War in my old world seemed like hell, but war in the Shinobi World was Hell. Team Sakumo had made it to the front lines and let's just say we quickly learned what it meant to fight in a Great Shinobi War. As soon as we arrived to Orochimaru's camp I was sent to the medical tents to assist in healing the injured there. We had arrived just after an attack by Iwagakure's Explosion Corps. Orochimaru and Fugaku Uchiha had been able to take out a little over a third of them before they retreated but the damage had been done and we lost a lot of good men and women. When we got there most of the camp was either scorched, cratered, or both and a lot of our shinobi were struggling to clear the damage and rebuild. The clearing we had set up base wasn't the easiest to defend and because we packed it with so many people it had become an easy target for them.

When we arrived Sakumo-sensei sent me to the medical tents immediately. It was brutal. Multiple people with missing limbs, others looked as if they wouldn't survive the healing process, and some were just really injured. It was there I met Capt. Tamayo Shimura, my current field medic mentor. She was a no nonsense type who expected her orders to be followed perfectly. When we first met, she forced me to assist on a surgery, where I had to help close an artery in a shinobi's leg. It was incredible to watch her work so effortlessly when closing the artery and healing his wound. Ever since then, when not on missions, I would be working with her to increase my skill and knowledge in Iryoninjutsu. My Chakra Scalpel and Gentle Healing had maxed out, while my Mystic Palm had been improving as well.

While my medical skills had improved so did my combat skills. Combining my Adamantine Strike and Lightning Palm had led to the creation of the Adamantine Thunder. I had also been practicing and using the jutsu I learned back in Konoha, mainly the Discharging Execution, Stone Wall Defense, Surging Wave, Gale Palm, and Cyclone Palm. My Kenjutsu and Taijutsu had improved as well, but even with all those improvements the front lines were something I couldn't have imagined. They were brutal, more so than any war I had fought in my forgotten past life. My very soul could tell that these battles weighed more heavily than anything I had known. I reflected on said battles and missions constantly. My team had been involved in about 5. Each one more grueling than the last, however we were one step closer to achieving our objective. Capturing Kongoryu Fortress. A task that had never been accomplished in the past two wars.

Out of nowhere I felt someone approach me from behind and of my mental alarms were triggered. Knocking over the desk and paperwork I was filling out; I drew a kunai on an unassuming chunin. I think his name was Yujimura. He raised his hands in peace and threw a scroll at me. Great another mission.

"The mission is simple, the Iwa battalion up north by the Katsuragi river are currently on the losing ground. If you're wondering "why" at the moment it is unknown due to blocked off communications, the last update from there was that jonin Minato Namikaze developed a game changing jutsu. Whatever happened over there has Iwa scrambling. Intel from our scouts suggests Iwa is trying to get reinforcements over there. A platoon is prepping to leave their holdout this morning according to our man on the inside, your mission is simple. Stop that platoon. This mission has two objectives halt their reinforcements and gain access to their base. As some of you know the Kongoryu Fortress is located on an island in the middle of the waterfall at the end of Tora River, which is uncrossable due to the raging waters and anti-chakra minerals found in the water. The only way to get into Iwa from here is to capture that fortress and use the drawbridge to cross. They'll be lowering the bridge to get to our side. Orochimaru has decided to launch an attack on that bridge after they get off. That's where you'll come in. We need you to make sure that platoon can't flank us from the back. Understood?" Sakumo-sensei was nothing less than serious as he finished detailing our mission.

"HAI" was our response. Afterwards he began giving out specific details to the leaders of the mission. I turned toward Daichi and Yume both of whom seemed nervous. Understandably, this was… our first mission without our sensei. We just stared at each other, each slightly worried about saying the wrong thing.

MISSION ALERT!

"I think we should fight together, Yume you're fast so you can catch the enemy off guard. If that doesn't work Daichi and I will jump in to give you an opening." I had to say something, to ease their minds I did have the most experience in war after all even if most of it was from my past life.

"That works. Yeah, man Hihi your so smart and calm Ha ha ha…" Daichi was trying to hold it together, his optimistic nature usually enough to ease our worries. I turned to Yume she was as quiet as ever. If I didn't' know any better I'd say she didn't' look phased at all, but I did know better and I noticed the shaking hands and small beads of sweat on her forehead.

We began planning out how'd we approach this mission when we got a notification from a Yamanaka to gather at the front of our base. I hated that; I didn't like anyone in my head much less a shinobi I barely knew.

I led my team to the entrance and gathered with the rest of the Shinobi. The younger generation looked scared shitless, while the older and veteran shinobi just had a sense of dread. Our leader for this mission was none other than Fugaku Uchiha. He gave us a stern look before nodding and heading out. The mission was time sensitive and I'm guessing we didn't have time for motivational speeches. As the group headed out, I couldn't help but get a bad feeling about this mission.

After travelling about 10km I sensed what I presumed were our enemies, however something was off. Their chakra was molded. My sensory ability had evolved to the point where I could sense 300m away from myself. It also allowed me to sense when people were preparing to use a jutsu. Nodding to my team I led them to the front. Something was off. The shinobi in front of me were a little rude and few let me pass through but eventually I made it.

"Uchiha-sama, a word?"

"What do you need Senju? Why aren't you in your position?" He didn't even turn to look at me.

"I have a sensory ability and I can sense our targets ahead. It appears that they are molding their chakra for something big. I know the plan was to attack them while they resting but I think we're walking into a trap. I'd like to make a suggestion if I may?"

"A sensor? That wasn't in your personnel file. Does your sensei know?" Shit. I may have just gotten Sakumo-sensei in trouble.

"Yes."

"Interesting. Yokushiro." A shinobi appeared next to me. "Tell the men to hold our position. Senju can you-" He was interrupted by a small raven landing on his shoulder. He took the paper wrapped around his leg and read the note. "Damnit. Senju sense behind us as far as you can now." His voice was a lot sterner. I activated the extension and went the full distance.

"We're being flanked. The squad in front has about 200 men, and behind has another 300." They outplayed us. We only had about 250 of our own men, outnumbering us by twice the amount.

Everyone gathered around Fugaku, as he waved us over. "Reinforcements arrived from the north and fended off Orochimaru's attack, he's gonna send whoever he can assist but we're mostly on our own. We will not die here; however, we will make a stand. We will not let these Iwa mutts get their way. We will kill so many of them that Orochimaru's reinforcements won't be needed. For every one of us they kill we will kill 5 of theirs. They will rename this the Crimson Forest for how much blood we shed here today." I looked around everyone's face, some were determined, others solemn as if they were resigning to their fate. I summoned Owls each about twice the size of Fugaku.

"Shirodaki how many of us can you carry?" Shirodaki was my personal familiar. We had gotten close as I seemed to always summon her in the beginning. She was kind and insightful and had help me tremendously on my missions before reaching the front lines. Her feathers were almost a translucent white with light blue accents on the tips. Her golden eyes constantly scanning the room.

"Each of us could carry about 3 small humans or 2 large humans. My Grace." Her melodic voice was soothing and help me calm my anxiety.

"Let me take some men into the sky we can paper bomb them from above and give us an opening to return to base or if you still wish to fulfill the mission, we can stall them to give you more time."

Fugaku stared at me his Sharingan now active and spinning. It was unnerving to say the least. Time seemed to slow as I waited for his answer. Maybe I had spoken too soon, genin weren't supposed to talk to Jonin as equal yet here I am making a fool of myself. "Yokushiro, gather up twelve genin and collect as many paper bombs as possible. The enemy will be upon us in the next 20 min I want you to stall them while we handle our initial targets. Also, can you summon 1 more owl, big enough for me to ride?" I nodded before doing so. He nodded appreciatively.

MISSION ALERT!

Iwa forces have flanked you and are going to wipe out your platoon. Stall them until reinforcements arrive.

"Minami." A red haired woman with sunglasses appeared next to him. She was tall and was wearing the standard suit with the flak jacket, however she left her flak jacket unzipped revealing a rather large bust. She stared at me before smirking.

"Lil pervert ain't cha?" I turned away my face blushing in embarrassment. Damnit that was so uncool. She started laughing.

"Replenish her chakra as much as you can in 10 minutes." Still looking away she placed her hand on my shoulder. "Senju you're in charge of the aerial assault. Minami, you're in charge of the land forces, I'm off." Fugaku hopped on Kuburu, the owl I summoned for him and took off, in the direction of our targets.

