Prologue
I look around. I see people laughing, talking loudly trying to be heard; I see them kissing, hugging; I see people sitting on the floor staring at their phone or a book; they have coffee in their hands, they share food, they share notes, they share ambitions. They seem happy, trying to fulfill goals and exceed expectations, whether it's their own, their family's or society's. We were once happy within these walls, too.
I look around and I don't see you. I look around and I'm all alone.
