Previously
After having rescued Ant-man from the sinking S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, Ben ended up teaming up with Ant-man, Wasp and a few other heroes to take on Graviton. With the combined efforts of Ben, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Wasp and Ant-man the heroes came out on top and saved the city. Afterwards they were confronted by Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D who were after Ben and the Hulk. There it was discovered that other supermax prisons also had blackouts that allowed the supervillains inside to escape. Between, the Big House the Raft, the Vault and the Cube, a total of 74 villains escaped. Not wanting to let S.H.I.E.L.D take the Hulk, Iron Man offered to look after the green giant.
Also not wanting to become S.H.I.E.L.D agents, Iron Man decided that it would be best if all the heroes formed a team so they could capture all of the escaped 74 villains. Ben declined to join the team and wanted to try and start a new heroless life but first he needed to answer Nick Fury's questions. Ben revealed to Fury and the heroes that he was not of this universe which surprised them and leads us to now.
Outside Avengers Mansion: New York City
Standing outside the gates of large mansion in the upper east part of New York was Ben, Thor and the Hulk. With them was a young woman with red hair named Pepper Potts. Currently they were awaiting for the arrival of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. This was his family's mansion and he had asked all of them to meet him there.
"Tis been at least three hours, where is Stark?" Thor asked, sounding annoyed
"Hulk getting angry" Hulk said sounding frustrated
"He better hurry up, I don't want people seeing my face" Ben said as he covered his face with his hood
"He should be arriving any moment now" Pepper said, taping her foot annoyed
Eventually up in the sky came down Tony who was wearing his Iron Man armor
"Sorry about the wait guys, I just got out of a meeting" Tony said as he landed on the ground and took off his helmet
"You mean the meeting you were supposed to have now?" Pepper asked Tony
"Uh, yeah, I guess that's the meeting I meant" Tony answered embarrassingly
"I reschedule it for later" Pepper said with an annoyed sigh
"Okay fellas, this here use to be the home of my mother's foundation but now it is going to be our base of operations" Tony said to Ben and the others
"Done waiting" Hulk said as he pushed open the gates, breaking them
"Okay then, time for the tour" Tony said as Hulk walked off towards the mansion
"You shouldn't have kept him waiting" Ben said as he walked past Tony
"Thee shouldn't have kept all of us waiting" Thor said to Tony
As they make their way to the front doors of the mansion, both Ant-man, aka Hank Pym and Wasp, aka Janet Van Dyne show up dressed in their civilian clothes
"Sorry we're late, it was a real hassle getting Hank out of the lab" Janet said apologizing to the others
"I was busy discovering the electromagnetical current that a queen ant shares with her hive" Hank said with a sigh
"Either way I am glad that you two are here with us" Tony said to the two of them
"So Tony, why exactly did you bring us all here, this a field trip or something?" Hank asked Tony
"As I said to Ben, Thor and Hulk, this mansion will be our new home and base of operations" Tony answered
"Wait, so we get our own secret headquarters?" Janet asked getting excited
"It isn't exactly secret but it will definitely help us out" Tony answered
Tony then handed out cards to everyone, each card having their picture on it and a large "A" symbol on the back of it
"What are these Tony?" Ben asked Tony
"Well, I remembered how you said that we as a team would need a way to communicate with one another if all of us were separated so I created these I.D cards" Tony answered
"What exactly are they used for?" Janet asked Tony
"Yeah, do I get discounts at certain stores?" Ben asked jokingly
"Unfortunately no, but if you are in need of help and or we all need to come together, these I.D cards will do that, all you need to say is that battle cry we came up with" Tony answered
"If you press this button…"Pepper said to Hulk before he interrupted her
"I'm not stupid" Hulk said to Pepper as he pulled the card away from her and put it in his pocket
"Okay, I will admit these are kind of impressive but I have a feeling these aren't why you brought us here" Hank said
"You would be correct, now for a tour of the mansion" Tony replied as the doors to the mansion opened up behind him
Time Skip
Avengers Mansion: New York City
Ben and the others walked into the mansion, following behind Tony as they entered the main entrance of the mansion. Janet couldn't believe that this place was real, Ben knew Tony had money but this was something else, even Hulk was a bit impressed but he wasn't going to say anything.