"Lookey here kid." I turned to face Minami. "You don't have to be embarrassed about getting caught many people do. Just make sure these jugs don't distract you from the mission alright?" She started laughing again and I could tell some of the others around were chuckling at my misfortune as well. "If this little plan of yours works and we manage to actually somehow survive this shit I let you grab, hold, massage and motorboat these bad boys." I think I almost passed out but not before everyone chuckled again. After ten minutes, she had sufficiently replenished my chakra, and went to gather our forces but not before giving me a peck on the cheek.

Gathered around me were my team and twelve other genin, each equipped with several explosion tags. "Our mission is simple. We're gonna be stalling the enemy force from behind. Drop as many bombs as possible. When you run out, let my owls know, you'll then proceed to use long range jutsu, kunai and shuriken to continue fighting. If you get hit, hit em back harder, if you get knocked off, knock their head off, if you die, walk it off. Let's go."

We each climbed on and then held on tightly as the owls took off, flying high in the sky. The owls had better sight than us, so they climbed to the highest altitude possible before searching for our enemies within the forest below us. After about 5 min we found them moving fast towards our comrades' 6. I looked down. "Give em hell." We began dropping explosion tags and paper bombs from the sky. Gravity did most of the work as they fell like snow. We delayed the activation until we were sure they were in the forest.

What came next could only be described as natural disaster. Multiple bombs exploded catching several Iwa shinobi in their blast radius. My chakra sensory ability confirmed we took out several of them. We continued dropping them until I noticed something strange. "Shirodaki is that an earth dome?"

"Yes, they've barricaded themselves inside." I gave them the signal to hold off on any more bombs, as there was no need to waste any. When the smoke cleared, I could see three domes, each with about 60 shinobi in them.

"We can't just stay here and do nothing. They'll tunnel underground and travel that way." Yume was right.

"Let's bury them." We both turned toward, Daichi. It was rare he spoke on strategy or planning usually allowing us to come up with a plan. "We don't have to destroy the dome just weaken the foundation." I smirked, the kid made sense.

"We'll go, Yume take command." We jumped into the trees and landed on the ground. I created three clones to surround my dome. Once in position Daichi and I used the Earth Release: Pitfall jutsu to create holes around the wall destabilizing it and causing the dome to collapse in on itself. As soon as we did so some of the Iwa shinobi escaped but many others were trapped under the rubble. Through the smoke I found Daichi, and we attempted to find a safe place to call for Yume and Shirodaki. Unfortunately, for us the Iwa shinobi wanted blood and those who survived surrounded us. The other dome also fell this time due to the Iwa shinobi lowering it and joining their comrades.

"Shit." We were surrounded by about 100 shinobi. "Daichi stay together." "Shirodaki-chan can you hear me."

"Hai." One of the perks of having a familiar that you've bonded with in the owl clan is telepathic communication, we were still fairly new at it, and it required more concentration than I'd like but instances like these it was invaluable.

"Tell Yume we need to switch to mid-range. There's about 100 dogs left, let's put them down." Turning of the connection I put my back to Daichi as we watched the Iwa mutts come into view. "Whoever dies first, buys the other their first drink."

"Deal, but can you look at me for a second." I turned my head to face him, and was greeted by a short and quick kiss. It was really fast so I barely registered it, but it filled my cheeks with a warmness I'd never felt before in this life at least. "If we live, I want another, so you better not die."

"Deal." With that we turned to the shinobi and rushed at them. With my Kodachi drawn and Shunpo activated I began zipping around the battlefield. I clashed with a few Shinobi and got some easy kills as they were shocked by my speed. After killing my 5th shinobi, the memories of one my clones had returned to me. Yume and the others were now a lot closer shooting fireballs, water blasts, lightning, and rock bullets at our foes while the owls zipped around giving them better mobility. I activated Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold and with an even greater speed I began to cut down my opponents. The sixfold version allowed me to use the technique six times without rest being invaluable, to kill the six shinobi surprised by my speed.

Taking another short rest to catch my breath I received the memories of another clone, an Iwa shinobi who seemed to be the commander had shot an explosive bullet hitting one of my owls and knocking the team riding him off. My clone had intercepted him before he could take out the disoriented group, but they needed help. Turning toward that direction I watched as two of them attempted to fight the commander while one was trying to heal my summon. Channeling all the lightning natured chakra I could bring out and with a large crack of thunder I shot off toward the shinobi striking him in the face with an Adamantine Thunder. The man flew back hitting a tree before I stood in front of the team. "You guys look like shit. Get my owl and get to a safe distance, I got it from here."

"But Senju-sama, we can still fight." Turning around I got a much better look at him. He was a young boy maybe a year older than me. He Bloodied across his face and body with one eye already swollen shut. He had bruises and burns all over a result of the explosion release user he just fought. His teammate didn't look any better either with burns and bruises matching his and a cut that caused a river of blood to flow down her head.

Turning back to the direction I sent the man, I smirked. These guys were awesome. "I know that. I'm just tryna show these Iwa dogs a little mercy. Can't have you guys just wiping the floor with them." I smirked "Now go make sure my owl gets healed up enough to have a drink with you once this is all over." With that they got up and went to pick up my owl and their teammate. I internally sighed, I was worried for them, but they only would've gotten in the way.

Across from me the Iwa commander return a big purple bruise now covering the left side of his face. He was tall and muscular, with his arms being fully exposed. He was wearing dark grey pants and the standard issue shinobi sandals. He was also wearing the special Explosion Corp body armor. He was pissed his steel grey eyes glaring into mine, while a stream of blood poured down his face. His tan skin littered with cuts, probably from when I knocked him through the trees. "I'm gonna kill ya little girl."

"Bring it bitch."

(Fugaku's POV)

Another potential rival had appeared. Kizashi's incredibly versatile Yang Release, Minato's accursed new jutsu, Orochimaru's unrivaled natural talent, Nawaki's revered Wood Release, Sakumo's awe inspiring genius and now a new Senju. One who could fly and change the course of battle. One whose sensory ability had given Konoha the edge in victory. While I'm happy for Konoha's strength rising, this again puts me at a disadvantage.

Looking down I saw multiple holes in the ground and my own forces battling with Iwa while riding on top of the owl the Senju summoned for him. How much of this would she receive credit for? Without her sensory abilities they would've never known about this trap and without her owls he wouldn't have been able to pull the rats out of the sewers, but it was his skill and battle prowess that allowed them to outsmart their underground foes and kill the enemies she hadn't detected.

They had trapped his men in a ring of earth and were trying to use rockslides and boulders to bury them however my aerial companion and I were making their plans much more difficult. They started to focus on me, but it was futile. This owl was incredibly mobile and agile and

He had to do more. To ensure this victory would be credited to him. Gathering his chakra, he felt his hatred and anger give rise to even greater power. He let it seep into his eyes before opening them an unfamiliar Sharingan pattern replacing the standard one. "Let's loop around one more time. I want to ensure our victory." His owl partner nodded before the two continued as a grey skeletal form began to take shape around him.

He smirked calling upon the jutsu that would have Iwagakure cowering in their sleep for generations. A word that would send chills and nightmares across the elemental nations for years to come. A technique of pure hate and destruction.

"Susano'o"

(Historia's POV)

I charged at Baki; he was faster than me, so I wasn't going to just let him get the first move. Using Shunpo I closed the distance between us before going for a Water Surface Slash and while he dodged the initial strike it was the torrent of water released after that caused him some damage. In retaliation I found a hard fist planted in my gut sending me back a few feet.

-375 HP Critical Hit

Fuck that hurt. Fuck you dude. He didn't even give a chance to breath as, again he was next to me this time his fist glowing a dangerous orange color. Jumping to the side I watched as his fist released a massive explosion causing me to go flying from the force. Luckily for me I crashed into a pretty sturdy tree allowing me to not fly too far

-2000 HP

Damnit. Even with me dodging the main attack that packed a punch. I sensed him approach me again this another bright orange fist aiming at my face. Leaning back, I slapped his hand upward and released a Wind Style: Gale Palm directly at him to create some more distance. While the attack barely fazed him it did allow me to create just a little bit of space to create 8 chakra chains. We both steeled ourselves before charging at one another.

