"Now you start talking." Renji said to Ikakku as their lovers walked away.

"Talk about what?" The bald shinigami asked.

"Why did you tell Yumi to shut it? What are you two hiding?" Renji asked sternly. The redhead grabbed Ikakku by the collar and pulled him to where they were inches apart. "What did you do?"

"Nothing man, now let go of me!" Ikakku said, slapping Renjis hand away.

"Then why can't Yumichika talk about it?" Renji asked still fuming.

"Don't worry about it, princey." Renji let go, looking at Ikakku like he had lost his mind.

"What did you just call me?" Ikakku just grinned and didn't say anything. Next thing Ikakku knew he was flying through the air, crashing into the 6th division wall.

"What the hell, Renji?" Ikakku yelled. While the bald shinigami laid there upside down, he saw Renji walking up to him.

"Call me that again and you're gonna get a lot worse." The smaller man jumped up and punched Renji in the face, sending him to the ground.

"Well maybe you shouldn't be with the princess and I wouldn't call you that." He said while crossing his arms. "You know, I don't even know why you bother with that uptight ass anyway. If he loves you so much, then why should it matter if you slept with a woman to save his life." Renjis eyes went wide. And the redhead couldn't speak. He just sat there, staring at the man that just punched him. "Yeah I know about it. And if you are so worried about why I told Yumichika to shut it was because he was going to tell you and the princess about it. That he was going to tell that pompous ass that you should stop fighting. I told him not to pry and leave you two alone, but he wouldn't llisten, saying that's what friends are for." Renji jumped up and slammed Ikakku against the wall where the man had just been threw into.

"Why? Because you don't like Byakuya? Well you are really being a damn friend, by not supporting us and insulting me and him. You need to grow up Ikakku and get over it. You're about to be a dad." Renji exclaimed to the smaller man.

"Hell no I don't like him and I don't know why you do. Hes arrogant and rude and he don't care anything about anybody but himself. Just because he puts on an act, wanting us to think that he actually cares does not make him better. He let you take the damn fall for him and let you protect him, but then when you did what you had to he pushes you away, because he cant take it and then watches you get punished for it. If it were Yumi, I would be right there with him, taking the punishment with him. I love Yumi and I would not want him to get hurt in any way." Renjis face went calm, as he let go of his friend.

"Ikakku!" Yumi yelled, running to the two of them. He hugged his lover and looked around, still trying to figure out what happened. "What happened? Did you two get in a fight again?"

"Yeah, babe, but its okay. We didn't hurt each other as bad as you think." Ikakku explained, while letting go of Yumichika. Renji felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked at it then at the owner of the hand. The dark-haired shinigami just gave him a small smile. Yumichika felt strong arms go around him.

"Renji? Is everything okay?" He asked, while still being locked in a hug.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm sorry for all of the stress I put you and Ikakku through." Yumi was shocked at what Renji said. He pulled away and looked up at the taller man.

"What are you talking about?" The dark-haired man looked at his lover, anger written all over his face. "What did you say to him, Ikakku?"

"I just told him the truth." He looked back up at Renji, who now had tears running down his face.

"Renji, don't listen to Ikkaku. Whatever he said is not true. You are not a burden and you will always be welcome to share with us whatever it is that's troubling you. Even if its yours and the captains problems. We are your friends, Renji."

"Thanks, Yumi. But I think I need to talk to Byakuya." Renji was gone, before Yumi could say another word. Yumi turned toward Ikakku, grabbed his wrist, and drug him back to their barracks.

"You mister are in so much trouble." He said, still dragging his lover. Ikakku managed to pull his wrist away and stood there.

"What the hell did I do?" Ikakku asked.

"You hurt our friend. I don't know what you said, but it doesn't matter."

"I was just telling him how I felt about him and princess Kuchiki." The bigger shinigami said. He felt a sting go across his face. He was so confused, he put his hand at where it stung on his cheeks. He just stared wide eyed at his lover.

"Ikakku, I swear sometimes you can be such an insensitive ddumbass" Ikakku knew Yumi was mad as hell at him when he called him by his name. "Don't you think Renji and Byakuya have had enough problems without you insulting them like that. What if they stared calling you something insulting. You wouldn't like it. Renji is trying to be happy with Byakuya and you are making it hard for them. What if you ruined what little relationship they could save?"

"Good I don't like them being together anyway. Renji is too good for that selfish asshole." Ikakku said back.

"See that is what Im talking about Ikkaku. Renji and Byakuya love each other. Why cant you just be happy for them and try to help them. You are the one that is selfish. Byakuya was so nice and happy for us and was trying to make friends with me while we were talking. He said he wanted to try and make friends with Renjis friends so Renji could be happier by having us around." Yumi said, hopefully getting through to Ikakku finally.

"Well it seems you are pretty chummy with the princess, since you keep saying his name instead of captain." Yumis eyes went wide and just realized it himself, covering his mouth.

