Jaron's POV

I woke up to see Imogen shaking uncontrollably. I stepped back, hoping it would stop, but it didn't. I checked her pulse, it was beating fast. She mumbled please and stop.

"Imogen!" I said, hoping to awake her.

"Imogen! Wake up!" I yelled while I shook her shoulders.

"Imogen please wake up baby, wake up!" I was begging with her. I picked her up bridal style and ran out of the room. Imogen was still shaking, her head was hanging down. It was like she was limp.

"HELP!" I yelled, running towards the hall. "Someone! HELP!" I yelled again. Mott was walking with Roden along the hall and then paused when he saw me.

"What's happened?" Mott said, concerned.

"I don't know! I woke up and she was shaking!" I yelled in panic.

He gestured for me to give her to him, "I'll take her to the medical department, go get Tobias Roden, Jaron go with him!" He said and started running off with Imogen in his arms. I started walking after him but Roden grabbed my arm and pulled me the other way. I sighed and ran to Tobias with Roden.

When we approached Tobias's and Amarinda's room I heard shouting. Amarinda was cry-screaming and Tobias was getting frustrated. Roden stopped at the door but I barged in startling Amarinda and Tobias.

"Jaron! You can't just barge in!" Amarinda yelled, Tobias nodded.

"Tobias, get to the medical department now!" I said, and got a questioning look from both of them, so I said, "Just...please go now! My future wife's life depends on it."Tobias's eyes went big and he ran out of the room. Amarinda just stood there and stared down, then clenched her fists.

"What did you do Jaron?" She said coldly, looking at the floor.

"What?" I said in anger, "I did nothing, I just woke up and she was shaking!"

"Uh-huh, you always hurt Imogen, even if you don't see it. What did you do, answer me truthfully!" She was glaring at me.

Roden walked in, shoulders back, "You will not speak to the king that way. He speaks the truth Amarinda, don't doubt."

"This is not your conversation Roden! Now, I'm going to see Imogen, out of my way." She started walking but was stopped by me.

"You don't give orders. You are going to stay here and you are going to be quiet. I will be seeing Imogen, and I'll send news." I gently pushed her away. She flinched signaling that if she could, she would kill me.

She whispered under her breath, "Imogen is hurt because of you. She doesn't even love you, she just serves the king." then turned and walked into the dressing room. I grabbed Roden by the arm and pulled him behind me.

"What just happened there?" Roden asked, taking my hold on him off.

Breathe, "Amarinda decided to blame it on me and so I gave her a piece of my mind." I turned and tried to look as peaceful as possible.

"That wasn't a piece of your mind Jaron. What did she say at the end?"

"She said," There was a faint scream in the distance. "-Imogen." I breathlessly said and started running.

I came to a halt at the door. I didn't know why, but something just, stopped me. What's happening in there? What were they doing to Imogen? What were they doing to Imogen? I opened the doors with force. Tobias was on one side of the room staring at Imogen, trying to get closer. Imogen was on the other side of the room, backed up against the wall. Her legs were shaking but she managed to stand. She looked at me in fear and backed up more in the corner. When I took a step forward she fell down. The tears that were almost dry were taken over by new ones, wetting her entire face.

"Tobias what did you do?" I shifted my gaze to him.

"I didn't do anything. She woke up and fell off the medical bed, it's like she can't even recognize me."

I started to walk towards Imogen when she faintly said, "Get away, Will, get away." She tried to back into the wall more but she was as far as she could go.

"Honey, it's me. Imogen are you okay?" I stepped forward slightly.

"Get away Will, get away." She said tears coming out of her eyes. Tobias was right, it was like she didn't even recognize us.

I started walking toward her again. She hugged her knees and buried her face in them. She shyly looked up and met my eyes.

"Th-the-they're green." She said. Her legs weren't scrunched up, instead they were on the ground, princess style.

I leaned closer to her but she backed away again, "Get aw-away from m-me." She stuttered. I noticed her legs were still shaking a little. "Wi-Will go away."

"Imogen. I don't know who you are talking about. Whoever 'Will' is, he's not here, he can't hurt you." I said, daring to inch closer.

"Yo-You are.." Her shaking hand lifted up slowly, pointing at me.

I pointed at myself, "Imogen it's me baby, Jaron." I had Tobias excused from the room. Her eyes started pouring with tears. I sat behind her, her between my legs. I wrapped my arms around her and she held them tight. She turned and buried her face in my shirt.

She sobbed more and more, "I-I'm so sorry!" She said during her cries. I stroked her hair and kissed her forehead.

"Imogen are you all right?" I asked, holding her shoulders, looking into her eyes searching for an answer.

She looked away and then said, "No, I'm not." I could see her fighting back tears.

"Will you talk to me about it?" I asked again.

She didn't answer for a while, "...tomorrow, I'll tell you about it tomorrow."
