Chapter 20: The Calvary Arrives

"Izuku Midoriya…and Sento Kiryu, huh?" Shigaraki asked with curiosity in his voice as he watched the Sports Festival unfold on the screen. Kurogiri polished another glass as he watched the man disintegrate the glass he finished drinking from.

"…I would prefer if you didn't disintegrate every glass we have." The black mass remarked with a hint of annoyance in his voice. "It will be hard to order new ones considering our reception in the public's eye."

"Oh, pipe down you big baby." Shigaraki barked back. He made sure to make sure that the vitriol in his voice was to be heard. "It's just a glass, it could have been worse. I could have disintegrated the bar."

"And why would you do something like that? Then us villains wouldn't have a place to gather and discuss our diabolical plans to each other." A new voice suddenly said. The two turned to see Gentoku and some other man entering the establishment.

"Well, well." Shigaraki remarked as the men made their way to the bar. "If it isn't Japan's most wanted!"

"Shut it." Gentoku barked back as he went behind the bar and grabbed the first bottle he could before Kurogiri could usher him away. "I don't need a reminder of what happened. Considering how my face is basically plastered almost everywhere." He then proceeded to pour himself a glass and drank it in one gulp. Shigaraki then turned to the other man who proceeded to take a seat right next to him.

"…I'm sorry, who are you?" The pale man asked, as he got a sense that he somehow met him before but couldn't place where exactly. The stranger than had a small look of shock on his face as he turned to face Shigaraki.

"Oh come on, you're saying that you don't recognize me…Shiggy?" The man questioned. Upon hearing that nickname, Shigaraki squinted his eyes in suspicion.

"You…" Shigaraki stated as the man just had a smile start to grow on his face.

"That's right! The one and only Blood Stalk! But you can just call me Soichi when I'm out of the business suit." Soichi then turned his attention towards the screen showing the Sports Festival. He then proceeded to scoff in surprise to what he saw on the screen. "I'll be damned. A tie for first place. That's my boy alright!"

"…Your boy?" Shigaraki questioned as soon as he heard the statement. Soichi then turned to him in confidence.

"Oh yeah, did I forget to mention? I helped raised that Sento fellow." He then turned back to the screen focusing on the boy. "I got to admit, he certainly learned to deal with that betrayal quicker than expected."

"…You know him? Scratch that, you raised him?" Kurogiri inquired. Shigaraki then realized something.

"…How do we know that you aren't some kind of double agent?" He questioned. Then was a tense silence in the air. That was until Soichi started to laugh.

"If I were a double agent," He began to say, "This entire place would be swarmed by heroes about now."

"Then you wouldn't mind tell us where he lives. So that way we can pay him a house visit." Shigaraki stated. Soichi gave a small chuckle to the mans' request. He then proceeded to pull out his Transteam Gun and quickly jam it straight into Shigarakis' gut.

"You listen to me and you listen to me good!" Soichi then insisted. "If you as so much as even think about going to hurt him, I will-" The screen suddenly changed to static as a familiar voice suddenly spoke.

"That is enough."

"Master." Shigaraki said as he knelt down to show his obedience. Soichi chuckled in response to this act.

"Huh. You got yourself a true believer, don't you, Mr. Mysterious and Ominous Voice?" Soichi retorted to the voice. "Ah, that doesn't really work. Do you have like a name or something, so that way I don't have to come up with a new nickname every time you come on the television?" The voice simply gave a hearty laugh in response to that question.

"In due time my friend. But as of now, I must ask why exactly you threatened to kill my protégé?" The voice inquired. "We all share a common goal here, so why are you so insistent on that boy, Sento Kiryu wasn't it, was not to be harmed?" Soichi thought about it for a second but he quickly responded with an appropriate response.

"No one's allowed to harm him…Because I'm the only one who gets to do so. Figured if I helped him get to where he is now, it's only right for me to take him out. Now, can we get back to the Festival? Some of us have money on this thing!...Okay, maybe not me, but still."

"…You are a strange man." The mysterious voice concluded. "But very well. But just know that this conversation will continue sometime later." The voice stated as the television turned back to the feed of the Sports Festival. The villains continued to watch as Shigaraki proceeded to move away from Soichi. But the man didn't care as he was too busy watching the screen…and too deep in thought as he wondered what he would be able to accomplish with a protégé of his own.

"A tie. That certainly is surprising." Hawks commented as he watched over the field. "But still, good on them. What do you think about that?" He asked as he turned towards his fellow heroes watching besides him.

