Previously
Last time, the Asguardian known as the Enchantress casted a spell on the Hulk and made him fight Ben and the other Avengers. With some help from the consciousness of Bruce Banner, the Hulk was able to break free from Enchantress's enchantment. However, the damage had been done and the Avengers were badly beaten. After the Hulk jumped off, the Enchantress and her Executioner faced off with the Avengers.
Having already fought the Hulk, Ben and the other Avengers weren't much of a match for the two Asguardians. Eventually it took the combined effort of Ben who had turned into Ultimate Echo Echo and the Hulk who had come back to defeat the Enchantress and the Executioner. After the battle Hulk left Ben and the Avengers thinking that the others saw him as a monster. Ben was able to catch up to the Hulk and gave him a Plumber badge so the two could communicate with one another.
The Quinjet: Above The Artic Circle
Flying above the frozen tundra of the artic circle was the Avengers in their quinjet. Ben and the other Avengers ventured this far up because they were searching for the Hulk who was still missing. Fury had told the Avengers to bring the Hulk back or S.H.I.E.L.D and the military would go after the Hulk. Not wanting that to happen, Tony tracked the Avengers I.D card the Hulk had and found that he was in the artic circle.
"Remind me why we are up here again" Janet says as she sits in her seat
"The Hulk ran away and didn't come back so we are looking for him" Tony explained to Janet
"I got that part but why are we up in Antarctica?" Janet asked, looking outside at all of the snow and ice
"Because I tracked Hulk's Avengers I.D card to this location" Tony answered
"Plus, the local fishermen said they saw a giant green monster jumping this way" Ben said, speaking up
Once all of that was established, the Avengers continued their search for the Hulk. Ben knew that there was a good chance that the Hulk wasn't in the artic anymore given that he had last talked to the Hulk a week ago. Ben had given the Hulk Kevin's old Plumber badge so that they could talk to one another. Ben didn't tell the other Avengers, especially Tony because he knew that the Hulk needed space. Ben also knew that Tony had been basically begging to get his hands on any tech from Ben's universe and Ben knew that was a bad idea.
"Hey guys, I think you should see this" Hank said to the other Avengers
Ben and the other Avengers looked out the quinjet's windows and saw a massive crater in the ice
"Looks like he's been here" Ben said, pointing out more craters that were next to each other
"Let's head down and take a look, everyone suit up" Tony told the other Avengers as he put on his Iron Man helmet
Time Skip
Crater: Artic Circle
After spotting all of the craters, the Avengers decided to land the quinjet and investigate the area. Immediately as they stepped out of the quinjet they all were hit by the strong frozen winds and the cold.
"I can barely see anything" Ben said as he covered his face
"It is freezing" Wasp said as she held herself, shivering
"My sensors are picking up faint traces of gamma radiation" Iron Man said
"Sure sign the Hulk has been here" Ant-Man said
"We must continue the search through the blizzard" Thor says, aiming Mjölnir forwards
With that, Ben and the other Avengers begin their trek through the snow in search of the Hulk. After walking for an hour, Wasp flew over to Ben and began to mess with Ben's omnitrix.
"Jan, what are you doing?" Ben asked Wasp as he pulled the omnitrix away from her
"I…I need you turn into a fire alien or some alien that is warm" Wasp told Ben as she shivered
"Sorry Jan but I need to save the battery on this thing just in case we get into trouble out here" Ben tells Wasp
"Hey Ben, do you happen to have an alien that can track the Hulk through this blizzard?" Ant-Man asks Ben
"Yeah, my sensors keep freezing over and I can't follow the gamma trail the Hulk left behind" Iron Man said to Ben
"Actually, I do have an alien that can do that" Ben replied as he activated the omnitrix
Quickly scrolling through the omnitrix playlist, Ben found the icon of the alien that would help him track the Hulk. Once he selected the alien, the faceplate slid back and the omnitrix core popped up. Slamming it down, Ben became engulfed in a bright green light as he was transformed into the alien that he had selected. Once the green light faded away, it was revealed that Ben had transformed into a large alien who had bright orange fur and looked like a cross between a large dog and gorilla with no eyes and gills on its neck. The alien had large fangs, canine-like paws and quills on the back of its neck with the omnitrix badge located on a green and white collar. This alien was Ben's own Vulpimancer transformation that he called Wildmutt

Ben as Wildmutt let out a loud roar as he slammed his paw down on the ground
"Oh thank goodness, warmth" Wasp said as she flew and landed down on Ben, burying herself in his fur
"Okay Ben, go and find the Hulk" Iron Man told Ben
Ben began to sniff the ground as the gills on his neck opened up
"I do not see how friend Ben will be able to locate the Hulk with the lack of eyes or a nose" Thor says
Before anyone could say anything, Ben let out an alerting growl before running off into the blizzard, following a scent he picked up
"Looks like we follow him" Ant-Man said
With that, Iron Man, Thor and Ant-Man followed behind Ben as he ran through the snow
Time Skip
It had been at least 30 minutes since Ben began to follow the scent he had picked up. Thanks to Wildmutt's superior Vulpimancer senses, navigating through the blizzard was no trouble. Eventually though, Ben did come to point where he could no longer track the Hulk and sensed something different.
