Chapter 11 the forest of death

After the day with Naruko, Sasuke was exhausted, he had gone back to his apartment. He'd taken his book and was in bed and reading his book, he thought about what tomorrow held, 'hopefully we'll also pass this test' Sasuke thought as closed his book, hopefully he'll get a goodnights rest. But the nightmare's they'll come no matter what.
The next day…
Sasuke was up by 5:49am, he was a early bird, but the nightmare's didn't help his situation. The pain never left him, when itachi put him in that genjutsu, the nightmare embedded themselves into his mind. Every night starting from after the massacre he would have nightmares, non-stop.
He made himself some breakfast and coffee. He sat down and ate in silence, as his thoughts drifted back to the massacre, he closed his eyes and took a beep breath, trying to calm himself but the memories come rolling back, the body's on the street men, women, and children all slaughtered without mercy, his parents body's at itachi feet, those eyes, those empty eyes were disturbing. Sasuke used his anger and hatred to get stronger, strong enough to kill itachi.
He sighed as he got up, he made his bed, and did the dishes, he had plenty of time so he decided to train, he trained till 7 he started to walk to the training ground admiring the clear sky, but amongst all the normal ness something felt off, he couldn't put his finger on it but he knew something wasn't right, he brushed it off thinking Naruko was the reason, oh how wrong he was…
At training ground 44…
Sasuke was one of the first ones there, he just sighed and waited for his team to arrive. A little bit later, Sakura had made her way to the training, "Sasuke-kun!" She yelled as she waved, Sasuke just grunted as he waved back, 'way does she have to so annoying' he thought.
Awhile later…
Almost all the genin had arrived, all but one blonde headed girl, "where the hell is that Naruko?! She's the only one not here!" Sakura yelled, all eyes were on them because they're team was the only team missing a member, 'don't tell me she forgot to wake up early' Sasuke thought as he sighed, Naruko finally arrived "where have you been, you Baka?!" Sakura yelled, as Naruko sheepishly rubbed the back of her head, "sorry, I woke up late" Naruko said, "is that the best excuse you have Naruko-Chan?" Sasuke asked as his eye twitched, "well yeah, what else do you want me to say?" Naruko said matter-of-factly, Sasuke and Sakura face palmed. "Alright get ready the exams are gonna start" Sasuke said as kissed Naruko on the cheek.
As they got ready Sakura noticed a massive snake eat a bird, "w-what was that?" Sakura asked no one in particular, "I think it was a sneak, A really big sneak" Naruko said as she looked into the forest, "there's something creepy about that forest" Sakura said as she shivered, anko just chuckled "you know this forest is called *the forest of death, and you'll soon find out why" anko said as she grinned, "the forest of death you'll soon find out why. That kind of threat isn't working on me! I'm not scared! Tebayo! " Naruko mocked, as anko smiled a little to happily "oh really?" Anko said as she threw a kunai passed Naruko's face, cutting her cheek, "A kid like you dies at the very beginning. Dappled with blood just the way I like it." Anko said as she appeared behind her, putting a hand on her cut cheek as she licked her blood. Then she suddenly took another kunai and looked behind her "I'm just returning you're kunai" a girl said the kunai wrapped in her tongue, "thank you for taking the trouble. But don't stand behind me, all blood thirsty. If you don't want a quick death." Anko said as she took the kunai, "well, I act up at the sight of blood. A sudden urge takes over me." The girl said as she walked away, 'w-what is it with that proctor? She's completely psycho!' Sakura thought as she looked at Anko.
Sasuke dragged Naruko back, "why do you have to get yourself into those situations, Naruko-Chan?" Sasuke asked as looked at Naruko rubbing her cheek, "I don't try to! Dattebayo!" Naruko said, as Sasuke sighed. "A real bunch of hot headed genin this year, huh" Anko said as she looked at the kusa-kunoichi. "Well, before we start the second part of the exam, I have to pass this out to all of you" Anko said as she pulled out a bunch of forms, "it's a liability form, before you take part in the test you have to sign this." Anko explained, "but why?" Sakura asked, "this form reads; konoha is not liable in case of your death." Anko said as some of the genin paled, "in case of death?! We're not gonna die here, right? Sasuke-kun" Naruko asked Sasuke, "well, not if I have something to say about it" Sasuke said as he patted Naruko on the back. "I'm going to start explaining the second exam, so you better listen up!" Anko said as she passed the forms "the limits of your survival will be challenged. First, I'll give you a step-by-step instruction on the layout of this forest. Training ground 44 is surrounded by 44 locked entrance gates, there are rivers and a tower in the middle. It's about 10 kilometres from the towers to the gate. In this area, you'll go through a certain survival program. The contents of which are: an anything goes battle for those scrolls!" Anko said as she pulled out two scrolls, one white, and the other black.
"Scrolls?" Sakura questioned, "yes, scrolls. You will fight for these two scrolls, the white one labelled heaven and the black one labelled earth." Anko explained as she held up the two scrolls, "24 teams got through the firs exam. 13 teams will get the heaven scroll, while the other half will get the Earth scroll. I'll hand over one scroll to each team." Anko said as she looked at all of the genin, "and what are the conditions of passing?" Sasuke asked asked as he looked at the two scrolls. "You will have to get both the heaven and earth scrolls, then bring them to the Central tower" Anko said, "so, half of the teams will fail for sure." Sakura said as Naruko gulped, "except it has to be on time. So more then half can fail, you'll have 5 days or 120hours to get these scrolls, and bring them to the tower" Anko finished her explanation, "what do we do about food?!" Choji asked thinking that they'll starve to death, "you'll fend for yourself, it's a treasure trove in the wildlife. There's more than enough for food." Anko said as she looked at the fat boy. "The problem is it's teeming with fierce man-eating animals, poisonous bugs, weed, and much more." Kabuto said as choji paled, "idiot, thwt's why is called survival!" Ino said as she hit choji over the head, "it's impossible that 13 teams will pass, so we have to stay Sharp, Lee" neji said as he looked at lee "yosh, your right, we have to stay alert, if we wish to pass." Lee said.
"On top of that, you're surrounded by nothing but enemies, even falling asleep will be a problem. So Naruko-Chan, Sakura I'm going to you this now, keep your eyes and ears peeled. you never know when we'll get attacked." Sasuke said as he looked at the fenced in forest, "and, besides those injured during attempts to get scrolls, there will definitely be people who can't endure the rigoros of the exam." Anko said, "um…so you can quit in the middle of it?" Shikamaru asked, he hoped that there was an option to quit. "According to the rules, you cannot quit in the middle of it! I want you to send 5 days in the forest." Anko said as she looked at the lazy nara "uh… just as I thought. This is gonna be troublesome" shikamaru said as he sighed in dismay, "moving on, conditions for disqualification. Number 1, if all three members of the team can't make it to the tower with the heaven and earth scrolls on time. Number 2, if a team loses a member or if a member becomes incapacitated. There's that, and this is a supplement. Absolutely do not open the scrolls until you have reached the tower!" Anko said, "what happens if we look halfway through?" Naruko asked, "when you look, you'll find out!" Anko said, almost daring her to see. "There are times when a chunin must deal with top secret intel. This is to test your reliability. That's all, I'll exchange your three consent forms for the scrolls in that hut." Anko said as she pointed at a small hut.
After team 7 and the other genin had gone to the hut, they were assigned scrolls, 'I see, so you know which scroll was given to each team and you won't know which of them is carrying the scroll. If what Ibiki said was right, there will be life or death struggles for information in this test.' Sasuke thought as he leaned against a large rock, "what are you thinking about, Sasuke-kun?" Naruko asked as she leaned next to Sasuke, "this test isn't going to be easy, not at all" Sasuke said as he looked around at all the genin, "you worry too much it's not gonna be easy, but we'll manage" Naruko said as she kissed Sasuke on the cheek,all Sasuke could do was wait and see. Sakura was walking around waiting for the test to begin when she bumped into team 10, "oh, look who it is, forehead , I thought you went home long ago, I never imagined you were still here." Ino mocked Sakura, "look who's here,Inopig. Starting now, it's five days of the survival test hope you get eaten by some animal." Sakura said as Ino glared at her, as she glared back, "shikamaru, why are those two on such bad terms?" Choji asked as he looked at the two girls, "Do you think I care enough to know?" Shikamaru rebuffed.