"Those two are accepting of their fate…" Crust began to say, before he started to get choked up. "They're going to be great heroes." He then proceeded to run off to the bathroom while crying.

"I must say, the boys with armor clearly have a sense of flashiness." Best Jeanist commented before going after Crust to make sure that he doesn't pass pit from crying too much…Much like last time.

"That boy, Sento Kiryu, he was very quick to try and help his fellow classmates." Ryukyu observed as she watched with a keen eye. "Willing to risk his own position in the race in order to show a modicum of compassion to his fellow competitors is truly admirable and shows great signs of a hero who's willing to work with others."

"Or it shows that he is a damn idiot." A new voice spoke up.

"Oh, here we go." Hawks muttered under his breath as Mirko made her way to the group.

"What? It's a valid criticism!" Mirko insisted as she looked out to the boy in question. "He more than likely wanted to look good for the cameras, so he came up with the idea of being this 'goody two shoes' personality so that way everyone thinks he's the next All Might and get dumb girls who want to say that they slept with a hero." After hearing their comrades' explanation on what she thought of the young hero-in-training, Hawks and Ryukyu just stared at each other with a perplexed look on their faces.

"…Rumi," Ryukyu began to say, "I doubt that's actually the reasoning behind him doing that."

"You don't know that!" She insisted. "You saw the way that he helped that girl with the knockers! He is clearly trying to get in her pants by trying to help her out!"

"Um…How about that Midoriya kid?" Hawks asked, trying his best to steer Mirko away from a rant about teenagers getting into each other's' pants.

"I'm far from impressed by seeing his performance." She commented. "Kid's clearly a powerhouse, but he didn't use that kind of power on the offensive. But he was able to use it for mobility, much like yours truly, so there is some potential if he finds someone to teach him how to do it properly."

"Someone like yourself? After all, the internships are coming up." Ryukyu questioned. Mirko just laughed at the thought of that.

"Fuck no! You know how I feel about the internships, and that's never going to change." She remarked as Ryukyu groaned internally as she somehow knew that was going to be the response from the Rabbit Hero.

"Well, is there at least any student that left some kind of impression on you?" Hawks questioned. "Plus, why do you even come to these events if you never pick anyone to have intern under you?"

"You kidding me?" She quickly retorted. "There's nothing like seeing fighting play out in front of you! You know how much those pay-to-view fights are? I ain't paying for that shit when I can go to this for free!"

"Of course you would give an answer like that." Ryukyu muttered underneath her breath.

"And to answer your other question, there was one kid that I think could go far. That um…What's his name?" Mirko questioned herself. " It started with a B…Banji?"

"Ryuga Banjo." Ryukyu corrected her colleague, as she had heard about him through her ward and had her eye on him for the internship.

"Yeah! Him!" Mirko suddenly shouted. "Certainly got a fighters' attitude if you ask me! Could give a lot of these kids a run for their money!"

"Funny, I would have guess that you would have given some credit to that Bakugo kid." Hawks commented. Mirko scoffed at the comment.

"You kidding? Kid's got a motormouth and a hothead on him. That's definitely going to get him in trouble at some point." She stated. Hawks and Ryukyu stared at each other due to the fact that they couldn't believe the hypocrisy coming from their friend, but they knew it was better to not say anything knowing how she reacted the last time someone called her out on something like that.

The sound of the stadium was deafening. It was honestly a bit too much for Sento to truly handle. The crowds of what seemed to be endless faces that varied overall in ways that he couldn't even describe seemed to be getting the better of him as he started a slight shake in his knees. But he shouldn't have been feeling this way, he got first place…Well, he tied for first place, but it was pretty much the same thing. As the boy scanned the crowd, his eyes fell upon a couple of familiar faces.

"WAY TO GO, SENTO!" Sawa shouted from her seat as she waved a pom-pom around, while Misora was wearing some kind of shirt that he had a hard time reading due to her refusing to move her arms away from her chest. But from what he was able to gleam, it read something about '-ther Is The Best'. He couldn't help but give a small chuckle as he waved up to their position.

"Kind of nerve racking, isn't it?" A voice asked from behind him. Sento turned around and saw Momo walking towards his position.

"Yeah…I don't really do well with being in the spotlight." He found himself admitting to her.

"I'm…Kind of the same way myself." She also confessed, causing Sento to look at her with a curious look. She realized what she had just said and tried her best to change the topic. "I um…Thanks again for the…help with the course."

"Um…" Sento said trying to find the right words. "It was…no problem. Where did you place?"

