Jaron's POV

"Blah blah blah, don't forget blah blah, blah, and blah." One of my regents went on and on about why we shouldn't go to the Avenian shore. While I was half-tuning everything out, my mind was on Imogen. I couldn't wait for this meeting to end, so I could love her. Her lips against mine, her arms around my neck, her on me, her dark brown hair falling down, her hands through my hair.

I started to slightly smile, "King Jaron! Are you even paying attention to the dangers of this?" Sir Quinton said. I could feel Roden's eyes on me, probably amused and knew what I was thinking about.

"You were talking about the dangerous sea creatures that live in the ocean, people who hate me, and Avenia in general." I said cooly with a hint of an annoyed tone. I eyed Roden.

"No, I was talking about Avenian thieves and pirates who control the shores! You better start paying attention young.." He said, but was very quiet on the last part as I stood up.

"You will not speak to me that way is that understood? The thieves know me, and the pirates, I am their king. We won a war against them and are allies, so shut your mouth. Is that clear?" I leaned over the table slightly, to let him know that I was in charge here.

"Yes, yes your majesty." He tilted his head down in shame.

"Good. Lord Kerwyn, continue the presentation." I sat back down.

"Thank you King Jaron. You see, though there are dangers to this journey, he will be protected by guards. If measures come to close, then the pirates will protect their king. The king will be protected, during every situation, he will not get hurt." Kerwyn said.

There were a lot more blah blah blahs but finally the meeting was over. We found a place to stay and such. I was down the hallway, most of the regents going their own ways when I remembered I needed to ask Kerwyn a question. I walked to the room but heard voices.

"Why do we need to send her away? I mean, it just isn't right." One of the regents said, I couldn't tell who.

"I just feel like Lady Imogen is distracting Jaron from his duties." Sir Quinton said.

"It's not necessary. Jaron loves Imogen, and the other way around, we can't take that away!" The regent went again, I liked this guy, he was sane.

"She is distracting the king, and we don't want that. Here, we tell Imogen that Jaron needs time away from her, then she'll go and the problem will be solved."Quinton went again.

"I don't think that's.." The regent said but was interrupted by me barging in.

"Your majesty, how may I help you." Sir Quinton asked politely.

"You think she is distracting me? How dare you say such a thing about Lady Imogen!" I said while backing him up to a corner. "She is the only person that can keep me sane around here so if she leaves you'll be dead before you can say forgive me." I said sternly.

"King Jaron, I'm sorry, but I just thought that you would be better off without her…" He quietly said.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Castle. Or. I. Will. Have. Your. Head." I yelled. He ran as fast as Tobias, which was slow. I turned to face the other regent and shot him a glare. I exited the room without another word. I was mad, but I cooled down when I approached my room. I changed into lounge wear and laid on the bed for a while and wrote in my journal until Imogen came. I got up and walked towards her while she closed the door.

"Long day?" She asked, noticing that I was tired and probably still mad. She wrapped her arms around my neck and pressed our foreheads together.

"You have no idea." I said quietly before kissing her.

Ever since the war life has just been better. Tobias and Amarinda are together, Roden and Harlowe have been catching up, and I'm with Imogen. I wasn't kidding when I said that she was the only person who could keep me sane. She's the person who I fight for everyday. No matter what, I will keep fighting for her. Her arms tightened and she started running her fingers through my hair as I picked her up. She has been a lot more romantic lately. It's not a bad thing, but ever since I proposed to her, she has been more open to my ideas and such. I started walking towards the bed and set her down, me on top of her. She started biting her lip and then drew in. We went on, and then went to sleep. It wasn't night, though it was approaching the evening. Imogen curled up and fell asleep, but you know me, I can't sleep. I wrote in my journal, if she ever ends up reading this, I hope she finds this:

My light, my life, my love

I'll spare your life for mine

I'll bare every burden that you have

I will take care of it for you

As precious as a dove

My hands in your hair so fine

I love when you chuckle and laugh

And I hope that you love me too

I hope you see my love

I want to see your smile shine

I want to marry you

Imogen, I truly love you

I went to sleep after kissing Imogen's forehead.

Imogen's POV (Her POV here is gonna be short)

Jaron started kissing my neck and then slid one side of my dress off my shoulder.

Jaron stop! I said. He slid the other side off now.

Jaron stop! I yelled as his kisses went down to my breast area.

Jaron stop! I cried, tears streaming down my eyes as he continued.

Jaron please! Stop! I yelled and then looked into his eyes. They were blue. This wasn't Jaron, this was William. Of course it was William, Jaron would never do such a thing without my permission. Will would do such a thing though, and he was doing it again.

Will stop! Stop I beg you, PLEASE! I was screaming now.
