Love Messages On Smores

You x Ruby

"Mm…This…and…like that…All done!" Ruby brings both fists to her chest in a small cheer, thankfully not squeezing the icing decorating bottle too hard for excess cream to spurt out.

DING DONG~

Ruby blinks towards the door, and puts away some baking items, washing her hands and hurried to open the door for the unexpected guest.

I wonder who…

"Y-You-chan?" Ruby blinks in surprise; though she could not help her body's other reaction of being more perk and excited at the appearance of the ash-brunette.

"Heya, Ruby-chan! Sorry to pop so suddenly but…" You grins at Ruby looking up at her curiously and expectantly.

"But..?"

Is You-chan here to hang out? With me or..?

You leans to her side where her left hand rested on her hip and her right hand now raised while holding a book. Ruby's emerald eyes following. "You left your textbook at my place the other day."

"Ah…T-Thank you for bringing it all the way here…" Ruby lowers her head shyly and apologetically; her carelessness causing her senior to have to make a special trip to her house.

But I'm glad I was careless…Since it allowed me to see You-chan on a Saturday…

"Do you mind if I come in?" You shrugged to act nonchalant though she bit her lower lip while keeping her smile.

"O-Of course! Come inside. And stay!" Ruby blurts.

"Stay?" You steps pass the redhead, hiding a huge grin blossoming.

"I mean, a-as long as you like!" Ruby adds on for damage control; which backfired immediately.

You chuckles. "So I can choose forever~?"

Ruby gapes and only realized her wording when the teasing, flirty brunette winked. Ruby shakes her head from side to side hurriedly, heat rushing her cheeks. "Th-That's not what I…I meant…Y-You could…Aaa…Onee-chan…"

If You-chan stays here forever…will mum and dad be upset? Will onee-chan be against it?

Seeing small tears form on Ruby's pretty emeralds', You puts a hand on Ruby's shoulder. "I'm just pulling your leg, Ruby-chan."

P-Pulling my leg…

Ruby calms down a little, feeling kind of dejected that You didn't want to stay forever.

"Hm?" You sniffs the air. "I smell something sweet~ And I'm quite sure it isn't Ruby-chan this time." You flashes a huge, dazzling smile which made Ruby speechless for a moment.

"Th-That's the smores I was making with onee-chan for Valentine's day." Ruby was quick to be back on energetic at the mention of her older sister…and the sweet pastries they were baking.

"Ooh~ Sounds yummy!" You steps back a little, eyeing the kitchen; wanting to take a peek.

"Would you like to taste some, You-chan?" Ruby leads the way to the kitchen.

"I can?!" You skips along.

"These are the ones that didn't come out as nicely…But onee-chan already said they tasted good! So I'm confident in the taste at least…" Ruby daringly offers her baked goods to the ash-brunette she had a big crush on.

You raises her eyebrows as she took one up. "Ittadakimasu~"

Ruby nods and watches You elicit a happy sound; that easily made Ruby a hundred times more relieved and assured that her smores came out delicious. "A-Also, for the Valentine's day smores…I added messages on them."

"Aww, that's real sweet!" You praises as she licked lips, reaching over for another spare to gobble down.

Y-You-chan is enjoying the smores I made so much…I'm glad…

"Mmph…" Ruby couldn't help her cheek muscles from pulling upwards more and more when with You. "Usually leaving a message on cards would be there forever…But those on snacks will be eaten up. So I can write the more embarrassing feelings I have on them."

"Hmmm~" You hums in thought before beaming at Ruby.

You-chan smiling…is so lovely but…I got a feeling-

"I'll take pictures of Ruby-chan's handmade smores before eating them!" You laughs at her ingenious idea.

"Eeehhh!? D-Don't take pictures..! Please~~" Ruby whines embarrassedly; if You takes pictures…that would defeat the purpose of putting her blush-inducing messages on something that isn't permanent!

And…And..!

I wrote that I really like You-chan on the ones I'm giving to her! What if…what if she finds out I like her?

And~ I'm ending it here. XD Because that's how Ruby's Valentine SIF story ended too ;D

We all know You likes Ruby too. It's mutual pining. Hehe. But well, if I receive the motivation – externally or internally :3 I'll write continuations! XD