"Oh, with your help, I managed to get 12th place. Which I feel is a pretty good position if you ask me." Momo said with a slight smile to her face.

"And just like that, our last contestant has crossed the finish line! Marking this as the end of the first event at the U.A. Sports Festival!" Present Mic practically shouted into his microphone, much to Aizawa's annoyance. "And our social media is blowing up! Oh, here's a post from user 'Glamor Girl'! They say, 'This #SportsFestival is like so totally lit! I like, can't even believe how TOTS awesome this is fam!' Well spoken 'Glamor Girl'! What do you think Aizawa?"

"…Was that even a proper sentence?" Was all that Aizawa commented.

"Um…Everyone, prepare for the second event is about to be announced!" Present Mic shouted.

"I think our classmates are waiting for us." Momo stated as she began to walk, signaling that Sento should follow her.

"O-Oh! Yeah, right behind you!" Sento said as he followed her to their classmates. There were murmurs from excitement that they all placed in the top 42, which meant that they got into the second round. Except from the angry grumbling of Bakugo and…

"HOW DID I NOT PLACE AMONG YOU GUYS?!" Mineta shouted in disapproval.

"Maybe it was because you got bounced around by those robots…for what seemed like a while…" Toru muttered to herself. Mineta then pointed to Aoyama, who was currently doubled over due to the overuse of his Quirk.

"Does anyone know where the salle de bains are?" He questioned in an embarrassed voice.

"HOW THE HELL IS HE EVEN IN THE RUNNING FOR THE NEXT EVENT?! I MEAN, COME O-" Mineta was suddenly slapped on the back of the head by Tsuyu and her tongue. She slapped him so hard, that he passed out. Her fellow students looked to the frog girl in a frightful manner.

"What?" She questioned. "He had it coming." The girls uttered in agreement. But before anyone could make any comments, Midnight once again made her presence known to the students as the wheel that showed what the next event would be began to spin.

"Alright, my pretties! Now, do any of you have a clue as to what the next event may be?" She asked to her captive audience. The wheel eventually came to a stop, showing that the next event would be a…

"A Calvary Battle?" Kaminari questioned, letting out a depressed sigh. "Man, I suck at those."

"I wonder how that's going to work." Tsuyu muttered to herself.

"Here's how it's going to work!" Midnight shouted to the audience. "Participants can form teams of two to four people in which every matter they wish to have. Now, there is a cavate to this version of the game. Based on the results of the first event, each of the 42 participants have been given a point value."

"So it's kind of like the Entrance Exam." Sato muttered to himself.

"Oh! So that would then mean that the teams would have different points depending on how the team is made!" Ochaco stated.

"…Okay, now I get it!" Mina said as it took her a second to understand.

"Can you let me finish?!" Midnight shouted as she swiped her whip towards the students, which caused them to immediately shut up. "Anyways, as I was saying! The points assigned go up starting from the very bottom. So 42nd place gets five points, 41st place gets ten points and so on and so on!"

"So does that mean that I get 210 points or 105 points?" Izuku questioned.

"Right because we both tied for 1st place, so do we get a total collective of 420 points or just the 210 points split between the two of us?" Sento pitched in. "Or it could be possible that-"

"And 1st place gets 10,000,000 points!" Midnight suddenly shouted, causing everyone to suddenly stare at the pair of students, who looked like they were deer in headlights.

"…What?" Both of them weakly questioned.

"That's right! And because we have two 1st placers this year, that means each of them has 5,000,000 points!" Midnight exclaimed with a devilish excitement in her voice.

"How is that fair?" Sento meekly asked.

"It's survival of the fittest, dearie!" Midnight responded. "Anyone has a chance to now make it to the top, even though they are at the bottom! Hope you can manage my pretties~!" As the blood thirsty eyes of the remaining participants fell upon the two boys, they quickly realized that everyone would be gunning to take them out of the competition. As soon as that set in, Sento only had one word on his mind.

"…Oh fuck…" Was the only think he could say as knew that shit was about to hit the fan.

Staff Break Room

"A Calvary Battle?" Kamui Woods asked aloud to his fellow members of the security team…and their special guest in the form of the Number 5 Hero.

"Makes sense if you think about it." Death Arms commented as he smoked a cigarette while the group was on break. "It helps those kids get a taste of the real world." The comment seemed to have peaked interest in Mt. Lady.

"Oh? Care to explain a bit more? Also, can you please put that out?" She questioned as she covered her nose and waved away a puff of smoke. Death Arms was about to respond, but Edgeshot quickly clarified what he was about to explain.