Mixing in my chains with my taijutsu I began punching, kicking, and trying to stab my opponent. Unfortunately, the Jonin out classed me in taijutsu, using open palms and small explosions to block my chains or even myself. Eventually he saw an opening and slammed his palm into my gut and blasting me with a small explosion. He followed up with a roundhouse that proceeded to have me spinning in the air. As I slammed onto another branch, I tried to catch my breath, but Baki wasn't having that, as an explosion enhanced knee found its way into my chest and the air was knocked out of me. My vision was getting hazier by the second, but I wasn't about to just let him kill me. Shakily I stood back up and watched as he jetted up to me. He had too much momentum to stop and found himself impaled by three of my chains blocking the other two, one of his arms went limp as the chain tore through his shoulder. I smiled as the second one was lodged in his left side and the third found its way to his thigh, that would slow him down, I hope.

-525

He was pissed however and charged through my chains to plant two fist into my gut before blasting me through the trunk of the tree and sending me to the ground. If it weren't for me recalling my other chains to block the attack, I'd be dead. I dispersed my chain seeing as they weren't usable at that point and watched as again, he jetted towards me. This time with a more charged explosion.

-1050

330/5330

Going through my hand signs I decided to give this bastard a taste of his own medicine. Right when he was directly in my line of sight, I released my newest earth style ninjutsu. "EARTH RELEASE: EARTH FLOW SPEARS!" Multiple spears of stone rose around me and were headed toward his charging body. He countered by releasing an explosion from his fist destroying most of the spears, a few still found their marks and pierced through his body however. He cried out in pain as I jumped over the spears heading up a tree, to create more space.

-4950 HP, Inflicted Bleeding Status

Baki pulled the spikes out of body before looking at me with murder in his eyes. With a burst of rage and two explosions released from the bottom of his feet he flew towards me like a rocket before driving a fist into the stomach of one of my shadow clones from earlier who shielded me from the blast afterwards. The force sent me sailing through the air. Damnit! Sensing around me I found everyone else dealing with enemies, so regrouping wasn't an option at this point. I landed on a branch and was greeted with the sight of him flying towards me again this time his fist covered in lightning. Explosion Release combines lightning and earth natured chakra but because of the superiority effect it takes a lot more earth natured chakra to use. If he's switching to lightning jutsus it must mean he's running out of chakra. Perfect. I let his fist smash into my chest, while reaching out to hold on to his arms.

To my delight and his horror, the lightning around his arm slowly dissipated as it was absorbed into my hands. "Lightning Release: Reflection of Ideals Bitch"

-700 CP

Well would ya look at that. 550 Lightning CP is just what the doctor ordered. Opening my mouth, I released a massive blast of pure lightning roaring out as I did "LIGHTNING RELEASE: VIBRANT ROARING THUNDER FANG" The beam of energy engulfing Baki, a massive amount of electricity coursed through his body. I released so much lightning through him that it broke the tree line and shot into the sky. I could feel the Iwa Shinobi's eyes on me as they watched my jutsu tear through their commanding officer, but unfortunately for them Yume, Daichi, my owls and my last remaining clone began to tear through them with ease. When the jutsu finally ended I fell to one knee panting that was exhausting.

-950 CP (Reduced)

CRITICAL HIT

Baki was a charred messed his blackened skin was burnt beyond recognition. It smelled horrible and it didn't take long for me to puke. As I struggled to regain my composure, I reached out with my senses, the Iwa shinobi had been mostly wiped out. Yume, Daichi and the other Genin didn't take long before appearing at my side after the last few had been defeated. "Report." I steeled myself. I was still in command after all.

"We wiped them out. Most of them were Chunin and Genin a lot the Jonin were caught in the blast or rubble apparently. Those that weren't fell to your owls or a surprise attack. The bombing strategy was still the determining factor in our victory today. What are your orders?" Yume's voice was stern, but her concern was still notable. I took a look at my team. We looked horrible. Several members of the team were panting and sweating, all of them had bruises and cuts, some were bleeding more than others but no one escaped without at least one nasty looking injury. Yume and Daichi looked the healthiest and even then, they had seen better days. Despite that we hadn't finished our original mission and I was a Senju. A failure to complete a mission would not be tolerated.

"Our original mission still technically isn't complete." I watched as some of their faces tensed. All of them except Yume and Daichi were scared of my next words. "That being said Orochimaru's reinforcements are arriving now and a lot of you are injured. Heal up and return to base, Yume, Daichi let's go."

Shirodaki, and to other owls Bokuto and Akaashi two twin horned owls with a white underbelly, black feathers and gold tips, talons, and eyes landed before us. We each climbed on, the other two dispelling and returning to their realm to recover. As Orochimaru's reinforcement came into view we took off heading toward our original destination. The sight that greeted us was unfathomable. The Iwa squad was much larger than I originally sensed and had surrounded our men in a ring of earth, it looked as if they got our men in the clearing before causing the ring to rise above them. They were either perched on top or they were sticking on the walls shooting rocks down to crush us or fighting the ones attempting to climb the makeshift walls. Fugaku was inside some giant skeletal avatar and was attempting to hold off their forces as our forces attempted to make tunnel to escape.

"Give em hell." The three of us flew around the top of the ring dropping explosive tags and giving our allies an opportunity to counterattack. Iwagakure was too stunned to do anything at first but quickly regained their bearings and started shooting at us. Unfortunately, for them Fugaku capitalized on this summoning two swords of chakra and began slashing and releasing waves of chakra to strike them. Konoha's counterattack had begun and Iwa was helpless to stop it eventually our shinobi reached the top rings after our bombs cleared them out.

When the last of the enemy had been defeated, I flew down and landed next to Fugaku. "Mission complete Uchiha-sama." He looked down at me his face still set in that cold frown before smirking and patting my head.

"Excellent work, Senju." I wish I could say I did something cool like nod or ask who's next, but I didn't. I fainted, ruining yet another cool moment.

Waking up back at camp was easily the most awkward thing ever. For those that didn't know me I was some sort of hero or prodigy. Apparently, my exploits had reached Konoha as well. Tamayo-sensei had scolded me for my reckless behavior and for pushing myself to the absolute limit. She was also pretty pissed that I left all the patients to her and vowed to kick my ass one day to teach me a lesson. Sakumo-sensei congratulated me and told me I earned some one on one tutoring, the glint his eye worried me deeply. While he tried to play it off in front of me apparently, he'd been running around talking about his awesome ass students. Daichi hadn't left my side until I was healed and woke up, to which he promptly stole another kiss from me before rushing off to get me some food and water. Yume had been with him as well, but she also continued to train. I was sensing a bit of a rivalry forming between us, and I was slightly excited.

Once I was cleared to leave the medical tents all hell broke loose as the shinobi in camp began hounding me with inquiries on my victory. It was a little overwhelming until Tamayo-sensei kicked them all out and forced me to help her heal the other injured.

Apparently, our unexpected victory, required us to capitalize on the situation. Iwa wasn't expecting to lose that many shinobi and Kongoryu fortress was at the weakest it would ever be. It was now or never in terms of taking the palace. Konoha had sent reinforcements down to aid in this endeavor, one of them being Sakumo-sensei's eldest son. When I heard I was surprised, mainly due to the fact I had never heard of Kakashi having an older brother in my past life but maybe it was something I'd skipped or came from an exclusive interview. Normally I wouldn't care but everyone was making a big deal about it, so I guess my interest was piqued.

It had been three days since I was discharged and due to Tamayo-sensei finally giving me a break tomorrow I decided to head to a small campfire where Shinobi were gathered. Due to our victory, Orochimaru had allowed us one night of drinking and tonight was said night. Looking around I saw some people dancing lewdly, others were drunk off their ass and some were flat out passed out. It was all very entertaining. As I walked around chatting with drunk shinobi, I found my back bumping into someone or something hard. "Watch it pipsqueak." Turning around I saw a tall teen with bulging muscles. He was wearing black pants and a button up tank top. His arms each had a gold band around their upper biceps, and he was wearing black fingerless gloves. His hitae-ite was around his forehead but it was studded with diamonds and had two strings of the gem flowing down the headplate on the bottom corners. His red eyes bore into mine as searching for something.

"Your- "The next thing I knew I was in is arms, as he was landing on the ground several meters away from the campfire. "You're a player just like me, aren't you?" He nodded. "Why are you dressed like Tengen from Demon Slayer, you look ridiculous?" The Tengen look alike deadpanned before sighing and running his hand through his hair.

"You must have not had paid attention during character selection. I chose the perk that allowed you to rework a character from a different universe and so I picked this one." He even sounded like Tengen. Weird.

"Huh, I never got that choice…" He looked at me in surprised and then we both shrugged. Guess it wasn't important. An awkward silence rang out between us, as he just stared at me.

"What are you looking at?"