"It's time for you to take your scrolls! Get in line and take your scrolls!" Anko boomed, as the genin started getting in line, "finally! I thought we would sit here all day!" Naruko said as she and Sasuke walked over to Sakura, "Sakura let's go" Sasuke said as Sakura followed leaving team 10 behind. A little while later, "teams with there scrolls get to your designated gates! We'll open the gate's in 30 minutes!" Anko said as all teams moved to their gates. Naruko was bubbling with excitement, "calm down the test hasn't even started yet" Sasuke said as he put his hand on Naruko's shoulder. Naruko was not the only one who was impatiently waiting, 'mother, we'll soon prove our existence' garaa thought as his two teammates shook in fear of him. "Guy sensei, I'll do my best! I'll definitely succeed! I'll show them all the power of youth!" Lee yelled to the sky, "Lee, can you stop yelling about the power of youth for 5 minutes?!" Tenten said as she hit Lee over the head. "We now start the second test of the chunin exams!" Anko boomed as the gates were opened, "all right! Let's go!" Naruko said as team 7 entered the forest.
Inside the forest of death…
All genin teams had ran in ready for a fight, but the only problem was… everyone was playing safe, no one wanted to get ambushed, well everyone except one red haired boy. Team 8 was in a clearing, "so it would be clever for us to make a trap near to the tower." Kiba said, as akamaru growled "what is it boy? Not wasting time, huh? We'll show them how much of a alpha male I am!" Kiba said as he looked around the forest, "kids? It's like begging to be found, their just standing in the open." A suna genin said, "I think they sensed our presence, but they haven't grasped where we are." Another boy said, as the first boy paled, "what happened? You ok?" The boy asked as the other point all around them, massive leeches, before they could move they were swarmed, "the flying leeches of konoha they can sense body temperature and perspiration, then in mass, swoop down on their prey. If they suck your blood for five minutes, you die" shino said as one by one all of the ame genin fell, "shino-kun was that necessary?" Hinata asked as she saw the genin in immense pain, then one of them trapped a wire, they were now trapped in a net with the leeches, they all screamed in pain.
With team 7…
"Wasn't that someone screaming?" Sakura said as she looked at her two teammates, "I-I'm getting kinda nervous." Sakura said as she rubbed her arm, "we'll get through this, dattebayo!" Naruko said confidently as she grinned at Sakura, Naruko's confidence made Sakura a little less nervous, but that nagging feeling was still there, "I have to pee, I'll be right back!" Naruko said as she left. A little bit later, "that was refreshing" Naruko said as she came out of the grass, Sasuke proceeded to punch Naruko on the face, knocking her back, "Sasuke-kun why did you do that?!" Sakura asked as she stared at Sasuke, "that's not Naruko-Chan" Sasuke said as he glared at Naruko "what do you mean?! I'm real!" Naruko said as she got up, Sasuke ran at Naruko as he tried kicking her, Naruko dodged "what's gotten into you?!" Naruko asked as she dodged another punch, "Sasuke-kun what do you mean?!" Sakura asked, she was confused out of her mind, "look closely!" Sasuke said as he furiously attacked Naruko, "What did you do with Naruko-Chan?!" Sasuke yelled as he attacked her with a kunai, "I have no idea what you're talking about!" Naruko yelled as she jumped back, "you don't have that warmth, and your supposed to have your shuriken holster on your right leg, she's right handed, and where's that cut mark on your face that you got?!" Sasuke yelled, he was livid at this imposter,
"Huh, you got me." The Naruko imposter said as it dispelled, turning into an ame genin, wearing a rebreather of some kind, "in that case… which one of you is carrying the scroll? If you listen to me obediently I'll let you go" the ame genin offered, "like hell we'd tell you" Sasuke said as his grip on his kunai tightened, "then you leave me no other choice" he said as he ran at Sasuke, Sasuke blurred through hand signs.
"Katon:Housenka no jutsu! (Phoenix flower jutsu)" Sasuke said as he shot multiple smaller fireballs at the rapidly approaching nin, the ame boy dodged as he tried stabbing Sasuke with a kunai, Sasuke blocked with his kunai as he kicked the boy on the chest knocking him back, Sasuke noticed Naruko tied up, "Sakura go help Naruko-Chan!" Sasuke ordered as he continued his fight. Sakura ran over to cut Naruko out, "thanks Sakura" Naruko said as Sakura cut her free. Sasuke got punched hard across the face, "that makes us even, brat" the boy said as kicked Sasuke, "I'll kill you if you move. Calmly hand over the scroll, and I'll let you and your teammates go" he said as he pointed a kunai at Sasuke's neck. he had to dodge as two kunai were thrown at him by Naruko and Sakura "what did I miss?" Naruko asked as she and Sakura ran up to Sasuke, "you're always late Naruko-Chan" Sasuke said as he got up, "it's not my fault I got jumped, Tebayo!" Naruko rebuffed as she stumped her feet, "you brats are so annoying!" The ame boy said threw multiple shuriken at Sasuke. Sasuke activated his sharingan as he blocked the shuriken with his kunai, "alright no more fun and games!" Sasuke said lunged at the boy.
He dodged a couple of swings by Sasuke, but he was stabbed in the stomach, "well done Sasuke-kun!" Sakura cheered, "don't just stand there you two! Stay on Guard there's no team with one member!" Sasuke said as kept his Advance on the ame boy, 'why did I decide to come alone to conceal my presence, it didn't even work! The boy saw right through it!' The boy thought as he tried his best to block, and or dodge Sasuke's attacks, 'he's losing blood fast he'll have to give up soon' Sasuke thought as he pushed his advantage on his opponent, 'I'm losing a lot of blood, and I'm hoping on some miracle to win. I need to run' he thought as he threw down several smoke bombs as Sasuke covered his eyes, by the time the smoke cleared he was gone, "damn it! He got away!" Sasuke yelled out of frustration, he walked back to his teammates as Naruko hugged him, "are you alright, Sasuke-kun?" Naruko as she saw the bruises on Sasuke, "I should be asking you that, but yeah I'm fine" Sasuke said as he stocked her hair.
A little bit later, "In the case that we become separated, don't trust them if they look like your teammates." Sasuke said as he sat against a tree, "just like now there's a possibility that an enemy henged into one of us." Sasuke said as he rubbed his face, because of the kick from earlier, "so, what do we do?" Sakura asked as she sat on a branch, "we'll decide on a password. Listen, if the password is incorrect, no matter what he looks like presume he is an enemy." Sasuke said as Naruko and Sakura nodded, "I'll only say it once, so listen closely." Sasuke said as they leaned in to listen "you ask ninja song (ninja chance), and the answer is: *The chance to sneak up when a large number of enemies are making a scene. The quiet place has no secret hideout. It's important for a shinobi to know the right time. The time when an enemy is tired and drops his guard.* that's it" Sasuke said as Naruko groaned "might as well attack me now, because there is no way I'll remember that,Tebayo!" Naruko exclaimed, as Sasuke sighed, "can't you just memorise it?" Sakura asked, "N-No I get it perfectly, but it would be better if I heard it again" Naruko rebuffed as Sakura facepalmed, "stupid Naruko-Baka" Sakura said, Naruko kissed Sasuke on the cheek, "there you go, that's your password" Naruko said as Sasuke blushed, Sasuke cleared his throat "I'll carry the scroll" Sasuke said as he got up.
