On an added note, some of these one-shots are under crossover scenes, therefore in those crossovers; I do not take any ownership of characters, themes, and whatnot for when I do a crossover scenario. That includes fictional cameos, celebrity cameos, and real-world cameos. Remember that.
The Assassins of Uzushio
IT IS TIME.
That is all that Hinata read on the tiny scrap of rice paper. She then rips it to shreds and mixes it with a potted plant by her window.
It's been two weeks since Uchiha Sasuke defects from Konoha and ran off to join Orochimaru. Naruto was part of a team of Genin led by Shikamaru in order to stop Sasuke and bring him back to the village. However everyone had to fight against Orochimaru's henchmen. Everyone survived their fights and their opponents killed except for Shikamaru's opponent, a girl who he described as having fuchsia red hair. He was knocked out cold and knew he was going to die, but he woke up surrounded by Medic-nins, left to live and the girl nowhere in sight.
Sasuke still got away, but Kakashi who had run ahead of the Medic-nin group led by Kiba's sister Hana, was unable to stop Kabuto from escorting Sasuke out of the battlefield, leaving a message that he watched Sasuke use the Chidori on Naruto using the evolved form of the Cursed Seal. As far as anybody was concerned, Naruto was reported as MIA because it's not a KIA until you see the body. But two weeks, and Konoha gave up searching for Naruto. Hinata hated the drunks who celebrated Naruto's death.
But now... she can go. Go and see her beloved...
The door opens and she looks over. It was another Hyuuga member from the Cadet Branch. She wished Neji didn't die. But he did. He died to his wounds but successfully killed the Oto-nin with the powers of a spider.
"It's time to eat."
"Bring it in, then," she whispers softly, still "grieving" over the loss of the sunshine in her life.
The Hyuuga saw nothing wrong as he brought the food tray in. But then he felt a hand wrap around his mouth tightly and a sharp piercing stab in his throat splitting the artery in the neck. He struggled violently but the fast bleeding was making him drowsy. The more he struggled, the faster death came, until he stilled and the kunai is withdrawn. She quickly closed the door. She dragged the body over and puts him in her bed, and turns him on his side so the blood would not be mostly seen. Blanket thrown over, she grabs a paper tag out of her dresser and puts it on his chest near the sternum. The fūinjutsu reacts for a second before the runes fade away. She now has less than an hour to make her escape and run as fast as she can.
She goes to her secret compartment and takes out Helmschmied Vambraces. The undersides have a strange small mechanism device that deploys a small retractable polished steel blade. She slips the vambraces on her arms, making sure they were secured to her arms, before concealing them with her coat that she always wears. Finally she takes her headband and leaves her room. She shouldn't be leaving because her "father" forbids her from going because she would have gone to Naruto's old apartment (which was long since torched down by drunks).
And several servants would keep an eye on her, as well as the other main branch Hyuuga that follow those assholes she calls the Elders. Using her Byakugan she makes sure she was in the clear before sprinting quietly before hearing oncoming footsteps. It was a guard. She hid in a closet that stores blankets and futons and she waits until the guard walked by and then she drags him in, piercing his skull. He's hidden in the closet and she continues. Other than that, she keeps hiding from other patrolling guards until she reached the back koi pond with the trees. Three Hyuuga patrol the walls that surround their compound. She waited until she got a good window time frame and sprinted, easily climbing the wall and then over the wall. She hugs the wall as the man above looks over. He doesn't see her below and returns to patrolling.
Off she runs sticking to the shadows and alleys. She reached her destination three minutes later. It was the destroyed apartment complex that was burned in a fire by ninja who hated Naruto. Those ninja were now in prison because of Tsunade, the Godaime Hokage. But after this, Hinata will serve Konoha no more; it's become corrupt with power and the civilians on the council have too much power that they can easily boss the Hokage around!
She climbs through the wreckage, finding the apartment's basement. There, she used her Byakugan and finds a shimmering wall. In which behind this was a trap door she goes through. Unless you had her eyes (or rather the "special vision" locked within her blood) you wouldn't see this. Of course she had to move the fallen debris out of the way. Once inside, she finds a hidden floor door that takes her to the sewers of Konoha.
An hour passed and Hinata's bedroom explodes, causing chaos at the Hyuuga Lot. But she was just exiting the sewer through a large pipe that fed itself into a river. The chakra exercises she trained in holding your breath for long hours underwater really helped as she swam down the river submerged until she felt she was far enough, got out (taking a moment to enjoy fresh oxygen), and ran through the trees.

Otafuku... officially known as Shukuba Town, is where Hinata found herself in after a long travel non-stop. She has since ditch her headband whilst in the sewers, also slashing the metal through the symbol. She walks towards a darker part of the town, and up to a nondescript grey building. There was a door next to a pile of garbage just lying there, with a drunken man just ten paces away.
Knock, knock, knock...
A slider opens, and eyes peer through.
"The White Eyes Seek the Swirls."
The slider closes and the door is opened. A girl with red hair greets her. This was Tayuya; one of Orochimaru's supposed henchmen. In truth, she's Uzumaki Tayuya, related to Uzumaki Naruto.
"You took your sweet time. What the fuck happened? Got held up?"
And yes, she was mouthy.
"Somewhat. I had to wait until my sweet father's patrolmen got called off on heavy missions and stuff. Had to play the heartbroken girl in love with a demon boy... those fuckers didn't see through my act." Hinata smiles sweetly.
Tayuya laughs. "Damn... well you're here now, although you smell like shit. You rolled in a sewer?"
"After finding the secret location Naruto once told me before Sasuke had to go suck the snake's white dick."
"Well, Naruto's plan worked. Now we're late as it is. The sooner we get out of this fucked-up country, the farther we are from any asswipe who want to fuck with us and give trouble. Your boy toy's waitin' for ya at the village."
Hinata smiles, as Tayuya led her to the shower so she can get freshened up quickly. After that, she is given new clothes to wear. Far away, there is an undiscovered island not known by the mainlanders. Ever since the destruction of their first village and the loss of half their clan, survivors of the Uzumaki Clan moved farther from the Elemental Nations. They discovered Naruto, and privately trained the child after discovering he was Kushina's son, and virtually the last of the Uzumaki Royal Bloodline.
But there came a time when Naruto would go back to Konoha, and "be planted" until such a time Naruto can no longer work as a Konoha ninja and defect. Naruto after Sasuke hit him with the Chidori powered by the Cursed Seal, he faked his death and fell into the water to be swept away in the currents... and soon far enough he can escape. Bless the damn fox's healing powers. His bloodline already gave him high regenerative abilities as well as large chakra reserves. The fox sealed in him amplified it by a factor of 2.5.
Naruto left Konoha, allowing Sasuke to fall prey to the snake. Just means Sasuke will one day die if that does happen; his body becomes the pawn for Orochimaru. He soon went to a secret location Uzushio owned, and got shipped to the island nation. And now, here he stands on the tallest building there in Uzushio, the Uzu Tower. He was garbed in all white clothing with hints of blue and red. The one feature to this outfit was he wore a hood that concealed his identity. It has a beak-shaped feature to the hood.
SHIIIiii... POP!
Sparkles of lavender shower over the front gates of the village, and Naruto smiled.
It has been four weeks since Hinata had left Konoha and traveled to Uzushio with Tayuya, but she was now at the front gates.
Over at the Uzu Tower, Naruto was finally happy. His beloved was here at last.
Spreading his arms, he takes a Leap of Faith off the tower's point...
One can hear the distant cry of an eagle as Naruto fell...
