During the night the PJ masks were dodging laser beams and Romeo's laboratory. They're trying to stop Romeo from stealing any technology that he could from the computer lab but couldn't do so since Tsume and wolf are there to stop them and also Luna girl gave them a helping hand making it even harder for the PJs

They were Thrown up against the wall by tentacle arms that held them into place

"Cute it seems like I've caught a kitty cat a bird and a Gekko"

Lynx said with a grin on her face

"Lynx let us go you know what you doing is wrong, you don't have to do anything Romeo tells you to do"

Cat boy said as she only shrugged

"You probably are hard at listening when I told you that time Romeo isn't the one controlling the shots, I am and if you don't believe that maybe I should prove it to you"

One of the technical arms curled cat boy up as Lynx snap her fingers sending electric shock on to him

"Stop it, you're hurting him!"

Owlette said as luna girl just laughed

"Sucks being you doesn't it?"

"That's enough, super Gekko muscle!"

Gekko broke free from the arms and punched Lynx knocking her down

"Ow, that hurt"

Lynx cried as Gekko apologized

"Black, white attack!"

Lynx shouted as two robots came into the room and attacked Gekko

"Hey, stop that!"

Owlette said as Lynx ignored her

"Romeo, can you hear me, did you get everything you needed?"

She asked through the earpiece that she got and clear yes on it and for her to come back

"Understood"

Tsume said as she whistled to make her robots stop attacking Gekko, the tentacle remove themselves from cat boy and owlette

"Lynx stop!"

Cat boy shouted as she ignored him

"Suki!'

Motsuki teleported in and teleported inside and teleported her and out of there as the floor underneath them opened causing them to fall out

Back at HQ, owlette was upset that they couldn't stop Lynx from taking the technology for Romeo. She was getting ahead of the PJs every day and even though sometimes they win a fight they still end up losing to her and Romeo

"We need help with this "

Cat boy said as not wanting to admit it. But him being the leader and trying to fight someone he likes it's harder than he believed it would be

"But who can we ask for help in a time like this?"

Gekko said as They thought for a minute before owlette knew who. They headed to mystery mountain to talk to their friend An yu.

"So you're saying that your friend Lynx has to change sides and join Romeo in taking over the world?"

She asked they nodded

"That's not even half of our problem, she's too good and every time we try to stop her cat boy hesitates"

Gekko said as an yu looked at him making cat boy feel disappointed in himself

"There's nothing wrong with how cat boy feels for Lynx. I understand, but as you need to know that whether it's from the heart, you know your mission always comes first"

She said making cat boy, not like that answer

"I can't hurt her, I know it's our mission and all to protect the world but ... I just can't"

"Does she mean that much to you?"

"Yes she does, I've tried everything to talk her out of it but she just won't listen"

Cat boy explained as an yu thought for a minute before she asked them

"Let me talk to her, where does she live?"

Lynx pov)

After the talk with Romeo Lynx stood on the bridge over the water looking up at the Moon. She wondered if this was Worth it and thought if she and her brother did help Romeo in would he betray her, she enjoyed fighting on the side that had nothing to do with being good but being on the bad side all the time was starting to get boating for her

The sound of footsteps snapped her out of her thoughts, making her turn to see An yu.

"An yu?"

"Greeting Lynx, it's been a while. Care to talk?"

She asked with her proper English. Lynx didn't understand much of this Dragon girl but did like her from meeting her from time to time. They headed back to mystery mountain and sat to talk

"You seemed troubled"

She said making Lynx laugh

"I'm not troubled everything is fine"

"Really because of certain cat told me that everything is not fine"

She said making Lynx realize when she was talking about

"What did he tell you?"

"Besides you being a total liar and switching from good and being a villain and helping Romeo take over the world practically everything"

An yu said Lynx shrugged not caring what cat boy told her

"Care to talk about it?"

"Not really unless you can turn back the hands of time"

Lynx said with a sigh as An Yu seemed to understand. They talked as an yu listened to her troubles. She told an yu what she felt for cat boy and was thinking she make a mistake

"Then why do you continue to do this?"

An Yu questioned

"Because I don't have a choice!"

She shouted as she balled up her fist, an yu was taken back and didn't understand

"If I don't...I won't have anything to fight for... I'll lose him and myself"

An Yu started to put the pieces together and understand what she was talking about she started to realize that She was fighting herself and trying to understand what she representing in life

"I can't tell you what to do in life but I know one thing, the answer that you're searching for isn't too far away"

She said as she gave the curious bobcat a smile

"You'll find your answer I promise you that, but it won't be an easy journey"

"I know, nothing ever is"

Lynx said with a chuckle and stood up, she thanked an Yu for the talk and left the temple. An Yu frowned when seeing the girl walk away. She could see that her pain is growing by the minute

PJs pov)

By the next day At school, the trio was in the library checking out books for their work for history. Connor wasn't happy when he got teamed up with someone else for the project and Amaya got teamed up with tsume and Greg got vex as a partner.

"Cheer up Connor, I'm sure you'll do fine on this project."

Greg said as he sighs

"Yeah well, it's not going to be fun that's for sure "

He said picking books off the shelf

"I wish we could trade partners Connor because I already know tsume doesn't even like me "

Amaya said as she picked a book off the bookshelf

"What do you mean she doesn't like you?"