"Okay, this is the main level of the mansion, it has a dinning hall, a game room, a living room, a fully stocked kitchen and a few other rooms as well, there's also a personal chef who is on call" Tony said to the others as he started his tour of the mansion
"I'm hungry" Hulk said as he pushed past the others and headed to kitchen
"As I was saying, upstairs is where all of the rooms are located, there's ones for Ben, Thor and Hulk as well as you Jan and Hank, for when you want to stay here" Tony said to the others
"Hello Thor Odinson, Benjamin Tennyson, Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne" a computer voice said from nowhere
"What sorcery tis this?" Thor asked looking around for the source of the voice
"What's going on?" Ben asked looking around
"Don't worry guys, that's just JARVIS, he's my personal A.I and he is hooked into the mansion's systems, thinking of him like a butler who will help you with anything" Tony answered
"I must inform master Tennyson that his car has finally arrived here from Stark Tower" JARVIS said
"Took them long enough" Ben said
"Yeah, Ben your car is parked in the garage, I'll give you the access key to the doors as well as the front and back gates, so you can leave with the car" Tony said to Ben
After that, Tony showed everyone the rest of the mansion, showing them the gym, the sauna, the back yard and the rest of the upper levels of the mansion
"All of this seems real nice Tony but come on, it's just a clubhouse" Hank said, sounding unimpressed
"Oh don't worry Hank, there is plenty more to be seen" Tony said to Hank with a grin on his face
Time Skip
Sublevels: Avengers Mansion
Down under the Avengers Mansion in the sublevels, Ben and the others were impressed with what they had seen
"Down here in the sublevels of the mansion is where we will be doing most of our work, it's got a few labs that Hank can use, it's also got a training room" Iron said as he showed the others around the sublevels
"What's with the waterfall, is that the swimming pool?" Hank asked sarcastically
"Actually, one of the pools is on the roof, this is for something else" Tony answered with a smirk as he pressed
Suddenly a large metal platform moved out from behind the waterfall with a large high tech jet on it
"Woah, what's that?" Ben asked in awe
"That there my friends is the quinjet, it is a high-tech aircraft vehicle that can fly anywhere on the planet and is even capable of going deep underwater and in the vacuum of space" Tony answered, explaining what the quinjet could do
"Ooh, can I fly it, please can I fly it?" Janet asked Tony, sounding desperate to fly the quinjet
"Sure, I don't see why not" Tony answered
"Why would we need such a thing?" Thor asked Tony
"Well Thor, not all of us are capable of flight and who knows where all of the remaining 73 villains are" Tony answered
"Speaking of all of those villains, where exactly are we putting them?" Ben asked Tony
"Good question Ben, with all of our supermax prisons pretty much out of commission, I've had a talk with a good friend of mine, Reed Richards and apparently he has discovered a new dimension he calls the Negative Zone, I've asked him and he has agreed to help us build a prison to hold all of the escaped 74 supervillains as well as any new ones we arrest along the way" Tony answered
"The Negative Zone, what is it exactly?" Wasp asked Tony
"The Negative Zone is an empty dimension that has no life in in as well as having no end to it and there's only one way in and out" Tony answered, explaining what the Negative Zone was
"Sounds kind of like the Null Void" Ben said, speaking up
"The Null Void?" Tony asked
"The Null Void is an infinite prison dimension, created by the smartest minds in my universe, it was created to house the worst of the worst, there are no walls in there, just an endless void that only a small select few have ever escaped from" Ben answered, explaining what the Null Void was
"Sounds like a good place to store all of our criminals" Tony said
"Unfortunately you need a Null Void projector to access the dimension and I don't have all of the parts to build one, also I really wouldn't recommend throwing anyone in the Null Void" Ben replied
"Why's that?" Janet asked Ben
"Let's just say there are giant monsters roaming around there and well you can never escape so rehabilitation is off the menu" Ben answered
"That is an interesting take Ben" Hank said, sounding impressed with Ben
"Looks like we'll just have to stick with the Negative Zone plan instead" Tony said with a sigh
Ben knew that Tony really wanted to see more of the tech Ben brought with him from his universe, especially the omnitrix. Knowing Tony's bad habits of trying to outdo and improve technology would be a bad thing in the end if Ben let Tony use tech that was more advanced then anything he was use to.
"Alright then, let's check out the training room" Tony said
Time Skip
HARM Room: Sublevels
After all of that, Tony then lead Ben and the others to a large room that appeared to have nothing in it. Ben and the others were confused as to why Tony brought them here. They all thought that Tony was going to be showing them the mansion's training room, not this.