Suddenly all of them were blown back by a strong wind, "you guys know the plan, I'll go alone…"the girl from kusa said, somebody tapped his back, he turned around to see Sakura, "Sasuke-kun I-", "what's the password!" Sasuke demanded as he took a kunai from his Holster, Sakura replied with the answer (nope, not writing that again) "good, you're the real Sakura" Sasuke said as he lowered his kunai, "hey, you guys, are you ok?" Naruko asked as she ran up, "what's the password?" Sasuke asked, he just thought she would kiss on the cheek, but she repeated the answer perfectly, Sasuke narrowed his eyes as he threw the kunai at Naruko, "what the hell are you doing?! I told you the password! Tebayo!", Naruko yelled as she dodged, "that's the problem, there is no way Naruko-Chan could remember that password that's why we decided on another way" Sasuke said as he glared, "ku, ku, ku that's good, but if you knew wouldn't get it, why didn't you make it any shorter?" She asked as she turned back, "because I knew you were under ground eavesdropping on our conversation. So I chose that password on purpose, and for some reason everyone goes after my naru-Chan" Sasuke said as he smirked, "oh, really. So you're not tired or letting your guard down. This will be more fun than I thought." She said as she licked her lips, 'this girls… too creepy. And where's Naruko?' Sakura thought as she toke out a kunai.
Meanwhile with blondie…
"What the hell?!" Naruko questioned as she got up "huh? Where is Sasuke-kun and Sakura?" She asked as she noticed a massive snake in front of her, "why me?! Why does the huge snake have to come after me, Tebayo!" Naruko exclaimed as the snake lunged at her, she had to dive out of the way or get crushed, as she did so the snake wrapped her with it's tail, and then swallowed her whole
With Sasuke and Sakura…
Orochim-I meant the kusa girl took out a earth scroll from behind her, "you want our earth scroll, don't you? Cause you have the heaven scroll." The mocked as she held the scroll to her mouth, she then proceeded to swallow said scroll (I hate this scene both in the manga and anime), as Sasuke and Sakura stared in shock and horror, 'what is wrong with this girl?! She just swallowed a scroll!' Sakura thought as she stared, "well, let's begin… the fight for the scrolls" the girl said as she licked her lips, Sasuke and Sakura both fell back in fear of the amount of the killer intent coming from the girl, 'w-what is this girl?! It's like looking at death!' Sasuke thought as he tried to get up, but he couldn't fell his legs, as he looked to his right he saw Sakura on her knees frozen in fear, 'this is not good, she's completely frozen in fear, we have no choice but to run. Unless we do, the only thing waiting for us is…death' Sasuke thought as he looked at the *thing* in front of them, meanwhile Naruko was still trying to get out of the snake's stomach, "let me out!" She yelled as she tried stabbing the snakes stomach, but was of no use the stomach walls were to thick "why me?! And this stupid kunai can't even cut through this thing, tebayo!" Naruko exclaimed as she was swallowed deeper.
'She's gonna kill us! Move, Sasuke! Move!' Sasuke thought as he got enough courage to get up, he was still shaking with fear but he managed to pick up his kunai, "what do you intend to do with that? Kill me?" She mocked as Sasuke froze up, 'I can't move!' Sasuke thought as he tried to get in a defensive position, "don't worry, I'll end this in a second. You won't even have time to feel the pain" she said as she started walking atop them with two kunai in hand, "I thought this would have been more fun, but to bad" she said as she threw the kunai, 'I'll not die here! What about my revenge?! What about naru-Chan?! I will not die here! Move you idiot! Move!' Sasuke thought as he stabbed himself in the leg his sharingan spinning to life, and snapping himself out of the trance, he grabbed Sakura and ran, "Maybe this'll be more fun then I thought" she thought as Sasuke ran. Sasuke and Sakura sat on a tree as Sasuke tenant to his wound, meanwhile,
"Kage bunshin no jutsu! (Shadow clone)" Naruko said as she started making clones inside the snake, making the snake explode inside out, "I… am a shinobi who will become hokage. I'm not dying to some snake, dattebayo" Naruko said as her clones started dispelling,
Back with Sasuke and Sakura…
"Sasuke-kun you're leg are you o-" Sakura was cut off when Sasuke put his hand over her month, "shut up, if we don't flee, we'll be caught here too, but how do we escape?" Sasuke whispered as he looked out into the forest, while he was doing that he didn't see a massive snake creep up behind them, "Sasuke-kun! Snake!" Sakura yelled as they jumped out of the way, the snake tried to bite down on Sasuke, "stay away from me!" Sasuke yelled as he threw multiple shuriken, hitting the in the eye and top of the mouth. The snake hissed in pain as it fell, Sasuke landed on a tree branch as he tried to catch his breath, Sasuke and Sakura stared at the dead snake when the skin on it's neck began to crack, out of the cracked skin came out the girl, "remember to keep your Guard up. A prey must always stay tense and always try to flee, or the Predator will catch up" (yes orochimaru, we all know your a child Predator. No need to call yourself out) she said as she began slithering towards Sasuke, elongating and bending her body like a snake, "w-what the hell?!" Sasuke yelled as she continued moving like a snake towards him.
She was cut off then 3 kunai hit the tree in front of her, "stay away from my boyfriend, you creep!" Naruko yelled as she stood on a tree branch overlooking the area, "I forgot the password, and I'm no were near you!" She said, as Sakura sighed, "finally your here!" Sakura said relieved, "I know your trying to save us, but you should run She's-she's on a different level!" Sasuke yelled back, he was relieved to see her but this was not the time to get all lovey-dovey, "seems like you dealt with my snake, Naruko-Chan" she said impressed, 'she's like a snake that's no way any normal person can do that' Naruko thought as stared at the odd woman, 'I don't think even the three of us can take her on, but what should I do?' Sasuke thought, "you've been bullying my friends for long enough, I'm going to wipe the floor with you, dattebayo!" Naruko yelled as started closing the distance, "wait!" Sasuke yelled as Naruko stopped, "what happened?! Why'd you tell me to stop?!" Naruko asked, both she and Sakura were confused, Sasuke reached into the pouch on his back, and pulled out the heaven scroll, "if it's the scroll you want, I'll give it to you. Just take this and leave" Sasuke offered as Naruko's jaw hit the ground, "Sasuke-kun! You can't just give up like that!" Naruko yelled as she stared at Sasuke in disbelief, "shut up! Naru-Chan, I'm not getting us killed here, just because of this stupid scroll!" Sasuke rebuffed as he sighed, he really didn't like to yell at her, but it was the only thing he could do.
"You're Sensible, the only thing the prey can hope for from the predator is presenting something else in hopes of being spared, isn't it?" She said as she smirked, "take it" Sasuke said as he threw the scroll to her, only for Naruko to catch it and land in front of him, "What the hell?!" Sasuke asked as he got punched across the face by said blonde, "what're you doing all of a sudden!?" Sasuke asked as he stared at a pissed off Naruko, "there is no way you're the real Sasuke-kun!" Naruko yelled as Sasuke was caught off guard, "w-what do you mean I'm not real?!" Sasuke asked, he had no idea what she was going on about, "there's no way Sasuke-kun would just give up! I don't know how strong she is, but how can you be sure she'll let us go if we give her the scroll, huh?" Naruko said as she glared daggers at Sasuke, "Naruko-Chan, you're correct why would I just take it and leave you, when I can kill you and take it. It'll be more fun!" She said as she pulled up her sleeve, reliving a tattoo of some sort on her arm, she ran a finger with her blood on it, Naruko ran at her with a kunai, "no Naruko-Chan don't!" Sasuke yelled as Naruko ignored him, "Kuchiyose no Jutsu! (Summoning)" the girl said as she blurred through hand signs, summoning a massive snake, Naruko had to get out of the way as the snake tried to crash her
Some where in konoha…
"These are kusa genin body's" izumo said as he covered his noise, "when do you think they were killed?" Kutetsu asked as he stood next to Izumo, "not that old, maybe a couple of days, we'd better tell Anko" izumo said as he got up. Anko was enjoying a ''couple'' of dango with tea as izumo and kotetsu appeared in front of her, "Anko, we have a problem" izumo said as he looked at a not concerned Anko, "huh, can't I eat in peace" Anko groaned as she jumped down from her tree, "so, what happened?" Anko asked, "corpses, three of them. Come and see for yourself" kotetsu said said as all three of them vanished, as they appeared where the body's were Anko saw the corpses, "they have no faces" Anko said as she grated her teeth, "yeah, they're smooth and flat, like they've melted away." Izumo said as he stared in disgust, "there's no doubt, that jutsu it's him, but why is he in the exams?' Anko thought, she had no idea why here old sensei would be here, "show me the ID's of these genin, now!" Anko demanded as she turned around, "here they are" kotetsu said as his sweat dropped, Anko took the ID's and looked at them, as she saw the photo of the girl her anger only increased, 'so that's the face he stole. So, back then, they were already…' Anko thought as her mind flashed back to when she meet the girl, the long tongue, the bloodiest, it all made sense now. "We're in big trouble, let hokage-sama know right away! Tell the anbu to send two or more squads to the forest of death! Starting now, I'm going after these guys!" Anko boomed as izumo and kotetsu nodded as disappeared, you did not want to piss off the crazy snake lady.