"Is something wrong Ben?" Wasp asks Ben, worried
"Did you lose the scent?" Iron Man asks Ben
Ben turns around and shakes his head, making dog and animal-like noises
"Too bad we can't understand him" Ant-Man says
"I see, the scent has faded away" Thor says as he listens to Ben
"Wait a minute Thor, you understand Ben?" Iron Man asks Thor
"Thou does not?" Thor asks Iron Man and Ant-Man
"All I hear are growls" Iron Man answers
"How do you know what he is saying?" Ant-Man asks Thor
"Asguardians have this gift known as the allspeak, it allows thy self and other Asguardians to understand all languages" Thor answers, explaining to the other Avengers how he is able to understand Ben in his Vulpimancer form
"What is he saying then Thor?" Wasp asks Thor, wanting to know what Ben is saying
"Friend Ben states that he has lost the scent of the Hulk however, his senses have picked up something different and faint off in that direction" Thor answers, telling the others what Ben is saying while pointing towards the direction Ben is looking at
Once the Avengers understood that, Ben let out an annoyed sigh, he was glad that Thor was here to translate for him otherwise they'd be stuck there forever
"You know what, my sensors are also picking something up towards that way" Iron Man said
"I wonder what it could be" Ant-Man says
"Janet, you and Ben go and check it out" Iron Man tells Wasp and Ben
"Really?" Wasp asks
"Don't worry, as long as you stay with Ben, you shouldn't get lost" Ant-Man tells Wasp
"I guess you are right, come on Ben" Wasp says as she directs Ben towards the direction of the unknown signature
Ben sniffs the ground and starts moving forwards, tracking down the faint signature
"I swear, if I get eaten by a snow monster, I'm going to haunt all of you" Wasp told the others as her and Ben walked through the blizzard
Ben continued to walk towards the source of the faint signature until he stopped. Wasp was hovering over Ben and continued flying straight, past Ben. Ben made a noise trying to get Wasp's attention but she was focused on talking.
"I'm not seeing anything guys, I think the cold is getting…" Wasp was saying until she ran into a block of ice
Wasp hits the ice and ends up falling down into the snow, growing back to full size as she rubs her head
"Ouch" Wasp says
"Friend Ben says watch out" Thor tells Wasp
"I must have missed that" Wasp says annoyed as she stands up and dusts the snow off of her
"My scanners tell me the signature is right in front of us" Iron Man says
Ben made some noises, trying to talk to the other Avengers
"friend Ben says he senses a heartbeat or at least a faint one" Thor says, speaking for Ben
"My sensors are picking that up as well" Iron Man says
"My question is who would be all the way out here in the middle of a blizzard" Wasp says
"You guys should look at this" Ant-Man says, getting the attention of the other Avengers
Ben and the others look at the block of ice where Ant-Man is pointing and see a man in a torn red, white and blue outfit with a shield, frozen in the ice
"It can't be" Wasp says
"How is he still alive?" Ant-Man asks
"Who the heck is that guy?" Ben asks as he transforms back into his human form
"That Ben is Captain America and he's been dead for a long time" Iron Man answers
"Whoever told you that was a liar" Ben says as he starts to shiver
Time Skip
The Quinjet: Above The Ocean
Flying towards New York City, Ben and the other Avengers were headed back from the artic circle. Instead of finding the Hulk, they had found something else entirely. That something was Captain America aka Steve Rodgers. From what Iron Man and the other Avengers had told Ben, Captain America had fought in WWII and then suddenly disappeared, thought to be dead. They also explained that Captain America was given a serum that made him superhuman and allowed him to fight powerful threats during the war.
