November 3, 2014, sees Monday Night RAW opening to a cinematic shot of Sekai Ishtal and Remilia Scarlet exiting from an elevator at tonight's arena that was hosting WWE. The couple was on one of the business floors of the arena, walking down a carpeted hallway before reaching a specific door. Twisting the handle knob, Sekai invites himself and Remilia into the room, which was apparently a conference room.
Remilia went to sit down at the largest chair at the rectangular table, as Sekai sets down on the table two very large duffle bags. Opening one up, he begins to take out various items such as a round large tin, which opened revealed an assortment of scrumptious cookies of various flavor and bakery design. For audiences watching, English script appeared briefly labeling the label on the tin's lid in the subtitles, "Urahara Shōten Holiday Cookies".
He takes out two clear whiskey cups, and then begins preparing the tea using the hot water in a red thermos container, as audience viewers are treated to another cinematic shot panning towards the arena that is the First Niagara Center, then a short cityscape view of the location of the arena: Buffalo, New York.
"This is such a lovely city, is it not?"
"Yes it is, Lady Remilia. I quite agree," answers Sekai.
The door opens again, and the scene switched back to inside the conference room, camera panning to reveal Sakuya and Gin entering the room.
"Sorry we're a bit late, guys," Gin apologized.
"Traffic got a bit dense or did you hit every red light heading to the center?" asked Sekai.
"The latter, unfortunately," Gin said, a sigh escaping him in the end.
"He was tempted to pull off a GTA bypassing traffic, driving against traffic and ignoring the lights. I told him not to do stupid shit," Sakuya informed Sekai.
Sekai barked a short laugh. "Gin, the only people who can pull that off are fictional and live in Liberty City." A blatant reference to Grand Theft Auto IV if there was ever any doubt…
"Bite me," said Gin.
"That can be arranged," Sekai responds with a semi-perverted look. Gin's response to that was flipping the bird in Sekai's direction as he sat down at the table.
Sekai digs out two more whiskey cups and fills them with the prepared tea, handing them to Gin and Sakuya. Sipping his own warmed and brewed lemon earl gray tea, he returns to looking out the windows just gazing towards the displayed cityscape of Buffalo.
"Survivor Series is in a few weeks. It's tradition before every Thanksgiving that WWE hosts this event, as well as the traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match. We can have two or more of these traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag matches. And of course we as well as the WWE Universe know of one of these matches: Team Authority versus Team Cena."
"Maa, I think it'll be interesting to see the WWE Superstars that willing join John Cena's team and duel against The Authority," said Gin, sipping his tea. "Are you going to join a side, Sekai? Atmospheres such as this were always your forte, considering long before you joined WWE, you've always gotten yourself and by extension all of us in some of your misadventures back in Japan."
A camera angle showed Sekai's back still facing the window; however there appeared to be a semi-clear reflection of his face. Sekai was smirking, as his right hand reached around to the backside, gripping the handle of the Japanese sword he affectionately calls Kurohime. A slow half-draw of the blade revealed the blackness of the sword's blade. It oddly held a polished reflection despite it being as black as soot.
"Yeah, it would be fun, wouldn't it, Gin? I, Sekai Ishtal, inserting my own brand of general chaos into an otherwise already volatile situation with an explosive destruction of that of the atomic bomb..."
SHHHINK!
The blade was swiftly docked, the sound almost echoing.
He twists on the balls of his heels, facing Gin, Sakuya, and Remilia.
"Alas, I have my own plans revolving Survivor Series. I will of course pick a side to the Cena verse Authority match, but I won't be an active competitor of it. More or less, I'll be a WWE fan, choosing who I want to see victorious in the end… or surviving, that is."
"What kind of plans, Sekai, do you have in mind?" questions Sakuya, giving him a look.
"Ah, my darling maid, that would be spoilers," he says with a drawl of suspense in his voice, a playing smile etched upon his face. You could swear his eyes almost twinkled when he said spoilers. He walks down the length of the table, before stopping on the opposite end. "However, on the last RAW before Survivor Series, I'll make an announcement that will stun the entire world, and its rippling effects felt throughout the WWE."
Sekai looks to Remilia, as music started playing from literally nowhere. His smile was infectious; gentle and easygoing. Remilia looks back at him, a warm smile of her own worn on her lips, eyes almost glittering with love and adoration for Sekai. Sakuya and Gin watch the silent exchange of looks, both wearing their own smiles. Even a blind person could see that Sekai and Remilia held feelings for one another…
"People will never forget that moment in history when the time comes…"
Then Sekai began to sing. For those watching, romaji lyrics appeared on top of viewers' TV screens, while the English translation was at the bottom. Apparently, it's a custom opening to Monday Night RAW, as he was inserting a bit of anime into tonight's festivities.
Aogeba mieru natsu no yozora ga hontou ha sabishikute…
(When you look up, the summer night sky really looks lonely…)
Kazaranai ima kono shunkan wo tebanashitakunai to negatte ita
(Undecorated now, in this moment, I don't want to let go of that hand)
Tada nando mo kurikaeshi mai utatte…
(Even so, how often it ruffles over and over, creating slow dances)
Kasanete yuku hibi ni futatabi me wo aite
(The days repeated again I opened my eyes)
Sen no negai wo yobu kisetsu ga yoru wo koete ashita e yukue o sasayaku
(Season of saying thousand wishes, through the night, whispering to reach it)
Hontou no kiseki wo shiru sonotoki made wasurenaide yo zutto…
(How wonderful, until the time I know it, I won't forget…)
And as the music to the short half minute song intro, for all RAW audience viewers, the screen fades to a white background, as animation traces the WWE logo, fills in the color, with black cursive script underneath spelling Monday Night RAW followed by a number; indicating the latest episode number for RAW. Then we fade to black, before fading into another color scene, this time inside the office of The Authority.
"Well, I will admit; David is a beautiful singer," Stephanie McMahon comments, as she turns off the TV depicting the smiling couple from Osaka, Japan.
The Director of Operations, Kane, said nothing. He only stood there, looking stoic yet evil (for a demon from the fiery pits of hell).
"Wish I could sing that well," said Triple H.
Seth Rollins was with the power couple of the WWE as well, and only scoffed. Guess he wasn't amused.
東方夢想夏郷2op 「願いを呼ぶ季節」
I don't own the song (even for an OP), of course. But it fits well...
