Don't live in a mansion, can't own Harry Potter! No beta!
No one's POV
Over the next few weeks a sort of cloud settled over Number 12 Grimmauld Place. Remus and Sirius refused to speak to each other, instead creating an unspoken schedule that of sorts so that they never had to be in the same room as the other.
The effect was tumultuous
Remus paced continuously, heavy foot falls could be hurried even in the wee hours of the morning. He was irritable and snapped at people. It was driving Sabine up the wall.
Sirius did the opposite. When he wasn't taking care of Harry (nothing could stop him from doing that), he'd shut himself in his room for hours. Only coming out to eat and pee, and not much else.
By the end of the week, it'd started to take a toll on everyone. Poor little Harry looked so lost, looking between his godfather and his uncle like he'd done something wrong.
Athena got hit hard too, often siting or coloring outside Sirius's door, waiting for him to come out.
And it didn't stop there. They wouldn't even eat at the same table now, Sabine having to run a plate up to Sirius at meal times.
But no, the final straw came when they did run into each other. Sirius had brought his dishes down to clean (something Sabine had thrown dirty looks about) and Remus had just brought in the paper.
Sirius glared down at it but didn't say anything, instead choosing to ignore the sandy haired werewolf and scrub violently at his plate. Remus was just about to walk away when a crash sounded.
They all spun around to find Harry, tears pouring down his small face, shattered glass surrounding him. He must have knocked it off the table.
Eminently, both men rushed forward, pausing only when they came face-to-face.
Sirius, just for an instant, softened slightly at the scene in front of him. Of Remus comforting his godson.
But then it was over, Sirius ripping the little boy out of his arms.
Harry, still covered in glass, only cried harder, confused on why both of his favorite people were yell at each other.
They didn't even notice! To busy arguing to tend to him.
"For fuck's sake!" Sabine finally cried, slamming her glass on the counter and making them both jump.
Remus, of course, jumped at her voice and spun around to stare at her. Sirius doing the same.
"You-both of you! Into the office, NOW." The seer demanded, glaring at him angrily.
"Sabine-"
"No Lupin! This has gone far enough. Look at yourselves?!" She yelled.
Walking over now, the 17-year old plucked the little boy out of their arms.
"Shh shh, it's okay. Their not angry at you. Your uncles just got into a little disagreement, that's all. No one is mad at you love."
Both men looked down in shame.
Sabine turned back to glare at them, eyes murderous.
"I don't want one more word out of you too until I get back. This has gone TO far!" She spat, still bouncing Harry on her hip.
She turned and stormed out of the room, Athena quick on her heels. They left both men in silence.
They were both legal, royalty, fucked.
Short, I know! Just a cold case of writers block. It be nice if SOMEONE would EVER commit and idea (yes, I'm looking at y'all) ever once and a while!
Still, enjoy this chapter and summer break, til next time!