"The world of heroes is a very competitive market. There are those that are in it for the glory and the recognition of the public. So they will try their hardest to kick down others and prove themselves to be mighty." Edgeshot calmly explained while he too was becoming a bit annoyed by the smoke.

"Doesn't that just pain your heart? Those poor kids having to show one another up." Mt. Lady commented. Kamui Woods became a bit agitated by that comment.

"That didn't stop you from doing that quite gleefully, remember?" He asked with an annoyed tone.

"However," Edgeshot suddenly said trying to there from being any regrettable words from being thrown around, "even when there are business rivals in the hero world, there are many cases in which they would have to work together in order to complete a common goal." Mt. Lady's eyes widen in realization.

"Oh! Exactly like the Cavalry Battle! If one of the kids win, their team gets to come to the next round with them. They have to think about what would work well with not only their Quirk, but also who exactly would benefit in that kind of situation…Boy, these kids sure have it rough nowadays…" She admitted as she turned her eyes to the screen.

"Yeah, not to mention those kids that got first place will probably have a hard time getting a team together, since they got first place and all that." Kamui Woods added in. "Everyone will be gunning for them and their points."

"No kidding." Death Arms commented as he put out his cigarette. The two went on to talking about some of the villains that they have encountered on their own and how weird some of them have been. Edgeshot was about to join in, but then he noticed how long Mt. Lady had been looking at the screen…And how she had a look of intrigue on her face.

"You alright?" Edgeshot questioned the Heroine. She seemed to be a bit surprised by the question as she turned to look at him.

"Oh, I'm fine." She insisted to the Ninja Hero before turning her eyes back to the screen. Edgeshot followed to where her eyes were looking and became curious as she seemingly looked to one student in particular.

"You thinking about having Kiryu as your intern?" He asked to her. She shook her head in response to that.

"Maybe…But it's not just that." She replied. "I don't exactly know why, but…I feel like I know him from somewhere…" It was a nagging feeling at the back of her head. She knew him, but she wasn't exactly sure where exactly it was though. Perhaps it was a case of mistaken identity, but one thing was certain though…She certainly thinks that his demeanor was kind of cute.

"Oh god, what are we going to do?" Izuku questioned Sento as it was very clear that almost no one wanted to be paired up with them. "Do we pair up together? What am I even saying, that's going to plant and even bigger target on our backs!"

"The only thing that makes sense is to…find our own teams…" Sento said as he made an exaggerated gulp. They awkwardly looked around trying to find people that would even look at them with some sort of sympathy, but there was a rare few that would even look at them. "Um…May the best man win." Sento muttered as he began to look for teammates. Wandering around for a good couple of seconds, he came across Todoroki talking someone who he had hoped to would accept his offer. "M-Momo! Want to be a part of my team?" The girl turned around at the mention of her name.

"O-Oh! Um…" Momo began to reply, but a sudden rush of thoughts came to her. She remembered how she was during the obstacle course, and the weird thoughts that she had about her friend during that. If she paired up with him, would she be too distracted by them to even participate in this event? "Um…Todoroki has already asked me to be a part of his team and…I think I'm going to go with his offer." She admitted.

"I…" Sento began to say, but he really wasn't sure to say to that confession.

"I'm sorry." Momo said as she went with Todoroki to gather the rest of his team.

After hearing that, something inside Sento began to hurt. He was used to rejection, a lot of the girls he had previously found cute all had either rejected his advances or pretended to reciprocate those feelings so that way they could get him to do their homework for them. But this…this was something entirely different. It was as if the world took the thing he wanted the most, took it from him, and spat in his face. Mina saw how he looked really down and was about to rush to his side, until she was suddenly grabbed by the arm.

"Racoon eyes, you're on my team!" Bakugo shouted as he dragged her towards his team consisting of Kirishima and Sero. Sento continued to stare in a dejected manner, until someone slapped him on the back of the head.

"Did you really think you wouldn't ask your best friend to help you out?" Banjo asked in a rather annoyed tone. "Also, as soon as this whole thing is over you got to explain what the hell you were thinking during the obstacle race."

"I…What do you mean?" Sento asked. Banjo let out an exasperated sigh.

"A good portion of the classmates are taking this very seriously, and that little stunt you and Yaoyorozu pulled really ticked them off." Banjo explained. "A good majority of 1-B probably aren't going to help us out." Sento silently cursed himself thanks to his hormones.

