A/N: A tiny fluff written for my friend, who has had a series of bad migraines. It's not great, as I'm going through writer's block, but enjoy perhaps.

The List

Shego sighed as she walked into the lab. It was her third time in that day, after having re-read any magazine worth reading, tanning, doing her nails, and eating enough snacks to spoil her dinner. She was bored, and Drakken...was apparently making no progress.

"Whatcha workin' on Dr. D.?" she said without enthusiasm in the direction of the blue lab coat clad man hunched over the computer desk.

Drakken appeared to shrink in size as he moved unnecessarily to hide the paper he was writing on.

"Nothing!" he snapped. "I mean, ah...my plan shall reveal itself in due time, Shego."

Shego rolled her eyes, tired of his prevarications, and moved to try to see the single letter-sized piece of paper that had apparently been his preoccupation since before she woke up. She caught the briefest glimpse before he had secreted it beneath his sleeve and gave her a dark, threatening look.

"There's like...what, five words written on there? Is that all you've done?" she asked incredulously.

"This is very important! It can't be rushed."

Shego leaned against the desk and crossed her arms.

"What hare-brained scheme is it this time? Lasers mounted on condors?"

"No!"

"Mind-controlled rats?" she asked with a smirk, shifting toward him to see the paper.

"No! Go back to your...whatever you were doing," Drakken insisted, leaning away.

"Come on, what's the big secret?" Shego said, making a grab for the paper as he had become her new entertainment.

A very brief scuffle ensued, ending with her leg parallel to the ground and her boot in his chest as he snarled and reached forward futilely to snatch back the slip of paper she had stolen. His snarls turned to incoherent grumbles as she chuckled and held him at bay, but as she finally focused on the paper her humor slowly dissolved. Drakken's protests died as well, and she was aware he had stopped struggling. She slowly set her foot back down and read over the five words that headed the page.

'Reasons I love Shego,' it read, with a single bullet-point beneath and nothing further.

She blinked at the paper, and then looked up into Drakken's pleading eyes.

"That's not very flattering," she said in monotone as she extended her arm and Drakken snatched the paper back and whirled away.

He said nothing as he sat down again, his hand shaking with what emotion she wasn't sure as he took up his pen.

"All day and...nothing?"

She didn't know how she felt about him making the list at all, let alone the fact that he'd found nothing to write on it. But apparently he had finally thought of something, as the man's only response was to write a single word down on the paper, the heavy press of his pen the only sound in the room.

"I wanted to be specific..." he began quietly, as he pushed the paper across the desk in her direction. She picked it up as he continued. "But there's just too much."

'Everything,' the paper now read below the header.

Shego searched for an anchor amid the strange swirl of feelings within her chest, finally focusing on the sensation of breath leaving and entering her now-parted lips. She swallowed slowly as her heart thudded against her ribs.

"Dork," she said with a smirk, hoping that the tremble of her voice or the blush on her cheeks wouldn't be noticed as she shoved the paper into his face.

Drakken grabbed the paper and she caught a glimpse of his frustrated features before she turned away, a smile blooming on her face.

"Oh yeah? Well! You try to...! Just...! It's not like...!"

His attempted explanations turned into incoherent sputterings. After a moment and with her heart pounding, Shego spun around and silenced him with a kiss. Drakken's muffled voice of protest died in seconds, until they parted and he gasped for breath while looking wonderingly into her eyes.

"Don't sweat it anymore, Dr. D.," she said, her voice hushed as she took the paper from his clenched fingers and let it flutter to the floor. "I think you nailed it."

She watched relief flood his features, and then set her arms up on his shoulders and kissed him again.
