They stared at the dog that had just talked for a long time. They stared at him for half an hour.

"Huh...the kids did that the first time I spoke too," Stan noted.

"The dog...just...talked..." Said Dennis, his eyes widened and his jaw opened in surprise.

"Uh, no I didn't." Said Stan.

"Yes, you fucking did!" Dennis pointed at him.

"Guys...what if this dog is a demon?" Asked Mac.

"Mac is right...what the fuck is going?!" Charlie yelled, shocked.

"Who even are you guys and...I should probably stop talking now." Stan realized.

"Okay, we need to kill this thing." Said Dee, still staring at it.

"But with what? How do we kill this...this abomination?!" Asked Dennis.

"You guys silly." Said one of the pups, Gracie.

"Oh my god, the puppies can talk!" Dee yelled, backing away from them.

"We should have just brought Frank and his gun and he could have Old Yeller'ed these fucking dogs!" Mac exclaimed.

"Wait!" Dennis yelled loudly, causing the rest of the gang to look at him."Guys...there are talking dogs in here...don't you know what this means?"

"That this creature and these pups are a sin against God?" Mac asked him.

Dennis rolled his eyes."It means we can be rich! I mean, think about it! Really think about it! If we show this talking dog to the world, people will pay us!"

"Ya' know...that could work." Dee nodded in agreement."This might be our best scheme."

"What?!" Stan yelled."You can't do that! The government will take me and my pups away! I'll never see my family again!"

"Oh, shut up! You're a dog!" Dee yelled at him.

"I'm okay with kidnapping a dog." Mac shrugged.

"I don't know..." Said Charlie, feeling a little sad that he would have to take a creature away from his family.

"You could buy a cool car." Dennis suggested.

"Okay, I'm in." Charlie said.

They all then turned to the dogs.

"Man, that food at Guigino's was so good." Tyler said as his father drove them all back to the hotel.

They got out of the car and walked to their room...only to see their room was all a mess."What in the world?!" Said Ellen, confused.

"Did Stan and the pups do this?" Bennet said, looking at the room that had been messed up.

"Wait...where are they?" Avery asked.

After looking around the room and taking a look in the bathroom, they saw no sign of Stan or the pups. The family went over to one of the employees and asked if anyone went into their room or if they saw any of their dogs.

The employee told them that some people came into the hotel.

"One of them said he was a friend of yours and when he left the room with your dogs, he was taking them somewhere because he asked you to." The employee said.

"They took Stan and the pups!" Avery said.

"It's going to be alright, kids." Ellen assured them."We're going to find Stan and the pups."

Bennet nodded."Yeah, let's just go back to the room."

They went back to their room. Bennet called the police while Tyler, Avery, and Chloe snuck out and went into the hotel hallway.

"Guys, this is terrible!" Avery said to them."If they know that Stan can talk, they might tell the whole world! We need to find them."

"But where are we going to find them?" Chloe asked.

"Perhaps I can help." Said a voice. They looked around, confused about where the voice came from.

Suddenly, they saw a body walk out of the blue paint of the wall in the hallway.

"Karl?!" Avery said, shocked to see him."What are you doing here?"

Karl Fink, who was covered in blue paint, looked at them."My mother brought me here because she had some business with working out or something. Anyway, I saw you guys here so I thought I would spy on you for a while."

"How long were you waiting at the wall?" Tyler asked.

"That's not important. What is important is that I saw the people that took Stan away." Karl said to them.

"Really? Do you know who they are?"

"No, but I have a relative who might know..."

Karl led them out of the hotel and into the city. It was still nighttime as cars drove and people walked by them.

"Who's this relative of yours?" Tyler asked as they then went into a dark alleyway.

"He's my mother's brother. And...well, I think you should just meet him." Karl said.

Avery screamed when she saw a man with dirty clothes and a big scar over his face.

"Yeah, nice to see you too." The man said to her.

"Friends, I would like you to meet my uncle, Matthew Mara." Karl introduced them to the man.

"Yeah, but you can just call me Rickety Cricket. Everyone else does."

"Uh...nice to meet you...Rickety Cricket..." Avery said to him.

Chloe extended her hand to shake his hand but Avery slowly pushed her back.

"Listen, we need your help, uncle." Said Karl."Three men and a woman took their dog and pups."

"Three men and a woman..." Cricket said slowly, thinking about this."Did the woman have blonde hair?"

"Yes, actually." Karl nodded.

"I know who you're talking about. And I know where they are." He said.

"Will you help us?" Asked Avery.

...

Sure." He shrugged after a moment of silence.

"Really? I mean, you'll just help us?" Tyler said, surprised.

"They ruined my life...I used to be a priest."

"Wait...you were a priest?" Avery asked, surprised, finding that hard to believe.

"You think I was born like this?!" Cricket snapped, frightening them.

He quickly calmed down."Sorry, sorry...okay, I'll help you get your dogs back."