"I didn't realize I was, but either way be nicer toward them and stop calling him princess or else you can sleep somewhere else tonight." Yumi warned as he turned on his heel and walked away.

"Fine, you win." He said as he ran up to his lover, throwing his arms around his stomach. "That's not fair. You know I cant sleep if you aint there with me, babe." He said while placing a light kiss on Yumis neck.

"Well its your fault for making me mad." He explained.

Renji finally reached where Byakuya was sitting. Just like before he had found him sleeping under the beautiful Sakura tree. Instead of taking him back he sat beside him and pulling him into his lap, careful as to not wake him up. He pulled a strand of hair from his lovers face and realized the smaller man had been crying. "What have I done to us? I know I messed up, but I wish you knew why I did it and would understand. I was trying to figure out a way out of that whole mess. Get me back up to full strength. I know what I did was horrible and the timing of it couldn't have been more wrong, but I love you Byakuya more than life itself and no matter what happens I will always be right here." He finally explained.

The dark-haired shinigami just sat there listening to every word. He had woken up once Renji put him in his lap, but didn't say anything because he just wanted Renji to hold him. The smaller man brought his arm up and grabbed a handful of his lovers haori. "I know Renji." He said, while holding onto the bigger man.

"Byakuya?" Renji asked, confused. The captain turned and sat up, putting his legs on both sides of his lover, wrapping his arms around his neck.

"I know why you did it and though the timing wasn't great you were just trying to protect yourself and the soul society. You are a great man and an amazing soul reaper. I'm sorry that I only thought about myself and my own feelings when you told me. I'm just not use to feeling this way a lot. And I've kept my emotions bottled in for so long that when my pregnancy started showing them, they just start coming all at once." He tried explaining.

"I'm sure you have just been overwhelmed, hun. It'll be okay, like I said I'm not going anywhere." Byakuya pulled his lover in, planting a sweet kiss on his lips. Renji wrapped his arms around the smaller frame of his lover, so there was no gap between them. Byakuya pulled away and looked at Renji in his brown eyes. He stood up and held his hand out.

"Lets go home, Renji." Renji grabbed his beautiful captain's hand, smiling from ear to ear. They walked back home hand in hand. The sun had already started setting when they left the clearing, so by the time they got back it was very late. The two men didn't care much though, they were just happy about being by each other. Renji walked in the room first and took off his tops until he was wearing only his pants and pulled down on his ponytail because he knew that his lover liked it down. As Byakuya watched from the door frame at what Renji was doing he smirked to himself.

The red-haired man knew he liked those fiery locks to cascade down his back. It made his sexy tattoos stand out, as if it was a red backdrop to a glorious masculine sculpture he couldn't keep his eyes off of. Byakuya knew what everyone in the Sereitei thought, even his lovers' best friends. He was sure even his new friend Yumichika thought it. Renji was the Alpha male in their relationship, but what they saw was just the outside. They go by their looks alone and not their personalities. When it boiled down to it Byakuya thought they both shared both masculine and feminine qualities. "Watcha thinkin bout?" Byakuya mentally shook his head and looked up at the younger man.

"I'm sorry, what was you saying?" Byakuya asked.

"I said watcha thinkin bout." Renji repeated. And the way he spoke, To most nobles it would make them mad for even attempting to use that sort of pronunciation in their presents. They would say it's not how a noble class should speak, but when it came from Renji's mouth, Byakuya thought it was sexy as hell.

"Us." Is all Byakuya said, which earned him a toothy smile from his beloved lieutenant. Renji brought his hand up, using his forefinger and thumb to hold up Byakuya's face and planted a kiss on his lips. Byakuya felt Renji pulling away, but he didn't want it to end so the dark-haired man threw his arms around the taller man's neck, pulling him closer. Renji smirked in the kiss and pulled Byakuya in the room and pushing him against the wall. Without breaking the kiss, Renji grabbed his beloved mans ass and hoisted him up pinning his body against his lovers. Byakuya gladly wrapped his legs around Renji's waist. Byakuya couldn't stand being away from this body anymore. He wanted Renji and he knew the muscular man wanted him as well.

Before Byakuya could think of anything else, he felt his tops being ripped off. He now knew Renji was done waiting too. The captain had already gotten on to the captain for ripping his clothes off before, but when Renji wanted him that bad, all sense for him goes out the door. Renji grabbed a handful of hair from the back of Byakuyas hair and pulling his head back, giving Renji access to his neck. The redhead took advantage of this and started kissing and nipping the every piece of skin he could find. Byakuya couldn't help the bulge coming from either of them and he didn't want to. The dark-haired man couldn't help but to dig his nails in to his lovers back when he hit the right spot and moaning his name.

