Tonk's POV

We shot out of the vision like a rocket, making me heave back in my chair.

"What the bloody fuck was that?!" I yelled angrily, glaring over at Sabine.

She looked just as surprised as I did, still frozen in shock as the swirling grey in her eyes slowly faded back to their normal brown color.

"I-I don't- I apologize..." she stammered, still getting her bearings. Bill stood and place a hand on her shoulder.

"Your a seer?" Bill asked (unhelpfully, mind you. Like what just happened left any doubt), looking slack faced.

Sabine's eyes sharped, her face sobering. She looked down at both kids as they stared back up at her in horror, Harry more then Athena.

Apparently, she'd seen her sister do this before.

Harry on the other hand looked terrified, unable to look away from her swirling hooded eyes.

Poor kid, she must look like the bloody boogyman.

Sabine looked taken aback, shaking her head to clear the rest of the grey. She looked sad, like this was a common reaction to her gift.

"Yes, I'm I seer. Though I don't do prophecies." She replied, glancing away from a very shaken Harry.

"So that really happened, Sirius, that night, that's how it happened?" I asked, running a hand through my color-changing hair in shock.

"So you believe me now!" She replied bitingly, shooting a glare my way.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh shut it Sabine, how could I have known you were telling the truth? Said so yourself, it's pretty fucking unbelievable!"

She scoffed and began to argue before bill cut in."Oi! Enough you two, we've got enough on our plates without the fighting."

"But-"

"Pack it in."

I shot her a smug grin as she faltered a bit, Sabine glaring back.

"So it's true then, Bine? He's innocent?" Bill continued, shooting me an knock-it-off sort of look before turning back to her.

Sabine nodded, looking back at the potter boy sadly. He'd gone to the very edge of the bed, as far as possible from Sabine. Athena huddled next to him, there heads bent together, whispering.

Even if I didn't like her, I felt a little bad.

"Right, well, that still doesn't explain why your here." I scoffed, eyes narrowing again.

Okay, the vision was pretty convincing, but.. there was just something about her. Why had she come to Bill?

I mean, she had barely known him for a few weeks, she didn't know me at all, so why was she spilling her guts?

It didn't sit well with me.

Sabine didn't flinch. "I don't need to explain anything to you. I came here because I have to keep Harry and Athena safe, keep myself safe. This was the first place I thought of. If it wasn't too obvious, I don't have many...friends."

Damn, that stung. I held her gaze. Stubborn pride and determination shone bright.

Finally, I turned away, swallowing my retort and eyeing bill.

He looked pensive, eyes flitting to each of us.

"How will you know when it's safe to come back?" He asked, still staring off in thought.

"Remus will send a patronus when it's safe, not before. Until then we'll find somewhere-"

"Your leaving?" Bill interrupted, jerking out of his thoughts.

The seer looked a little surprised. "I mean, ya? We've got to stay somewhere in the meantime."

I sighed, knowing him all to well.

"Well, you could always stay here."

Yep, he just couldn't fucking help himself. Was this like a Weasley thing or...

Sabine blinked, like the idea never accrued to her. "But-"

"No." My words surprised all of us.

To save some face, I continue. "As an auror-in-training, I cant, in conscience, let a would be accomplice loose on the street. That would be uh...unright."

Bill smiled and stood. "Plus, Harry will finally get to have a play date with Ron, Athena and Ginny too.-"

"Ron is here?!" Came the Boy-Who-Lived's squeaky voice chirped as he and Athena leapt to their feet.

Sabine softened a little bit, but still looked unsure.

"But your mom-"

"Pff, my mum loves having guests. Plus, she likes you, likes the kids too. She won't suspect a thing." Bill chimed in, placing a hand on here dainty shoulders.

"And-we can cast a glamour over Harry when people visit!" I added, catching bill's drift.

She looked quickly between us, then at the eager Little faces of the duo and sighed.

"Fine. But on one condition."

We nodded on either side of her.

