Yoshiko x Riko

Only Because I love You

"So…" The bluenette first year begins slowly, thoughtfully, with furrowed eyebrows. "You're getting tired of Chika and You not admitting to having special feelings for one another."

Riko nods.

"And you've come to me, the unbeatable Fallen Angel Yohane, for assistance. Am I correct, Riri?" Yohane lifts her hand in her signature pose over her eyes.

Riko nods again; concern for the matter apparent though she had a hint of a smile thanks to Yohane's shenanigans.

Yoshiko pauses for a moment to take in the sight of the redhead's expression loving to stare at Riko's beauty. "Ahem!" Yohane clears her throat before continuing, "You have come to the right person then! For I've…"

Yoshiko makes a few grunting sounds as she lifts various thick books off another to get to the one she wants, dropping it in front of Riko with a thud for effect. "…got the perfect spell for you."

"Perfect spell?" Riko repeats; with curiosity and a little bit of doubt.

Yohane ignores the doubt and jumps on the curiosity. "Yes!" She flips the pages dramatically, the sound of the papers turning quickly fills her room before she stops it abruptly, a finger pointing to a spell listed as she beams. "THIS!"

They both craned their bodies over the spellbook to read the spell. "Truth potion..?"

Yoshiko's eye twitches before a smile graces her panicky expression from worrying she pointed to an entirely unrelated spell. "Y-Yes. With a truth potion, no matter how adamant Chika and You wants to deny their feelings for each other. They can't help but confess."

"I don't know…" Riko trails off as she considers.

"No harm in making them drink a drink." Yohane urges, scanning the spell. "No side effects are written here."

Riko thinks again, and again; and really, there will be no progress in her best friends relationship if she doesn't do anything! Riko takes her favourite fallen angel's hand in hers. "This is…without a doubt the stupidest plan you've ever had-"

"Hey!"

Riko chuckles. "Of course I'm in."

"It's not stupid." Yohane protests whiney.

"Silly?"

"Not silly."

"Ridiculous?"

"No!"

"I saw that we need to collect ingredients for the potion, Yoshiko-chan."

"Yohane. And how hard could it be…" Yoshiko trails off as her eyes bulge and mouth drops agape. "How about another plan-"

"We're doing this."

"But-"

"It'll be a fun date~" Riko smiles with closed eyes, hands over Yoshiko's.

"WE'LL NEED TO CLIMB MOUNTAINS AND GO INTO THE WILDERNESS FOR THESE!"

"I'm excited~" Riko sing-songs; her indoor side forgotten in the moment of wanting to tease her girlfriend and get her best friends together.

Numazu has an abundance of nature, and thankfully or not thankfully, there were mountains available for Yoshiko and Riko to climb.

"Haa…Haaa…Haaa! Gyaaahhh…R-Riri…Why…are we…doing…this…again!?" Yoshiko was panting hard and could no longer walk straight as they reach, possibly 100metres high.

"We can do this, Yocchan." The pianist encourages with a hand stretched out for Yoshiko to take.

The bluenette sighs as she puts her hand in her girlfriend's, averting eye contact. "Yeah…But do we have to?"

"Yes. It was your idea, you know." Riko states matter-of-factly as they came face to face with a worn looking bridge.

"Stupid idea…" Yoshiko mutters under her breath before seeing the said bridge. She pales. "Stupid me..! Riri, let's turn back-"

"No way! We already went through two whole beaches to get this special orange-blue shell! We're already one-third ways through this…quest, Yocchan." Riko changes up her sentence and observes the twitch in the bluenette – transformation to Yohane.

Signature pose done, though she kept her hands in Riko's, "Nothing scares Yohane! Let's go!"

Riko smiles; even if it was a front, Yoshiko and Yohane always fills her with confidence.

It's a miracle they survived the mountain climbing AND shaky and worn out wooden bridge, held by strings Yoshiko thinks it's over a hundred years old.

But Riko was smiling and they now had the orange-blue seashell and a single petal of Numazu Rainbow Flower, so Yoshiko doesn't mind as much as she would like.

"Last item to go to a confession scene between Chika and You." Riko mutters and nods to herself before looking up to make eye contact with Yoshiko.

Yoshiko feels her tummy do a flip flop; common occurrence whenever she gazes into Riko's beautiful eyes but nonetheless a nervous reaction. "Y-Yeah…I'm glad the last one is the easiest."

Riko giggles lyrically. "I'm glad too~ Hokkaido snow here we come!"

"Riri…" Yoshiko begins thoughtfully, braving a hand over the redhead's.

"Mm?" Riko tilts her head in question.

"I don't even know why we're doing this anymore...but I just wanted to let you know that I'm only doing this cause I love you." Yoshiko squeezes Riko's hand.

"I love you too, Yoshiko-chan." Riko grins; happy and teasing.

"Yohane." The bluenette corrects with a lovesick smile.

Ah, I find this prompt a tough one because of how I have to come up with a really stupid plan first XD Or at least…one that Riko/Yoshiko would say it is!

Jajajaj, will the completed potion really work? XD Will ChikaYou confess like such?

Either way, I hope y'all like the little YohaRiko shenanigan! Cute and fallen angel-ish. XD It's not always incantations!