"I can't see your stats; it keeps saying I have to wait until you update them." Oh shit… I totally forgot to update my stats after those missions. Shit…

"Give me a sec."

Holy shit that was a lot of rewards. Looking back on it that was the closest I'd come to death, throughout my entire second life. In a way it made sense as to why I received so many perks. The craziest thing was explosion release. I wouldn't be able to test it out soon but just having it was incredible. I never thought I'd get the chance to add another Kekkei Genkai but who am I to complain. Going into my stats I saw I had 20 points I could spend. I decided to dump 5 into STR and DEX, 2 into INT and WIS, and 6 into VIT. That last fight taught me I needed to be able to take more hits. After finishing my upgrades, I turned to look at 'Tengen'.

"Better?" I asked with a smirk on my face.

"Nope. Now its saying access denied. Oh well doesn't matter to me. I'm heading back to camp don't drink too much I might wanna spar tomorrow." With that he vanished, leaving me in some random clearing. Great.

The next few days went by quickly as we prepared to take Kongoryu fortress. No one knew the plan, but everyone knew to stay ready. Tamayo-sensei was teaching me more and more about field medic healing and how I had to ensure that I had enough chakra to keep our comarades alive.

When I wasn't with her Sakumo-sensei was working me to the bone. He had been beating our asses everyday to ensure we could hold our own. Apparently, my state when coming back from battling Baki was unacceptable.

My teammates were just as determined if not more, than I was about our upcoming battle. They had been training with me everyday and pushing themselves to the limit in order to be ready for our next mission.

Yume had been improving and was undergoing some type of special training that according to her, once mastered would put her at the strongest member of our team. Fugaku had taken her under his wing and the improvements were already starting to show. Daichi was also hard at work somehow having convinced his grandfather to send him some scrolls with techniques he called game changers. I was excited to see both in action.

I had been training with Tengen when not training with my team or healing people. The man was insane but damn he was strong. He had helped me improve my kenjutsu and taijutsu to the point I maxed out my taijutsu forms, and progressed in my Earth Breathing Form, Water Breathing Form and Wind Breathing Form. It had started as just a senpai and junior but soon I found myself attracted to the man. He told me in his world Tengen was the guy he always wanted to be, but he was to fat and lazy to change so when he was given the option to become him, he refused to pass it up. He still wasn't at Tengen's level considering he was only 13 but he was getting close. He thought he was ready for his Jonin test. It was hard imagining a 13 year old leading grown men, but when you're a child soldier I guess things like that just end up happening.

Being around him wasn't always easy though. I had started to develop a crush on him which caused me to be confused about my feelings for other's namely Daichi and Minami. Even though one was my teammate who kept stealing kisses and the other was older than me by quite a few years I couldn't help but be attracted to them both. In my old world I never got to express my feelings, due to the stigma around them especially in the military and I firmly believed here would be the same. I was attracted to men and women, yet I didn't quite know how to handle that. I'd had my flings in the past, but I never let myself get too attached in fear of being rejected by my peers. Luckily though one of my crushes had reassured me and help me sort through it all.

Minami had come into the makeshift clinic every other day asking me to heal her sore back. She told me how proud she was of me as a fellow kunoichi and made good on her promise. We talked quite a lot during her routine massages, and I learn a lot about her. She came from a long line of prestigious shinobi, with her dad being Hokage-sama's younger brother, and her mother being a former War Maiden for the Uzumaki. She was the result of a one night affair, which caused some strife on her home life, but she didn't let it bother her. When Uzu realized that they would fall, she and many other children were sent to build a life in Konoha. She talked about her friends and her half-siblings and how much she cherished and missed them. She told me about how different Uzu life was and how jarring it was too not see many same sex couples in the village. I immediately pestered her about it hoping to learn more which she found amusing.

She wasn't surprised to learn of my bisexuality and assured me no one would judge me for it, as many shinobi were like that. She told me to take it slow and focus on the war but afterward if I lived, I should take some time to explore that side of myself. She also understood why my sexuality was mostly a secret. Senjus were supposed to be the model leaf citizen and while the shinobi might not have taken issue with my sexuality, the civilians damn sure would. I enjoyed our talks and had the sneaking suspicion that they were more for me than her.

Smiling to myself, I began training my elemental manipulation. Tengen had taught me the elemental chakra flow techniques and I wanted to master my elemental manipulation so I could use them effectively. As I sat there meditating a strange crow perched itself on my shoulder. Opening my eyes, I saw a note attached to it telling me I being summoned to the Battle Tent.

When I arrived, I was greeted to the sight of our top hitters, Orochimaru, Sakumo-sensei, Fugaku, Tamayo-sensei, Minami, three ANBU and Tengen himself. "Welcome, child please sit we have much to discuss." Taking a seat, I could feel everyone watching me. "As you know we must take Kongoryu Fortress, Iwa is shifting a massive amount of troops to the fortress in order to use it as their crossing point into Takigakure. Our troops to the North are too exhausted to send sufficient reinforcements and are currently dealing Kumogakure attacks as well. Hiruzen-sensei has implored upon me that we must capture that fortress before reinforcements can arrive. The original plan may have been thwarted by Iwagakure, but that plan was never going to succeed anyway."

Everyone tensed. Orochimaru had basically admitted to sending us on a suicide mission, and none of us, especially those on the mission like Fugaku, Minami and even myself were happy to hear we were considered expendable. Tamayo-sensei's chakra rose dramatically as she glared at the man. "How dare you, sending young people to their deaths for what your sick amusement?" Orochimaru barely spared her a glance before smirking.

"I know the daughter of Danzo Shimura isn't calling me sick. I'm just doing what he did during the Katanagi Ravine incident." Holy shit… he's right. I watched as everyone's face went from to cold anger to a sick grimace. The Katanagi Ravine incident was one a dark stain in Konoha history. Danzo Shimura in an effort to weaken Kirigakure forces sent two small forces to attack both their reinforcements and the main base they were leaving from as it would technically make them vulnerable. Kiri had anticipated this and laid a trap, as they sent a second force to flank the attackers heading for the reinforcements from behind. Danzo had anticipated this and it was what he wanted them to do. He wanted them to believe he was so desperate to win that base, that he was willing to go for one large push. They thought he'd gather his army for a massive attack so, Kiri had prepared for a siege when in reality, a small covert ops team was sent in to destabilize the base and open the gates for the main forces to enter and attack. However, to do this the force attacking the reinforcements and being used as a distraction were overwhelmed and many lives were lost. When asked how could he do that to his comrades, all Danzo stated was that it was an honor to die for one's village. Many called for his arrest, some his execution, but due to it being a major factor in defeating Kirigakure, and something that would eventually lead to Konoha's overall victory, the Hokage could only strip him of command and place him in the village as a permanent advisor. To this day it was considered one of the most cold and callous moves in shinobi history.

"I'm not my father and even he received backlash for such a heartless move. Both of you are sick. I will be reporting this to the Hokage and the war committee." I'd never seen Tamayo-sensei so angry. Turning to look at Orochimaru I saw that same smug smirk on his face. He didn't' look fazed at all. Somehow I had a feeling one or both of them knew what he was doing and turned a blind eye to it.

"What's done is done Shimura-san. Now Orochimaru how do you propose we get into the fortress? The Iwa shinobi put up a chakra barrier and a sensory barrier." Fugaku's stern voice, got us all back on track.

"Ah yes. Well, the plan is simple. I have small agents on the inside who have identified the sensory and barrier teams. In 6 hours, they will be injected with a poison that will disrupt their nerve system. Once that happens, we will have exactly 10 seconds to get through the gap. Before the backups arrive. Historia, you will lead three small teams in from above. Alpha squad will be an assassination squad and distraction squad, their task, finding and killing the barrier and sensory team. Beta squad will be tasked with ensuring the drawbridge on the Iwa side does not get lowered. Tinally, Gamma squad will be tasked with lowering the bridge on our side. Alpha squad will consist of Historia Senju, Yume Uchiha, Daichi Sarutobi, Ryujin Kiizen, Tengen Hatake and Lion. Beta Squad will consist of Fugaku Uchiha, Minami Uzumaki, Jin Mitarashi and Yokushiro Uchiha. Gamma squad will consist of Sakumo Hatake, and our lovely guests Bear and Tiger. Historia, please summon the fastest owls you can."

I summoned the six fastest owls I could, as soon as I did Minami was by my side concern written all over her face as she replenished my chakra. "I'll be fine." My strained voice and weak promise did little to appease her concern.

Orochimaru looked at me. "You will be the key player in this operation. I'm trusting you to succeed in all three objectives or else we will fail understood?" I nodded.

