was engulfed in a bright red light as he was transformed back into his human form. As he transformed back, the lingering flames burned Ben's hands and arms as well as parts of his upper body and face. Ben closed his eyes, he had a feeling that the omnitrix wasn't going to save him this time. If he was going to die today, Ben was glad that it was when he was doing one last heroic thing.
"I'm coming guys" Ben said to himself as he closed his eyes
The flames engulfed Ben and then immediately vanished alongside Ben into nothingness. The people behind Ben cheered but were surprised to see that Ben was gone.
Forest Clearing: Unknown Location
As the flames vanished, Ben quickly noticed that he was still alive and was not dead. His body was badly injured and his clothes were damaged but Ben was still alive.
"Looks like I'm not dying today" Ben said to himself
Ben wasn't exactly upset that he wasn't dead but that wasn't to say that he wouldn't accept it if that was the case
"Someday" Ben said to himself as he looked down at the omnitrix on his wrist
It was then that Ben noticed that something was off, looking around where he was, Ben saw that he was in a clearing of some sort
"Where the heck am I" Ben asked looking around at his current location
Ben was no longer near the bridge to Bellwood, there was no people around him, no crashed cars or anything. That wasn't the only thing that Ben noticed was missing, there was something else that was no longer with him
"Where the heck is my car!?!" Ben asked in a panic as he looked around for his car
While his car was no longer with him, there was something else that Ben was going to have to worry about right now. A deep low growling sound could be heard coming from the tree line around the clearing where Ben was.
"That can't be good" Ben said cautiously as he slowly turned around in a circle, following the growling noise
The growling continued as the wind picked up, causing a strong smell hit Ben's nose, it smelled like death, it smelled a lot like blood
"That definitely isn't good" Ben said as the smell of blood continued to hit his nose
Eventually the low growling stopped but Ben knew that whatever was making the growling noise wasn't gone. It was then that Ben saw a large pair of glowing eyes coming from the tree line before they immediately vanished. There was a large gust of wind as a large shadow figure jumped out from the tree line, not wanting to take any chances, Ben readied the omnitrix. A large hairy and bulky creature with white fur, red eyes, sharp teeth and claws with a tail landed down in front of Ben. The creature looked like a mix of a gorilla-like creature with that of a wolf or other carnivore.
"Who would of thought that I'd be spending the rest of my day fighting sasquatch?" Ben asked himself sarcastically
The large creature let out a loud howling noise which shook everything around Ben and echoed throughout the entire forest
"I have a real bad feeling about that" Ben said to himself
More howling from the distance could be heard as figures began to emerge from the tree line, Ben saw that those figures were similar creatures to the large white one but smaller
"Of course you have friends" Ben said with a sigh
The large creature let out a low growl before howling as drool and blood dripped from its mouth, the smaller creatures joined in on the howling as Ben was slowly surrounded on all sides by the creatures. With nowhere to go and it looking like Ben was going to have to fight his way out of this, Ben looked down and saw that the omnitrix was fully charged.
"I don't suppose any of you could help me find my car?" Ben asked the creatures
None of them answered Ben's question, all of them roared at Ben as they got closer to him
"Looks like neither of you can help me" Ben said as he lifted up the omnitrix
The creatures readied themselves to pounce on Ben as he activated the omnitrix, the large creature stood there, letting the smaller creatures go in for the kill
"Maybe this time will be the last hero time" Ben said to himself as the core of the omnitrix popped up
Not knowing what alien that he had selected, Ben took a deep breath in and out before he raised his hand above the omnitrix core. Before he slammed it down, all of the smaller creatures lunged forwards at Ben, all of them letting out a loud roar. As they all piled up on top of Ben one by one, a flash of bright green light could be seen from down bellow the pile. An explosion happened which knocked all of the creatures backwards. There was a cloud of smoke where the creatures had piled up, the large creature snarled as a silhouette of a tall figure could be seen in the smoke.
"You and your buddies are in a whole lot of trouble now" a nasally voice from the smoke said to the large creature

Hello there readers, I am sorry for leaving you on a cliffhanger like that but you all will just have to wait for the next chapter to see what happens. This is my first story on here and I hope you all enjoyed reading this first chapter and are ready for plenty more in the future. I will be updating this story with a new chapter every Sunday of every week, so don't ask me to update all the time. For those who would like to know, I will mostly be using the Omniverse designs for all of the alien transformations. However, if there is a design that I like better, I will use it and post a link to the design.
I have thought about it and I will be using aliens that are in the omnitrix but haven't been used. I will also be using some OC and non-cannon alien transformations I'm this story. If you readers really want me to, I will use some 5YL alien designs in the story. Let me know which aliens that you readers would like to see me use in the story. Before any of you ask, I cannot say anything about Ben using ultimate forms or him having an Anodite form. You readers are just going to have to wait and see what happens in the story as it continues. I should also let you readers know that I haven't decided on if Ben should have a love interest in this story. If there is a specific character you would like to see Ben with, comment and let me know or let me know if you don't want Ben to have a love interest.
Now I know there will be a lot of you who will comment and say that I am copying and ripping off CaptainRex's story. Just because they also wrote a Ben 10/Avenger's: Earth's Mightiest Heroes crossover, doesn't mean theirs is the only one that exists. I've seen similar stories on here get accused of that and they've stopped updating them all together. That isn't going to be happening here, I intend to write this story and finish it all the way through. I will let you know that isn't what I am doing, I am not copying them at all. Yes, our stories will have a few similarities but that is all. So don't bother commenting and telling me that since I know I'm not and now you know. I will let all of you readers know that at the end of each chapter I will be answering your questions. Since this is the first chapter of the story there aren't any questions for me to answer.