"You both have to make an unbreakable vow to not turn Sirius and Remus, the kids, or myself in to the ministry or the aurors. Deal?"

We shared one more spilt second look of agreement before we answered.

"Deal."

Remus's POV

After five hours, the explosions stopped.

Se had some how migrated to the floor in the gloomy living room, Sirius long since asleep in my arms.

How he had been able to drift off was beyond me, he slept lightly on a good night. But still, I couldn't complain.

It had been years since Sirius had slept on me, since even before the break up.

That night still stung like a fresh wound in my mind.

"How could you."

My voice made Sirius look up from his tool bag, eyes dark and agitated as he fiddled with a socket wrench.

"How could you think it's me!?" The words had felt like tree bark in my mouth, rough and bitter, like they shouldn't be there.

Sirius stiffened and turned away, but he didn't deny.

"After everything we've been through! All those years-all our lives! How can you possibly-"

"Remus it's not-"

"Not what?! Not like that! Not you think I'm the mole! That I would betray my best friends, my family, to that evil fucking psycho?!"

My accusations bounced off the walls, echoing in our sparsely decorated flat. We hadn't had time to furnish it, not with the war.

He still hadn't denied it, hadn't said a word, which had angered me more. Mr. Chatterbox had nothing to say.

I ran my fingers through my hair, pulling at it. It was an ugly habit I'd acquired some time I 5th year, the only reason I hadn't gone bald by now was Sirius's general hands pulling my locks out of their death grip.

Today however, he stayed right where he was.

"You've been...away so much, off with the packs-" he offered feebly, still not looking at me.

I saw red

Before my brain could catch up with my actions, I was upon him, hands grabbing him by the collet and shoving him up against the wall.

"I was on a mission FOR DUMBLEDORE! I wouldn't be there for any other reason!" I yelled, jerking him a bit with each word.

He'd gone pale, slammed up agents the wall and eyes wide. Then they hardened.

"Exactly! You've been-OFF! Barely answering our letters, never coming 'round James's anymore! Hell, your barley around here anymore!" He snapped back, pushing me off.

His eyes were impossibly dark now, signaling a coming storm.

I stood in shook as it hit me.

"So that's it? You don't trust me because I'm I werewolf? After everything we-"

"That is not it and you know it! How dare you twist my words!"

"HOW DARE I?! Your accusing me off betraying YOU! Of betraying US!" I shouted, my voice finally cracking as my eyes welled up in furious tears.

"You choose them over us!" He yelled back, his temper raising as well.

The words shook me down to my core.

"Get out of my house." I said, so coldly it made Sirius stop dead.

"Excuse me?"

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I roared, towering over him, my whole figure shaking.

His eyes went stone cold as he silently grabbed his bag and coat. Not even trying to hide the tears streaming down his face as he flung the door open and stormed into the night.

Just like that, he was gone.

I let the first real tear slide down my cheek as I fell to my knees in the now quiet house, our argument still ringing in my ears.

He was gone.

I'd lost him, for the fist time since the prank. And with that crushing realization, everything came tumbling down.

I felt tears prick my eyes again at the memory, eyes trailing back down to Padfoot.

He looked happy in sleep, less worried and gaunt. More like a 26 year old should.

I silently made my own vow that night, sitting on the dusty wood floor of the despicable house my love hated so much.

"I will never loose you Sirius, my lover, my Padfoot, my seren. Never again. I will die before you go back to Azkaban and willfully sell my soul before I let anything happen to Harry. History shall never repeat itself."

And with that, I pressed a soft kiss to Sirius's forehead before whispering agents his hairline.

"dwi'n dy garu di fy seren"

Before falling into my own peaceful sleep.

Hey, how's everyone doing? Sorry I haven't posted, I'm kind of running out of excuses now.

I decided to channel welsh Remus in these new chapters,(I stand this to my death), maybe some French Sirius too?

What y'all think?

Anyways, until next time!