If I weren't a Senju, I'm sure the pressure would have been to much however, I am a Senju, thus I had no choice but to face it head on. This is what I was built for, and I selected this choice knowing that. I left the tent and headed to a clearing where I could meditate. I just needed to be away and clear my head. Daichi and Yume were with my owls ensuring everything was ready for the battle. I had to win. This was my moment.

Up in the clouds my owls were carefully watching, the barriers were supposed to go down in the next 30 sec. Yume and Daichi were with me on Shirodaki as we waited for the signal. Bokuto carrying Ryujin who I learned was a taijutsu specialist with a knack for lightning style ninjutsu, Lion the ever quiet ANBU member who revealed nothing, though their chakra felt familiar, and Tengen whose chakra was already erratic as if struggling to break out. Minami and Yokushiro were riding Akaashi and both seemed calm and focused, mentally preparing for the mission at hand. Fugaku and Jin were paired up with, Geten a snow owl and the older brother to Shirodaki. Their cold demeanor fit perfectly with each other. Bear and Tiger were with Akaji an orange owl who was a master at flame release. I didn't know much about him, but I knew he was a strong warrior and would be integral to our victoras would the two ANBU. Lastly, Kuburu was summoned to escort Sakumo-sensei, the two so similar in demeanor that there was absolutely no question about their synergy.

The fortress below us was a lot bigger than I originally imagined. There were four buildings in total, each made of white stone and with dark green clay roofs surrounded by walls that were lined with anti-invasion seals. There were three smaller buildings surrounding the main building, two on each side of the river and one further up. Our targets were the two on the side as they controlled the bridge. The main building was massive about three times the size of its compatriot buildings. That was where the barrier buildings were and where my team would primarily be operating. Throughout the island many tents and camps had been set up for the occupying Iwa forces. The cloudy night sky giving us sufficient cover from where we'd be dropping in.

After a few more seconds the barriers dropped, and we started our descent as the owls began to dive bomb, Shirodaki lead the way as the wind rapidly rushed past my hair whipping through air. The harsh wind we we're facing began obscuring my vision, but my chakra sense was working overtime clocking every signature I could read. As I struggled to hold on and get a sense of what I was heading into my chakra sense suddenly went crazy, trying to alert me to something being wrong. I tried to search for it when I noticed the same chakra signatures that were creating the barriers were still molding their chakra. It was too late to alert the others, but I'm sure I didn't have to as the chakra barrier began to quickly rise again. "THE BARRIER IS RISING AGAIN YOUR GRACE!"

"Stay calm Shirodaki, can you make it through?"

"Yes, but I doubt the others will, Bokuto maybe."

"Tell everyone the parameters have changed. We'll have to go at this on our own."

Shirodaki picked up speed and made it past the barrier, immediately slowing down once she did so. Looking up we saw the others halt in their advance except for three black dots. They were jetting towards us with the barrier still rising nearing completion. Three loud booms were heard, and I was absolute floored at the sight. "No way." Lion, Ryujin and Tengen all zoomed past the barrier right as it shut. I'd trained enough with him to know exactly what happened. Holy shit, Tengen really threw them. Having already jumped off Shirodaki, she cloaked herself in white lightning and zipped through the air. She caught the three in her talons before dropping them off next to me on the roof. I could sense the Iwa forces begin to rouse. They knew we were here.

"What do we do now? You are technically still in command Senju." Said Lion, their voice familiar to me as well. I looked around six us, three shinobi. I could cut our losses, or we could try to complete the mission. As a Senju it was a no brainer.

"The mission will continue. Uchiha and Sarutobi you'll handle assassination, Lion and Kiizen you'll take the securing of the bridge, Tengen and I will take down the other bridge. Shirodaki, can you reverse summon the others we'll need a distraction?"

"Yes, Your Grace. I'll contact them at once."

(Sakumo's POV)

"DAMNIT OROCHIMARU!" I grabbed him by the collar and lifted him into the air. My blood was boiling. These were my kids. My damn kids!

"Oh Sakumo, I apologize I didn't know you cared so much. I'll arrange for a nice bouquet for each of them." The punch to his face would cost me a lot.

"SAKUMO! ENOUGH! Orochimaru, what's your backup plan."

"None." This time Tamayo slapped him.

"You bastard! Those are children! You knew this would happen, you asshole." Tamayo was livid, her anger with the Snake Sannin reaching a peak.

"Listen. I may have had an idea that this could have happened, but the chances weren't high enough for me to consider it a serious probability, besides we were running out of time and the brass were expecting results."

"What was the probability?"

"40%." The next strike was Fugaku's

"The next person that strikes me is losing that hand."

"We need to go in and grab them." I wasn't going to just let them die. "Give me a team, I can find my own way in."

"No. Everything is going to plan." The killing intent in the room was palpable. We all turned to him.

"You knew this would happen? You sent my clansmen in for certain death? Why?" His Mangekyo activated.

"Yes. I suspected it would which is why I sent them in first. I knew if we couldn't get in I needed the six strongest yet unnoticeable shinobi possible, which is why I picked them. Two Senju both with the potential to for Wood Release, an Uchiha who is the descendant of Madara himself, a Sarutobi who has the potential to surpass his father, a Hatake who's invented his own style of ninjutsu, and a genin who could open 4 gates, what an utterly fascinating team. What made them the most efficient though is that all of them have low enough reserves to not set off any major sensors something any of us would surely do. Let's see how this plays out shall we."

(Historia's POV)

Things were not fine. Tengen and I were running through the drawbridge fortress, blades out and cutting down each and every shinobi we cam across. Iwa was not making it easy on us. We had stayed with the group until we reached a safe distance to jump and then jump through a window of the smaller building to infiltrate it. What greeted us when we got there were 13 floors of Iwa Shinobi, each out for our heads.

Thank Kami for my owls as the devastation they caused on the outside distracted enough of the forces to not completely overwhelm us. I had a sneaking suspicion they were also keeping more shinobi from reaching the building.

I had activated Shunpo to keep up with Tengen his speed augmented by his sound based jutsu. The booming and bursting of sound was loud and disorienting but it caused our opponents to falter. Allowing me to quickly slash at and kill the enemy shinobi.

The problem was there was so many of them and surprise could only go so far Tengen was using his sound manipulation to enhance the power of his swords. His ability to mix sound ninjutsu, bombs, and the chakra flow being a devastating one as he slashed through weapons and bodies alike. As we fought, I noticed the sensory dome and barrier went down. Yume and Daichi had completed their assignment and now it was up to us to complete the rest of the mission.

As we descended the steps, I knew we were at the last leg of our journey. The sooner that bridge opened the better. "TENGEN, ONE LAST PUSH!"

"HELL, YEAH WILD GIRL!"

The two of us rushed through the hallway littered with Iwa Shinobi, Tengen launching disorienting bombs to confuse and deafen our enemies. "THUNDERCLAP AND FLASH: SIXFOLD: GODSPEED." Godspeed was an enhanced version of the regular version allowing me to move x3 times as fast and do three times as much damage. I rushed through our enemies cutting into them with an almost unfathomable speed. It cost about half of my reserves, but I was able to kill the massive horde in front of us and reach the room where the gates were.

Tengen jumped down after me landing on my right side. As we went to lower the gate, I sensed something incredibly vile. Right as I went to pull the lever down the sense grew even closer. "GET BACK!" Tengen and I jumped back as a crescent shaped blade of red chakra slashed at the shinobi. The energy blade carving a deep trench in the ground.

Looking to the side we saw a sickly looking shinobi wielding two sickles dripping with some red liquid. "Tengen. Stay back. Get that bridge lowered." This guy was different. Looking at Tengen I could see he was sweating profusely. Was he tired? "You good?"

"Look at his stats, we gotta do this together."

Damnit

(Yume's POV)

Finding the barrier and sensory team was easy. Killing them hadn't been as easy but we had managed to do so pretty effectively. Everything was going our way. Until the third barrier came up. "Orochimaru didn't plan for this." Our mission still wasn't complete. Using my Sharingan I scanned around and found the source of the chakra powering the barrier. "Two floors down. The chakra is being guarded by someone with massive reserves. Let's bring the roof down." Daichi just looked at me before smirking and placing two hands on the ground. I jumped on top of ceiling and watched as the ground fell.