"Hey Tony, I thought you were going to show us the training room" Janet said, looking around at the empty room
"What even is this room?" Ben asked
"It's called the HARM room" Tony answered
"Why is it called that?" Ben asked confused
"You'll see" Tony answered
Suddenly, Tony pressed a button that caused massive walls to appear and separate all of the heroes from each other
"What the?" Ben asked confused
Suddenly in each area a specialized trap appeared, one for each of the heroes to deal with. Janet had to deal with flying drones that were shooting all types of bullets and lasers at her. Hank had to deal with moving platforms that had buzz saws come out of everywhere. Thor had to deal with falling into a pit while large cubes fell down on him. Hulk had to deal with a long corridor where all of the walls were slowly closing in on him. Ben had to deal with spikes coming out of the walls, floor and ceiling that were being shoot at him.
"What the heck Tony, this isn't funny" Ben said as he dodged the spikes being shot at him
Tony didn't respond or say anything, he was watching all of them from a room high above, looking down from a window
"Fine then" Ben said as he activated the omnitrix and transformed
In a flash of green light, Ben transformed into the alien that he had selected, when the green light faded away, it was revealed what he had transformed into. Ben had transformed into a tall and bulky humanoid alien who's body was made of a pale green crystal. Two large crystal spikes could be seen coming out of the back of the alien and the omnitrix badge could be seen in the center of the alien's chest.

This alien was Ben's own Petrosapien form that he called Diamondhead
"Time to put a stop to this" Ben said as he formed a crystal dome around himself, protecting himself from the shooting spikes
Ben then hit the floor, causing a layer of crystal to form on the walls, floor and ceiling, stopping the spikes from shooting at him. The others dealt with their rooms rather quickly and easy without much difficulty. Janet destroyed the drones with ease, Hank shrunk down and destroyed the mechanism controlling the buzz saws. Thor was able to make it out of the pit and destroyed anything that tried to hit him, while the Hulk let the walls crush him to no effect. When it was all said and done, the room returned to normal and Tony came down to congratulate the heroes.
"What was that supposed to be Tony?" Ben asked Tony
"Where you trying to kill us?" Janet asked Tony
"Don't worry it was just a training exercise" Tony told them
"It was too easy" Hulk said with a grunt
"That's because I set it to level 1, all in all there are 10 levels and counting, each one more difficult then the last" Tony said
"Well, I'm done for the day, no more exercises" Ben said before he transformed back into his human form
"Okay, well then, now you all know any of you can use the HARM room and you all should know your way around the mansion, I've got a meeting to get to so I will see you all later" Tony said to Ben and the others before he left
Time Skip
Ben's Room: Avengers Mansion
After everything that happened down in the sublevels, everyone went their separate ways. Hank went back to his lab while Janet left for important business, Tony left for a meeting while Ben stayed at the mansion with Thor and Hulk. Sitting down on his bed, Ben couldn't believe that he was here and was apart of all this. He was once again a member of a team, even after he refused to be a hero. Thinking back on it, Ben never wanted to join a team again and just wanted to live a normal life. He still remembers how all of this started after he and the others defeated Graviton.
Flashback
Stark Tower: New York City
"So you are really telling me that you can transform into thousands of aliens and you are from another universe?" Nick Fury asked Ben
"Actually it's millions and yes, once again I am from another universe" Ben answered, sounding annoyed
After defeating Graviton and revealing himself to Fury and the other heroes, Nick Fury wanted to bring Ben in for questioning. Luckily for Ben, the heroes he teamed up with wouldn't let that happen but Ben was still more then willing to answer questions elsewhere. That is why they are standing in Stark Tower where Ben is doing all that he can to answer Fury's questions.
