Gin and Riruka and the Yōkai
Ever since Gin found himself alive again, in a (at first) foreign land (and then learned the land he was in was hidden from the rest of the world), the former Shinigami did all he could to keep himself away from anything relating to his former afterlife. Yes, he was somehow alive again. He still had plenty of spirit energy that made him worthy of his former captain title of the Gotei Thirteen. He still had his Zanpakutō. He moved from his old life, having found unique friends amongst a very large and colorful cast of girls that can be trigger happy when it comes to the usage of Danmaku. He was liked amongst the very few males within the land of Gensōkyō (basically just two guys; Rinnosuke Morichika and Sekai Ishtal).
It was bound to happen one day.
And today it finally happened…
"You already have Grand Theft Auto V, Sekai. Why in the world would you buy another copy?"
"It's the next-gen version with updated graphics, more authentic and alive like the real world, heavier and authentic traffic… not to mention lots of goodies for returning players like myself."
It was the first voice that caught the attention of one twenty year old Ichigo Kurosaki.
It's been a year since the Xcution Incident, where he had reacquired his Shinigami powers. He had graduated high school, and was now in college. Yes, he still did his duties taking out dangerous Hollows that pop up when an official Shinigami was unable to respond in time. In the passing year Ichigo and Rukia have grown much closer, where the boundary of friendship seemingly was shifting to that of romance.
So, even though he was in college and his sisters still in high school, he was still welcomed at home even though he had moved out and got an apartment of his own to live at. And he was on his way home after being invited by Yuzu to have dinner together once more, when he heard the voice of a supposedly dead man.
And said supposedly dead man was across the street, silver hair in all, wearing white-bleached denim jeans, black sneakers, and a yellow t-shirt with an unzipped gray vest. A short chain dangles off the right hip, the ends hooked to the belt loops. And the supposedly dead man who is apparently not dead after all was wearing silver-framed dark blue-tint aviators.
He was not alone. Three people were with the silver-haired man.
The first person has medium-long semi-unruly black hair and black eyes. One can say his hair was ahoge-styled. He wore camouflage gray and blue teal cargo shorts, white knee socks with black sneakers, and a layered black baggy tank top over a skinny dark green-shirt.
The second person was very familiar to Ichigo; she has magenta/pink hair done up in pigtails wearing a black and white Gothic Lolita-styled dress at knee-length, black thigh-highs and knee-high white boots. She had disappeared after the Xcution Incident, never to be seen again in Karakura.
"I swear, Sekai, you're just like Yukio," complained the pinkette.
The third person was also female. She had red ribbon accessories decorating the tips of her long blonde hair. The locks curled slight, and fall in a neatly manner along the back. She wears a purple Chinese shirt that had a trigram-styled pattern print on it, a pair of dark pink-dyed jeans, and pink sneakers. She carried with her a white European-styled parasol that had red ribbon bows decorating it; it was open and elegantly positioned like a woman of nobility would carry her umbrella in the early 19th century.
"Sekai finally caved and wanted to purchase a PlayStation 4 copy of Grand Theft Auto V," said the blonde woman, "although I wonder why he had to drag us out."
The woman had a bust size that reminded Ichigo of Rangiku's… although the small perverted trait in his mind told him that Rangiku's breasts were bigger than the blonde woman across the street.
"Hey, you three were bored, so I thought why go alone when I have three good friends to drag with me to the outside world."
Gin sighed. "Well, at least we went to the supermarket to restock on tea and food."
Gin was carrying two shopping bags filled with items they bought. There was more, but Sekai placed the rest of their purchases within his subspace pocket (out of view of humans).
The four reached the bus stop just in time to get on-board.
Ichigo was in disbelief. Cellphone in hand, he glances down at the screen of a sneak picture he snapped with the phone's camera. Gin was captured and displayed on his phone display. Gin was alive? What the hell?

"Are you sure, Ichigo? I will admit this person looks eerily like him."
"I'm sure. I can never mistake hearing his voice… not since the Winter War with Aizen."
Ichigo went straight to Kisuke the moment he arrived in Karakura, informing him of someone who he saw today on his way home from the university, and then showing photographic evidence on his cellphone. It was kind of spooky to see the face of a man who supposedly died during the war, a victim of being a triple agent trying in usurping Aizen from the background.