"Lava Release: Falling Hell." The floor caved in, and molten rock fell through the ceiling catching everyone on both floors beneath us. I waited until the heat died. Before dropping down and landing on the cooling rubble. Daichi and looked at the doors in front of us. In between us and our target was a tall woman with black hair and blue highlights, her outfit consisting of a standard Iwa body armor over a mesh shirt and a slitted red long skirt. She also wore two forearms' protectors with fingerless gloves.

The shinobi in question, charged her fist glistening crimson as she attempting to smash my head in, luckily my Sharingan allowed me the few extra seconds to react and dodged. Quickly shifting to the left I coated my blade in flames and swung at the metal woman. Her arm blocking my blade with a resounding CLANG.

Daichi charged in next his fist glowing red he drove one into her gut pushing her back for pressing rushing forward and planting a series of strikes each stronger than the last. The woman was unable to do anything during the ruthless onslaught, but she continued smirking hit after hit until eventually I saw it.

"DISENGAGE!" It was too late as crimson spikes came in from the walls, ceiling and ground their intention on impaling us. Daichi's athleticism and high combat intuition allowed him to dodge most of the spikes while I used my Sharingan to stay alive.

"This ain't gonna be easy, huh?"

(Historia's POV)

Tengen and I were forced to dodge yet another energy slash as Gyutaro had been intent on cutting us down. Nothing we we're doing was working against him, damnit. He was somehow able to channel chakra into his sickles and release waves energy slashes that we could barely dodge or block. His sickly body being protected by a storm of energy whenever we pressed him. These were the opponents I hated the most. The ones that couldn't be blitzed were usually a hard counter to me. Damn genes, I should have focused on more long range combat methods.

"Ohohoho is this the famous Senju weakness that I've heard of? All close or mid-range with no way to fight from long distance in any meaningful way hahahahhahahaha! Too bad you can't use wood release maybe then you would have a chance gigigigigigi." His taunting while annoying was right. Senju were meant to fight up close, as were Shihoin shinobi. I'd spent all my time focusing on my healing abilities and close range abilities, that I couldn't even get to him.

My only long range options were my chains, which he could easily block, my weaker wind ninjutsu that wouldn't be too useful or my Vibrant Roaring Thunder Fang, but the room was too small, and we'd be caught in the blast.

Tengen's attacks weren't doing any better. From what I've seen his sound ninjutsu is primarily just him creating a compressed pocket of sound and releasing it as a burst to augment his striking power or speed. They could also be used as a sort of sonic boom, but Gyutaro quickly figured out how to cut through the sound bubbles and nullify them. We were screwed.

"There's no time to dwell on what we should have done. We must find a way to deal with him now." It was as if Tengen could hear my very thoughts, looking up at him I saw him staring intently at Gyutaro as if trying to figure something out.

We needed a way to get in close and end this. Tengen charged again doing much better than before at blocking the chakra slashes and getting closer to Gyutaro. I decided to circle around them and try to find an opening. As I watched the two duke it out, I noticed Gyutaro didn't release his attacks in one set pattern. Left, right, left, left, spin, right, right, left, right, right, underhand, overhand, diagonal right, left, diagonal right, diagonal right, spin, underhand. I got it "SWITCH!"

Tengen leapt back, as I took off. Taking in as much air as I could I charged at the Gyutaro "Water Breathing Form 3: Flowing Dance of the Marlin" As I got closer, I began twisting and rotating my body, while summoning up as much water chakra as I could. Gyutaro smirked, his arrogance telling him he this would be an easy win. Oh, how wrong he was.

He started swinging right and then left, both blocked by the water rotating with my body. The next one's two rights, again I countered my water covered blade cutting through the energy slashes with ease. Anticipating the spin, I jumped over it and him before slashing into him a torrent of water cutting into his back and sending him flying and smashing into the wall. I ended the technique before gasping for air, the stress of the technique still too much for my body at time.

As I struggled to catch my breath, my chakra sense screamed danger at me, leaping back I barely avoided being bifurcated in two as Gyutaro slashed me across my stomach. The white hot pain nearly unbearable.

Congratulations you have unlocked the skill [Danger Sense]

You have been afflicted with the status [Badly Poisoned]

What the fuck? I watched Gyutaro stand with ease from what should have been a critical hit. Did he heal himself?

What the hell? "MwuaMwuaMwauMwua did you think that little attack would beat me? Ohohohoho foolish little Senju, haven't you heard I'm Gyutaro the blood demon my little sister and I can't be beaten hahahahaha, at least not by something like that. How'dya like my poison huh? Gigigigigigigigigi if only you were Tsunade maybe you could keep fighting but alas, you'll die in seconds hmmmm." As much as I wanted to punch his ugly wart covered face the man was right. I thought I secured the win, but I got too cocky. I could feel how the poison was slowly moving through my body, yet I couldn't do anything about it less I become a sitting duck.

Gyutaro charged at me again sickle raised to finish me off at least until Tengen appeared blocking his blade with one and slicing his chest with the other a large amount of crimson blood flowing from his chest. Gyutaro let out a screeching wail before shooting Tengen with spikes of his blood, unfortunately being that close, he could only block the ones heading toward vital organs.

Gyutaro leapt back clutching his chest as the blood began to clot and close the wound. "HOW DID YOU DO THAT? TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME! I HATE GUYS LIKE YOU! PRETTY BOYS WHO SAVED THE GIRLS AND GET ALL THE ADMIRATION AND LOVE! GUYS WHO DON'T HAVE TO WORK FOR ANYTHING! EVERYTHING JUST COMES TO YOU! YOU BASTARD! TELL ME PRODIGY HOW'D YOU DO IT YOU BASTARD!?" Holy shit this guy was insane. Something was off.

"Tengen-kun. He doesn't seem to take hits often. We should capitalize on that." I noticed my usage of kun got him more heated. Good I wanted this bastard to unravel to the point we can get an opening and end him.

"Agreed. Right now though, you're a liability. Clear yourself of the poison and then rejoin the battle. Thanks to you I figured out the rhythm of his attacks and the frequency of his chakra. I can handle myself for a little while." This was another facet of his skillset. Tengen could literally turn attack patterns into songs and counter them by matching his movements to that rhythm. The more you fought him the more he heard and the better he got at countering you. He could also change his chakra's frequency at will an incredibly difficult task. When he first explained it to me I wasn't completely confused but now seeing it in action I got it. Chakra functioned a lot like a wave each persons chakra operated at a certain amplitude, wavelength, height, and frequency. Tengen had figured out that a way to completely nullify a jutsu was to hit it with chakra at the same wavelength, height and frequency but reverse ampliture. During this entire fight he was listening to Gyutaro's chakra frequency and had successfully come up with the counter allowing him to nullify and bypass his armor. It was incredible and the notion supported the notion that Sakumo's line had only produced prodigies and that eventually they'd surpass even the First Hokage.

"HUH WHAT ARE YOU WHISPERING HUH!? AREN'T YOU GOING TO TELL ME PRODIGY!?" Gyutaro continued to unravel before us. He was scratch his face as if he couldn't fathom what was happening to him.

Tengen looked at him before smirking. "Why would I? Unlike you, cool guys don't give out their secrets, until the end. I'm guessing you've never had a girlfriend because she would've told you that too." It didn't even take a second for Gyutaro to release a bloodcurdling scream, the two clashing with each other once again as I began clearing the poison in my body. Watching as sound, fireworks, chakra and blades began clashing.

Be careful Tengen.

(Daichi's POV)

"DAICHI!" I could hear Yume yell as I was once again sent flying. Our opponent, Daki was seriously starting to piss me off. Her damn blood manipulation was giving her some sort of crimson armor that allowed her to make six tentacles of blood each as hard as steel but mobile like a tentacle. We couldn't do anything to counter them as we couldn't get close to her without dodging or block them, a task much easier said than done.

"I'M FINE DAMNIT, FOCUS ON YOURSELF!" Daki was on our asses and nothing we tried was working, her tentacles easily blocking our attacks. I needed a way to get closer. Standing I began to wipe the blood on my head, before getting an idea. Hihi wasn't the only one with summons. I went through the required hand seals before slamming my bloody palm on the ground, calling forth a giant plume of smoke. Yume jumped behind it for cover after a failed onslaught.

"I have an idea, but it'll only work for twice so we to get it right. I can create an opening and you'll have about 3 seconds to finish her. Just follow my lead." When the smoke cleared there were two small spider monkeys and a juvenile silverback. The spider monkeys were both mainly orange with golden eyes and they were wearing kimono. One was wearing an orange kimono with red flames on the sleeves and the bottom while the other was wearing a black kimono with blue lightning lining the edges. The gorilla was a jet black with green eyes and wore a purple vest over a mesh shirt and dark grey pants. These were my familiars Ensaru, Raisaru, and Kageken.

