With their superhero lives all but forgotten, our young superheroes grow up and leave the claws and spots behind. But when La Papillon returns after nearly seven years, Tikki and Plagg are called into action as Chat Noir and Ladybug return to the streets of Paris. Will an older pair of heroes be able to balance real life with the struggles of battling the akuma?

27. An Update

First of all, for all of those who are worried - I will be finishing this story. I have it all planned out, and while I can't promise it will be as timely as before, I hope it won't be another 4 years before I get back to it. I am, as they say, back on the horse.

Also, please know that in the interim between the last update and this update I have: moved five times, gotten engaged and gotten married and survived my first year (and second) of marriage, changed jobs six times, been transitioned to WFH for "two weeks" (two years), survived an earthquake or two, been in severe mental health crisis as a result of COVID isolation and loss of loved ones, not to mention the state of the world, lost access to medications that keep me mentally stable, AND developed an addiction to the popular social media platform TikTok. Give a girl a break.

So even though it's not a Friday, here's the update I know at least one person has been waiting for.
