Let's Enjoy Some Toradora!
The incident involving Ichigo and Sekai wasn't properly resolved with Konoha. Sunagakure was attacked before any interrogations could undergo with Sekai, and because some Konoha-nins were visiting Suna when the "Fight Above The Village" incident happened, Ichigo and Sekai immediately left the village, Ichigo using a Garganta to cut the travel by seconds. Sekai had followed through safely after the Substitute Shinigami. Gaara was kidnapped by an undead ninja army (that Ichigo and Sekai knew felt wrong by first glance and sensing of their odd flux of spirit energy), but Ichigo went out into the desert after destroying the invading enemies within the village while Sekai remained to take out any remaining enemy forces in hiding. Gaara was rescued, along with another captive, a man named Kankuro.
When Konoha sent Naruto and a few other Jōnin shinobi to Suna, with Sai using his ink jutsu to get them to the desert village in mere hours, Ichigo returned to the desert and returned later that night with a disguised Shukaku, and gave the raccoon dog to Gaara when he recovered. And the shinobi learned that the one-tailed bijū was in fact the small raccoon dog Gaara now held (in a humorous manner) as a pet.
With the threat of this non-shinobi as the ninja were soon calling them being a bigger threat than first appeared (if the unknown enemy was brazen to attack a hidden ninja village), there was to be some Kage Summit held in a few weeks in the Land of Iron. With all of this chaos going on, the supposed interrogation of Ishtal Sekai never happened, but the elf yōkai knew he shouldn't rest until they finally decide to drag him into a cliché box room with single chair and half-faulty light bulb hanging above.
Right now, back in Konoha after those events, Sandy and Chen were on one couch with Yuzu and Karin, while on the recliner was Ichigo, and Kon was perched on his shoulder. On the secondary couch were Sekai and a visiting Yakumo Yukari and Sekai's mistress, Remilia. Full name Remilia Scarlet (the first and last names reversed in Japanese naming); she was a four hundred years old vampire yōkai, appearing to be the physical age of a young girl of thirteen or fourteen.
She has pale bluish-violet hair in a long length reaching to the waist, and had an unusual shade of ruby-colored eyes. She is clad in a knee-high pinkish red dress with short cut-off sleeves that were puffy and round around the shoulder area with white frills lining the hem of the dress and sleeves. It bloomed out from around the waist area, but it appeared to be a bit form-fitting around the upper torso area. A necklace with an intricate design hung from a sterling silver chain. She wears white satin socks and red shoes, and on top of her head she wears a pale pink mob cap with a ribbon wrapped around it. From her back, she had vampire bat wings coming out through her outfit.
On the TV was one of Sekai's favorite romance comedy anime of all time: Toradora.
It's a great anime and one should invest some time to watch from start to finish.
"Sekai?"
"Yes, what is it Ichigo?"
"It's been a week since the attack on Suna by the false shinobi, and our little duel we had. You do know that sooner or later, they'll try and drag you into T&I. And if they find out we have guests from our world, they'll get even more paranoid."
Sekai smiled, as he sat in-between Yukari and his mistress Remilia-sama.
"Well, if my master wanted to visit me today, who am I to deny her visitation rights? Ichigo, the ninja wouldn't be able to harm my lovely master if they attack her first."
And the vampire smiles with near sadistic glee at her butler's praise.
Ichigo never felt more afraid than ever, knowing that there were two very powerful yōkai in Konoha, not counting the two bijū stuck in their current small forms. He knew that Sekai was a strong fighter. His brief encounter/meeting with Yukari showed him that there were always those stronger than even him. And today was his first time meeting the young lady named Remilia that Sekai often cherished and spoke of with adoration and even love.
"Yukari did bring over lunch from that restaurant that I love to go to whenever I'm in Tokyo. Yuzu didn't have to cook today. And we got enough for leftovers tonight."
And here they all are, being lazy in the living room, and watching all the episodes of Toradora via Sekai's PlayStation 3 (currently on episode 6) after enjoying said take-out Yukari brought over when she popped in to say hello with Remilia behind the Gap Yōkai.
"It's been about a month or so since Sekai left Gensōkyō and I was missing my lovely butler," Remilia informs the human with Shinigami powers.