Back in the forest…
Naruko's attempt at dodging did not work as she was hit, throwing her upwards and hitting a branch, "Naruko-Chan!" Sasuke yelled as he saw her falling down into the snakes mouth, suddenly Naruko's whisker marks got thicker and her nails Grew, her eyes turning crimson red with slated pupils, she slammed her leg down on the snakes head, 'so, this is the kyubi Jinchūriki, huh? There no mistaking it" she thought as Naruko continued violently attacking the snake, 'Naruko, she's completely lost control, how is she this strong?!' Sakura thought as she stared, 'Naruko-Chan, what is that potent chakra?' Sasuke thought as he stared at Naruko, "alright that's enough" the girl said as she went through hand signs, shooting a fireball which exploded with it came in contact with Naruko, sending her flying back, "so who's next? Sasuke-kun…" she said as the snake began to move towards Sasuke, Sasuke was frozen in fear, the snake was stopped at the last moment by Naruko, as she stabbed two kunai on top of the snakes mouth, "stupid scaredy-cat" Naruko mocked as she had her back to the snake, Sasuke just stared dumbly at Naruko, "this stupid coward is absolutely not the Sasuke-kun I know!" Naruko said as she glared at Sasuke, he stood there in shock at how angry Naruko was at him, "Naru-Chan I-" Sasuke was cut off by Naruko "I don't want to hear a word from you, coward!" Naruko yelled as the girls tongue wrapped around her, "let me go you creepy snake!" Sakura yelled as she threw a kunai, pinning Naruko to a tree to make sure she doesn't fall, "Sasuke-kun what's wrong with you?!" Sakura yelled as she glared at Sasuke, "Naruko might not think things through before acting, but she's not a coward!" She yelled as Sasuke shook his head, "I'm no coward! And I'll prove it now!" Sasuke was able to dodge or block some attacks, but her speed and snake like movements were something else, so he got hit, well he got hit a lot while his attack's were perfectly parried or blocked, "Katon:Housenka no jutsu (Phoenix flower jutsu)" he said as he shot multiple fireballs as he followed up with "Katon: Ryuuka no jutsu (dragon flame jutsu)" he said as he shot a Stream of fire, Sasuke Panted, he was quite literally burning through, but he hoped this would be enough, then the ground under him broke as she tried to grab him, he jumped away she was mostly fine except some burn marks, much to His chagrin, "you're good I'll give you that, and you aim is true thanks to your sharingan" she said as Sasuke took up his defensive stance once again, she slammed both of her hands on the tree they were on breaking it in half, as they both fell a good 50 feet (15meter) Sasuke grabbed her and slammed her head first into the ground. Sasuke jumped back as he took deep breaths, "Sasuke-kun you did it!" Sakura said as she ran up, Sasuke was too tired to pay her any attention, "what's wrong? Hang on" Sakura said as she put a hand on his back, suddenly they were once again paralysed in fear, "w-what?!" Sasuke yelled as he tried to stay on his feet, "I didn't expect that you could use your sharingan this much at your age. You truly are an uchiha." The girl said but the voice was of a man, "w-who the hell are you!?" Sasuke asked as he tried to glare at the thing in front of him.
"My name is orochimaru if you think you want to meet me again, run to the top of this test. Defeat the three sound village ninja under my control." Orochimaru said as he burned the heaven scroll, "you're not making any sense! Why would we want to see your face ever again?!" Sakura yelled, she just wanted to get this test over with. She didn't care if they passed or failed. "That won't do." He said as he elongated his neck, and Bit Sasuke on the neck, as his neck return to normal, Sasuke clutched his one in pain as he fell to his knees, "what did you do!?" Sakura yelled as orochimaru chuckled, "I gave him a parting gift. Sasuke-kun will come looking for me, looking for power." orochimaru said as he sunk into the ground. Sasuke was yelling in pain as he fell unconscious.
Later…
Anko was running through the forest, she could feel orochimaru's chakra, 'he's close, really close' Anko thought as she increased her pace. As she landed on a tree she heard a voice she hadn't heard in a long time, "Anko-Chan, long time no see" orochimaru said as he appeared in front of Anko "you're an S-rank missing nin. You're wanted for crimes in all five elemental countries. That's why I'll kill you here even if I have to die with you. That is my duty as your former student" Anko said as she threw multiple sinbon at orochimaru. Orochimaru shot out his tongue at Anko blocking the sinbon, and forcing Anko to dodge, "your faster then when we last met" orochimaru said as his tongue wrapped around Anko leg, yanking her down onto the tree, "sen'ei jashu (hidden shadow snake hands" Anko said as snakes shot out of her sleeves, the snakes wrapped around orochimaru. Anko yanked her hand back as she swung orochimaru into the tree. She then stabbed her and orochimaru's hand together into the tree with a kunai, "I got you now orochimaru, I'm gonna borrow your left hand." Anko said as she made a hand sign with both of their hands, "that hands!" Orochimaru said as looked into anko's eyes, "that's right, you and I are going to die here." Anko said as she smirked, she had waited for this moment for a long, long time. As she was about to complete the jutsu, "so, you really want to commit to suicide?" Orochimaru said mocked as he appeared behind her.
Anko's mouth us wide open as she looked at orochimaru. She looked back the orochimaru she had stabbed dispelled, "as you are a Tokubetsu Jonin of konoha, you can't just use forbidden jutsu I taught you." Orochimaru continued to mock Anko as he walked towards her, anko took out the kunai from her hand as she threw it at orochimaru, but he caught it "I told you it wouldn't work" he said as he activated her curse mark. Anko clutched her neck, "why are you in the village?!" Anko demanded as she tried to glare at orochimaru "It's our reunion after so long, and you're awfully cold." Orochimaru said as he lifted her Chin, "d-don't tell me that you came here to kill hokage-same?" Anko asked as orochimaru chuckled, "no,no. I Don't have enough ninja for that yet. I've heard of the excellent ones of this village and thought I'd put dibs on it. I gave one the same curse mark as a gift." Orochimaru said as smirked, "you snake Paedophile, that kid will die!" Anko said as she glared at orochimaru, he frown at the insult, "I'm no Paedophile, I'm a man of science. Certainly the odds are 1 in 10 that he'll die, but he may survive just like you did." Orochimaru said as Anko chuckled, "you call yourself a man of *science, but you only put this demonic Hickey on children, even I got my one when I was 12" Anko mocked Orochimaru's attempt to defend himself, "mock me all you want, but the kid will Excel for one thing he inherited the sharingan. It's a vessel who can become my heir. If that kid lived, it will make things interesting. Be sure not to cancel this test, or else…" Orochimaru left the threat in the air as he sunk into the ground. The captain said as he jumped down, anko clutched her neck in pain, "what's wrong?" He asked as Anko pointed to her course mark "the course mark! Don't tell me Orochimaru was here" he asked as Anko nodded, "we'll have to take you to hokage-sama right away", "no take me to the tower" Anko protested, "what are you saying? The moment Orochimaru comes to the village, a strict alert is issued. It's more urgent then continuing the exam." He said as Anko sighed, "I know, I'll tell you the whole story later, so please call hokage-sama.