"I still don't believe you, other universes don't exist" Fury said, refusing to believe Ben
"Look one eyed Willy, I don't care if you believe me or not, I know I'm not from this universe, other universes do exist and I don't care how or why I ended up here" Ben told Fury, sounding annoyed
"Come on Fury, you gotta admit the kid doesn't seem like he is lying" Tony said to Fury, trying to get the director of S.H.I.E.L.D to believe Ben
Fury looked at Ben and could see the serious look on his face and being a spy for as long as he had, Fury could see that Ben wasn't lying to him
"Fine, I guess I will believe you for now, but I will check on that other universe story" Fury said sternly
"As long as you get off of my back, I don't care" Ben said with a sigh of relief
"Since you say you are from another universe, does this mean this yours?" Fury asked Ben, showing him a holographic image of his car
"Yeah, that's my car" Ben answered, excited to see his car after believing to have lost it
"It is a super high tech, none of my scientists could get inside of it" Fury said
"Duh, Galvan tech is better then anything you've got" Ben replied
"I will have it sent here later tonight however, I am going to suggest that you come with me, so we can monitor you and see who and what you really are" Fury told Ben
"And like we said before, you aren't taking him at all" Tony told Fury
"Sorry Fury but we know you just want to make him a weapon" Hank said, speaking up
Ben backed away from Fury and stood next to the others as they defended him
"Yeah, Ben is a member of our team" Janet said
"Wait a minute" Ben said speaking up
"What is it Ben?" Janet asked Ben
"I never agreed to be apart of your team, me helping you was a one time thing, I never want to be a hero again" Ben answered, declining to join the heroes
"But why Ben?" Janet asked confused
"Like I said before, being a hero has brought me nothing but pain" Ben answered
Janet was confused by what Ben meant by that, she could see a look of pain on his face as talked about it
"What happened exactly?" Hank asked Ben
"Because I was a hero, all of my family is dead, my friends are dead and the girl I loved is dead, I have no one left in my life and it's because of this thing" Ben answered, pointing at the omnitrix as tears began to fall down his face
None of the heroes or even Fury were expecting to hear that, all of then couldn't believe that happened to Ben
"My nemesis made me choose between my grandfather and the girl I loved, only to kill them both right in front of me" Ben said, continuing telling everyone what had happened
As Ben broke down, Janet came over and hugged Ben tightly, Tony, Hank and Thor were speechless
"And to make matters worse, everyone I saved and protected ended up turning their backs on me and saw me as a monster when I put a stop to that evil being" Ben said as he continued to cry
Hulk who was quiet for some reason grew angry, hearing Ben talk about what had happened to him. For whatever reason, the Hulk felt a connection with Ben and understood what he was going through.
"That is why I will never be a hero again and tonight is the last heroic thing I do" Ben said as he wiped away his tears and broke free from Janet's hug
"Then I guess that's more of a reason you should come with me, S.H.I.E.L.D can help you and you can help us by letting us learn more about that" Fury said, pointing at the omnitrix
"So you can turn him into a weapon? He's more safer staying with us then going to S.H.I.E.L.D with you" Hank told Fury
Ben immediately backed away from Fury and held his hand over the omnitrix
"Listen Ben, I won't try to understand what you are going through but we could really use your help on our team, without you, we probably wouldn't have stopped Graviton" Tony said Graviton
"You would have found a way without me" Ben replied, wiping his face with his arm
"We could have but the destruction could have been greater and who knows how many people could have died" Janet said to Ben, looking over at Hank
"I guess you are right but still, I just can't do it" Ben replied grabbing his arm
"You don't have to decided right away but know we've got your back kid" Tony told Ben
"He actually does because I'm not waiting here any longer" Fury said as frustrated as he walked over to Ben
Both Thor and Hulk stepped forwards and stopped Fury from going near Ben
"Let me through" Fury demanded
"No" Hulk told Fury
"Young Ben needs time to decide, leave now" Thor told Fury
"Fine, I've got places to be anyways, I will be back in the morning, you have until then to decided what you want to do" Fury told Ben before he left the room
"You sure made him mad" Hank said, sounding impressed
"Ben you can stay here in the tower tonight and think of what you want to do, I've got to go but if you need anything don't be afraid to ask" Tony told Ben
"The troll and I will also be here if thou needs to talk" Thor told Ben
"Hank and I have got to go but we'll be back tomorrow" Janet told Ben
Ben still couldn't believe that all of these people were sticking up for him and were there for him, even though they didn't know him. This was something Ben wasn't use to, after being hated by mostly everyone this was a real change.
"Thanks everyone, I'm gonna go get some sleep" Ben said to everyone
Time Skip
Later that night, Ben woke up to the familiar sight of seeing everyone he cared for dead, their bodies all on the ground and him, in a pool of their blood
"NO!!!" Ben yelled as she shoot up from his slumber
Looking around, Ben saw that he was still in his room at Stark Tower, just covered head to toe in sweat instead of blood
"Why do I keep seeing them?" Ben asked angered as he got up
Unable to sleep, Ben wandered around the tower, trying to think of something that would either occupy his time or help him get back to sleep. Fortunately for Ben, he found the kitchen and decided to make himself a smoothie. After doing so, Ben decided to go and check out his car, he wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with it or that Tony's scientists weren't messing with it. As Ben was about to head down to the garage level of the tower, he walked past a room and saw Thor sitting down by a fireplace, reading a book.