Sekai's right hand reaches over and gingery grabs hold of his master's left hand. The fingers pry and force through, entwining with hers in a loving gesture. And Remilia tightly squeezes back, her manicured fingernails lightly scratching and pressing against the skin of the digits.
"It's this kind of interaction that everyone in Gensōkyō believe you two are truly in love with each other," said Yukari, watching this cute exchange of love gestures between elf and vampire.
"I think it's very cute," said Yuzu, smiling brightly at the affection between the two yōkai.
Ichigo resisted the urge to face palm. Sekai and Remilia were real living breathing yōkai (one an elf and the other an actual vampire), and Yuzu found their affections for one another a cute scene to watch.
"They weren't always like that before," Yukari spoke up, a smile crossing her lips. "When they first met, they were virtual strangers, girls."
"How did they meet?" Karin questions Yukari.
She grins. "When they first met, they tried to murder one another."
The girls' eyes widen a bit hearing this. Ichigo stared, his facial expressions not changing. Sekai and Remilia blush a bit in embarrassment.
"Sekai told us the story of how he met Remilia in the old countryside of Europe, near the Transylvanian mountains. She attacked him first, and he retaliated. And they destroyed a small area of the countryside and a portion of the forest."
"Yukari, that's enough. Remi and I met, we fought, and years later after the second World War and the Cold War that followed, I was led to her home and I became her butler."
"But before all that happened, when the two failed to kill each other after their final attacks, they had rough sex in the middle of their destruction-wrought field," Yukari interjected.
Yuzu, Karin, and Ichigo blushed vividly.
And Yukari gets a light cuff over the back of the head by an equally red-faced elf yōkai.
"Shut up, Yukari," the elf tells his friend.
She fakes pouting over the Leroy Jethro Gibbs over-the-head smack.
"Damn," said Kon.
"Wait... you two tried to kill each other, and in the end of your fight, you both did it?" questions Karin, staring with shock in her eyes and mouth slightly agape.
"Yeah... It was also a combination of adrenaline, hormones, and the fact both of us haven't scratched our personal itches in a long while," Remilia informed the three humans. She was not blushing as badly like Sekai was, but her cheeks were still painted with a light red hue.
She did not like to have her sex life discussed so openly.
Yukari had the thought-ahead to pause the anime with the PS3 remote device. "Speaking of which, Ichigo-kun, what do the ninjas of the village think when they learn you and your sisters have two of these bijū under the roof?"
"I haven't heard much. But frankly, they're also Naruto's responsibility," Ichigo comments on the status of Isobu and Matatabi.
"But sooner or later Lady Hokage will drag you and uncle Sekai into her office and force details from you both," Yuzu reminded the two men.
"When that time comes, we'll take care of it. The worst they can do is force torture via interrogation. But I'll fight back if they do so."
"But we also need them, Sekai. Naruto is our cousin and I don't want to destroy any familiar relations over paranoia," Ichigo told the elf.
"Yeah, I know. And we still got our problems back in Karakura. Has Lord Death visited you guys lately?"
"Only a week ago when I was at the hospital with Sakura," said Karin. "I think she wanted to freak out when I casually mentioned Honored Ancestor Shinigami-sama as if he was part of the family, but didn't want to look crazy in public."
"Hm, maybe he should take a page out of Soul Eater and wear a cartoonish black disguise complete with cartoon skull mask, large foam hands, and speak in a cheery voice when revealing himself to the humans."
Sekai casually ignores the looks from the Kurosaki siblings.
"Can we just enjoy watching Toradora until our peace gets interrupted by the outside world?" Kon speaks up, wanting to continue watching the anime.
The remote flies into Sekai's free hand and he hits the play button.
"Now that's a good idea. Let's continue watching the anime until Konoha decides to knock upon the door."
The remote is set down on the table and Remilia snuggles up next to her butler, and the elf in turn slips his arms around her waist and holds her close. Yukari reaches into a gap and takes out some freshly brewed black tea, and she takes a sip after pouring herself a glass. The rest of the gathered company settle back into a comfortable laziness and continue watching the rest of episode six of Toradora.
Two hours would pass when Naruto would show up, and having been given an extra key to the Kurosaki home, would invite himself in. He would be quiet seeing the scene before him entering the living room. Yeah. He'd freak out first seeing Remilia's vampire wings, then freak out even more to the point of drawing a kunai seeing Yukari open a gap and take out more ice to refill her glass of half-filled tea.