"We're secured food and water after spending half a day and now most teams have halted activity. As we planned this is the time we attack. We'll split up and go scouting. However, whether we find teams or not, we return here, got it?" Neji said as he looked at his two teammates "yeah", "yosh!" Tenten and lee said, "alright, scatter!" Sakura had found Shelter for the night. She had dragged Naruko and Sasuke to a hollow under a tree, "both of them are still out cooled" Sakura said as she sighed, she'd have to keep watch this night. "Found you, as Orochimaru-sama we'll need to wait until daybreak" dosu said as he and his team waited in the shadows, aspire Orochimaru's orders

Sakura Had woken up early, she sat up as she saw a squirrel, it said running at her, 'no! It'll set off the trap!' She thought as she threw a kunai in front of it, scaring it off. "Do you think she noticed the explosive tag we put on the squirrel?" Zaku asked as stared at Sakura, "no, that's not it. We'll need to get closer if we want to find out" dosu said as they started creeping closer

Lee was jumping from branch to branch at high speeds, much higher then any normal ninja, 'I'll show Sakura-Chan how great I am by winning the exams' Lee thought as his eyes lit up, he then noticed a squirrel with a burning explosive tag on it's back. He jumped down and grabbed the squirrel taking off the tag and crushed it, "who would do such a horrible thing?" Lee asked to no one in particular as he put the squirrel on his shoulder. "Don't worry my little friend, I'll protect you" Lee said as he continued.
Neji was walking through a clearing as he noticed team 10, "I know your there, there's no point hiding" Neji said as he looked at the Bush team was hiding in, "come on, we had scramble to hide." Ino whispered as shikamaru sighed, " troublesome, we've been caught" shikamaru said as he looked at his two teammates, "plan one, hide and let it pass, was a failure! So now we carry out the second one!" Ino said as choji groaned, "are you serious!?" Choji asked, he really didn't want to go through with that plan, "well, I guess it's all right but…" shikamaru said as they jumped out of their hiding place, "oh wow! To meet last year's rookie of the year, Hyuga neji, in a place like this. Can we have you autograph?" Ino asked, their whole plan was to flatter him into letting them go. 'Part two: head over heels attraction with my sex appeal!' Ino thought as she Untied her hair, "I've been wanting to see you for some time now, you know?" Ino said Provocatively as she winked at neji.

Wake the uchiha up. We want to fight him" dosu said as he and his team stood in front of Sakura, she grabbed a kunai as she readied herself, "what're you saying? What are you after? I know the one called Orochimaru is calling the shots from the shadows!" Sakura yelled as team dosu looked pretty surprised, "what's that strange mark on the back on Sasuke-kun neck? You did this to him! How can you ask him to fight!" Sakura said as zaku stepped forward, "I don't know about him. However, I can't stay quiet after hearing that. I'll kill this girl, and the uchiha" zaku said as dosu's arm blocked him, "wait, zaku" dosu said as zaku looked at him confused, "the dirt, it's the colour of dirt that's just been dug up, this grass, it doesn't grow in a place like this, does it?" Dosu questioned as Sakura glared at him, "you know, with a trap, there's no point unless you make it so it's not discovered." Dosu said as walked forward.
"So that kunai was so the squirrel wouldn't trigger the trap?" Zaku asked as dosu nodded, "we kill her now!" Dosu said as all tree of them jumped above the trap. Sakura smirked as she cut a piece of wire, swinging a log at them, dosu put his arm with the gauntlet on it and blew it apart, "you clearly have no talent. Someone like you needs to put in more effort!" Dosu said. As they were about to get to Sakura suddenly, "konohashippuden! (Leaf Hurricane bullet)" Lee said as he kicked dosu into kin and zaku knocking them back, as he landed in front of Sakura, "then you also should make an effort!" Lee said as he got ready to fight, "who the hell are you?!" Kin asked as she looked at the strange boy with a squirrel on his shoulder, "I'm the blue beast of konoha, rock Lee!" Lee said as kin's eye twitched, "why are you here?" Sakura asked, she was confused why Lee saved her, "I will always appear whenever you're in trouble!" Sasuke and Naruko are out cold, and Sakura's in trouble!" As all three of them headed over to where Sakura and Lee were.
With Lee…
"Guy sensei,I will use that jutsu without reserve. Because this is the time you said…" Lee said as he began to unwrap the bandages on his arm, Dosu ran at Lee again, "when protecting a precious person!" Lee yelled as he kicked Dosu into the air, Lee jumped behind him as his bandages began wrapping around Dosu. He grabbed Dosu "Omote renge! (Front lotus)" Lee said as they began falling to the ground, spinning at high speeds, "I'll have to break his fall, or he'll die!" Zaku said as he plunged both of his hands into the ground, as Lee slammed Dosu head first into the ground, 'that feeling in my arms' lee thought as he jumped away, "ha ha, got you Dosu" zaku said as Dosu got up, "how?! there's no way!" Lee exclaimed as he frowned, "that was a scary jutsu, but zaku sponged the ground to make my landing survivable. Now it's my turn" Dosu said as he ran at Lee, he Swung his gauntleted Arm at Lee. Lee jumped back but was still hit by some shockwave, making delirious, "your fast but our jutsu exceeds that and is the speed of sound!" Dosu said as Lee knelt down grabbing his head in one hand, "sound?!" Sakura questioned, "Do you know what sound is in the first place?" Dosu asked as Sakura nodded, " vibrations in the air" Sakura said as Dosu continued.
"Correct. In other words hearing sounds means, that the eardrum is catching vibrating air. And the eardrum breaks with sounds over 150 mhz. So by making it vibrate at a specific mhz I can make you completely lose balance" Dosu explained as zaku and kin began laughing "Now, let's continue!" Dosu said as he ran at Sakura, "konoha shippuden! (Leaf Hurricane bullet)" Lee said but due to the earlier Lotus his attack was much slower, Dosu dodged the kick and swung his gauntlet at Lee. Lee block the hit but it let out another High frequency shockwave right next to lee's ear, Lee fell to ground unconscious, "now for the finishing blow" Dosu said but he had to block multiple shuriken thrown by Sakura, "I won't let you do that!" Sakura said as she threw more shuriken, only for zaku to blow them away, 'air pressure! The shuriken got blasted back!' Sakura thought, kin suddenly grabbed Sakura by the hair from behind "your hair's shinier then mine. Instead of focusing on your hair, you should train. Why don't you kill that Uchiha right in front of mrs Beautiful, zaku?" Kin mocked as she pulled Sakura by the hair, "Ino, what should we do? Sakura's in trouble. You were close friends with her, no?" Shikamaru asked as Ino stayed silent, as memories of the past flooded her mind. "yeah! That sounds great!" Zaku agreed as he began walking, 'as Sasuke-kun said, I'm just deadweight! It's me who always get's protected by Sasuke-kun, Naruko, and even lee. But now I must protect the people precious to me' Sakura thought as she put out a kunai.
