Renji woke up and felt a person beside him, that he knew all too well. The 6th division lieutenant looked to his side and saw his dark-haired captain lying beside him. His head laying on Renjis shoulder and his arm spread lifeless on the redheads bare chest. Renji couldn't help but smile at his lovers peaceful state while brushing a strand of hair out of his face.

Byakuyas eyes fluttered open at the feel of something brush over his face. He looked at his red-haired lover and smiled slightly, sliding a closer to where there was no more space between them. Byakuya started tracing Renjis tattoos like he did before, while Renji was rubbing his captains arm with the tips of his fingers. The two were so content just staying there, but of course that was too good to last for they heard someone yelling outside.

Byakuya tried to get up to see what was going on, but Renji just pulled him closer. "Renji, what are you doing? We have to see what's going on." The redhead just groaned, but didn't let go.

"But why? There are many soul reapers out there whatever is happening they got it. Its been way to long since I've held you like this." Renji complained. The dark-haired man smiled and climbed on top of his lover. "Byakuya?" Renji exclaimed. Byakuya said nothing and bent down, kissing his redheaded man on the lips. The two shared a long and passionate kiss before Byakuya broke it. He saw the same lust and love in his beautiful brown eyes after sitting up on Renjis lap. Byakuya just grinned and took off out the door. Renji sat there dazed and confused at what just happened.

Byakuya got outside and found Ikakku and Yumichika yelling at each other and not paying attention to the man in front of them. Byakuya cleared his throat softly, but they kept arguing. He mentally rolled his eyes and cleared his throat again, a little louder this time. When they still didn't notice the 6th division captain, he started to get irritated and turned around about to walk back in the building, but stopped quickly from the man standing in front of him. He looked up and saw Renji just staring at the two men arguing in front of them.

"Hey!" Is all he said, loudly. The two stopped immediately and looked at him dumbfounded. "What the hell are you two doing?" He asked them after getting their attention. They just stood there looking at him. "Well?" Renji questioned.

"We were arguing about something." Is all Ikakku said.

"Really? I didn't notice that at all." He said, while rolling his eyes. "What were you arguing about?" They looked at each then looked back at Renji. Yumichika looked away, blushing not wanting to answer the taller man.

"We were trying to figure out what to name the baby and every name I come up with he shoots it down."

"Really? Yall are yelling because you cant come up with baby names?" He looked at them with irritation written all over his face.

"That's not the only thing." Yumichika said quietly.

"Yumi, shut it." Ikakku demanded.

"What is it, Yumichika?" Byakuya asked. They all looked at him, confused at the captain actually showing concern for the poor 4th seat. Yumichika just blushed and looked down. Byakuya walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. Yumichikas eyes went wide at the new emotion Byakuya was finally showing toward someone other than his lover and sister. "Do you mind to take a walk with me?" The dark haired captain asked. Yumichika just nodded and followed as Byakuya started walking away.

"Man, what's up with your boy?" Ikakku asked watching them walk away. Renji stared daggers at the bald shinigami, making him back up a bit.

"Now you start talking." The redhead demanded his friend.

Byakuya was walking with Yumichika, not really caring where they were going. The dark-haired man was patiently waiting for the younger man to start talking. "Where are we going?" Yumichika asked.

"We are just walking. The destination is not important. I'm just concerned. Putting too much stress on your unborn child could result in a…" Byakuya trailed off not being able to say the word.

"I never really thought about that before. I shouldn't trouble you with Ikakku and Is problems. You and Renji have been through enough." Yumichika explained.

"Yes we have, but you and Ikakku are Renjis best friends and you two have been there for us no matter the circumstances. I know I can be tough to get to know and I apologize for that. The way I was brought up, showing emotion was a sign of weakness and I was to never show any kind. I never thought after everything that happened with my late wife that I would ever love again, but Renji being the outgoing man we know showed me otherwise. Even though you and Ikakku never liked me much, you accepted me as Renjis partner, when you didn't have to." Yumichika was surprised. This was the most he had heard from the once uptight captain he knew. He never thought his friends partner would ever say more than two words to him or Ikakku.

Renji has really changed him. I wonder why hes talking to me like this. Is it because I'm the only other man that has became pregnant. Perhaps because I am Renjis friend and Ikakku wouldn't understand very well. We both have outgoing men we love, but I'm sure gets on both of our nerves. I know Ikakku does mine.

"Why are you only talking to me about this?, Yumichika finally asked. Byakuya stopped and Yumichika finally realized where they were. They had reached a clearing with one Sakura tree standing in the middle beside a small pond. Byakuya walked up to the tree, while Yumichika followed. The older shinigami placed a hand on the tree and smiled softly, a single tear fell from his cheek. Yumichika just watched and stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. What can I say when the once col-hearted captain I once knew is crying right in front of me? "Captain Kuchiki?"

He looked at Yumichika and smiled lightly. "This was where I first and last felt my child. Names for your child is not all you and Ikakku were arguing about, but whatever it was could not be more important than your child being safe. Yumichika just be careful and protect your child with everything you have. I thought I was untouchable until a hollow murdered mine. Don't be reckless and rush into battle while you're pregnant and don't argue with the man you love over little things that shouldn't be argued about. Just talk with him and see what you two can work out." Yumichika couldn't help but have a tear roll down his cheek. Byakuya smiled lightly and swept the tear away with the back of his index finger. "Why are you crying?"

Yumichika couldn't help but throw his arms around the older shinigami. "Thank you, Captain Kuchiki." To Yumichikas surprise Byakuya hugged him back. The dark-haired captain started rubbing the top of Yumichikas back, trying to comfort the emotional shinigami.

"For what?" Byakuya asked, softly.

"For everything. Showing me the other side of you, the side that actually cares. For loving Renji and trying to work it out with him. And trying to help me and Ikakku. I didn't think you even cared about us." Byakuya squeezed Yumichika lightly.

"I do care about you and Ikakku." Byakuya let go only to put his hands on each of Yumichikas arms. "I don't care for Ikakkus attitide, but I care about it nonetheless." Yumichika laughed a little at Byakuyas small joke just watching the man go over and sit by the pond under the tree. "Come sit, we've been walking for a while." Yumichika did as he was told and they both sat there quietly.

"Captain, Kuchiki?" Yumichika asked quietly.

"Yes, Yumichika?" Byakuya answered back.

"I'm not trying to upset you, but did you like being pregnant?" Yumichika wondered out loud at the 6th division captain.

"It was certainly different. I never knew women had it so rough when they had to carry a child. My body was not my own. Nor were my emotions. I was very emotional, I would cry about everything. Or get mad about the tiniest issues. But once I felt that flutter and feeling my child's reiatsu inside me, all I could do was smile and hold my stomach." Byakuya explained. He looked over at Yumichika and the younger man smiled slightly. He looked down and rubbed his stomach.

"I feel flutters every now and then. It's amazing what Kurotsuchi has done for the men that share a relationship with another man. He might be crazy as Renji and Ikakku say, but amazing. Do you wanna feel?" Yumichika asked the captain.

"Yes it is amazing. I would love to feel, but I'm afraid I would get too emotional after feeling your child." Byakuya explained.

"I understand, but just let me know if you ever do." Yumichika got up and dusted himself off. "Well we better be heading back, the guys will start to worry." He said as he started walking off.

"You go, I'm gonna stay here for a bit longer. I hope you and your child stay safe and healthy, Yumichika." Byakuya's voice broke a little at the mention of Yumichika's baby, but he still smiled back at the pregnant man.

"I'll see you around, captain." Yumichika bowed and headed off. Byakuya sat there, admiring the scenery and getting lost in his own thoughts.
