this takes place after the series 6 finale of doctor who (2005) and a short while after ryuji and akira kurusu (the protagonist of P5R) meet. Hope you guys like this as I'm a big fan of both doctor who and Persona 5 royal, this is my first time writing fanfiction and I'd like to do it well, any advice and help would be great to improve this. Hope you Enjoy! I don't own either Doctor Who or Persona, I only own this fanfic and all I aim to do is have others enjoy what I create.

Chapter 1, the beginnings of a wild journey:

The doctor would be in his TARDIS with it's futuristic look and the consoles retro style, standing by the console and thinking to himself.

After the doctor had saved himself from an untimely death at lake silencio, he would be operating the TARDIS with joy, trying to find a good spot to take a small break in while still wearing his signature tweed jacket and red bowtie outfit. he was thankful that the ponds were safe for now and was pretty happy after officially marrying river song, he smiled in satisfaction and said to his lovely TARDIS

"alright sexy, let's take off."

he then pulled a lever on the console, preparing himself for the shaking that always comes out of flying his beautiful TARDIS, but this time the shaking was more violent than normal as it made the doctor flail around a lot trying to keep control of the TARDIS and fall back on a nearby railing and almost fall to the floor below him, thankfully he had a good grip on the railing and pulled himself up and back to the console. As he operated the TARDIS to fly to their next destination, he checked the sensors to see what the less than usual very violent shaking was all about, and from the looks of it he seemed to be going into another universe… Oh dear. He then said to himself while panicking a bit

"this was not what I had in mind when i said lets take off!"

He tried to calm himself down a bit from the situation but it didn't really help at all, all he could do now was wait for the violent shaking to stop. and finally, the TARDIS had landed at its destination and the shaking had stopped, the doctor had a look of relief as he laid back on the railing of the TARDIS. The doctor then felt something in his pocket, like something was being written into it, it had to be his psychic paper… he pulled it out to see the message he was given.

"Help me doctor, help guide my trickster." - L.

this made the doctor very curious, who's the trickster? And who was this L person? No matter, he would leave the console and approach the TARDIS doors, hoping that he could find someone or something to help him. he then opened the doors up to see that he was in an urban alleyway of sorts, he then saw two guys walking down the alleyway with matching high school uniforms, one was a blond who wore his uniform casually while the other one was a black haired guy with glasses and wore his uniform properly. He needed to know where he was specifically, and since he was in a totally new universe, he had to make some friends of course. He would approach the two and say to them with an endearing smile

"hello! I'm the doctor, could you please tell me where I am specifically? No reason why, just curious."

the two guys would look at each other in confusion and then look back at the strange british man, the blond would then say to the doctor "umm, are you for real dude? We're in aoyama itchome, are you on something or…?"

the doctor would then have a shocked look on his face and stopped smiling for the moment, saying aloud to himself "wait a minute, aoyama itchome, that means I'm in japan which also means-" he looked at his watch "21st century, eh, thought it would be the 90s sooner or later- wait a minute wait a minute, getting sidetracked, where are you guys going?"

the blond was absolutely baffled by this guy, before anything else the blond would say to the doctor "woah woah woah, first off, who the hell are you dude?!" The blond felt like this was all out of the blue and thought that he deserved an explanation.

the doctor would then say to the blond "I told you, I'm the doctor, wasn't it obvious?" the black haired kid would then ask the doctor with a look of confusion "Doctor who?" the doctor would smile again and respond to him saying "ahh yes, that's the question isn't it? I love it. anyways, it's just the doctor, nothing else really." the doctor lied of course, no one could know his true name… it wouldn't lead to any good at all.

The blond and black haired kid looked at each other again, this was really bonkers to them, the doctor would then bring back the question "right, where was I, oh yeah! Where are you two going?" The blond felt like he might as well answer this strange man's question and said to him reluctantly "we're going to shujin academy, we're taking a shortcut there… waitaminute, why am I even telling you this?!" Shujin academy? This was the first time he had ever heard of such a school before, the doctor then said to the blond "I just have one of those faces, where people just tell me their plans." The doctor then thought to himself that he should check what this school is exactly and if he could find this trickster there, he then said to both of the guys with a cheeky smile "well, I'm gonna come along with you, I want to see what this school is like!"

Without even getting a single word in, the blond was being pushed by the doctor to hurryingly get to shujin academy, while the black haired kid just stood where he was shocked. But quickly he snapped out of it and started walking to where that doctor fellow and the blond haired kid were going. but as soon as he made one step, he heard a weird splash behind him and looked back to see what it was, unknown to him a weird app on his phone had activated somehow and did something unexpected and there were no puddles from what the black haired guy could see. Before he could do anything the black haired kid would hear a shocked sound from what he knew was the blond guy and a "this is not good!" from the strange british guy who called himself the doctor, the black haired kid then hurried up and went to them to see what the hell was going on, to his surprise… a huge and ominous looking castle was that surprise.

Oooo, this is interesting, what's going to happen next? Ha, sorry sweetie, spoilers…
