Amaya's POV)

After the comment from Wolf that night she found herself thinking about it constantly and didn't know whether or not it was true or if she even had any feelings for cat boy or Connor.

She found herself looking at a picture album. She and her friends had pictures of themselves going everywhere. She knew they were friends really good friends but she always thought she felt differently about Connor but didn't know what it was, she remembered how aggravating it was to see Tsume always flirt her way with Connor and how she still felt the same way when Lynx did it with cat boy so then she started to come to the conclusion that wolf was correct, she was in love with Connor but if so how would she tell him. She was new to this things and she didn't know anything about it so on a Saturday where the 5 friends we're heading off to go to the movies Amaya thought she would have a talk with Tsume to see what she should do.

When the five friends all met up on the corner of the street they walked down together chatting about everything, Amaya tried her best to stay as normal as possible as she looked over to Tsume who was talking to Connor about The karate kid movie. As Greg and vex was talking about robots and action figures

When they finally got to the movie theater before Tsume could go in Amaya stopped her

"Tsume can you come with me for a minute I need to tell you something"

"You're not going to tell me that we're going to rob a store are you?"

She said bluntly as Amaya didn't know how to answer that only for Tsume to last telling her that she was joking and followed Amaya as the boys went into get their snacks and stuff

"All right Amaya tell me what's up?"

Tsume said putting on a smile as she leaned against the movie theater building waiting for Amaya to speak

"I have this weird feeling that I didn't discover until like a couple weeks ago, and I need some girl advice to tell me what I should do..."

"And let me guess since I'm a girl you think I have all the answers? But sure I guess I could give you a helping hand."

Tsume said with a shrug

"So what's the problem?"

She asked her as Amaya took a deep breath and blurt it out

"I think I'm in love with Connor"

Tsume didn't even flinch when hearing that as she stared at Amaya

"It's not like a light feeling, I think I'm in love with him like really really like him like him"

Amaya said, trying to explain that she pulled some of her hair behind her ear. The expression on Tsume space changed as her smile turned into a laugh and she tried to control herself

"Tsume it's not that funny!"

Amaya said trying to make her stop laughing, Tsume did stop laughing and only chuckled even more as she removed her hand from her face giving Amaya a very scary look

"I love a challenge"

She said with a smirk as Amaya could have sworn she saw her eyes slightly changed

"Excuse me?"

"You want connor, you're going to have to rip him for my cold dead fingers"

Amaya didn't understand what she meant by that until it clicked

"Are you saying that you... You like Connor as well?"

"Like? Oh no I love Connor with all my heart and soul, but of course I am not brave enough to even tell him myself. But knowing that you have an attracted to him, this game of love will be just as fun"

Tsume said folding her hands behind her back as she gave Amaya a gentle smile when really she was pinching her arms to not break

"But I guess I should be a worthy opponent and tell you this. I will not give him up that easily and just so you know I do have an advantage, I'm just going to be a curious cat and see what you can do to even shift this little game of ours"

Tsume said that she giggled some more

"We should head inside I'm pretty sure the boys are waiting for us"

Tsume said as she did a little twirl and opened the door for Amaya allowing her to go in first. Amaya stood there for a minute not believing this as she walked into the theater with Tsume walking behind her, Amaya for the first time felt afraid of Tsume as she would always seem to reveal a different side of her when Amaya said something that she believed was wrong

But Amaya believed and thought that if this was the game that Tsume wanted to play then she was going to follow suit. When finding the boys in the theater, Tsume quickly sat next to Connor as Amaya had no choice but to sit next to Greg.

Amaya was barely paying attention to the movie as she couldn't concentrate when seeing Tsume glued to his arm and feeding him popcorn from time to time and most of the time she would even throw popcorn at him. It made her feel jealous inside as she hated it and wanted nothing more to make it stop

After the movie, the group headed to the mall, while walking Amaya saw Tsume and Connor holding hands as she would pull him to a store called hot topic, when seeing Greg and wolf head into a video game store she had no other choice but to follow Connor and Tsume

"Black is not really my color Tsume"

Connor said turning down a t-shirt that she held up in front of him

"I know , but you should try something new"

She said as she put the shirt back and picked up a dark blue wristband that says: crazy catz

"Here, my gift to you"

"I couldn't accept this"

He said about to take it off but Tsume stopped him, Amaya couldn't take it as she knew Tsume was pushing her buttons to win and broke it up

"Guys can we go and find the others"

Amaya said, looking pissed off as her hands were on her hips. Connor agreed as Tsume paid for the bracelet and the three of them left the shop. Later they saw Greg and vex eating at a food stand that sold pizzas and hot dogs and everything else

"Hey Connor want to go half's with me"

Tsume said as Amaya knew what she was doing, Amaya was still having a hard time keeping Tsume away from Connor as she ended up stealing half of his food and drinking from his own soda cup

"Will you stop that!"