"So you are telling me that I am basically looking at a living legend here?" Ben asked the others
"All of us here grew up hearing stories about how Captain America fought the Nazis and HYDRA during the war" Iron Man tells Ben
"He's considered to be the first real superhero in this universe" Ant-Man explained to Ben
"I thought he had died back during the war so how did he end up in the ice?" Wasp asks
"I don't think that really matters, my question is how he stayed alive after all these years?" Ben asks looking at the thawing man on the table
"It's probably Dr. Erskine's super soldier serum that's kept him alive this long" Ant-Man answered
"My scanners are showing me that he's got no damage to his body on the outside as well internally" Iron Man said as he scanned Captain America's body
"You'd think he'd get a little bit of freezer burn after being in the ice for so long" Ben said, looking down at the Captain
"His body is in near perfect condition what ever Erskine's formula did, it really jacked him up" Iron Man said
"Guys, I think he's waking up" Ant-Man said
Ben and the Avengers looked down at Captain America and saw him slowly start to wake up. Ben could see that he was having some sort of nightmare as he woke up.
"Give him some space" Ben tells the other Avengers
Everyone slowly backs away from Captain America as he wakes up and looks around in a panic
"Where am I?" Captain America asks as he looks around the quinjet at all of the Avengers
"Captain, you've been asleep for a very long time now" Iron Man tells Captain America
Captain America looks around at Ben and all the Avengers and instantly thinks that he has been captured by HYDRA
"We're gonna get you somewhere safe where we can explain what is going on to you" Iron Man calmly tells the Captain
As Iron Man reaches out to Captain America, suddenly the old war hero reacts and kicks Iron Man in the side of the head
"I'm not going to let some HYDRA automaton get the jump on me" Captain America tells Iron Man
"Listen Captain thou has been asleep for a long time, we mean you no harm" Thor tells Captain America, trying to calm him down
"Listen pal, I'm not one to fall for HYDRA's lies" Captain America tells Thor
Iron Man tries to sneak up on Captain America but the Captain quickly grabs his shield and uses it to hit Iron Man and push him back. Thor tries to go in and help Iron Man by stopping Captain America but the Captain grabs Thor's arm and throws him over his shoulder.
"Ben do something" Wasp tells Ben
"What do you want me to do?" Ben asks Wasp, freaking out
"He's experiencing major PTSD, we need to give him some space" Ant-Man says
"Because that is what he clearly is going through right now" Ben says sarcastically as he dodges Captain America's shield being thrown around the inside of the quinjet
Captain America was still making quick work of Iron Man and Thor as he used his shield to block and attack while also throwing it around with precision
"I'm out of here" Captain America says as his shield hits the controls for the back bay door of the quinjet
With the controls destroyed the door opened, causing wind to flow into the quinjet as well as allowing Captain America to jump out and get away from the Avengers
"Ben, you and Janet go after the Captain and make sure he doesn't get himself hurt" Iron Man tells Ben
"Are you sure that is such a good idea?" Ben asks Iron Man
"The man made quick of you and Thor, I don't think he's going to get hurt" Wasp says
"He's about to see the world after a long time of being frozen, who knows what could happen" Iron Man tells the two
"I guess you are right, I'll do what I can to stop him" Ben says
"Or at least slow him down enough" Wasp says with a gulp
With that, Wasp shrunk down and flew out of the quinjet after Captain America. Ben stepped out towards the open back bay door and activated the omnitrix.
"Give me something that can fly" Ben says to the omnitrix quietly
Ben then jumps out of the quinjet as he activates the omnitrix, selecting and transforming into an alien. Ben was then quickly engulfed in a bright green light as he transformed into the alien that he selected. Once the green light faded away, it was revealed that Ben had transformed into a gorilla-like alien who's body was made of brightly colored blocks. This alien was Ben's own Segmentasapien transformation that he called Bloxx.

"Bloxx? What the heck? I said something that could fly omnitrix" Ben said, seeing that he didn't transform into an alien that could fly
Feeling the wind against his body, Ben looked down at the ground as he continued to fall. He could see Captain America down on Liberty Island, next to the statue of liberty. Not wanting to just fall Ben waited until he got close enough to the statue of liberty to stretch out his arms and grab ahold of the statue. Once he had ahold of the statue, Ben slowly extended his arms until he was safely on the ground.
Liberty Island: New York
Ben had safely made his way down to Liberty Island and was going to confront Captain America. Hopefully Ben would be able to stop the Captain before something bad happened.