"Ah, young Ben, I see thou is awake this late at night" Thor said to Ben
"Yeah, unfortunately I can't exactly get much sleep like I use to do" Ben replied
"I see, perhaps thou would like to sit and talk about thine problem?" Thor asked Ben
"Sure I guess" Ben answered as he walked into the room and sat down in a chair across from Thor
"So what troubles you young Ben?" Thor asked Ben as he sat the book he was reading down
Ben was unsure if he should tell Thor about the nightmares he was having but seeing the look of sincerity on Thor's face, Ben felt as though he could trust him
"The thing is, I keep having nightmares, they really aren't nightmares just me remembering what happened that day when my family and friends were killed" Ben told Thor, explaining why he couldn't sleep
"I see, thou keeps seeing the moment that brought you great pain, I can understand that" Thor said, understanding Ben
"You have nightmares too?" Ben asked Thor
"Whilst I no longer have them, thou has seen many a great Asguardian warriors lose sleep after having fought many battles, losing friends and much more" Thor answered
"You lost someone too?" Ben asked Thor
"I lost thy mother during an invasion of Dark Elves, thou failed in protecting her and that loss haunted me for a very long time" Thor answered, clenching his fist from remembering the pain
"How were you able to overcome that loss?" Ben asked Thor
"Whilst I never have forgotten the pain of losing her, I try thine best to know that I will meet her one day in the great halls of Valhalla when my time comes" Thor answered
"I don't think I will see any of my loved ones in Valhalla, I don't think I can easily move on from this" Ben said with a sigh
"Listen young Ben, you are a great hero and it takes time for pain to fade away but you should know that your family is smiling upon you as they watch you continue to fight and do what is right" Thor said to Ben, putting his hand on his shoulder
Thinking about it, Ben knew that if he stopped doing what was right for his own selfish reason, his family would have died for nothing. While the pain of losing them still hurt him, he wouldn't be carrying on their legacy if he gave up.
"It takes time for the pain to go away but remember that as long as you don't forget the ones you love and continue fighting for them you can overcome anything" Thor tells Ben
Ben let's out a sigh, everything Thor has told him was right and maybe it would be best for him to move on. However moving on did not mean that Ben had to forget his friends and family altogether. If Ben forgot them and what they stood for, the things they taught him, it might as be killing them all over again and that was something Ben didn't want.
"Thank you Thor, you really put things into perspective for me" Ben said to Thor, thanking him for his advice
"Tis a pleasure to help a friend in need, if thou finds themselves in need of more help do not be afraid to ask" Thor tells Ben
"You'll be the first person I talk to you" Ben said
Time Skip
Parking Garage: Stark Tower
After having a conversation with Thor and getting some extremely helpful advice from the God of Thunder, Ben went down to the parking garage. There, he found his familiar looking black car with its green "X" on the hood. The car looked as though it didn't have a single scratch on it. Looking at the car brought memories of Ben hanging out with Gwendolyn and Kevin.
"Kevin did make just about as indestructible as his second car" Ben said with a pleasant sigh as he walked up to the car
Walking to around the car, Ben stopped at the trunk and used the omnitrix to unlock
"Omnitrix Recognized: DX Mark 10 Unlocked" the car said in a computerized voice as it made a beeping noise
Ben opened the trunk of his car and saw all of the boxes inside that were full of different items. They were items that he had collected all throughout his journey of being a hero. There were items he collected from the summer vacation when he got the prototype omnitrix. There were items from when he was 11 and that summer vacation. Ben eve had items when he, Gwendolyn and Kevin formed a team and took on the Highbreed and other threats. Ben also had a box full of the stuff he collected when, he, Rook, Gwendolyn, Kevin and Kai went on that universal road trip after he saved all of reality.
"Those were the days" Ben said to himself with a sigh as he closed the trunk and locked it
Ben then went and sat down in the driver seat of his car, sitting back and putting his hands on the wheel. He thought about driving out of there and vanishing. However, Ben knew that Fury had probably set up security all over New York City, especially outside Stark Tower. So even if Ben wanted to escape from there, there wasn't any point in trying. Something did happen as Ben thought about testing his luck with leaving, he remembered what Thor had told him early.