Amaya said

"Stop what?"

Tsume said still drinking from Connor's drink

"Taking his food and his drink, you have your own you know"

"I don't know what you're talking about, just for your information I seem to be a big fan of diet Coca-Cola"

"You have your own!"

Amaya said shouting as vex told his sister to stop, when it became noon it was best for them to head home as they did spend a lot of time together but mostly it was Amaya trying to not attack Tsume who kept flirting with Connor

"See you later Connor, it was fun"

Tsume said waving as vex had to pull his sister away before she could do any more damage, before leaving Tsume did say to Amaya 'good luck'

Amaya knew tsume was two-faced but she didn't realize it was this bad. As the days passed Amaya was having an even harder time trying to even act normal around Connor when Tsume wasn't around. But she knew that tsume was watching from afar and even when they all had class together so now she was somehow finding a way to flirt with Connor. When following Tsume to the restroom Amaya confronted her

"Can you stop it, you're not being fair"

Amaya said as Tsume was washing her hands after using the bathroom and turned to Amaya looking clueless

"What did I do this time?"

"You're cheating, you wanted a fair fight but I can't even make a move with you around him all the time"

Amaya said asking I'm the only shrugged

"Fine, I guess you're right when you say I am being unfair. I'll give you four days to do whatever you want with Connor and I promise I will not be in the way"

Tsume said what A smile as Amaya wasn't buying it

"I know your game Tsume and you don't keep your word"

She said a Tsume only giggled and did a crossover her heart

"Cross my heart and hope to die I'll put a bullet in my eye"

She said holding an imaginary gun to her head as Amaya's jaw dropped when seeing that.

"That's not how it goes! Why are you acting so creepy?"

"It's a side of me I try to keep hidden, but if I go all out I think I might scare you into a hospital"

She said trying to keep her innocent act.

"But I am promising you this... You get 4 days with him and I won't get in the way"

She said more seriously and left the bathroom. And just like that during the first day Tsume kept to her word, she didn't talk much to Connor and then walked away when Amaya showed up.

Connor pov)

Connor was not sure what was going on with Tsume and Amaya as things were turning good for him when they went to the movies and then suddenly it's like Tsume had a change of heart and started to avoid him. When he tried to talk to her about it she only acted as she didn't know what he was talking about

And that is what scared him the most was that he believed that her attention was shifting to Cameron who was often trying to flirt with her. Even when they were playing on the soccer team she did make small talk with him but not even Greg, his friend could understand what was going on.

There was a game that they were playing after school and it was up against another school that they heard was good but with Tsume joining the team Connor and Greg felt like they had a chance to win.

Connor headed over to Tsume who was tying her shoes on the bench

"Tsume can we talk?"

"Sure but we're going to have to run some drills before we can even do that"

She said standing up as she was ready to get some exercise and jogging.

"I feel like you're avoiding me again, I don't know what I did to make you stop wanting to talk to me or be around me but if I did anything to make you mad you can tell me"

He said as the truth of them were running track with the rest of the class

"I'm not mad at you connor, I told you before everything is fine I just... Have other things on my mind right now"

She said not looking at him as she avoided his gaze

"Let me guess you're paying attention to Cameron? "

Tsume finally looked at him as they were her jogging and came to a stop

"What makes you think I want to pay attention to that nimrod, he can flirt with all the girls in the school all he wants but he can't capture my heart"

"I wish I could believe that but I don't even know what's going on with you, one minute you're head over heels for me and the next you're avoiding me, you're doing the same thing when we were in elementary"

Tsume stared at him for a while as she sigh

"I'm sorry but I can't tell you...please just give me 4 days "

Was all that she said as she walked away from him, Connor was hurt, but he didn't want to give up on his feelings for us and nami but he didn't know what this game of hers would evolve into. And he started to feel that if he was losing any sliver of Hope of being with her he might as well tell her his feelings.

