"You have arrived. Your destination is on the right, 2289 New Castle Ave." I turned into the parking garage in front of my new apartment building. I'm here! I'm actually here. I thought to myself. I parked my new car into my assigned parking spot. Afterwards, I unloaded my baby sister out of the backseat in her carseat. I made my way over to the door and into the building. After I was inside I made my way over to my door and used my key to get inside.

I walked into my new apartment to find everything in place. I had been worried about having no furniture but came to find my entire apartment furnished. Did Mr. Destler do this? Clearly this was a mistake. The moving company must have accidentally brought over someone else's furniture. I better ask Mr. Destler tomorrow morning after arriving at the office. For now, I need to get my Bianca situated and familiarize her to her surroundings. I headed up the stairs with Bianca in my arms and walked into the bedroom that was meant for her. I walked into the bedroom to find a queen sized bed dressed in beautiful bed sheets, quality linen, and an arrangement of pillows to match. Christine gasped, the guest bedroom and its furniture were perfect for any guest. Christine proceeded to create a makeshift bassinet out of blankets and pillows in which to lay Bianca down for her nap while she explored the rest of the house. Once Biana would awake, Christine would be sure to take her to the nearest store to buy her baby sister proper furniture for her current living space.

Unbeknownst to Christine, one floor above her stood her strange but yet intriguing boss in HIS very own penthouse. Erik had just finished arriving home after a long day in the office and stood in his foyer removing his shoes before making a b-line to his couch, phone in hand. "No, Nadir. I don't believe so, although there is no use in relocating the girl now." He paused while listening to the voice on the other line. "There is no other building close enough in radius for which to house the girl that is not in the very same building as my own. Trust me, I tried to look," he said as he located the TV remote on the end table next to the armchair he was currently situated on. "Alright, I will see you here then. Good bye, Nadir."

Erik had been sitting, watching the news and decided to get up and make himself some dinner. Just before reaching the kitchen, the sound of the doorbell rang throughout the place. Erik let out a groan at the realization that he would have to be cooking for two now by the looks of it. "Nadir," he said with the utmost sarcastic 'I'm glad you're here' tone in his voice. Nadir walked in with a large smile on his face, already accustomed to his cousins' hardheaded ways. "Nice to see you too, cuz. What's for dinner?"

Even after all of the bickering back and forth between one another, Erik had finally been able to finish making dinner for the two of them. They had both decided to enjoy their dinner at the kitchen island, taking their seats on the elegant bar stools. "So, who has the pleasure of holding the new title of Personal Assistant to the very successful Erik Destler," asked Nadir with a spoonful of pasta in his mouth. Erik gave a visible cringe in the way Nadir had been chewing with his mouth open while asking his silly little questions that Erik knew for a fact, Nadir knew the answer to himself. "Her name is Christine Daae, she was greatly recommended by an old professor of mine. Professor Percival Reyer," stated Erik as he took a sip of wine. "That's it? That's all you're going to tell me," said Nadir with a very apparent look of annoyance plastered on his face. "Alright, and what do you want to know? You may as well just be a big boy about it and come right out and ask," said Erik in a voice that showed even Nadir that he was not in the mood for any nonsense. "Well, for starters. Is she hot," he asked intrigued at what his cousin had to say.

Erik sat still for a moment taking a large gulp which he hoped Nadir hadn't noticed. He wouldn't say that she was "hot"... Erik had found Christine to be a very beautiful girl. Erik was never the type to consider a woman attractive based on her personal appearance, especially knowing that he had no place to talk considering that half of his face wasn't exactly as "intact" as the average male's. Christine had beautiful wavy hair which he knew wasn't the state of her natural hair by the way it looked as though it was styled to look in that state. Nevertheless he could tell that no matter what state the girl's hair was in, she would look great regardless. Although, he would be lying if he didn't admit that he definitely noticed Christine's nice figure the first day that she had walked into his office. She had curves in all of the right places and held a beautiful figure, quite comparable to an hourglass. Oh… he had noticed all of her beauty alright. However, he was quick to shove that all aside knowing all too well that a woman as beautiful as she was would never look twice at him knowing what lay beneath his mask.

"Erik," asked Nadir as he waved a hand in front of his cousin's face in a ridiculous attempt to draw his attention back to their current conversation. Erik quickly snapped out of his thoughts and turned his attention back onto his annoyance of a cousin. "Nadir, must you always be such a pig when it comes to women? You're almost hitting thirty and you're not getting any younger. If you keep messing around with every woman in New York, you will have no wife to present to my dear Teyze and Enişte." With that Nadir shut his mouth quickly, realizing the statements of his cousin to be hurtful but completely true nonetheless.

