Tearing Time
o.O.o
I have absolutely no idea where this came from, but it popped into my head and I had to write before I lost track of what I wanted to put down.
It's short, but I hope you all enjoy!

It hurts to see them go down, one by one, time and time again while protecting her.
At first, she could save her closest friend, her brother in all but name, a surrogate brother who proved to be even closer than a friend who had drifted apart after they earned their rewards in Britain. This prompted her move to The States where she met them.
Aaron and Jack Hotchner, who were grieving their wife and mother respectively.
It didn't take long for Hermione to be introduced to the rest of Aaron's colleagues.
Colleagues who were scattered across the tragedy that had unexpectedly struck their town.
Going back again, she could no longer save her brother, but, after more observation, she could save her cousin, Emily. It was Emily who could finally save Aaron when she insisted on going back with Hermione, and the three of them tore through time again and again in an effort to save their friends.
Hermione knew their next turn would have to be their last before MACUSA caught onto the illegal use of a time turner and traced the tendrils of altered lines back to her.
They took longer to plan their next turn.
They took the time to influence events around their last hours.
They made haste to step in when it seemed as though Hermione and Spencer would not be shopping for a wedding cake five hours from the time the unhinged unsub would not fail in ripping out the BAU's heart and faithful friend.
It was odd when time caught up to both Hermiones.
There were theories that had been broken if your past self looked upon your future self. Hermione, Aaron, and Emily had proved those theories false their last six turns, and gloriously merged with themselves on their seventh in a display of golden wisps.
That should have definitely caught the attention of MACUSA.
Hermione hastily gathered her friends and their families in her charmed safehouse in New Hampshire.
"Magic exists," Spencer said to her when they found a moment of privacy from the chaos of the revelation of magic to the rest of the BAU team and the knowledge that magic and a time turner had saved their lives.
"I wish I could have told you before, but, there are laws that prevented me," Hermione replied.
He waved away her reply with an excited gleam in his eyes that made her heart skip and beat faster.
"We can't hide here forever," Aaron interrupted all their conversations while Jack avidly watched Hermione's moving photographs.
"We can't," Hermione agreed, "…at least not in this universe."
"Are we now going to traverse universes?" Rossi asked as his head rested atop his knuckles and his dark eyes watched Hermione and Spencer. "How will you accomplish this feat?"
"With a certain artefact that was entrusted to me by my former Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore," Hermione replied. "For those who only wish to glance into this mirror," she said as she opened a camouflaged door to the left of the entrance hall, "they will merely see their deepest wish." Her heart clenched as she though of Harry. "For those who know what the mirror can truly do, those who can look past their deepest desire, the Mirror of Erised will act as a doorway into another universe," she explained as she pressed the tip of her wand into her opposite hand.
"Your emergency bags are just there." Hermione motioned to several bags lined up to the right of the mirror. "They were charmed with undetectable extension charms and hold everything, including a kitchen sink."
"You've had to run before, baby girl?" Morgan knowingly asked.
Hermione glanced at Spencer and nodded.
"I want to know more once we escape this American Ministry of Magic," Spencer said.
"We all do," Emily said sternly, "but I think right now we should get a move on," she said as Hermione shivered.
"They are testing the wards, grab a bag and go," Hermione said to them as she pressed her bleeding hand into the word Erised. "Go, hurry now!" She urged as she pushed Emily through first, the rest followed until it was her and Spencer left.
"Together," he said as he grasped her wrist.
"Together," Hermione replied as she stepped through with him with her opposite hand still pressed to the engraved word.
They paused at the chaos surrounding the room they had entered, along with the mirror Hermione had successfully brought along with them.
"What the…" Garcia paused to gape and watch.
"Are those aliens?" JJ asked.
"Aliens? Cool!" Jack shouted as he rushed toward a window.
"We're in New York and aliens are destroying the city." Aaron frowned at Hermione.
"I call next universe," Rossi voted.
"You have my vote," JJ said.
"Damn," Morgan said. "Can we at least explore?" He asked.
"No!" Most of the team answered.
To be fair, most of them were still traumatised from their several deaths only a few hours ago.
"Will you join me in the next universe?" Spencer said to Hermione as the team hurried through.
"Most definitely," Hermione agreed with a small smile as he embraced her and they stepped through together.