"I need your help. This bitch is strong."

"OOOOOOOH Enma-sama won't like this ya'know" Ensaru's high pitched voice was right.

"AAAAAAAAH Enma-sama will so maaaad at us ya'know" Raisaru followed.

"Hmm" Kageken just grunted, at least he had my back.

"I'll give you 5 banana's a week if you help out."

"DEAL!" The two jumped into the air before executing their hand signs and transforming "Adamantine Staff Transformation." The two combined and transformed into one staff, one half being white with a blue tip and the other being black with a red tip. Catching the staff, I looked to Kageken. His palms slapping away two of the tendrils as they attempted to skewer me.

"Dude, I owe you so much fruit." My response was a toothy grin before he jumped into the staff as well, the only visible change being a green emerald appearing in the middle. Closing my eyes, I allowed Raisaru to begin channeling lightning chakra in my body, while Ensaru began raising my body heat allowing me to gain a heat armor. "Yume, let's go!"

The two of us charged with me taking the lead. The tendrils came at us again and I began blocking them with the staff. My speed exponentially enhanced by the coating of lightning chakra throughout my body. After using the staff to block one directly to my chest a small opening form. I didn't even need to say anything as Yume had jump through her blade covered in dark red and almost black flames.

"Hell Breathing Form 1: Hellfire Scorch!" I watched as the attack landed a massive burst of flames ripping through the room as it connect. Had I not been training with Ensaru the heat would have been too much jumping back to create some distance, I saw the flames hadn't died down. Did she lose control of her jutsu? Unfortunately for us, that wasn't the case. As the flames died down, I could see Yume's blade in Daki's hands and tentacles. While many of her tentacles were getting burnt away the crimson aura seemed to be protecting her hands. When the technique finally died down the Iwa shinobi was still up, her teeth gritted in pain as her jutsu dropped and her arms true nature were revealed both being very burnt and ugly. An angry expression on her face as she kicked Yume all the way back to me. She wasn't done though sending her tentacles after her with a quickness, intent on impaling her. Luckily I was close enough to jump in the way, once again whipping out my staff as I tried my hardest to block them the lightning and fire cloaks already being deactivated to save their usage. Unfortunately for us it seemed like Daki's rage had empowered her as the tentacles had doubled in both numbers and power. I knew I had to protect Yume, but my body was starting to get hit by the tendrils, as their speed was slowly overwhelming me..

"THAT BITCH BURNT MY BEAUTIFUL SKIN! SHE'S DEAD! GET OUT OF MY WAY LITTLE BOY I'LL PLAY WITH YOU LATER! I'M SURE MANY IN IWA WANT A CHANCE AT DEGRADING THE GREAT HIRUZEN SARUTOBI'S BRAT!" I ignored that statement as I realized that this bitch is actually crazy. Her anger fueling her attacks as they just kept getting faster and harder to defend against.

"That crazy bitch is fucking strong." I didn't have to turn around, to know what type of shape she was in, after hearing Yume's pained voice. "That thing we did last time, let's do it again I can cut her this time."

"You sure about that!?" my response through gritted teeth as the attacks kept hitting me.

"Yeah you idiot, now go!" I took off charging at Daki, my heat armor and lightning cloak protecting us until even more tendrils appeared.

"KAGEKEN!" I felt his chakra respond to mine as the staff split in the middle connected only by a black chain of shadows "LET'S GO!" Grabbing the middle of the chain I began swing the two sides for an enhance defense radius. My Ensaru and Raisaru added curved blades to the end of the staff turning the weapon into a full on kusarigama. Using the three I cut through and deflected the majority of the tendrils until one knock Raisaru to the ground as I pulled him to block another heading for my chest. I immediately halted my advance leaned back watching as he shot out my shadow having been knocked into one. Looking at Daki, I smirked, I wanted her attention on me and me only. "Pretty ugly miss there huh?" She screamed before sending even more tendrils at me, and while I blocked most four of them still pierced my body.

"DAICHI!" Yume's scream sounded painful; I couldn't tell as my consciousness began to fade. It didn't matter she needed to press on. For the mission. For Hihi.

"GO DON'T WASTE THIS OPPORTUNITY!" I watched through hazy eyes as her blade was again alit with bright dark crimson and almost black flames. Daki must've seen through this ploy as some of her tendrils were now heading towards her. I tried to stand but two large hand gripped my shoulders as four smaller ones took on a green glow and began healing me. Hihi? Help her. Help Yume.

I must've been delirious to think that as I watched Yume dance through the tendrils flames slicing into them with ease as she slashed her way to Daki, her blade changing into a pinkish sword of light. "HELL BREATHING FORM 2: PLASMA RELEASE: LIGHT PIERCING FANG OF THE BUTTERFLY DANCE!" The attack released a huge amount of chakra or light or whatever it was incineration the ceiling and the side of the room Daki was on including the room where the last barrier ninja was. I don't know what type of jutsu Yume was using but I could definitely tell it was painful as Daki screamed out for someone, it sounded like she was calling for her nii-san. If she hadn't been trying to kill us and our own families, I might've felt bad for her. Speaking of which I wonder how Asuma and Kaijin were doing? I hope they were doing better than me.

When the attack ended, I watched as she slowly limped towards me her Sharingan active but different. She was gasping for air as if her lungs couldn't take a single breath and even when she got to me and fell to her knees she continued to gasp.

"The Iwa shinobi will be here soon." Her gasps were my only audible reply as she looked into my eyes. My vision was starting to go, the blood and chakra loss too much for my body to handle while consciousness. She grabbed my head, mouthing for me to stay awake and look at her but all I wanted to do was nap. Yeah, a nap sounds good. When you're tired you begin to hallucinate, and I was definitely tired. I was seeing three of her and that was hallucinating right? Her eyes kept changing. From a flower to Sharingan, flower to Sharingan. That's impossible right? Fuck, I was delirious. Fuck. I just need to nap.

I could hear men shouting as the darkness in the corners of my eyes were beginning to spread. Suddenly the shouting was replaced by a ferocious wind and then a tornado flames before I suddenly felt myself in the air as my eyes finally closed. Damn, Hihi always saving our asses huh? Smiling, I allowed myself to drift into unconsciousness, content tha my last thought was of her.

(Historia's POV)

"Your Grace, Bokuto and Akaashi have successfully retrieved Daichi-san and Yume-san both in critical position. They are being taken to the base camp now. Iwa forces have begun to mobilize to the drawbridge buildings, but we are holding them off the best we can. I fear they figured out our plan." I released a sigh of relief, after sensing then seeing that massive blast of light I feared for them.

"Tell Geten and Kuburu to defend the building Ryujin and Lion are in, no one gets in! I need you to tell Bokuto to tell Orochi-baka to have the troops ready. In the meantime, you and Akaji keep them from entering this building understood?" This was it. It was on Tengen and I to finish this here and now!

"Yes, Your Grace, victory shall be yours." I smirked at that, though we hadn't known each other long Shirodaki seemed to have an unyielding faith in me. Our bond was unbreakable, and I couldn't imagine a life without her in it.

"Thank you, my friend." With that I cut the connection my focus returning entirely on the battle. Tengen wasn't doing so great. Gyutaro having grown even wilder since Yume released that blast. He'd already been slashed a bunch, but he was somehow still competing with Gyutaro, landing a few blows of his own. Just a few more seconds.

Gyutaro: 4789/14700

Tengen Hatake: 1340/13200

I needed to end this immediately and I knew exactly what to do accomplish that.

Flashback (Historia's POV)

"Take this." A scroll coming from Minami's direction. I caught it in one hand and pocketed it before turning to continue and stroke Shirodaki as we waited for the mission to start. The owl softly cooing before turning to look at my crush.

"What is it?" I asked avoiding looking in her direction as Shirodaki turned back to me her normally wide eyes scrunching as if she was struggling to find something.

"Hmm, rude. As you know I'm a perfect chakra donor. My chakra type and frequency allows me to share it with basically anyone. That right there is full of it. Enough for to recharge you completely. If you find yourself in a bind, take it and do what you gotta do to live. Understand? I consider you a precious person of mine and I'll be damn if I lose you, got it brat?"

My cheeks blushed at her calling me one of her precious people. I shifted so she was in my view and saw a soft but sad smile, like she had done this before. It was only then I realized she had and not all of them had come back.

