Chapter 94

"Sirius Orion Black!" Petunia scolded. "Stop fiddling with the tie and leave the buttons done up. This is your god forsaken wedding day and you will not mess this up because you want to look scruffy! You can do that at the reception afterwards!"

Petunia Dursley was asked to plan a wedding and that was what she was going to do even if she had to kill Sirius to stop him from ruining his outfit. She spent too long on the phone to the tailor trying to get it sorted and she was not going to let him ruin it.

Remus looked at complete ease in his black suit, the inside of it being a dark navy as his shirt was a soft silky silver. His tie was navy and silver with an aristocratic theme. The vest under the jacket was the same with black and silver design, contrasting the suit nicely as he buttoned it.

Sirius was fiddling with his cuffs, frowning at them. The underside of his black jacket was silver with a navy shirt, his tie and pocket square matched Remus' vest just like Remus' tie and pocket square matched Sirius' silver and navy vest.

A cloak was clasped onto each of their shoulders, one silver for Sirius and one navy for Remus.

"Almost time to walk down the aisle, boys," Petunia popped her head into the room. She nodded to Rebekah. "Ask her already!"

She disappeared out to the garden of the new manor

Being the last direct Black, Sirius was entitled to all Black Family property and that included the large manor near the cliffs of Dover. It was huge and hidden away with Magic.

The large, charcoal windows, and door complimented the grey stone and masonry. Each layer of the three visible floors followed the one beneath, becoming smaller in size each time. Shrubs, brush and trees lined the front and sides. The front porch had its wood match the windows, along with the pillars lined with greenery. Double staircase connected the paved ground to the porch.

The back garden was beautiful and that was where the wedding was going to happen.

"We've got the Old, the New, and the Blue," Sirius muttered. "But we need something borrowed."

Remus sighed, almost shoving Sirius aside. "He means to ask if you could be our Something Borrowed, Becks. We want you to walk us down."

For once in her life, Rebekah was speechless as she stood in her dark blue, almost black dress. It was fitted to her form with off the shoulder flounce style neckline, going to the floor with a slit on either side. They stopped at mid thigh and showed off the black shoes she wore. Her makeup was glamorous but perfect for the occasion with silver accenting her features with a dark red lip.

"Aww, she's speechless," Sirius tried to hug her, ready to mess with her beautifully done up hair.

"Touch the hair and I will stab you with the knife you gave me, I don't care if it's your wedding day, Paddy," Rebekah threatened. She had spent a while trying to fix her hair, putting it up. A silver and blue hair clip kept her hair from tumbling down from the base of her skull, all gathered to create an elberate look and to show off the Black Family heirloom necklace Sirius had let her borrow for the day.

"Well?" Remus prompted carefully. before smiling softly. "We walked your mother down the aisle, and we thought it fitting for you to walk us down."

Rebekah took a breath in, smiling before extending both of her elbows for them to take. "Of course I'll walk my GodFather and his lover down the aisle."

The three of them walked out of the room and into the steps of the garden before going down the aisle. The aisle was long but there weren't many guests. Black chairs lined the aisle with guests, spread evenly.

At the very end was a giant willow tree where they would stand underneath.

It was a dozen metres tall. Its long and wispy branches graced the ground, barely leaving anything bare besides the roots. Each leaf was a vibrant shade of emerald green, healthy and strong. The bark was soft and yet firm to the touch. It was so close to being unnatural.

The roots had warped overtime, leaving a small cove right in the middle where the wedding party was. A tiny table was set into the back, a knife and a long rope ribbon laid there along with a dark goblet.

Tonks stood there in a black dress, looking a little uncomfortable with the dress but her hair was a bright blue and that made her feel like herself. Moody stood on the other side in dark robes.

McGonagall sat in the front on one side of the aisle, but on her left was Severus Snape of all people. A couple of the Weasleys sat together, Molly looked disapprovingly at the beautifully done venue while she sat next to her husband. Dumbledore sat a couple rows back, talking to someone Rebekah didn't know. On the other side of the aisle was Narcissa Malfoy with Draco.

Out of all the people Sirius and Remus asked to do the ceremony, they had Rebekah do it. The person had to be someone they thought could bind them, and they couldn't think of anyone better.

When they got to the top, Rebekah waited for both men to kneel onto the two pillows already there. She went to the table and took the goblet into her hands.

"Friends, family, loved ones," Rebekah started loudly to make sure everyone heard. She couldn't keep the biggest happy grin she had ever had on her lips from her face. "We are all here today to see two people, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, join hands, Magic, and Souls and be bound together by their love, for this lifetime and for every single one afterwards."

She placed the goblet between them.

"Do you, Remus Lupin, promise to show Sirius Black your honor and fidelity, to share his hopes and dreams, to laugh with him and share endless days of joy, to stand side by side with him in times of trouble, and to spend each day loving him more than the day before?"

"I promise with my word, my Magic and my soul."

She turned to Sirius. "Do you, Sirius Black, promise to show Remus Lupin your honor and fidelity, to share his hopes and dreams, to laugh with him and share endless days of joy, to stand side by side with him in times of trouble, and to spend each day loving him more than the day before?"

"I promise with my word, my Magic and my soul."

"Then I ask you both to hold out your hands. With this knife, I draw blood, I draw lifeforce and I draw Magic, to bind and break you, to make you both worthy of each other as you bind yourselves together as one," On each palm, Rebekah drew a single line down their hands and allowed them to clasp their hands together afterwards. She took the long ribbon rope. "As I wrap your hands together, I bind you, I make you one as your blood drips into the flaming goblet so that Magic knows your intentions to keep this bond sacred to you."

She tied the ribbon, watching as it tightly wrapped around all four hands and became one infinite ribbon. "This cord ribbon symbolises so much. It is your life, your love, and the eternal connection that the two of you have found with one another. The ties of this handfasting are not formed by these ribbons, or even by the knots connecting them. They are formed instead by your vows, by your pledge, your souls, and your two hearts, now bound together as one. As two become one, you may come out of this ceremony together forever."

As soon as both men kissed, the ribbon that held their hands captive dropped into the goblet and flared a light upwards. This signified that the bond was cemented and permanently created.

"You may consummate the bond later, but first alcohol!" She gave them a pointed look before leaning towards Remus. "You do realise this means you're also my GodFather, Moony? Goodluck…"

"The Best Cub of Honour, as vulgar as ever!" Sirius called out with a laugh.

Over the main staircase of the manor, a portrait hung.

Sirius and Remus stood around a single chair, Rebekah sitting in it as they clasped a hand on the top of it. They all looked beautiful, looking like a family even if they looked nothing alike. There was something about them which made everyone who looked on it to think that these people weren't human but perhaps something a little more Magical.

Emperor suddenly jumped onto Portrait Rebekah's lap, making them all laugh as he purred loudly.
