Disclaimer: Tite Kubo is the author of the popular manga/anime series and has complete ownership of all official Bleach characters. I do not own anything that is mentioned as a crossover cameo from anime, manga, video games, music, TV shows, movies, or otherwise. The only thing I own from this collection story is any/all Original Characters, plots, drabbles, etcetera. I only own my characters Sekai and Rin Ishtal.
Author's Note: I have three Harry Potter collection fics, one Vocaloid collection fic, and three Naruto collection fics. Getting more into Bleach through either HP or Naruto, I thought I should make a Bleach collection fic to add incase I get any Bleach-y ideas or randomness popping into my head. I hope to have new folks flocking to this, and in term, my other stories that need desperate life shocked back into their plotlines again. If you got any requests for something like short ideas, just tell me in a PM or in your review.
The Gates of Hell's Smaller Doors
"So, what are we doing here again?"
"Dante, rumors report of a person who's trying to open the gates of hell to acquire an ancient demon's power sealed away a long time ago here in Feudal Japan. If whoever is trying this completes his or her objective, the world is in danger. Besides, Morrison told me you were the best when it comes to handling demons with "Threaten the World" status."
The silver-haired young man shrugs briefly.
"They say the gates of hell are very different when you differ from country to country. One time when I was a child I saw the gates of hell open up in the night sky with large chained skeleton torsos fused to ornamental-crafted doors with a sword piercing through an opening and closing crack, stabbing at what looked like a black demon with a hole in its chest."
"Interesting. Never came across hell doors like that before," said Dante as they kept driving towards the growing source of demonic power. They were close. But Dante knew that the bad guy would always be able to get the upper hand on the good guys. This always seems to happen. Of course that also meant Dante could have more fun beating the shit out of whatever demon asshole decides to come to Earth.
Of course they weren't the only ones, to most humans; invisible humans were dashing in the air racing towards the surge of demon energy. They were known as Soul Reapers. Soul Society has detected an increasing surge of energy and they had determined that the energy was coming from hell itself. It was only just half a month since hell almost destroyed the world, and the all-time big villain of that escapade had been stopped and (thanks to Ichigo's bravery) having resealed the one responsible into the depths of hell for eternity.
And now hell looked like it was going to break into the World of the Living yet again.
At the zero point location of the surge, there were people clad in all black robes and hoods, clad in the jewelry of ancient druids. The flames that were lit were positioned in a very specific pattern as their chants grew with each thrum of power. The person in the center of the group had pale skin and pointed ears, wearing a slate blue business suit with blood red tie with the clip of a horned skull on it. His hair was long and smooth, a slick black color and has a greasy appearance. Possibly it was hair gel. Black dancer shoes and a strange wicked-looking sword are sheathed at his left hip.
The chants end as the roar of a motorbike is heard and the druids scatter to his side as the fabled Devil Hunter from America appeared.
"Ahh, Dante-san, Sekai-san, it is too late. We have cracked the gate and the Demon Lord Ashtar will arise from hell once again and bathe the planet in eternal darkness."
The ground begins to quake, punctuating this point as flames explode up in twin pillars before solidifying into bloody crystal. Energy forms in the center, forming a solid bronze door with golden hieroglyphics of demonic origin spreading on its surface.
"You knew this was going to happen, huh?"
Dante grins, twirling Ebony and Ivory. "Yeah. Bad guys always seem to have the upper hand on us good guys. But we always win in the end. This only means I can have fun kicking ass."
The sharply-dressed man cackles. "How uncouth you are, Dante-san. Ashtar is no ordinary Demon Lord. And there is nothing you and Ishtal there can do to prevent his emergence!"
"I'd beg to differ!" Dante yells, opening fire on the druids. The man easily vanishes in a plume of purple smoke evading the hailstorm of demonically-charged bullets. The druids were torn by the bullets before they explode, growing larger and muscular, with claws, blue or red skin, horns, and snarling fangs with glowing yellow eyes. The demon orcs dressed in the tattered rags of their druid clothing charge Dante and Sekai whom fearlessly take them on with their blades.
Somewhere within the five minutes of Dante and Sekai pretty much two-man army-ing the demon orcs into death's embrace, the head honcho of this entire mess steps down from his safety zone and withdraws that sword at his side.
"The Sword of Chaos... the instrument of the demise of the humans... And Lord Ashtar would gladly reward me for my services into his resurrection."
