Situation: Conrad discovers Joy is pregnant
Conrad's p.o.v
Joy exits the bathroom bearing a positive pregnancy test. "I am pregnant. We are going to have a baby" she announces joyfully. "Your family has heart issues. Are you afraid that our son or daughter will have a heart defect?" I stress. "I am carrying your baby. You are supposed to be happy. You shouldn't bring up my family history at this moment" Joy argues. I pull her in close for a tight bear hug. "I am looking forward to becoming a father. Apart of me worries something bad may happen to you or the baby" I admit. "Conrad, I appreciate your honesty and your concerns. There is a chance that our son or daughter may be born with a heart defect. We should choose life and love no matter what" my wife encourages me.