"Captain, I'm going to need you to stop right there, I don't want to fight you, I just want to talk" Ben said to Captain America, trying to talk to him
"Sorry but I don't talk to HYDRA abominations" Captain America replied before he threw his shield at Ben
Ben quickly morphed his body, creating a hole for Captain America's shield to pass through as it was thrown at him
"I don't want to hurt you and I'm not with HYDRA" Ben tries to tell Captain America
All of a sudden, Captain America's shield hit Ben in the back, shattering his upper body into pieces as the shield returned to Captain America
"I think we're done here" Captain America said as he tightened the strap on his shield and began to walk awag
"Letting you know Captain, I'm not one to give up, I don't want you getting hurt and I don't want to hurt you" Ben said, getting Captain America's attention
Captain America stopped walking away and turned around to see Ben fully pull his body back together and reform it
"Looks like this isn't going to be an easy fight" Captain America said as he readied his shield
"It doesn't have to be" Ben said before he formed his hands into block lobbers
Ben then began to rapidly fire block pieces at Captain America as fast as he could. Captain America was able to dodge and get out of the way of the blocks being fired at him or use his shield to block then. Ben was impressed with how skilled Captain America was. That super soldier serum that Iron Man had brought up really made Captain America superhuman. Unfortunately for Ben, there was no real way he was going to be able to land a hit on Captain America unless he tried something different.
"Take this" Captain America said as he threw his shield at Ben
Ben tried to move his body out of the way but was unable to, resulting in Captain America's shield cutting him in half
"I could try trapping him but I don't think that is going to work" Ben said as he pulled his body back together
Ben watched as Captain America jumped up and caught his shield as it flew back towards him. Seeing the shield and knowing what it was made out of gave Ben an idea.
"If Bloxx won't work then how about we try Lodestar and take that shield away from you" Ben said as he hit the omnitrix badge on his chest and transformed into a different alien
Captain America readied himself and his shield as Ben transformed into a new alien. Once the green light faded away, it was revealed that Ben had transformed into a slime-like alien that had a green body and a small UFO flying above his head. This alien was Ben's own Polymorph transformation that he called Goop.

"Goop? I was going for Lodestar, man I wish Azmuth was here to fix this thing" Ben said with an annoyed sigh as he saw that he transformed into the wrong alien
"Change your form all you want, I've defeated everything HYDRA has ever thrown at me" Captain America said to Ben in a confident tone
"I don't know how many times I have to tell you I'm not HYDRA but hopefully I can knock some sense into you" Ben said as he readied himself
Quickly Ben morphed his body into a slime tendril and began to wrap himself around Captain America before the soldier could use his shield or get out of the way
"Maybe if I keep you still the others can arrive and help out" Ben said as he began to tighten himself around Captain America
"This…won't…hold me" Captain America said as he managed to break free, splattering Ben's body all over the place
Quickly the gravity projector was able to fly around and collect the pieces of Ben's body and put them back together
"That wasn't fun" Ben said as his body reformed itself
"There's plenty more where that came from" Captain America said before he threw his shield at Ben
Ben stretched his body out and let the shield pass right through it before he started throwing pieces of his slime body at Captain America
"Time to go on the offense" Ben said as he began throw parts of his body at Captain America
Making his slime acidic, Ben's slime began to burn the ground as Captain America easily avoided each slime ball being thrown at him. Eventually, Captain America's shield returned him and he was able to use it to charge forwards at Ben. Ben was hoping his acidic slime would be able to do something to Captain America's shield but slime just slid off.
"Enough of that" Captain America said as he threw his shield at Ben
The shield ended up hitting Ben's gravity projector and knocking it down to the ground. Without the gravity projector, Ben was unable to keep his body up as a solid mass. Falling to the ground and turning into a slime puddle Ben was unable to do anything.
"What the heck is that shield made out of?" Ben asked as Captain America walked over and picked up Ben's gravity projector
"Vibranium, one of the strongest and most useful metals on the planet" Captain America answered as his shield returned to his hand
Captain America then wound up his arm and was about to throw Ben's gravity projector away before he left
"Please don't do that" Ben begged Captain America
"Sorry but I don't need one of Armin Zola's failed experiments following after me" Captain America said before he threw Ben's gravity projector into the water
"Oh great" Ben said with an annoyed sigh as Captain America ran away
"What happened here?" Wasp asked as she looked around for Ben
"Down here" Ben said, getting Wasp's attention
"Ben!!! You're a puddle" Wasp said with a gasp
"Soldier boy threw my gravity projector into the water, I can't move my body around without it" Ben said moving his face down through the slime puddle
"Where did he go?" Wasp asked Ben
"I think he went towards the docks" Ben answered
"Don't move, I'll go stop him then I'll be back" Wasp tells Ben before she flies off
"Not like I can go anywhere in the first place" Ben said with a sigh
Time Skip
Towards the water, Captain America had made it to the edge of the island and had nowhere else to go. Looking around, Captain America saw a tourist boat with people on it. Immediately those people looked over and saw Captain America and began to take pictures. Captain America had no idea what was going on right now.