Greg asked

"You know what I mean and I'm surprised you don't see her, she keeps glaring daggers at me and when I try talking to her it's almost like she's trying to take my head off"

"I've never seen her do that but we are enemies now so it is normal"

Connor said

"She doesn't do it to you guys, she only does it to me"

Amaya said pointing it out

" you two have a little history of not getting along so this is practically normal, so we didn't think it would be a problem"

"Well it's not, I just wish for once in our life she wouldn't be so mean to me, I did try to get along with her but she doesn't want to get along with me at all no matter how hard I try"

Amaya said feeling bothered by this

"I could talk to her if you want, she seems pretty chill when I talk to her sometimes"

Greg said as Amaya turned him down. She wanted to deal with anything that Tsume was dealing with on her own.

The trio's conversation was interrupted when they heard tsume's voice and Cameron's voice in the library and poked around the corner to see them talking

"Come on tsume just one day that's all I want"

"Yeah one day and a cheating card"

tsume said as he could tell that she wasn't falling for anything, Tsume walked away from him as he was trying to Seduce her but that completely failed only for him to make a complete mistake and grab her arm

"Hold on there speedy we need to talk"

Cameron said as he started pulling on her, Connor was about to step in only to stop when tsume sucker-punched him in the stomach and walked away from Cameron after calling him a scumbag

"See, like I said she is practically invincible when it comes to people that pick on her"

Greg said with a nervous laugh. Amaya parted from her friends and went over to tsume who was reading a book

"Hey, have you found anything yet ?"

Amaya asked taking a seat across from her as tsume shook her head

"Projects aren't my thing "

She said not looking up from her book. Amaya took a deep sigh and it was quiet between them. After a while, tsume spoke

"Before I forget, you have a date with Connor in 3 days from now "

Amaya screamed when hearing this making tsume giggle

"Your welcome"

She said closing her book, Amaya apologized for yelling at the librarian and turned her attention back to tsume.

"What did you do?!"

She asked her as tsume didn't say anything and shrugged. Amaya hated when she acted like she wasn't doing anything wrong

"I didn't ask for a date "

"Sure you did. It's written all over your face"

She said grinning as Amaya closed her book

"Whatever you told him, call it off"

Amaya said as tsume thought about it and said

"No...with him out of the way this will be much more fun"

She said with a laugh. She got up from the chair and started to walk away from Amaya as she wished her good luck.

Skipping to 3 days later-

Amaya didn't think tsume was serious, but when coming to the movies she saw Connor there waiting

" Hi Connor"

Amaya said coming over, he looked at her and smiled

" Hey, um what are you doing here?"

He asked, Amaya, cleared her throat and handed Connor a note that Tsume gave her. He took it and read it. He didn't seem sad by this when he was finished but Amaya could tell he was a little disappointed

" Alright, let go ok"

He said as she nodded. The two went to the movies and watched action movies. They did have fun and after that, they headed to a burger restaurant. They talked and had a lot of fun. Amaya thought this date was going to be bad because she knew Connor was waiting for tsume, not her. When they finally came to an end and the sun was setting Connor Walked Amaya home.

" I was wondering, did tsume not come over because she was too busy or maybe she didn't want to see me?"

He asked, Amaya didn't know what he meant but she was right about how he was feeling

" She was probably busy"

She said, when Connor dropped Amaya off at her house they said night to each other.

Connor pov)

Connor was sad that Tsume didn't show up and wondered why she asked him out in the first place, he stood at his front door and opened it only to be surprised when seeing tsume standing there with an apron on

" Hello Connor, welcome home my love"

Before he could say anything she grabbed him and pulled him in. She locked the door and dragged him into the kitchen

"Tsume what is all this?!"

He asked when seeing the lovely set update table she made

" It's our date silly"

She pushed him to the chair as she took one, Connor didn't get what she was doing but took a seat.

"I hope you love the food I made you"

She said as she removed the covered lid of chicken.

" You cooked this?"

He asked as she nodded, she cut him a piece of chicken and put some vegetables on his plate

" Don't worry it's not poison"

She said making her plate, Connor didn't know if she was telling the truth but didn't want to hurt her feelings and took a bite. It was delicious and Connor ate more. After THe food, she made Dragged him to his room and turned on the tv With a movie playing

"where did you get this tv?"

" It's my brother's tv, I'm borrowing it. Don't worry about it, let's enjoy this moment ok"

She said laying her head on his shoulder, Connor was happy to spend this night with her, he wished it wouldn't end but he already knows why she is allowing this. They later fell asleep while watching the movie Titanic. Tsume shut the tv off and curled up into Connor's arms allowing him to hold her close to her.

By the next day, early in the morning before They had to go to school tsume and Connor sat together on his bed in silence, they didn't know what to say to each other but it was clear that the two of them didn't want to say anything to each other that could hurt them and Connor was at a lost.

" I better go"

Tsume said getting up from the bed, without thinking Connor grabbed her and pulled her to him

" Please don't leave us like this"

He said a faint blush painted her cheeks

" Please Connor, I have to go"

Tsume said trying to pull away from him but wasn't able to as he held on to her tightly

" I won't let you go"

He said shocking her

" I won't let him have you, I love you too much".

She stopped struggling when hearing this, her heart screamed for her him to love her, and now that she got it, she was afraid to let him in again

" I will always love you tsume, I won't ever hate you, I won't forget about you. We may be enemies and you will hate me for anything I do but I promise you ...I won't let you go"

tsume relaxing is embrace and hug him back

"I'll always Love You too Connor"

She pulled herself away from him gave him a quick kiss and left his house. Connor didn't want to let her go but knew he couldn't do anything about it
