Hello everyone.

I found this on one of my files, as I couldn't continue writing due to writer's block. I know, they are evil as they come by. Took me a while, until I realize one thing 'Write what I feel and then fix the kinks in the end'. So this is the end result of it.

On the end of this short part, I will explain what I am working on so far and an interesting thing I might propose to someone.

So, without further ado, enjoy this new shot.

Bonus Chapter: A New Family
Bell was arriving on the 21st floor and looked concerned. He heard there was an attack around the area and he needed to see if Ray was okay. He looked around for anyone familiar.

He kept running, looking around "Lid! Wienne!"

Then out came a gray gargoyle, seeing Bell.

"Grosse! Is everyone okay?!"

He nodded "Yes. We were away from the attack. Ray is waiting for you."

He nodded and sighed in relief.

Groose gestured to him to follow him. He followed him and it was turn, after turn on the same floor. Then Groose pressed a part of the wall and it opened. Both went in and kept walking to the village.

They arrived as Wienne went to greet them.

"Bell!"

"Wienne!"

Both hugged as he checked up on her. "Are you okay?"

She nodded happily "Ray is waiting in the nest. She says it might be any day now. Does that mean I will be the big sister?"

He nodded "Yes. Yes you will."

She danced happily and she skipped to where Ray is. He noticed the other Xenos, eating and chatting a bit. Some of them greeted him. He kept walking until he reached an area, where two Xenos seem to be guarding something. Both looked at him and allowed him in, Wienne stayed behind.

He noticed Ray was sleeping on a very large nest with a tired expression. He looked closely and saw she was holding something close to her. He went over and laid next to her. He caresses her cheek gently. "Hello, my beautiful bird."

She smiled softly as her eyes opened.

"Hello Bell."

He keeps caressing her cheek "How's the egg?"

She moved her wing away and showed a unique white colored egg with yellow jagged lines on it.

"I felt it shake a few times. Our baby will be born."

He smiled and lay next to her.

It took the effort of Fels finding an obscure ritual and a night of passionate love for them to bring this egg. To them, it was a miracle, but they both knew for outsiders, it was an abomination. Since then, it was a secret that Bell kept at this point in time. Even to his goddess and familia, in order for them not to blab out this secret, until the right time.

"I felt it move recently….I am so excited."

He felt the egg move a little "Me too….it has been more than three years we have been together. And now a miracle is about to take place."

She nodded "I love you Bell."

"I love you too, Ray."

Both nuzzled as they held onto one another. They were at peace as Wienne went to grab two cups of water for them. From what she understands, things are finally working for the Xenos. As Bell and Ais were able to take down the Black Dragon, he was given any kind of reward. He desired for the Xenos to head to the surface.

People of course were hesitant and it has been a battle for almost a year. Yes, they helped out with the final battle, but that wasn't enough for it. He had hoped, but so far, it barely budged. He did eventually get the last dealings done being placed on an unoccupied district.

It was a long, hard work but it is close for that dream to become a reality. He just needs one push for it, just to give it a chance.

Bell and Ray stared at each other's eyes and he kissed her lips. She kisses back as he caresses her face.

"I am so glad you made it, Bell. I was a little nervous if today was the day, but it seemed a few poachers were around the area of this floor. We had to lay low, until we prayed that the area was open."

"It will."

Bell held on to her and closed his eyes as she did as well.

Wienne placed a blanket on them and smiled softly.

"I can't wait until I meet my little brother or sister!"

She went to see Fear and let them know how things are going with them, while the other older and capable fighting ones kept patrolling the area.

Three hours later
Both Bell and Ray were awakened by something shaking close to each other. They looked over and heard a small crack. They watched in awe as the egg was hatching. Bell slowly went over to help out a bit by taking a few pieces here and there.

Then a cry is heard.

The others ran to check it out and they were surprised by what they saw. Holding on her wings closely, a human baby with a tuft of teal color hair and red eyes.

Wienne was happy and was silent. "Is that…"

Bell nodded "A girl. A baby girl."

The baby stopped crying and was cooing. Ray smiled softly, still looking at the innocent bundle of joy. Her daughter. Something she would never ever think of having at all.

"What's her name?"

They looked at each other and nodded in unison.

