Ketchum Pack
Chapter 2 Poke a Pal?
The Murkrows were drawn to Raku Ichijo's locket and wanted to take it. Jin Mazama defended with his Lycanroc and his Pikachu, while Raku Ichijo tried to shoo them off. The locket fell off from Raku Ichijo's neck and he tried to retrieve it, he saw that Bellsprout was being attacked by the Murkrows. Raku Ichijo protected Bellsprout, when he had a hard time to decide whether to get his locket or protect Bellsprout. One of the Murkrows almost took the locket away, until Bellsprout caught it with vine whip and gave it by to Raku Ichijo. Soon the Murkrows were driven away by Jin Mazama's Lycanroc, Pikachu and Bellsprout.
Raku Ichijo looked at Bellsprout and decided to take Bellsprout as his partner. Jin Mazama gave Raku Ichijo a Pokeball and caught Bellsprout, so Raku Ichijo made a new partner and a friend in his Bellsprout. He walked with it with Jin Mazama and his Pokémon.
On their way to find Ash Ketchum with his Pikachu, Raku Ichijo and Jin Mazama continued to talk about their adventures with Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu. Raku Ichijo first conversed with Jin Mazama that he met Ash Ketchum with his pal Pikachu when he was hitched with other anime harem male protagonists by them, Stitch, Merida and Moana. It was Ash Ketchum with his Pikachu who taught Raku Ichijo and other anime harem male protagonists to train Stitch and his cousins by taking them on a journey. Raku Ichijo continued to say to Jin Mazama that though when they were training Stitch and his cousins they found out a dark truth and that somehow the girls found them.
Raku Ichijo had a chance of a lifetime to leave and going on the journey with Stitch, his cousins, and the other anime harem male protagonists, but it was Chitoge Kirisaki who got hurt and cried from the chase, and so he decided to return to his dimensional world.
Then Jin Mazama talked to Raku Ichijo about his adventures with Ash Ketchum with his Pikachu. He met Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu as he was turned into a Pokémon Pikachu. After he passed his trial, he had a chance to return to Seton Academy, but he decided to remain in Pokémon to go on his journey with Lycanroc and his Pokémon.
Soon after they were done telling their stories to each other, Raku Ichijo and Jin Mazama started to argue about animals. They argued to each other that Jin Mazama should have still be nice to the animals, even though they didn't like him, and that Raku Ichijo should have dumped Chitoge Kirisaki for Kosaki Onodera.
Raku Ichijo and Jin Mazama settled their argument with a Pokémon battle. Jin Mazama chose Lycanroc, while Raku Ichijo who did not have any other Pokémon chose Bellsprout to battle with Jin Mazama's Lycanroc. But then, Raku Ichijo realized he didn't know much about his Bellsprout, its moves, nor anything about Pokémon battle, so the battle was put on halt. Jin Mazama lended his Pokedex to Raku Ichijo and he taught him about Pokémon battle that he sort of learned from Ash Ketchum.
Jin Mazama taught Raku Ichijo about Pokémon for a while. But after that, Raku Ichijo and Jin Mazama returned to find Ash Ketchum with his Pikachu. Raku Ichijo and Jin Mazama argument wasn't settled, so they made a deal that once they found Ash Ketchum they would depart from each other, and Raku Ichijo would return back to his dimensional world. They both agreed to it, but Jin Mazama mentioned to Raku Ichijo that he needed to get started being as a Pokémon Trainer. Jin Mazama proved his point, that if Raku Ichijo wanted to find Ash Ketchum he must first become a Pokémon Trainer.
Raku Ichijo wasn't sure about it. But in order to find Ash Ketchum with his Pikachu, he took in Jin Mazama's suggestion. So they traveled with their Pokémon to go to the nearest Pokémon laboratory to get Raku Ichijo ready to be a Pokémon Trainer. When they were in the Pokémon laboratory, they were greeted by a Pokémon Professor. Raku Ichijo picked up all the things need to be a Pokémon Trainer. He got his Pokeballs, Pokedex and some other things, then he began his training with Bellsprout with Jin Mazama and his Pokémon.
Once Raku Ichijo was set to being a trainer, he wanted to battle Jin Mazama to resolve their argument. Jin Mazama agreed to it, and started on a one on one Pokémon battle. Raku Ichijo chose his Bellsprout, while Jin Mazama chose his Lycanroc. Bellsprout was a dual Grass and Poison type. The grass type Pokémon had an advantage over a rock type Pokémon like Lycanroc, but Jin Mazama was going with trusting his partner than a type advantage.