"I don't think I will" Ben said to himself

Stark Tower: New York City
Up in the main lobby of Stark Tower, Tony, Janet, Hank, Thor and Hulk along with Nick Fury were waiting for Ben to show up and give them his answer on what to do
"Kid is taking awhile" Tony said as he checked the time
"Young Master Tennyson hasn't left the building sir" JARVIS told Tony
"None of my scouts reported him leaving last night" Fury said
"Of course you would watch my building all night" Tony replied sarcastically
At that moment walked through the doors and into the room
"Look who decided to show up" Fury said
"Hey kid" Tony said with a wave
"Sorry for keeping you all waiting but I had a lot to think about last night and this morning" Ben said to everyone, apologizing to them
"So, have you decided on what you want to do?" Tony asked Ben
"Yes I have, I've decided on what I want to do" Ben answered
"And what is it then?" Fury asked Ben, wanting to know his answer
"I've decided to stay with Tony and the others and join them, no offense Willy but I don't trust you or S.H.I.E.L.D, especially after everything that happened, so I'm gonna stay with people I trust" Ben answered backing away towards Tony and the others
Fury was going to say something but he knew there was no point in trying, Ben had made up his mind and the heroes weren't going to let him take Ben
"Since we're a team now we should call ourselves something" Janet said
"I don't really think we need a team name, it's kind of childish" Hank said
"I don't know Pym, Jan is onto something, we definitely need a team name" Tony said, agreeing with Janet
"Well, what are we going to call ourselves then?" Ben asked
"Uh, how about the Superior Six?" Janet suggested
"Sounds like a villain team name" Tony said
"How about the Avengers?" Ben suggested
"Huh, Avengers? Doesn't sound too bad" Tony said
"Has a real nice ring to it" Hank said
"Good name" Hulk said
"We shall avenge those who've been wronged" Thor says as he tosses up Mjölnir and catches it
"Guess it's official, we're the Avengers" Janet said sounding excitedly
"What shall our battle cry be?" Thor asked
"Battle cry?" Ben asked confused
"You know, something we shall shout as we enter battle, something to strike fear in to the hearts of thine enemies" Thor answered
"I think I get it" Hank said
"How about Avengers together?" Janet suggested
"I don't know, doesn't sound like a battle cry to me" Tony said while trying to think of a battle cry
Ben's catchphrase or battle cry had always been "Its Hero Time" but he had a feeling it wasn't going to work in this scenario. Eventually Ben did come up with something that he though just might work and something that the others would like.
"I've got something that might work" Ben said, speaking up
"Lay it on us kid" Tony said
"How about Avengers Assemble?" Ben asked
After Ben gave them his idea, the other members of the Avengers began to think, at first Ben thought they weren't going to like it but eventually they all showed they did
"That could actually work" Tony says
"It works perfectly" Janet said sounding excited
"Tis a mighty battle cry indeed" Thor said sounding cheerful
"The villains will know who we are and not to mess with us" Ben says
All together, Ben, Janet, Hank, Tony, Thor and Hulk put their hands in a circle and shouted out their battle cry as Fury watched
"AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!"
As Fury watched all of this happen, he wondered if letting these heroes form this team could end up doing some real good. They would surely take a lot off of his plate if they were the ones to go after all of the escaped 74 villains. Fury could focus on other things while they did that but they'd also keep a leash on the Hulk and make sure he didn't do anything bad. All in all this Avengers team seemed like something Fury could get behind but there was just one problem that he didn't like and it was Ben.
He didn't fully believe that he was from another universe and for the moment didn't fully believe that he wasn't the one who caused the breakout. The others made it known that they wouldn't let Fury just take Ben and hold him, there was no way he and S.H.I.E.L.D could survive an attack from all of these heroes, especially with the condition S.H.I.E.L.D was in right now.
"Looks like you Avengers have some work to do, I'll be heading out now but just remember that I will be watching all of you…especially you" Fury said, pointing ng at Ben
"Don't worry Fury, you won't have to worry about me" Ben told Fury
"It's my job to worry, just keep your noses clean" Fury tells
With that, Fury walked out of the room leaving Ben and the others by themselves, all of them a team now. The Avengers would take on any threat that would come their way, no matter the cost they wouldn't give up.