Dante twirled the Rebellion twice in his hand, while Sekai was armed with this trusted Spirals. One is large and the shape of a khyber knife, with a leather cushioned grip at the base of the blade and a handle extending back from this about roughly the width and length of Sekai's forearm. There is a thin, hollowed-out portion running along the back edge of the blade from the base to the middle of the blade. The second blade is relatively small, about the size of Sekai's arm, and is similar to the first blade, but resembles a trench knife more than a sword. Unlike its counterpart, it has an enclosed handle, a portion of it acting like a hand guard.
"So, before we kill you... what's your name? You obviously can't be human," said Sekai.
The man chuckles amusingly.
"My name...? It's a very simple name." The man swipes the air before him with the blade, its crystal taking on a purplish glow. "Kuro."
He slices the blade, releasing fireballs that glow purple. The two demon hunters run from their trajectory, rushing at the evil demon swordsman.
But before weapons can clash, all three have jump out of the path of what was a lightning bolt striking the ground with intensity. Dante and Sekai on one side, Kuro on the other as the gate continued to pulse with power. All three glanced to the source of the thunderbolt and to their surprise were people wearing similar matching uniforms, like samurai. They were all armed with katanas at their hips or on the back and ranged in different ages. A mix of men, women, kids, and one of them looked like an anthro dog. And there was an old man with closed eyes and a long flowing beard wrapped with black ribbon, and carried a wood staff with a large gnarled root on the top. All of them are standing in the air as if it was solid ground.
"Well, that's something new to see," Dante comments on the bizarre sight.
Kuro takes the distraction and sends a bolt of black lightning, sending Dante crashing through several trees. Sekai reacts immediately, swinging his shorter blade and releasing a glowing blade of energy which Kuro blocks. The force of the attack briefly sends him dragging along the ground before the attack is broken through. Sekai did not relent nor did he let the strangeness high above distract him. He cannot allow the Demon Lord Ashtar to be free on Earth. His larger blade slams down, blocked by the Sword of Chaos, and he chops inward with the other blade. But that was also blocked by a shield of chaotic energy that flared to life. A buff of energy shoots off Kuro's shield, launching Sekai back who manages to right himself and land on his feet. He chops, swings, and slashes, blocking the energy bullets shooting at him. Several of those energy bullets fly into the air forcing the Soul Reapers to scatter and avoid getting hit. A gunshot rings out, and strikes Kuro, stopping the storm of energy blasts as Dante walks out into the clearing, a little worse for wear but he's not dead. It'll take more to kill Dante.
"Nice attempt. Went through a building so I had worse," the cocky white-haired hunter tells Kuro.
"It does not matter. The gateway to hell will open, and Ashtar will arise and bathe the planet in eternal darkness. There is nothing you can do, Dante Sparda. You and your friend are too late to prevent his rebirth!"
Kuro then smiles grimly, positioning the blade and impales himself. His soul was absorbed through the blade, and then his blood explodes off his body and was absorbed into the very door. It then glows again as Kuro's body disintegrates into ash and the blade falls, stabbing at an angle into the ground spreading a runic field of patterns and archaic symbols.
"Ahh shit," Sekai mutters.
A powerful force of evil explodes from the demonic doorway as it creaks open.
"Well, this is going to be one hell of a party," comments Dante.
"I HAVE AWAKENED!" a dark voice spoke in a very loud baritone of power. A piercing gaze of pure white eyes gleams from the bathing darkness. The energies from the doorway were flowing like a thick miasma of fog. "THE HUMAN WORLD SHALL TREMBLE BEFORE MY POWER ONCE AGAIN! THE AGE OF ETERNAL DARKNESS HAS ARRIVED!"
Our group of Soul Reapers was in horrified awe of the oppressive spiritual pressure they were feeling. It was much, MUCH, worse than Aizen after he fused with the Hōgyoku. A loud scream of power tears the very air, as the power build-up skyrockets. Our two devil hunters stood against the power with wills of steel. They won't let some asshole try and destroy the world. And when the Demon Lord Ashtar finally emerged from the opened gates of hell, Dante and Sekai immediately attack without fear. Thus begins a battle with the fate of the world hanging in the balance...
And... there ya go. Sucks how Hell seems to have all of these smaller back doors like the Red Light District, huh?