"So, who would even go out of their way to help us now?" Sento pondered aloud. Just then he noticed a pair of googles beginning to slowly rise up from behind Banjo.

"Hello, my fellow inventor!" Hatsume exclaimed, causing Banjo to jolt up right and back away as he backed away from the girl.

"Hatsume right?" Sento questioned, to which Hatsume gave finger guns back at the boy.

"That's right…whatever your name is." Hatsume replied.

"Oh! Sento Kiryu, and this is Ryuga Banjo." The boy said, while Banjo was very hesitant about this girl.

"Glad to meet you Bento!" Hatsume responded, causing Sento to suddenly feel a bit dejected.

"…He literally just said his name…And you got it wrong?" Banjo asked.

"No, I think I got it right." Hatsume insisted. "And it's pretty rude to point out other people's flaws, Tanjiro."

"Banjo."

"That's what I said." Hatsume responded, causing the two boys to get into a small huddle.

"What is her problem?" Banjo questioned.

"I'm not sure, but we could use her on team. I mean, look at her tech." Sento insisted, causing the two to break their little huddle. "Sorry about that."

"It's no problem at all!" Hatsume replied in a cheery tone. "Now then, I have a question for you, Santo. I was wondering…"

"Yes?" Sento questioned.

"If you could…"

"Yes?" Banjo questioned

"…Tell me the name of the green haired boy?" She questioned, causing both boys to feel like they got metaphorically punched in the gut. They then looked to where he was located and saw Ochaco talking to him…And him making a weird looking face. They turned back to Hatsume.

"Um…Izuku Midoriya…" Sento responded. Hatsume gave a big smile hearing that.

"Great! Here I come Pazuzu Midori!" She said as she was about to walk over towards him. "Oh!" She said stopping herself and proceeded to give Sento a card that…She already gave him. "We'll be in touch." She proclaimed as she rushed over to Izuku, leaving the two boys stunned.

"….What the hell was that?" Banjo questioned. Sento just shrugged his shoulders.

"I have no idea…Thank you for getting me out of the lab every once in a while." Sento admitted. "Seems like it's just us two."

"I wouldn't say that." A new voice spoke up. The two boys turned around to see Tsuyu and Shoji standing behind them.

"Tsu…Shoji…You guys?" Sento began to ask but finding himself choked up a bit…Not Izuku levels, but still.

"Of course, you're our Class Rep after all." Shoji admitted from his arm mouth. "And Class 1-A always sticks together!"

"Plus, you're our friend." Tsuyu added in. "And we do anything to help our friends." She then gave a warm smile. Sento smiled back. She then gave a small sneeze, causing her team to look at her. "Sorry," She said, "I think I caught something from my little brother."

"It's okay." Sento reassured her. "Alrighty, let's get down to figuring out a strategy." He then said, gathering the team together in a tight circle. "Anyone have any ideas?" After a few seconds of silence, Banjo snapped his fingers.

"I think I got something."

Hosu District

The Kessal Auto Repair Shop has seen better days. Hardly any customers ever came to the said shop, but it didn't matter to their hardest working employees. As the proclaimed 'Boss' of the employees finished fixing up a broken scooter, he looked around to see where the hell his co-workers were. Hearing noise coming from the break room, he wandered over to see what the commotion was all about.

"What are you talking about?!" Masaru complained. "That Bakugo kid is obviously going to win it! But you're too much of an idiot to hear otherwise!"

"No, no, no!" Syoukichi rebutted. "That half and half guy with the ice and fire is going to win. His fire was all 'Fwoosh!' and his Ice was all…whatever sound ice makes. But that Baka-go idiot is a loser!" The calmest of the trio stepped in-between them.

"Gentlemen, let's not get too upset over this."

"SHUT UP SYUUYA!" Both of them screamed, causing the man to back away.

"Oi!" The 'Boss' spoke up, finally having enough of the arguing. The trio stopped what they were doing and stood in a formation. "What the hell is this arguing all about?"

"Um…" Syuuya stepped forward. "The U.A. Sports Festival is currently going on, and these two got a little too heated about who they thought was going to win the current event."

"And my guy is going to win!" Syoukichi exclaimed. Masaru was about to speak up, but quickly didn't when he saw the 'Boss' giving him a glance that told him it wouldn't be a good idea if he did.

"And you guys are doing this instead of doing work?"