"I promise."

"Good, and don't you ever accept a gift from me while not looking again! I don't care if you're trying to hide your crush on me from your little partner." Minami's and Shirodaki's shared laughter were her only response as I shifted back to hide my blushing face from her.

You have been cured of your status [Badly Poisoned]

I took out the scroll immediately and allowed the chakra to rush into my body. The rush of energy was exhilarating and way too much for my body to handle. I felt like I was going to explode.

An Ally Has Replenished Your Chakra.

You are now afflicted with the status [Chakra Overload 30000/13492]

Shit. This wasn't good. I learned quickly in this world that the amount of chakra a body can hold is like a water balloon. Fill it with the right amount of water and it doesn't stretch enough to pop, but if you kept filling it the balloon will eventually pop. That's what was happening to me, my body literally could not hold all this chakra and if I didn't get rid of it soon, I'd burst.

"TENGEN SWITCH!" Tengen leapt back purple spots littering his body where the poison was most concentrated. "I got it from here." I quickly summoned three clones and took off with two while the third tended to Tengen. Gyutaro charged towards me as well, his expression filled with a searing hatred for us.

My clones and I called forth eight chains each as waves of crimson energy began to come at us. Using our chains, we began blocking said strikes. Gyutaro's swinging was erratic, and his earlier pattern had been long abandoned, now only swinging like a feral beast.

As my twenty four chains began to block his energy waves I felt a searing pain wrack my entire body. Chakra Overload was a bitch. Forming the seals, I used for the Mystic Palm I decided to attempt to spread that chakra all over my body hopefully to waste chakra and possibly alleviate the stress my body was under.

You have created a new skill:

Mystic Protection (Active)[Level 1 – 0.00%]: - The user channels healing energy around their body to create a shroud of healing. This shroud will begin slowly healing wounds while also reducing the enemy's damage. CP Cost: 4000; Duration: 1 min; Damage reduction equals 5%, HP replenish 2000

Holy fuck this was awesome. My clones and I charged again this time a little more reckless on my part. Using my still active chains, blade, and armor I was able to get in the perfect range to set up. Chains still active and blocking all of his slashes I cocked both of my fist back now charged with lightning.

"DOUBLE ADAMANTINE THUNDER!" The loud boom I struck him with was enough to send him flying back, unfortunately for me his damage reduction made what should have been the main course just the appetizer.

Gyutaro stabbed his sickles into the floor to stabilize himself, before rushing me again this time with sharp glowing red tendrils coming out of his back. I quickly activated Shunpo, and we began duking it out, going slash for slash, my kodachi vs his sickle.

Unfortunately, for me though it was a losing battle as he was just too fast for me to keep. I didn't need a notification to see that I was poisoned again. I summoned 12 more chains to assist me and my clones and to hopefully create some space, but it wasn't enough. This continued on for at least 3 mins as I had to reactivate Mystic Protection two more times before a well place chain from my clone threw him back and finally gave me some space.

Gyutaro wasn't one to give though as he quickly broke the chain and charged again. Energy blades circling his arms again. My body was tired and in pain, but this bastard just wouldn't stay down. I decided to go for something different however and coated my blade in wind natured chakra as he got closer. With a burst of speed, I met him and slammed Wind Breathing Form 1: Cyclone Slash into his blades the two rotating jutsu creating a devastating shockwave of wind and chakra until we were both pushed back.

Rolling along the ground I was stop by hitting a broad chest whose arms wrapped around me. As Tengen and I went skidding along the ground until he crashed into a wall on the other side of the room. "You've taken enough damage. I think I can finish this."

Historia Senju: 1000/6808

Tengen Hatake: 1300/13200

"Your clone spent all it's chakra fighting the poison and even then, it couldn't get it all out."

"I can finish this." I knew the words were a lie, but as a medical ninja and the shinobi in charge I couldn't let him sacrifice his life while just watching.

"Not with that poison, in your system, but I can tell this is a useless argument. I just gotta find an opening. I think I can do it. I mean look at him, he's on his last legs." Gyutaro didn't look the best. The sickly looking man was bleeding in several places and panting heavily blood pouring out his mouth. His disease finally taking a toll on him. "I can make that opening and probably end this are you sure you want to go back in?" I looked up. Tengen looked worse than me blood caking the side of his face, and hundreds of cuts along his arms. If he thought, I'd let him sacrifice himself for an opening he must've been out of his mind.

"We do this together, Hatake and that's an order. We'll find an opening together and end it together."

"Fine, back me up with your chains until you see an opening. We only got one shot at this." Tengen released me and we both stood up. Gyutaro was still panting, but was also staring us down, intent on ending our lives.

Tengen crouched in one leg straight the other in front bended before turning his frown into a large smile. His massive blades in hand behind him. "I'VE COMPLETED MY MUSICAL SCORE! WE'RE GOING FOR THE WIN!" With that he took off in a burst of speed and sound, the bottom almost knocking me back. When he reached Gyutaro the two began clashing with Tengen countering the energy blades and sickles. Gyutaro surprised by this decided to unleash his tendrils, however I was prepared to, as me and my clones used our chains to counter them all.

"LET'S GO!" As chains, blood, and sword clashed neither side gave in, both giving their all to win. Gyutaro had begun to grow more erratic and desperate as Tengen continued to parry and block his strikes. My chains were working overtime as I summoned 15 more to keep up with the savage man. Sparks flew as we parried each other, and I honestly had no idea if it would ever end.

Gyutaro was growing frustrated with the sequence of events sacrificed a hit to chest in order to break the chains connecting Tengen's blades and deliver a powerful kick to his chest to send him flying towards me. He sent his tendrils after him as well, but his sickness and weariness worked to our advantage as each one moved consderably slower this time. "WILD GIRL NOW!"

Drawing my blade I charged forward, Tengen using one arm to flip over me, as I was now in the path of the tendrils. Channeling as much chakra as possible I gripped my sword tightly before taking off. Thunderclap and Flash: Eightfold: Godspeed was enough to get me through the tendrils, but a storm of energy blades were also headed my way. Still using that technique, I began rotating, Water Breathing Form 3: Flowing Dance of the Marlin allowed me to dance through the storm of energy blades, dodging or blocking each strike until he was in my range. He attempted to use the rotating blade trick again but my Wind Breathing Form 1: Cyclone Slash augmented by the other two jutsu tore right through it as I slammed into him sending him flying. I rushed after him with a diagonal slash, then a side slash, then a thrust, then another diagonal slash, and another diagonal slash each sending him flying around the room before slamming the seventh into him sending him flying in the air. With a great leap I caught up to his body "TEMPEST BREATHING FORM 1: SIXFOLD CYCLONE DANCE OF THE MARLIN: GODSPEED!"

Using all of my weight and force, I slammed my blade into him, and we both crashed into the ground. It didn't end there however as he released a massive tornado of crescent energy in an attempt to keep my blade from making the final slash needed. My arm was being littered with cuts as he tried to stop my attack, but I didn't care. We we're winning this.

I could feel my arms rising from the force as I tried with all my power to stop him, but it was just too much, and he was too strong. Gritting my teeth, I pressed down harder only for both our attacks to cancel out and for my blade to not only be snapped in half but also shattered. His face lit up in a smile as he brought his sickles up to me ready to end my life, only for his arms to be pulled away from me. His face twisted in shock as he remembered my two chain wielding clones, now using said chains to restrain his arms and tendrils.

The wound on his chest began to glow red as if he'd was going to release a point blank blast to kill me but it didn't matter as I found Tengen's blade in my hand vibrating with the remnants of sonic chakra before coating it in lightning, wind, and water again. "TEMPEST BREATHING FORM 2: STORM JUDGEMENT SLASH!" Bringing down the blade I cleaved straight through Gyutaro's last ditch attack and chest finally ending the man's life. I didn't take any time to celebrate as I we still had a mission to complete. Standing up I headed to the bridge controls to lower it, my body was on fire and I was unable to properly breath. Tengen also tried to help but the exhaustion caught up with him as well, and he fell face first on the ground. My clones in one finally act, rushed toward the controls and lowered the bridge before finally poofing out of existence. What greeted us was a glorious sight. Our forces had been waiting on the other side, and we had finally given them the opportunity they needed. Orochimaru and hundreds of shinobi rushed in surveying the damage we did before moving on to secure the base.

Tamayo-sensei and Minami rushed to my side as another team of medics did the same for Tengen. I tried to hear what they were saying but I was too exhausted so I did what any reasonable person would do. I passed out.