Once Renji heard that sweet sound from his lover and those delicate hand scratching at his back the only thing, he wanted to do was make him do it more. Renji started grinding against Byakuya, their sweet spots rubbing against each other, making Byakuyas breath hitch and his hips bucked. The redhead had also started sucking on the spot he had found on Byakuyas neck. The older man felt like he might pass out from so much pleasure at once. He knew Renji was good at this, he always had been, but never once has he felt the need to cum so fast before. Or maybe it was from not being intimate in a while. Before Byakuya could feel his release, his lover had stopped and looked at him, his eyes filled with love and lust.

"I can't let you cum yet, babe." Renji could hear a groan come from the smaller man's throat. Renji just grinned and chuckled. He planted a kiss on his lovers' lips and carried him over to the futon, lying him down gently. The redhead climbed on top of him, cascaded red curtains by his face. He leaned down and nibbled on his lover's earlobe, making the dark-haired man sigh deeply and bringing him closer. "I love you, Byakuya." Renji whispered, softly.

Byakuya hadn't heard those words like that in a while. They always sent shivers down the captains' spine. So much love he hears coming from those words, he knows his beloved does mean. And the way he says it makes him feel safe and right where he is supposed to be. He doesn't want some woman his grandfather is trying to pawn off on him, he has always wanted and will always want the man that is right in front of him. He wanted him and only him and nothing will stop him from keeping what is his.

Renji just watched as Byakuyas mind was working, he knew the older man was thinking about something and he thought it was cute when it happened. He could see the wheels in his head turning. He didn't know what he was thinking about, but he didn't really care. Before Renji could contemplate what happened, he had been switched and now Byakuya was sitting on top of him. He leaned down and planted a long and loving kiss on the redheads' lips. "I love you too, Renji." He said as he pulled away. Byakuya rubbed his hands down Renjis torso and back up. The dark-haired man planted small kisses down Renjis chest and kept going, until he reached the helm of his redheads' pants.

The older man looked up and saw his lieutenant biting his lip anxiously waiting. He slowly pulled his pants off, letting the now rock-hard appendage free. He pulled them all the way off and made no hesitation to pleasure the man he loved. He missed the feeling of his lover under his fingers and didn't want to stop him from making those wonderful noises coming from his throat. He found a steady pace he was comfortable with and stuck to it.

Renji grabbed a handful of his lover's hair and gently moved his hips with his beloved captain's pace, not wanting to choke him. The redhead felt his release cumming, but tried to keep control as to not hurt his love. Right before he was about to climax, his lover stopped suddenly. He looked down and saw Byakuya smirking, knowing it was payback for what he did a few minutes ago. The dark-haired man took off his own pants and climbed up on top of Renji, but the redhead flipped him over quickly and kissed him lovingly. Byakuya wrapped his arms around his lover's neck and looked up at him. "Love?" He asked him.

Renji looked at his lover curiously. "Yes, babe?" But the dark-haired man just kept looking at him, his eyes filled with love and searching for something in his own. The younger man smiled and couldn't help but kiss him passionately. Even though he didn't want to stop, Byakuya pushed on his chest gently. He obliged and looked at his lover questioningly. "Babe, what's wrong?" He asked, worried. Byakuya put a hand on his lover's cheek, rubbing his thumb across it.

"Nothing, love. I need to ask you something." Renji sat up and his lover followed.

"What is it? Did I do something wrong? Have you not forgiven me yet? Did I hurt you?" Renji kept going on and on until Byakuya finally put his hand up, making his lover stop immediately. "Sorry." The redhead knew it irritated his lover when he asked questions like that.

"Renji, it's nothing like that. I do forgive you and you haven't done anything wrong." The captain explained.

"Then what do you…" Byakuya cut his lover off with a kiss and pushed him back on the futon. He held himself up, hovering over his redhead. "Byakuya?"

The dark-haired captain just looked at him lovingly. "Marry me, Renji?" Renji's eyes went wide and he smiled from ear to ear.

"Hell yes!" Renji answered loudly, while throwing his arms around his lover and squeezing him. Byakuya forgot how strong Renji was and tried pulling away.

"Renji…can't…breathe." Renji let go immediately and the dark-haired man took a deep breath.

"I'm so sorry, are you okay?" Byakuya just nodded and laid his head on Renjis chest, tracing his tattoos with his fingers. He missed the feeling of his lieutenant in his arms like this. A thought passed Renji's mind and he jumped up, knocking Byakuya off to the side. He started rummaging through his clothes, looking for something. "Where the hell I sit?" He asked himself.

Byakuya smiled to himself, knowing what his love was looking for. "Check the inside of my top." He told him. Renji looked at his captain confused, but did as he was told. He pulled out the little box and opened it to check if it was there. He plopped down beside the dark-haired man and opened It back up. Byakuya held out his left hand, palm down. Renji saw what he was doing and gladly pulled out the ring and gently put it on Byakuyas ring finger. The redhead took his lovers hand and kissed it softly.

Renji couldn't control himself anymore and pushed Byakuya down on the futon and didn't hesitate to take his now fiancée. They finally stopped thinking and let their bodies do the talking that night.