"…Boss…What work?" Masaru asked. "Let's be honest, this place barely gets any action. And you aren't really one to talk since you always slack off whenever your idol comes on." The rest of his comrades gave him a nervous look as the 'Boss' just stared at him. After realizing what he had just said, he quickly began to take it back. "That came out harsher than I meant. I-" Masaru was cut off as the 'Boss' began to walk towards him…then right past him as he sat on the couch.

"Alright, who should I bet on?" 'Boss' asked as the Trio sat down right next to him.

"That Todoroki guy!" Syoukichi exclaimed with delight.

"No, that Bakugo kid." Masaru shot back. And that once again started the argument between the two.

"Are all our contestants ready?" Midnight cried out as the teams got into position.

"Hey, wake up Eraser!" Mic shouted, causing Aizawa to wake up from his desired nap. "The second event is about to begin. Aizawa looked down to the field.

"Huh. Pretty interesting team ups down there." He commented.

"Get your battle cries ready! It's time for the bloodshed!" Present Mic exclaimed. Aizawa looked at him with an eyebrow cocked.

"Um…There's not going to be any blood-" He began to say, but the R-Rated Hero cut him off.

"START!" Midnight called out, causing the students to charge towards each other. Tetsutetsu's team started to rush towards Izuku's team. The combined efforts of Izuku, Ochaco, Tokoyami, and Hatsume tried to jump out of the way, but thanks to the Quirk of one Juzo Honenuki, they began to sink into the ground.

"Nice job!" Tetsutetsu called down to his teammate. His team started to rush towards the now helpless team. "Those points are as good as ours!"

"Now!" Hatsume shouted, causing Izuku to push a button, which then in turn activated his jetpack that was given to him. This, with the combination of Ochaco's Quirk, caused the team to start floating. Hagakure saw this and wasn't going to let those points escape.

"Jiro!" She called out to her teammate. Jiro nodded in response.

"On it!" She called out as her jacks started flying to the team. Tokoyami proceeded to use Dark Shadow to block the attack. "Damn it!" She called out in response to her attack failing. She then noticed something fly past her face and go straight for Hagakure's headband.

"Hey!" She called out as her headband was taking away from her. The robot dragon flew around in a circle, to show some type of superiority as it flew back into the safety of Shoji's arms dome.

"Good job little buddy!" Banjo called out as he took the headband from his robotic dragon friend. Tsu smiled at the little dragon.

"It's cute." She replied as the dragon once again flew out into the battlefield.

"Thanks!" Sento called back as he used his OctopusTank form to scan for possible opportunities to try and steal points. "How are you holding up Shoji?"

"I can take the weight!" He said, but Sento could detect the slightest hint of strain in his voice.

"GET OVER HERE, DEKU!" Bakugo shouted as he used his Quirk to fly toward Izuku, ready to set off an explosion in his face. Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to block the attack, but he could feel pain as the light of the explosion hit his Quirk buddy. Bakugo was then wrapped up in tape as Sero brought him back to the safety of the team before he could hit the ground.

"Guys!" Banjo called out as he noticed some vines slowly reaching up to Sento's head. Reacting quickly, Sento used his tank foot to spin the tank tread super-fast and kicked the vines. They seemed to react as they got hit by a weed whacker and retreated back to Ibara. Seeing a chance, Sento used his tentacles to try and reach out for her points.

"Don't think so!" Kendo shouted as she grew her hand and captured the tentacles. "Sorry, got to look out for my class!" She cried out as tried to pull on the tentacles. Shoji resisted hard as he tried to not move, sweat starting to increase on his brow. Tsuyu then shot her tongue out successfully brought the headband back to her team.

"Nice try!" Banjo called out as Dragon swooped down to rescue his owner by shooting out a small amount of fire. Kendo, realizing the danger she now faced, let the tentacles go and they shot back to safety. Shoji rushed forward to Izuku's team but found himself not being able to move as he looked down to his feet and found them to be frozen. He looked around and saw other teams were in the same predicament…And how slowly one by one, they were starting to get electrocuted.

"Sento, you better have something for this!" He called out. Seeing what he meant, Sento quickly switched out the Tank fullbottle for the Light fullbottle.

OCTOPUS! LIGHT!

BEST MATCH!

He turned the lever faster than he ever had.

ARE YOU READY!

"Yeah, sure!" Sento yelled out, causing the form to change.

THE FLASHING TECHNICIAN!

OCTOPUSLIGHT!

YEAH!

Shooting his left hand out, Sento began to absorb the electricity being shot towards their way.

"Man, that guy just have everything up his sleeve, huh?" Kaminari admitted to his teammates.