Flashback Over
Ben's Room: Avengers Mansion
Looking back on that day and thinking about all of it, Ben began to wonder why he agreed to join the team in the first place. Ben honestly figured he didn't have much of a choice in the matter, he didn't want to be taken by S.H.I.E.L.D and be their play thing and he also didn't want to be alone in this world. Then there was his talk with Thor, what the God of Thunder said to Ben made him realize that he needed to be a hero to honor his family. Even then, Ben still wasn't sure that he was ready to be on another team and be a hero, even if he did play a big part in the defeat of Graviton.
Besides Ben himself, he actually wondered if it was a good idea for all of them to be a team. Tony tried to act like a leader but didn't do a very good job at leading them. Hank really wasn't much of the hero type, he was more of a scientist and was only here because of Janet. Speaking of Janet, she was a bit flighty as Ben noted and it came off to him that Janet saw this as a fun game at times. However, she did have her moments and acted like a big sister to Ben.
Moving on there was Thor, who surprised Ben as being an actual God and not someone with godlike powers. He was warrior first, hero second and it clearly showed however, Ben knew that Thor had a good heart and would do whatever was right. Last amongst them was the Hulk, the Hulk was a mysterious person who Ben hadn't figured out yet. Apparently as Janet and Tony told him, the Hulk was an ordinary guy by the name of Bruce Banner.
Bruce was working with gamma radiation for the military and an accident caused his alternate personality to take form as the Hulk. Ben saw the Hulk and Bruce as a sort of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type of situation. So the reason why the Hulk was staying here seemed like a real mystery to Ben. Maybe the Hulk didn't leave because he wasn't being hunted down by S.H.I.E.L.D or the military as long as he stayed with the Avengers.
Either way, all six of them didn't seem like people who should be on a team with one another. Yes they did defeat Mandrill and bring him in together but Ben wondered how long all of this would last.
"Master Tennyson" JARVIS said, getting Ben's attention
"What is it JARVIS?" Ben asked
"It appears as though Hulk has left the mansion and is now fighting Thor" JARVIS answered
"That doesn't sound good" Ben said with a gulp as he heard the sound of fighting coming from outside
Quickly Ben got up and ran out of his room to go and stop Thor and Hulk before they destroyed half of the city fighting. Little does Ben know, this is all apart of a hidden watcher's plan and Ben has fallen right for it.

Hello there readers, here is the 5th chapter of Avenging, I hope you all enjoyed it and are ready for more. This chapter you got to see Ben and the others get a tour of Avengers Mansion as well as see what happened after the fight with Graviton. As for alien transformations, this chapter you got to see Diamondhead be used. You will get to see more aliens used in the next chapter as I am sure those who've watched the show what is coming next. My plan right now is to get at least two chapters from an episode so I can split each episode up and get plenty more chapters out.
Moving on, I am having a new story released for a day of the week each week till I have seven stories all together. I've got most them already done and I'm just waiting to publish them. I'm only needing one more and I can't think of a crossover to do. That is why I want to ask you readers for some ideas on what crossover I should do. I think I want to do a TMNT crossover but I don't know which series I should use. Should I use the TMNT from 2003, the TMNT from 2012 or the TMNT from 2018. If you don't want to see a Ben 10/TMNT crossover let me know which one you would like to see instead.
I don't know if I will do a TMNT crossover but it is an idea that I've had in my head for awhile now. Like I said before, if there is a crossover that you would like to see done instead let me know, you can comment here or you can PM me with your suggestion. I would like to know what you readers would like to see done. Moving on now, I will now be responding to all of your comments from the last chapter.
Maxtime: Yeah, thanks for that, I really did try to do something different for that last chapter that hadn't been done before. Everyone thought I was going to use Gravattack for the fight against Graviton and using him to stop the city from falling. I still do intend to use the Omniverse designs for most of Ben's aliens but I am also finding designs I do like more. The whole theme of this story is about Ben overcoming his trauma slowly so that he can become a hero once more without forcing himself to be one. I can't say for sure if some omniversal stuff will happen but I will say keep an eye out.
Maximum Rhapsody: I am well aware of that and as I've said before, I do plan on Ben teaming up with other heroes who aren't Avengers

HeroTime34: As I've already stated and answered this question multiple times, yes I will have non-cannon transformations in the story. I will also have transformations from the reboot, I just don't know when I'll have them appear.
DactumB: Sorry, I can't answer that question, I would love to but I really can't answer it. You are just going to have to wait and see if I add ultimates to the story.