"Captain America, Steve Rodgers, I need you to stop" Wasp tells Captain America as she flies down towards him
"Just like I told Zola's experiment, I'm not going anywhere with you" Captain America tells Wasp as he readies his shield
Before the two of them could fight, Iron Man lands down between the two of them and stops them
"Come on Tony get over here and help me" Wasp tells Iron Man
"No, there doesn't need to be anymore fighting, this is all just a big misunderstanding" Iron Man says
"Finally come to your senses?" Captain America asks Iron Man
"Captain, none of us want to fight you, we aren't with HYDRA, we're the Avengers and we just want to help you" Iron Man tells Captain America
"You've all been telling me that and I still won't believe it" Captain America says
"If you don't believe me then just look over there" Iron Man tells Captain America, pointing across the water
Hesitantly, Captain America looks over to where Iron Man was pointing and saw something he hadn't expected to see. On a small island next to Liberty Island was a giant statue of Captain America and his sidekick Bucky. Seeing the statue, Captain America instantly falls to his knees in disbelief. He had no idea what happened to him and what was going on.
"I…I'm alive? I'm not in 1945 anymore" Captain America says in disbelief
"When you crashed into the ice it froze you but somehow you were able to stay alive" Iron Man explains to Captain America
"Did we win?" Captain America asks Iron Man
"Thanks to you the Red Skull was stopped and the war was able to be won" Iron Man tells Captain America
"If…If I were able to survive does that mean Bucky made it?" Captain America asks Iron Man sounding desperate
"Sorry Captain but everyone is taught in school how Captain America sacrificed their lives to win the war" Iron Man tells Captain America
"I'm the only one left" Captain America says defeated
"Look, if you come with us, we'll help through all of this" Iron Man tells Captain America, trying to get him to come with them
Captain America stands up and goes with both Iron Man and Wasp over to the quinjet that is landing down on the island. The bay door opens and they get inside of the quinjet but before they can go, Wasp and Iron Man hear a voice.
"Hey, uh, could you guys help me over here" the voice says
Looking over, Iron Man and Wasp see Ben still as Goop on the ground as a puddle since his gravity projector was thrown into the water
"Ben?" Iron Man asks in a confused tone
"Who else would it be?" Ben asks annoyed
"Thank goodness you said something, I almost forgot about you" Wasp says
"Lucky me" Ben says sarcastically
"Can't you just change back?" Iron Man asks Ben
"My omnitrix badge is on my gravity projector and someone threw it into the water" Ben answers, sliding his eyes down to look at Captain America
"Sorry about that" Captain America says, apologizing to Ben
"I'll go and get your projector then we'll head back over to the mansion" Iron Man tells Ben
"Thanks Tony, this is very much appreciated" Ben replies
And with that, the Avengers were able to get to Captain America and convince him that they were friends and not HYDRA soldiers. The Captain learned that he had been frozen in ice since the end of WWII and that he was now in the 21st century. With today calming down, none of the Avengers were prepared for what was coming for them now that it was known that Captain America was not actually dead. Hopefully the Avengers would be able to overcome this new threat and if not all of them would end up dead. That threat's name was Zemo, Barron Zemo and he would be one of the most dangerous threats the Avengers will have to face.

Hello there readers, here is the 7th chapter of Avenging, I hope you all enjoyed it. Ben and the other Avengers have found Captain America. The Captain really did a number on Ben and the other Avengers proving why he is one of the best. In the next chapter, Baron Zemo is going to make his appearance as he and Armin Zola attack Captain America and the Avengers. I am sorry that I didn't release a new chapter last week but something came up. You don't have to worry about anything, I am resuming my updating schedule. In this chapter, you got to see Wildmutt, Bloxx and Goop be used. You'll get to see even more transformations in the next chapter as well as some ultimates. Now, I am going to be responding to the comments from the last chapter.
R Reyes: I did think about doing the 2003 and version but the 2012 one did kind of have a better story and I did like the new characters that were introduced as well as some of the redesigns and reimagined ones. When it comes to polls, I honestly don't know how to do those on here and I kinda don't want to just count votes from the comment section.