"I expected nothing less from our Class Representative!" Tenya exclaimed. Momo kept her mouth shut, but she was kind of glad that he had something to counter their attack. Todoroki gritted his teeth.

"It doesn't matter!" He shouted as he stared at his target. "Get Midoriya!" Hearing that, Kaminari shot electricity at the team. Dark Shadow once again tried its best to stop the attack, but that didn't stop some small bolts from striking Hatsumes' equipment.

"My babies!" She cried out in pain as if she could feel their pain. Dark Shadow tried to strike back, but it a brick wall…Or something close to that, as Momo had created a small stone shield to protect them from the attack.

"ONE MINUTE REMAINS!" Present Mic called out, causing the teams to start push back for the last time.

"Iida, now!" Todoroki shouted. Hearing that, Tenya engines started flare up.

"Recipro…BURST!" He shouted as he and his team shot forward like a ball out of a cannon. Barely recognizing it, Izuku realized that his headband had been stolen from him. Tenya's engines started to stall, causing his team to come to a complete stand still.

"Get our points back!" Ochaco shouted. Hearing that, Izuku fired up One for All in his arm, and proceeded to force his team to charge at the immobile team. Seeing them coming, Todoroki unintentionally let up his left side to use for defense. Izuku used his Quirk to slice through the air, which proved to be effective as it took out Todoroki's defense. He reached out for the headband that he believed to his original headband and pulled it back to him.

"THAT'S ONLY 70 POINTS!" Hatsume cried out. Realizing his mistake, Izuku tried his best to make one final attempt to get those points back. That's when he heard an explosion careening towards them.

"DEKU!" Bakugo shouted as his team came charging towards them. But before anything could happen, Bakugo's team found themselves being wrapped up in tentacles.

"I don't think so!" Sento shouted as Shoji unwrapped his arms, showing off his magenta and yellow form and his teammates. Bakugo tried his best to untangle himself as Todoroki and Izuku were about to clash.

"TIME'S UP!" Present Mic shouted, causing the teens to stumble as they heard that. "AND JUST LIKE THAT, THE SECOND EVENT IS OVER! NOW THEN, LET'S LOOK AT OUR TEAMS AND WHO GOT WHAT PLACE! IN FIRST PLACE, IT'S…TEAM TODOROKI!"

"I'm sorry that my efforts left us exposed in the last stretch of that round!" Tenya apologized to his team. Momo was quick to stop him before he could say anything else.

"Don't apologize." She said. "It was your special attack that got us here in the first place. Hearing that, Tenya's confidence thought about it and proceeded to smile.

"I guess you are right about that. No wonder you are our Vice Representative, I am glad that you are Yaoyorozu!" He said as he bowed to her. As she tried to calm him down, Todoroki glanced down at his left arm and silently cursed himself. He used his cursed side. He glanced up to a certain section of the stadium, staring in hate at the certain man standing there.

"IN SECOND PLACE, TEAM KIRYU!"

Hearing that, the team was a bit in shock as they realized that they won the event…That was until Shoji dropped to one knee, and they rushed to see if he was alright.

"IN THIRD PLACE, WE HAVE…TEAM BAKUGO!"

"Alright!" Mina cheered in delight, high fiving Kirishima and Sero.

"That's what I'm talking about! We made it Bakubro!" Kirishima shouted as he looked to the team captain…who was currently screaming at the ground.

"AND IN FOURTH PLACE, IT'S…TEAM MIDORIYA!"

Hearing that, Izuku became confused at the announcement.

"I thought that we only got 70 points." He admitted.

"We did…" Tokoyami said, as Dark Shadow rose up behind him with two headbands in his mouth. "But that was before we got us the win." Dark Shadow exclaimed as he gave a small thumbs up. Ochaco cheered in excitement.

"We did it Deku!" She said as she hugged him. Feeling intense happiness, Izuku began to cry…so hard that his body shifted into the ground.

"Oh, I wonder if that's a secondary Quirk!" Hatsume stated as she stared at the boy and his waterworks.

"Um…We'll be taking a quick break to let the students get over the excitement of just winning!" Present Mic said. "What was the best part of the event? Let us know using the #-"

"Can we stop trying to push that?" Aizawa suddenly spoke up. "They already have a main one, we don't need fifteen to make our point!"

"…Fine, be like that." Mic pouted. Sento and Banjo helped brought Shoji to his feet.

"You okay?" Banjo asked. Shoji looked a bit guilty.

"Sorry, I guess I overworked my body while training and the weight of you guys just pushed it to the limit." Shoji admitted.