Nadir left shortly after dinner, leaving Erik free to enjoy his favorite room in his home. Erik walked over to the grand piano sitting in the middle of the library. Quickly playing a couple of scales, he dived right into playing. Erik was so caught up into his own playing that he hardly noticed that the melodies he was playing strayed from portraying its usual melancholy feelings toward his fate and the world. Instead what protruded from the sweet instrument sounded happy, with perhaps only a hit of romance. Was our hardheaded Erik starting to feel a spark of romance for his new assistant?

I woke up to crying coming from the baby monitor on my nightstand. Reaching for the monitor, I groggily stood up trying to put my slippers on while my eyes adjusted to the bright sun rays beaming into my room through the white drapery over the top of my balcony doors. You've gotta be freaking kidding me, B! Why did you have to wake me at 4:30 in the morning?! I thought to myself, as I made my way across the hall to my crying sister.

I walked into the room to find a squirming Bianca in her crib with a look of discomfort plastered on her little face. I knew Biacna well enough to recognize that face anywhere, B needed her diaper changed. Still crying, I scooped her up into my arms and placed her on the baby changer I purchased last night. It certainly isn't the best but it will have to do for now. After changing Bianca, I headed straight for the kitchen to warm up a bottle and grab a Gerber to give Bianca for breakfast. I sat her down on the highchair that I had also bought last night and made sure to test the milk on my skin before handing it to her. Taking the cap off of the Gerber I stuck a little baby spoon into the tiny jar. "Look mamita, apples and bananas! Your favorite… look, sissy likes it too," I said as I fake swallowed a spoonful of the stuff. I looked up to find Bianca looking at me and if looks could speak I just know hers would be saying, "If it's so good, why don't YOU eat it." I laughed to myself as I squeezed her chubby cheeks and talked her into eating her breakfast.

Once I got Bianca all cleaned up, I brought her up to my room and placed her in the little bouncer in my room to keep her busy while I got dressed for work. I took a quick shower and headed into my closet to find an outfit for the day. I decided to go with a white tight fitted long sleeve top, a beige knee-length skirt, and nude pointy pumps. I quickly looked into the mirror, this skirt and white shirt combo was very form fitting on me. Turning in a 360, I quickly noticed just how much this outfit accentuated the somewhat voluptuous Latina form I had with no doubt inherited from my mother. My figure was a curse as much as it was a blessing. I had men and women either react in a positive or negative way towards me because of my figure, something that I couldn't exactly control.

Bianca's whimpering snapped me out of my deep thoughts. Walking over to her and scooping her up, I quickly made my exit towards the door. I gathered all of Bianca's things and headed to my car. After reaching my car, I bent down to pick up the carseat in which Bianca was currently wide awake in and secured it in the backseat of my car. Fastening her seatbelt, I quickly shut the door and made it over to my seat. I quickly connected my phone to the car and headed for Brad's house. "Hey, Siri," I said as I drove out of the garage. "Call Big Daddy Brad." Calling: Big Daddy Brad. I giggled at the contact name my big brother decided to give himself after I heard a pick up on the other line. "Hello," said Brad in a state which was quite easy to tell that he had just woken up. "Hey, Brad! I'm on my way to your house with B. I'll be there in 5 minutes," I said as I headed straight to his house. "Alright, CrissyPoo. Lemme know when you get here."

I was driving about 7 miles over the speed limit in an attempt to get to work as quickly as possible. By the time I had gotten back into my car after handing Bianca off to Brad, I quickly noticed that it was 7:45 and that I only had 15 minutes to get to work! I was growing nearer and nearer to Destler LLC. Quickly noticing that it was 7:50 I decided to speed things up just a little more, passing a yellow light.

I ended up arriving at the parking garage at around 7:57 PM. I quickly drove over to my assigned parking stall, where I noticed Mr. Destler's car was already stationed. I quickly got out of my car, making sure to take all of my essentials with me. Running into the building, and quickly getting into the elevator, I ended up getting to my desk at exactly 8:00 AM. I quickly took my trench coat off and draped it over my desk chair. I had just taken a seat when the phone on my desk started ringing. I quickly shuffled over to pick up the phone. "Destler LLC, this is Christine Daae speaking. How may I direct your call," I said for the first time since I've been on my own. "Ms. Daae, this is Mr. Deslter. I would like to speak with you in my office." I had a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. Am I in trouble? Did he notice me walking in late? Oh, god! How would I even be able to match up with a different internship at this point? "Ms. Daae? Are you there?" I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and answered, "Yes, I am still here. I am on my way, sir." I hung up the phone and made my way over to Mr. Destler's office without a clue on what was in store for me or my future.