"That won't work" kin mocked but Sakura smirked as she cut her own hair, setting her free from kin's Grasp, "kin! Kill her!" Zaku said as kin threw multiple sinbon at Sakura, but she substituted herself, she appeared in front of Zaku as she threw kunai at him, "do you really think that'll work?" Zaku said as he blew the kunai at Sakura, but again she substituted herself on a tree branch, as she jumped at Zaku, he thought she'd do it again so he threw a kunai at her, but the substitution he was waiting for never happened. Sakura hit Zaku at full speed, both of them fell to the ground as Sakura stabbed Zaku in one arm and bit the other, "let go of my arm, you crazy bitch!" Zaku yelled as Sakura bit harder. "Ino, what are we going do?!" Shikamaru again asked as Ino gritted her teeth. Zaku finally managed to get Sakura off of him, "now, you really pissed me off!" Zaku said as he raised both of his hands, "Let's go!" Ino yelled as team 10 jumped in front of Sakura, everyone was caught off guard at the sudden appearance of team 10, "Ino?" Sakura asked surprised,

Sasuke yelled as he began to bubble with purple chakra

"Ino…why?" Sakura asked, "Sasuke-kun might be taken, but I won't let my friend die!" Ino said as team 10 stared down the oto-genin, "these konoha worms will be sorry they got in our way!" Dosu said as he glared at team 10, "what were you two thinking?! These guys are no good!" Choji said as Shikamaru held him in place, "it was her idea, what did you want us to do, choji? Sit and watch Ino fight alone?" Shikamaru asked, "sorry I got you two into this, but anyway we're a three-man team, after all." Ino said as she got ready to fight, "I don't want to die! Let me go!" Choji yelled only for Ino to hit him over the head, "stop being a coward, choji!" Ino said, "ha, in a rush to run, fatso?" Zaku mocked as choji stopped, "what did that guy just say? I didn't quite catch it." Choji asked in a calm low voice, 'that guys died' shikamaru thought as he took A few steps back, "I said, in a rush to run, fatso? Zaku yelled, Dosu tried to run over and help him, but he couldn't move , zaku had to jump out of the way of choji, "got you" Shikamaru said as his shadow locked Dosu in place, "now the girls up to you, Ino" Shikamaru said as Ino nodded, "Shintenshin no jutsu (mind body switch" Ino said as her body fell limp, and her mind took over kin's body, "kin? What happened!?" Dosu asked as kin stood there unmoving, "this ends now, if you make one move, this girl dies" Ino said in kin's body as she Lifted a kunai to her throat, "leave your scroll and walk away! Once you've gone far enough that I can't feel your chakras, I'll release the girl!" Ino said as Zaku and Dosu grinned, 'these guys… what are they grinning about?' Ino yelled as choji rolled in front of her blocking most of the high Pressure air, Ino was knocked into a tree, as choji got up dazed, "what kind of teammate attacks their own?" "How pathetic, you oto-genin bullying the rookies and putting on airs like a winner" Neji said as he and Tenten landed on a tree branch, "Lee's teammates" Sakura said as she looked at neji and Tenten, "Lee, why do you also get into trouble" Tenten said as she looked at a unconscious lee, "that kid with the Bob cut lying over there is our teammate, but you messed with him didn't you?" Neji asked as he activated his byakugan, "if you're gonna continue, I'll fight with full strength!" Sasuke was covered with the evil chakra of the curse mark, Sasuke got up with an animal like rage, "Sasuke-kun your awake!" Sakura said as she felt the evil, cold chakra Cover the clearing. Everyone looked at Sasuke half of his body was covered in some sort of Black marking, "Sakura… who did this to you?" Sasuke asked as a shiver went down Sakura's spine, 'the curse mark has activated' Dosu thought as his eye Widened, "Sasuke-kun your body" Sakura said as she looked at the markings, "don't worry, on the contrary, I feel power flowing through my body. Right now I feel good" Sasuke said as he clenched his fists, "that Orochimaru guy gave me this mark, I failed to protect people close to me because I had no power, but I must have more power even if it means giving up myself to the devil." Sasuke said as he looked at the unconscious Naruko. "So tell me, Sakura, who did this to you?" Sasuke demanded as zaku laughed, "me! I did it" Zaku said as Sasuke turned to him, his sharingan glaring at his soul, "Ino! Come back to your body! Choji you too, come over here and hide." Shikamaru said as Ino undid her jutsu and choji run over and hid.
The curse mark began taking over more of Sasuke's body. Dosu was starting to get scared, "Dosu, this half-dead bastard is nothing to be scared of" Zaku said as he raised his arms, "stop, Zaku! Don't you understand?" Dosu tried warning Zaku but his warning fell on deaf ears, "I'll take care of all of them…in one go!" Zaku said as Sasuke stepped in front of Naruko and Sakura, "Zankūkyokuha! (Extreme decapitating airwaves)" Zaku shot a large wave of extremely pressurised air out both of his arms. As the dust cleared team 7 was nowhere to be seen, "heh, must have been blown to pieces" Zaku said as he took a beep breath, "who did?" Sasuke asked as he punched Zaku across the face knocking him to dosu's feet, he had moved Sakura and Naruko away from the blast, "he's fast moreover, he took in those two, and in a blink of an eye." Dosu said as zaku got up. Sasuke blurred through hand signs, "Katon:Housenka no jutsu (Phoenix flower jutsu)"Sasuke shot fire balls at Zaku, "don't push your luck! I'll blow 'em away!" Zaku blew the fire away only to reveal the shuriken they were hiding, "what the!?" Zaku raised his arms to block. He blocked the shuriken only for Sasuke to twist both of zaku's arms behind his back. Sasuke smirked sadistically as he put his leg on Zaku's back, "looks like your pretty proud of your arms. His curse mark began to recede back to his neck as he calmed down, 'the curse mark is withdrawing… we're saved for now' Dosu thought as he sighed in relief, Sasuke sat down as his breathing slowed to normal,
"your strong, Sasuke… we can't defeat you the way you are now." Dosu said as he pulled out a earth scroll, and put it on the ground, "this is our fee for starting this…" Dosu apologised as he grabbed his two teammates, "let me promise you this, if there's an opportunity to fight you in the next test, we won't hide or run" Dosu said as he began walking way, "wait! Who the hell is Orochimaru? What did he do to Sasuke-kun?!" Sakura demanded as Dosu sighed, "I don't know…we were just given orders to attack Sasuke" Dosu said as Sakura and Sasuke glared at him, 'even though you told us to kill Sasuke, you got to him first. You never wanted us to kill him. you just used us like Guinea pigs' Dosu thought as he left with his team, "you guys! Are you ok?" Ino asked as team 10 cautiously approached Sasuke and Sakura. Sasuke was having a hard time accepting he broke someone's arms without remorse and was laughing about it, his musings were cut short as Naruko woke up, "what, where Am I? The snake creep!" Naruko yelled as she shot up, "calm down" Shikamaru said as he covered his ears, "what? Why is Shikamaru here? Where is Sasuke-kun and Sakura?" Naruko asked as Shikamaru pointed where Sasuke and Sakura were. Sasuke looked over to see what all the commotion was about, but he was tackled into a hug by Naruko, "I'm sorry for what I said!" Naruko said as she hugged Sasuke, he took a moment to remember what she was going on, he finally remembered, "it's ok naru-Chan, it was my fault for being naive" Sasuke said as he kissed her on the head, "now get off, of me" Sasuke said as Naruko punched him on the shoulder.