"Don't worry about it." Sento reassured his classmate. "You helped us out and you'll be a winner in our books!" He said as he gave a thumbs up. "Now then, let's get you to Recovery Girl." He then felt Tsuyu tug on his jacket.

"I think I need to go as well." She said while holding her stomach. "My little brother got something over the weekend, and I think I got it as well." Hearing that, Sento then looked to Banjo, who just shrugged his shoulders.

"It can only go up from here, can't it?" He questioned.

Elsewhere…

To the world, it just looked like an abandoned warehouse. But if they had managed to get inside, past the many different security measures, they would come across the hideout of one of the most notorious thieves of modern hero society. Said thief was busy as she sat in front of a table trying to fix one of her gauntlets.

It got damaged during a B&E last week. She should have saw the guard coming, but she didn't have eyes on the back of her head. He had managed to strike her arm with his baton but after that…He went down fast. As she put the tools down, she took a look at her handiwork. Pressing a button on the gauntlet, she breathed a sigh of relief as the stealth tech that was a part of her suit remained intact as it turned invisible. Know that her work for the day was over with. She got up and headed for the couch. She needed a break. Turning on the TV, she started flipping through the channels until she tuned to the U.A. Sports Festival.

As of right now, it was playing previous moments from the events. It was a shame as she would have liked to see them, but the tech came first. As the replays continued, she had noticed something. Rewinding the scene, she noticed two particular students…Both of them wearing similar looking armor. One with a Panda and Rocket motif, while the other had a dragon motif. Fast forwarding to where it showed their names. And she got them.

Sento Kiryu and Banjo Ryuga.

The armor they were wearing, it was exactly the same that Takumi Katsuragi designed. As she put the gauntlet back with the rest of her suit, she knew that there was finally a new lead in her case to find the lost scientist. Gazing over the suit, she knew what she had to do.

It was time for them to meet The Prodigal Thief: Night Stalker.

Happy 1 Year Anniversary!

Sorry I haven't uploaded to the fic in a couple of months. There was drama between my roommates that I won't describe to you guys but let's just say it wasn't pretty. It left me in a bad place and I needed sometime to try to get back into the right mindset to come back to the fic.

But I don't want to focus on the negatives, I want to focus on the positives. The story is now a part of the Crossover section of the FanficRecs category of TVTropes, which is awesome! Can't wait until I get the fic to have it's own TVTropes page! And this also marks the 1 year anniversary of when the story was first uploaded to the site, and I wasn't going to miss that!

And before we get to preview for the next chapter, I want to show my appreciation to you all for waiting for the next chapter. And that is a little trailer for another project that I plan to do in the future...Without any further ado...

The Marvelous

It was way past dark out. But he didn't care, he had someone to see. Gazing upon the mural, he couldn't help but feel regret for the fact that the world just lost its hero.

"Um…Hi Mr. Stark." The young man started to say. "I know that we never got to meet each other but…You were always one of my heroes. And I know that you wanted to leave this world in a much better place. But…there are those that wish to twist your dream into something darker. And I…I wish to protect that dream of yours. But not as the next Iron Man. I'll be something different, something that the world has forgotten." The young man then struck a pose revealing a device on his waist and he uttered a word.

"Henshin." The Typhoon then started to spin fast. A black and green suit then formed around the man, until a helmet with glowing red eyes covered his face. Now, the new hero stood before the mural of Iron Man, ready to live up to the promise that he just made. "I'll make you proud." He said, as Kamen Rider Neo-Ichigo walked off into the night, scarf bellowing in the wind.

The Heroes Time Forgot

An MCU/Kamen Rider Crossover

That's right! I plan to do an MCU/Kamen Rider Crossover story, focusing on the fallout of Endgame and the Rebirth of the Showa Riders! With all new characters, characters that have yet to be introduced into the MCU, alternate universe versions of those characters, and much more! I don't have a set date for the project, but it should be around the time this story ends. Like I said, it's something to show how much I appreciate everyone. Not just the followers or those you favorited the story, but those who have pointed out the flaws and have let me tighten up my written abilities. From the bottom of my heart...Thank you.

Now then...

Next time on Hero of Love & Peace: The next event is about to start, a fighting tournament that will lead the world on the edge of their seat! Who will win? Who will lose? What is going to bring the two Class Representatives closer together? What is going on in Hosu? And just who exactly is this brand new character using the name of Night Stalker? Tune in and find out!

God, I missed doing that!