When the game began and the bleachers were full of people that came to watch them, even Amaya came to their game and cheered for them. The game went great as it was 5 to 11. Connor and Tsume were best tag team duo in the game and their teamwork help them win the game

The whole entire team huddled together and gave each other hugs while they all celebrated but when Amaya came over to congratulate them Connor saw Tsume disappear instantly and didn't know where she went.

Tsume POV)

Tsume was in the girls locker room breathing heavily as she gave the locker that she was leaning on a hard Punch

"You're hurting yourself again"

Came a voice as she looked to see her brother standing there

"What are you doing in the girls locker room?"

She questioned as her brother saw her hand bleeding

"I came to check up on you, I see that you probably made a bet with Amaya to give her a space with Connor"

"Yeah I probably shouldn't have done that."

"Did you at least tell him your feelings?"

"You know I couldn't do that, Amaya has feelings for Connor as well and if I want this game of ours to go as exactly how I plan then she needs to learn how to play"

"You're letting her win you know that right"

Her brother said Tsume scoffed.

"That is where you're wrong dear brother, I'm the one winning in this round and besides Connor said himself that he has feelings for me"

"But you told me that he only written that on a piece of paper, he didn't really tell you"

Her brother reminded her

"That's besides the point!'

Tsume said crossing her arms

"Tsume, I know I shouldn't put my nose where it shouldn't be but just so you know avoiding Connor for 4 days or maybe a whole week isn't a smart thing to do. He's going to lose his patience and he might shift his attention to Amaya"

Tsume didn't think of it going that way but she did know that her brother was right after all and believe that she made a big mistake in doing so

"He'll start to think that you're just toying with him and then when it comes that's time... he'll-"

"Shut up! I know what I did was stupid!"

She shouted as she tried to hold back her tears

"But I'm scared ok, I'm scared to death right now"

Vex sigh as he left the locker room, when changed out of her soccer uniform Tsume came out of the locker room seeing Connor and the others waiting for her

"What took you so long Tsume we were waiting for you"

Connor said

"and what happened to your hand?"

Asked Greg, but Tsume didn't say anything and walked past them out of the school building. Vex had Amaya and Greg go one way as Connor followed Tsume to take her home

Connor POV)

During the second day Connor did everything that he believed that he could do to see what was going On, her brother didn't even want to tell him what was going on as he only believed that since Connor was in a relationship with her then he's the one that should be dealing with it. Connor started to believe that Amaya might have something to do with it as he pulled her aside to talk during lunch time

"Amaya I need your help, something's wrong with Tsume and she won't speak to me, you're a girl can't you see what's wrong with her?"

Amaya looked away for a minute before looking back at him

"I wish I could help Connor but she won't even talk to me about it. I've tried to call her and ask her about it but she won't even answer the phone let alone talk to me in person"

She said playing with her hair, Connor felt defeated as he was starting to believe that she was giving up on him

"But hey you shouldn't beat yourself down, maybe she'll come around later but in the meantime wanna come over so we can read our new comic books?"

Amaya asked, trying to change the subject but Connor declined her offer and headed back to the table. Connor was still worried about Tsume and trying to figure out what he should do about it, Amaya acted as if everything was okay and tried to get Connor to interact with her In almost everything

When it came to P.E, Tsume skipped out on today and sat under a tree to relax, this gave Connor an opportunity to try to speak to her as the kids were playing games and heading inside the gym. Connor sat next to Tsume who had her eyes closed just enjoying the ray of the Sun.

"Can we talk?"

He asked in a low voice as she only whispered no

"I always thought that you were weird when we met, but you were unique at the same time. You like things that most girls don't like at all. And you acted more tomboyish than what I'm used to... But I don't know how this happened or why your feelings changed for me...but now that I'm older, I..I think I'm -"

Connor stopped when feeling her lay her head on his shoulder

"I love you"

She whispered, her words made Connor's heart skip a beat when hearing it, his cheeks flushed a red as he heard her say it again.

"I don't ever want to let you go... I loved you for so long, my heart is hurting"

His body relaxed when hearing her explain her feelings and why she was hurting so badly, she never told him why she was doing what she was doing , all she wanted was for him to wait for her and to know she had feelings for him. Connor closed his eyes and laid his head on her's and whispered the three words she whispered to him, he held her hand as the two of them stayed together until the end of class.