Naruko said as she pouted, Sasuke just smiled as he got up and kissed her cheek, Naruko just sighed and then she looked at team 10, "what are they doing here?" Naruko asked as Ino glared at Naruko holding hands with Sasuke, "everyone helped out, especially lee" Sakura said as she looked at the unconscious lee. Tenten jumped down and picked up lee the collar and began shaking him violently, "Lee, you idiot! You're not some knight in shining armour! You don't have to go help the Damsel in distress!" Tenten scolded as she let lee go, "Tenten-Chan, what happened? Where's Sakura-Chan?" Lee rasped, he was not hearing anything from his left ear thanks to Dosu, Tenten hit him over the head, "Lee-Baka, you nearly got yourself killed you know?! It was you against three!" Tenten yelled as lee sat down, "I guess I can't argue with that" Lee said as he sighed, "why is bushy brow here!?" Naruko asked as Sakura hit her over the head, "Don't say mean things to him, baka! He's the reason we're alive" Sakura said as Sasuke hit her over the head, "Don't hit naru-Chan!" Sasuke said with a tick mark over his head. "A sinbon rain, huh. I'll make it rain blood" garaa said he raised his hand, in an open palm, 'this guys a goner' temari thought as she prepared herself for what was going to happen next. Sand wrapped around the ame genin, "sabaku kyū (sand coffin)" garaa said as the genin was completely enveloped by sand. Garaa walked over and picked up an umbrella and opened it. Garaa raised his hand higher as the sand covered genin began to float, garaa then closed his hand into a fist, causing the poor genin to explode. His two teammates cried out in horror at the Brutal demise of their teammate, Kiba covered Hinata's mouth so she couldn't scream, "t-take the scroll. P-please let us go" the other boy said as he threw the scroll, but it was of no use they met the same fate as their teammate, "poor bastards, didn't even stay a chance. At least they had the heaven scroll. Let's go to the tower" Kankuro said as garaa looked at a bush, "it's still… not enough for me" garaa said as Kankuro gave him a perplexed look, "garaa, we have the scrolls we need, there's no point in wasting our time" Kankuro said as garaa sneered at him, "what to afraid to get hurt, coward?" Garaa mocked as Kankuro scoffed, "not like we have some absolute defence of sand protecting us like you do" Kankuro said as garaa didn't even budge, "all you are is a coward" garaa said as Kankuro glared, "I'm your older brother. Maybe you should try and listen to me more often!" Kankuro said as garaa blankly stared at him, "I never saw you as my siblings. If you get in my way…I'll kill you regardless" garaa said as Kankuro stepped back,

Naruko was in her swimming attire trying to catch fish in the river, "Kage banshin no jutsu! (Shadow clone)" a wave of Naruko clones jumped into the water, causing some of the fish to get propelled out, "got 'em" Sasuke said as he pinned the fish to a tree by throwing kunai, "I don't think three fish will be enough considering the amount you eat" Sasuke mocked as Naruko glared, "are you calling me fat!?" Naruko asked as Sasuke smirked, "maybe I am" Sasuke said as Naruko raged, as she got out of the water Sasuke blushed, " I'm fat, huh?" She Teased as she swung her long hair into Sasuke's face, "naru-Chan, you should get dressed or you'll catch a cold" Sasuke said as he tried not to blushed. Naruko giggled as she got her clothes, "don't worry you'll get to see me like this later" Naruko teased as Sasuke blushed deeper.

"It's been four days since the second test started. The start of the exam was around 3 in the afternoon. So, I bet we only have twenty-five or twenty-six hours left." Sasuke said as he poked the fire, "there must be teams that have passed already" Sakura said as she put a hand to her chin, 'I can't wait for these to finish cooking' Naruko thought as her Stomach growled, "there might not be any heaven scrolls left" Sakura said as she wondered, "what do you mean?" Sasuke asked as he bit into his fish, "there are only 13 heaven scrolls, and we saw one get destroyed. This is day 4 of the 5 day test so, there is a large possibility of no more heaven scrolls left" Sakura said as she finished eating, "so from here on, we have to increase the distance of our search. At any rate, the next team is our last chance" Sasuke said as he got up, "I'll go get some water. Don't do something dumb while I'm gone, naru-Chan" Sasuke said as he began walking "What do you mean dumb?! I'm not dumb, tebayo!" Naruko yelled as Sasuke mockingly nodded. As Sasuke walked away Naruko picked up the earth scroll, "I have a good way for us not to fight a team, dattebayo!" Naruko said as Sakura gave her a questioning look, "I have lot's of scrolls stocked so…" Naruko said as she emptied her pouch, it had a bunch of scrolls in it, "I don't like where this is going" Sakura said as Naruko sighed,
"come on just listen, if we tweak this a little and change it into exactly like the heaven scroll…" Naruko suggested, "hold it!" Sakura interrupted as she put up her hand, she didn't want any part with this dumb idea, "even if you did that you don't know what's written inside! What would you do if a proctor looked inside, Baka!" Sakura scolded as Naruko pouted, the she got an idea as she grinned, "unless, that's a password or something written and you can't get it unless you have both scrolls, in other words to pass the test we'll need a password or something like that, dattebayo!" Naruko said as she shot up, "Naruko, what difference does that make? If you don't know what's the content, there's no use making a fake!" Sakura said as Naruko sighed dejectedly, "you really are dumb" Sakura said as she sighed, "what if we predict what's inside" Naruko said as she held up the earth scroll, "don't you dare! Have you forgotten the rules, baka?!" Sakura yelled as she took the scroll, "we were told not to open the scrolls, until we got to the tower!" Sakura said, she didn't have the same patience as Sasuke for Naruko, "but, at this rate we'll get eliminated" Naruko said as Sakura sighed, maybe they should look in it, what could go wrong, eh?
"Come on, let's look what could go wrong?" Sakura said as she threw Naruko the scroll. They slowly began opening it as Sasuke came around the corner, but before he could see what they were doing kabuto appeared, "I wouldn't do that if I were you" kabuto said as he put his hand over the scroll. Sasuke ran up and before he run a kunai through him Kabuto raised his hand, "I'm not here for a fight I just saved y'all, your teammates were about to open the scroll" kabuto as Naruko tried explaining, "we were doing it bec-" she was cut off when Sasuke hit her over the head, "you idiot, I can't leave you alone for 5 minutes without you doing something dumb!" Sasuke yelled as Naruko got teary eyed, "stupid bastard" Naruko said as she turned around her back in Sasuke's Direction. He was starting to think he went a little overboard, "oh, come on. I didn't mean it" Sasuke said as he hugged her from behind, but Naruko wasn't budging, "as I was saying, those who open scrolls while not being at the tower are eliminated. In the previous exam, hypnotic jutsu seals were in it to so, if you opened them you'd get hit by the jutsu. A measure to get them to lie in the forest until the end of the test." Kabuto said as he adjusted his glasses, "if I'm not forgetting things, you're kabuto, right?" Sasuke asked as kabuto nodded, "don't worry, I'm not after your scroll." Naruko objected, "shut up, it's the only way to pass" Sasuke said, making sure not to upset her even more, "that's a lie" Kabuto said as team 7 looked at him confused, "your heart isn't totally in this as much as you're saying" Kabuto's words only confused Sasuke even more, "if you could really be become serious about this exam… why is it necessary to fight me?" Kabuto said as Sasuke facepalmed, "yea, smartass how am I supposed to take the scroll? Get on my knees and beg?" Sasuke asked as Naruko giggled, "no, I mean you should jump me at a moment I'm off guard, without announcing it. That's what ninjas do, we're not Samurai. we're not bound by honour" Kabuto said as Sasuke nodded, "Sasuke-kun, instead of punching me you should've attacked him!" Naruko said as Sasuke sighed, he knew it was true, "I don't dislike that side of you. So I shall tell you the way you should go, come let's talk as we move" Kabuto said as they began walking. Sasuke tried put his arm around her but he was pushed away, "you still mad? I said I'm sorry, no?" Sasuke asked as Naruko pouted, "well, have fun staying mad, can't say I didn't try" Sasuke smirked as he walked in front of her, Naruko was at a loss for words, "y-you can't just give up like that!" Naruko exclaimed as Sasuke continued to smirk, "says who? I tried but you're still mad" Sasuke said as he turned around to see a pissed off teary eyed Naruko, "you stupid bastard! You hit me and now you act like this?! It's not fair!" Naruko said as Sasuke hugged her, "oh come on, naru-Chan, you know I was joking" Sasuke said as he kissed her, "if you hit me again I swear I'll break your arm" Naruko threatened as Sasuke's sweat dropped, Sasuke wrapped his arm around her as they continued, "we should move faster, you're camp fire was basically a beacon tell every team who Saw it where you were" Kabuto said as they increased their Pace, "tell me, do you know the smartest way to fight in jungles and expansive forests such as this?" Kabuto asked as team 7 shook their heads.
