During the next day at school Connor and his friends walk together as they discussed the harsh mission from last night, Connor explained that That Luna girl captured him and Greg was captured by wolf but didn't get hurt as they just talked
"Wolf isn't into this but he told me he is following tsume because she is trying to find herself"
Greg said as Amaya scoffed
"Finding herself, how, by hurting people?"
"I think he's asking for help but won't say it"
Greg thought out loud
"What do you mean?"
Amaya questioned but Greg didn't know the answer to that. Connor saw tsume and her brother show up to school and only sigh when knowing today could be a nightmare, he didn't know why tsume was blaming Amaya for everything, and when asking Amaya she didn't know anything
During class Connor couldn't keep his eyes off of tsume as she stared into nothing, she was so lost in thought that she didn't hear the teacher call her, during their soccer game they had a game to play tonight.
The Coach was going over their playing patterns he wanted to make sure that everyone was ready to perform their very best as now the spotlight was on Connor, Greg and tsume to help them score so they can get a chance of going into the big league. Connor feared dancing on me might throw the game just to get back at them, he knew she wouldn't listen but wanted to try again anyway. So after school as she was leaving her classroom he took a breath and followed her
"Tsume, hold on. I need to ask you something"
He said following her down the sidewalk
"Go away or I'll hurt you again"
She said threatening him,
"I know you will but please hear me out"
He said that she stopped and crossed her arms
"Make it quick"
"Right, so about tonight's game, you wouldn't want to get back at me and throw the game... would you"
He asked her, she didn't respond and smirked
"If you wanted to take me out on a date you should have just said so"
She said as his jaw dropped
"I never said-'
"Yes you did, it's written all over your face. come on We might as well start now"
She said and started to walk away, Connor looked to his friends who was standing behind him looking confused as he looked to tsume and started to follow her quickly as she was going to cross the street.
"Uh, Tsume you know I never said...date right"
He said still following her as she giggled
"Then why did you follow me so whiling?"
He stopped walking and couldn't believe the games she was playing, he was tricked into this and couldn't talk his way out of it and just gave up knowing she was doing this on purpose.
But even so Connor knew her games and her threats. He just believed she was just trying to get close to him by day just once.
He found himself reaching for her hand, as soon as he held her hand, her grip tighten, not to hurt him but to show that she did still care for him, Connor smiled and responded the same as they headed to a cafe
Amaya pov)
Amaya wanted to follow Tsume and Connor but Greg got pulled away by vex as he went to hang out. Amaya couldn't stand her friends falling for the tricks of their enemies as the two of them didn't seem to expect that it could have been attracting or luring them away from the actual mission. When Amaya found where Connor and Tsume was she didn't see anything out of the ordinary but knew she couldn't be trusted
After following them for a while, amya followed them to the park where she watched Tsume try to dance with Connor, but Connor was clumsy and had two left feet
Amaya was feeling that jealous feeling again and tried to control herself. She hated seeing them so close and how happy Connor was as they spun around laughing until Connor tripped and landed on top of Tsume.
She couldn't stand there watching it anymore and jumped out where she was hiding calling Connor. Connor jumped off her acting as if he didn't do anything
"Amaya, what are you doing here?"
"Connor we have to find Greg, I lost sight of him"
She said as Tsume didn't believe her and stood up walking away from them
"Hey Tsume wait"
Connor said as he was going after her but Amaya stopped him
"Connor, we don't have time for her, help me find Greg."
She said pulling him away, when the 2 finally found Greg he explained that vex and him was just out playing video games and nothing more, back at their homes the trio had a chat before the game tonight
"She didn't say she was planning anything "
Connor said
"But she is and so is her brother"
Amaya said, trying to get through to them.
"Vex is nice Amaya you should try to hang out with us"
Greg said as Connor agreed,
"Your not really listening to me"
Amaya said annoyed
"Look Amaya, there only villains at night, not by day"
Connor said as Greg agreed
"Yeah so just give them a chance and you will see"
Greg said as she nodded and allowed her friends to be happy. She thought she was doing the right thing but was unsure.
No one's POV)
When night came it was time for the soccer game to start and the trio headed back to the school and saw vex and Tsume there. Connor and Greg changed into their soccer uniforms and waved to Amaya before they joined their team
The coach went over the plan one more time as he gave them a boost of confidence knowing that they can win the game as long as they had teamwork. His focus was mostly on tsume as he told them what to do and make sure to stay clear of the stronger things as they were physically known to injure some players
"I won't let you down sir"
Tsume said with a salute
"That's what I want to hear, now get out there and play your best"
The coach said as everybody cheered, the game began as the stadium was full of people that came to chair their teams on. It was a little bit overwhelming for the guys but they didn't let it distract them.
"Tsume..."
Connor called as she looked to him
"Let's do our best alright"
Tsume smiled as the 3 fist pump
"Let's destroy the team"
Hours later into the game, it wasn't looking good the team knew exactly how to intercept all of their minds and even their topics, when it came to getting the ball away from them, it was really hard even Tsume had trouble doing so, she was starting to get annoyed by them always playing their little tricks to get things away from them and scoring
And just when that pissed their team off the most tsume was Upset the most, they were able to get the ball TO Greg then to Connor and just when she was about to score, Connor was trip to the ground rather hard making her stop and wanting to go after the guy that did it
"Don't just stand there score!"
Greg called out to her, but she quickly made a shot for The goal that scored them some point that she went to go check on Connor
"Are you all right?"
he was in pain and believed he twisted his ankle, he was removed as it was up to greg and Tsume to finish the game
"Come on tsume we can do this"
Greg said as Tsume took a deep sigh and nodded. When the game was over Greg's team had lost. They were picked on and mocked by the other team, when the leader started making fun of Greg, a soccer ball was thrown and smashed the leaders face
"Talk crap again I dare you!"
Tsume said seriously, Greg himself was surprised that she would do this and she held another soccer ball in hand. The leader of the group Glare daggers at Tsume and squared off with her and threatened to break every bone in her body, but tsume wasn't afraid as she challenged the leader to do so but before anything could happen a whistle was blowing stopping the 2 from fighting. Back at the locker room Tsume took a shower and
And change her clothes. When coming out she saw Amaya
"Tsume I wanna say thank you for -"
"Don't thank me please, I didn't do it for your friends, Nobody has the right to pick on my team"
She said, Amaya, smiled and thanked her anyway even if she didn't want to hear it
"By the way.."
Tsume started
"Did you confess your love to him yet?"
A blushed came to Amaya's face when asked this
"Uh, no, not yet"
"Then take him out , just for the two of you"
She said heading for the door.
"I'll make it easy for you"
She said and left the locker room, Amaya didn't know what she was planning and followed her out as she was talking to Connor when seeing him happy, the conversation was over when Tsume looked at Amaya and gave her a thumbs-up before leaving with her brother
"Thank you Tsume for standing up for me"
Greg called but didn't get a response other than a wave.
"I think we won something today"
Connor said as he believed they were slowly changing and might be able to talk them out of doing what evil they had with Romeo