"Her name is….Elpis." Bell said.

"Elpis?"

He nodded, "It means hope."

She smiled and nodded "It fits…."

One year later
Bell and Ray were walking toward the Pantheon and were confronted by various gods and people. They were murmuring about this and a few were hostile. In a rare occurrence, they had a screen where Ouranous was facing them. Both bow down in respect.

"Lord Ouranous."

He nodded "I suppose that we are here to give the agreement for the Xenos to live in the small area of the District, yes?"

Bell nodded "It has. We also talk to some of the Xenos and some are willing to head to the area, but some made the choice to stay behind. They do so as a way to welcome any new Xenos that are born and are helping them out."

"I see. That is acceptable."

A member of the noblemen rolled their eyes and sarcastically said "I suppose you expect us to believe we could get along with these….Xenos."

Bell looked at the man and replied "If you respect them in peace, they will return the favor. They know how the laws work around here."

"Pah! I don't understand what makes you, the hero of Orario, have this so-called privilege of loving monsters that could attack you at any moment."

"Because I trust them. More so than some humans."

He snorted "I don't understand why you would do so. Surely Miss Wallenstein would attest to it."

"Ais Wallenstein is good friends with them. She has fought alongside them and begun to understand them."

His eyes grew a bit narrow and noticed how close the harpy was with the white haired man. "I am starting to believe that harpy is manipulating you. I doubt she could give you what you desire, only you are into that."

Bell got up for a moment and looked at the man with no fear. The nobleman flinched a bit. Bell then said "When I met her, we barely knew one another. She saw who I was and that is when we got to know one another."

He then looked at Lyd and nodded. The lizardman went to pick something up.

"As time passed, I worked alongside them. Ray and I grew close, and we both fell in love with one another." Then in came a bundle the arms of Lyd and gave it to Bell. When he uncovered it, people saw a baby. "It took a ritual from Fels to bring a miracle in our lives."

The people were shocked. The hero had a child with Xenos. The women loved how the baby looked. The men, those that have been fathers, saw a precious blessing.

The nobleman, he saw an abomination. Something inside of him stirred hatred and wanted to kill it. He began to rush right at him, but he never made it to his fifth step until he was put down by Shakti. She shook her head in disappointment on how far humanity's own blinded hatred leads them to.

This caused some of the others who wanted to start to have problems with them to die right at that moment. Kidnapping the child would be out of the question as it would cause a larger conflict, and the Hero of Orario would be able to rally up his allies. They would have to swallow the bitter pill and just work with them.

Hestia, not far off, was so giddy about her grandchild. She knew it would be a handful in the future, but Elpis already won her heart. She would help them raise her.

Haruhime was overjoyed about the baby. Even though she was saddened by the relationship at first, the moment they asked her to be Elpis' official aunt, she grew joyful and giddy.

Lilli loved the child and is willing to protect her innocence at all cost.

Mikoto and Welf were happy with Bell.

Five years later
Bell arrived home. "I'm home!"

He then felt someone small trying to tackle him. He caught her and smiled down. A young girl with red eyes, yellow/teal long hair with a big bright smile on her face.

"Welcome home, papa!"

He smiled and caressed the pat on her head. She giggled.

"Welcome home, love."

He looked up and saw his wife, holding another baby in her arms. A boy with arms as wings, but with a white tuft of hair and red eyes.

"Thanks."

Life was good for Bell.

End.

A/N: I would admit, there isn't much of an adventure I could deal with to be honest. Just a bunch of jump scenes and that is it.

Now, I am in the process of an overhaul of Brighter Future. I am working on the first chapter and will most likely have someone look at it. After that, I will let my beta reader know how it looks and such. The reason for the re-write is to give it to the Writers United Crew to put it up. That way, it can expand more stuff I wanted on the story that I felt was missing. I am hoping it works out.

As for the sequel, not one page is done at all. Just need to be in the mood to write it and then I will start. Trust me it might be sooner for me to write it than anything else.

Path of a Hero, I am almost done with the chapter, just for me to send it with a beta reader to look into it and see if he could add anything to it.

And lastly, I am looking into what else I could be inspired by writing. At the moment, I have nothing to be honest. My mind is pretty muddled with everything that is going on. So, bear with me on that.