"The tower is located in the centre of the forest, the common goal for us test-takers. That means when the last day of the test is here… the area near the tower is the easiest place to gather scrolls." Kabuto said as Sakura nodded, "an ambush, right?" Sakura said as Kabuto nodded, "in other words, we go after the scrolls of the teams that have both scrolls and are sitting outside of the tower." Sakura said as she smiled, "that's one-third of the answer, I mean you guys aren't the only ones thinking that!" Kabuto said as they were being followed by a very familiar ame nin, "near the tower, the same badgers have probably set traps, so…" Kabuto said as Naruko was getting excited at the prospect of fighting, "I see! That means there are lots of enemies lying in wait for us!" Naruko said as Sasuke squeezed her hand, "calm down, we're not blindly running in, and hoping we get lucky" Sasuke said as Naruko whined, "the collectors who are certain are to appear during an exam like this. In this exam, with the tower just a stone's throw away, you definitely can't rest easy… these guys in particular gather extra scrolls as bribe for letting them go. It goes without saying, but these guys are quite the opposition." Kabuto said as Sasuke nodded.
"Now I understand the reason why you appeared before us. You're scared too" Sasuke said as Naruko scoffed, "I'm not scared, dattebayo!" Naruko exclaimed as Sasuke and Sakura gave her a deadpan look, "sure you aren't, naru-Chan" Sasuke said sarcastically as Naruko punched him on the shoulder, "I'm not, teme-kun, dattebayo!" Naruko said as Sasuke just nodded as kissed her cheek
Near the tower…
They had gotten in view of the Tower by night fall, "now then, the tower is finally in view. From here on is the hard part" Kabuto said as Sasuke threw a kunai at a large centipede, "the wild life here is something else" Sasuke said as he looked at the Abnormally large centipede, "these things are gross, so many legs" Sakura said a look of pure discussed on her face, "Naruko, I'd like to avoid inadvertent sounds and careless actions from here on, you can't just rush through a dense forest making more noise then an elephant" Kabuto said as Sasuke smirked, "I think you're asking a little to much from her" Sasuke said as he got punched on the shoulder, "I'm not that loud, Sasuke-kun" Naruko said in a whisper, "we should keep moving, and you two love birds don't go chirping around" Kabuto said as they kept moving, Naruko and Sasuke glaring into the back of his head.

"Alright, it's gonna get more dangerous from here, so watch your step" Kabuto said as they slowed down. Naruko was about to walk forward when Sasuke put his hand in front of her, "what, why'd you do that?" "The tower hasn't gotten a bit closer" Sakura complained as they continued walking, "my legs are gonna give out" Naruko whined as she leaned on Sasuke, "fine, let me carry you" Sasuke sighed as he picked her up, Naruko grinned as Sasuke continued walking with Naruko in his arms, "I don't know if we're lucky or unlucky, we haven't seen A single team yet" Naruko said as Sasuke nodded, it was strange they hadn't seen anyone considering they were so close to the tower, "it seems that we're already within the enthusiastic welcome. Take a look at that" Kabuto pointed as they looked it was the same dead centipede that Sasuke killed, in the exact same spot, "what the hell!? It's the same one Sasuke-kun killed!" Naruko said as Sasuke nodded, "is it a genjutsu?" Sasuke asked, "it seems so, we were lured in perfectly. We were made to walk around the same path in a circle. We're being watched…probably, they're wearing us down" Kabuto said as he adjusted his glasses, "alright get down, I can't fight with you in my arms" Sasuke said as he kissed Naruko and let her down, "we're gonna kick some ass, dattebayo!" a bunch of clone began forming , "that's a lot of clones" Kabuto said as he looked around, "ha, common rats" one of the clones mocked, "alright, that's enough with you" Naruko said as she punched the clone on a pressure point, as expected her punch went right through it, but it didn't dispel, "what the hell?!" Naruko asked incredulously as the clone started growing another half from the area Naruko punched. The clone raised a kunai to stab Naruko but Sasuke threw shuriken cutting off its arm, "didn't I tell you to be careful, naru-Chan?!" Sasuke yelled as Naruko sheepishly grinned, "as I said, my knight in shining armour" Naruko said as she winked, Sasuke blushed, "what the hell are these clones? Naruko punched through one and it didn't dispel!" Sakura said as the clones slowly began approaching them, "genjutsu, don't try and attack 'em it's useless" Sasuke said as he activated his sharingan, "they're attacking from different places to make to appear the clones are attacking" Kankuro said as all of them got into defensive positions, "then I'll find the idiot in the shadows, dattebayo!" Naruko said as she grinned, "we hid when she made the clones, and you thought we were here" Sasuke said as Naruko's clones jumped the ame team, "I Hate genjutsu users, stupid cowards" Naruko said as she dispelled her clones and was about to collapse when Sasuke caught her, "you used to much chakra now rest, naru-Chan" Sasuke said as he kissed her cheek, "but, what about those guys?" Naruko asked as Sasuke carried her piggy back.
"Don't worry about that" Sasuke said as Sakura and Kabuto Walked over to the beaten up genin, "you guys gonna give up, or what?" Kabuto asked as oboro tried going through hand signs, only for Sakura to stomped on his chest, "I swear to kami, if you try one more thing I'll ran this kunai through your neck!" Sakura yelled a tick mark on her head, "you don't scare me pink-" he was cut off by kabuto's glare, it was filled with twisted almost demented rage, "f-fine we give u-up, take the damn scroll, just p-please don't kill us" oboro said in fear as kabuto's smirked, "now that wasn't that hard, was it?" Kabuto said calmly he took the heaven scroll from Oboro, "you guys! Catch!" Kabuto said as he threw the scroll to Naruko, "yeah! Finally we can get this stupid test over with!" Naruko said as she caught the scroll, 'that kid has way to much chakra for a genin' Kabuto thought as they began walking, "Sasuke-kun, what's this on your neck?" Naruko asked as she looked at the curse mark, "i'm surprised you didn't see it earlier. Well, that snake bastard bit me the neck and now this thing is there" Sasuke choose not to tell her the whole part where he might of broken two arms. Naruko's eye twitched as she rubbed his neck, "stupid snake gave my boyfriend a hickey" Naruko said as Sasuke sighed, "don't call it that, don't make it weird" Sasuke said as Naruko giggled, "then tell me, what should I call it? You got a name or something for it? If not I'm not budging" Naruko said as Sasuke sighed, he didn't have any name for the thing on his neck

They were right outside the tower as Kabuto's team approached them, "Kabuto, you're late" yoroi said as Kabuto sheepishly rubbed his head, "sorry, I kind of got caught in something" Kabuto said as he walked to his team, "Kabuto-san, thanks again for the scroll" Sakura said as Kabuto waved her off, "no,no, that's no reason to thank me you guys did the hard work, I just ''convinced'' them to hand it over" Kabuto said as they reached the gates, "I wished both of us good luck" Kabuto said as he gave them a thumbs up, "we'll go through this gate and you guys will go through that one, right?" Naruko asked Kabuto nodded
Inside the tower…
"I got the info on the girl and Sasuke as you requested, Orochimaru-sama" Kabuto said as he handed him two cards, "good work, Kabuto-kun" Orochimaru said as he disappeared
"There's no one here?" Naruko asked as Sasuke grunted, "can you get off me now, Or what?" Sasuke asked as Naruko grinned, "nope, I like it here" Naruko said as she kissed his cheek, "oh! Look at that, it says to open both scrolls" Sakura said as she pulled out the earth scroll, and Naruko took the heaven, "I swear if we get knocked out, I'm gonna kill whoever designed this test" Naruko said as they opened the scrolls, the scrolls began to smoke as they threw them on the ground, Iruka appeared, "it seems you guys have passed this test" iruka said as he looked at team 7, "iruka-sensei? What are you doing here?" Naruko said as iruka chuckled at the site off Sasuke carrying Naruko, "we chunin are to welcome the test-takers. I just happened to be given the task of being the messenger for you guys" iruka said as he looked at the time, "you guys are just in time" iruka said, "iruka-sensei, what would you have done if we opened the scrolls in the middle of the forest?" Naruko asked as iruka picked up the scrolls, "it would've knocked you out, for the remainder of the test" iruka said as Sasuke smirked, "you two got lucky Kabuto saved you" Sasuke said as Naruko and Sakura nervously chuckled, "well, that's all of the task I was given.