Of course, the shot also captured the three other individuals with Gin. The one other person both men and one cat (Yoruichi) remembered from the Xcution Incident, Riruka Dokugamine. What was she doing with Gin? The other two faces were virtual unknowns to Kisuke, much to Ichigo's dismay when he asked if he had ever seen the two faces of the unknowns.
"Listen Ichigo, if Gin really has been alive all this time… well, we'd have to report his discovery."
"I know, Kisuke… it's just… did he fake his death while I was fighting Aizen and hiding all this time? Or is there something else involved here?"
Kisuke nods, both points Ichigo bringing up would raise questions amongst the Gotei Thirteen. An investigation no doubt, would be started into this discovery.
"Ichigo, Yoruichi and I will take care of reporting this. I'm pretty sure you may have something important to take care of," Kisuke tells Ichigo.
"Crap, you're right," Ichigo replies, grabbing his college book bag, "Yuzu invited me home for dinner and I'm late!"
"Just tell her you lost track of time with me, Ichigo. She'll understand," he calls out to him as he exited the shop's back room.
The opening and closing of the shop's front doors indicate he has left the building.
"Kisuke, I don't like this feeling I'm getting," Yoruichi spoke up, as the shinigami woman in feline disguise stares once more at the copied digital photo on the computer monitor.
It was one picture Ichigo snapped quickly, however on the photo's display, there was Gin looking (with those squinted eyes of his) towards the dark-haired male who was getting a glare from the pinkette. It was the blonde woman who was smiling, but it would appear as if she was staring right at you from the photo… which should be impossible… right?
"Yeah… I know what you mean, Yoruichi," Kisuke answers wearily.
This was one puzzling mystery that just got presented to them. It made Kisuke ponder how Soul Society would take it if he ever decided to let them know that Gin Ichimaru was spotted in the World of the Living...

"He is really good at this," grumbles Riruka.
It was karaoke night at the Yakumo House, and Sekai was singing the lyrics to the song キャンディパウダー (Candy Powder). He was so awesome-sounding.
"Yeah... why am I jealous all of a sudden?" Gin questions aloud.
Sekai finished the song perfectly, as he turns to the two, smirking.
"Not my fault I'm just talented," he crows with pride, a laugh escaping in the end of that sentence.
"Why are you here instead of at home with Remilia?"
"Remilia-sama knows I'm with Yukari. I told her of what I wanted to do and she allowed it. 'Sides, Sakuya can handle things on her own without me. Despite being the Head Butler-"
"The only butler," Gin cuts in.
"I'm still the kohai to Sakuya when it comes to servitude to the house of devils," Sekai finishes.
Gin Ichimaru smirked nonetheless. "Still surprised it's been close to six years since I woke up in Gensōkyō."
"Oh yeah… isn't today the day when Konpaku discovered you in the garden of Hakugyokurou (白玉楼, Tower of White Jade)?" Sekai questions Gin.
"Yes, around the same time when Riruka here bumped into Ran three years ago today," Yukari spoke up.
The pinkette blushed a bit. "Don't remind me. I never knew real yōkai existed on Earth."
It was this particular date of June 12 that Riruka Dokugamine and Gin Ichimaru began a new adventure; Gin by befriending the elf yōkai Sekai, and Riruka eventually being invited into Gensōkyō after being visited by Yukari. The trio was a unique pairing amongst Gensōkyō's populous. Sekai Ishtal, Gin Ichimaru, and Riruka Dokugamine: An elf yōkai born in the 1600s with high magical powers and a dominion of shadows and darkness magic, a former Shinigami Captain revived with a flesh and blood body retaining his spiritual levels and Zanpakutō, and a human with high spiritual levels and the power of Fullbring.
"Makes me wonder what life would have been if we all met a long time ago…"
"Well, the two of us would look like lolicons for having a much younger Riruka with us," Gin tells Sekai. "Well, you more than me; I'd have ratted you to the police."
"Pervert," Riruka whispers not-so-subtly to Sekai.
"Fuck you," the elf yōkai replies with the flip of the middle finger to Gin.
Ran pokes her head into the living room.
"Dinner's ready."
Gin stares down Sekai. "After dinner, I'm kicking your ass in a karaoke contest."
Sekai grins, making the come hither gesture with his hands. "Bring it on, bitch."
