Musical Love Chapter 9: Juices and Sleepovers, a percy jackson and the olympians fanfic

Okay. Hey, guys! I've been really busy and all, because of a festival called Varalakshmi Vratham today and the good news is, I've got three days off including today. Two days because of Varalakshmi Vratham and Bakrid and a Sunday. I'm so happy to be off online classes for three whole days! I could go back to (re)reading HOO again :p. Most of the chapters are going to be of Percy's or Annabeth's POV.

We clapped after the girls finished and I was shocked, dumbfounded, flabbergasted, or is it flabbergastered? This is the problem with real big nouns, or is it adverbs? I hate grammar, why couldn't they just put it all in one big group and say; these are 'words'? Sorry ADHD. Off-topic, brain.

Anyways, you must be thinking why I was so shocked and using big words, 'cause that's Annabeth's job? Because I didn't expect them to get a 38. That's insane! The judges don't give those many points just like that. We need to rock the stage or else we have no hope, whatsoever. I was recording the performance in the camera when they walked down the stage whooping and shrieking.

"Beat that Seaweed Brain," Annabeth said and stuck out her tongue. I needed a name and fast.

"Real mature.. uh...Wise Girl." I said. She rolled her eyes and laughed.

"You know that's more like a compliment?" She said still cracking up.

"Shut up, it sounded better in my head," I muttered and rubbed the back of my neck. She took, no grabbed, the camera from my hands, and started talking to it.

"That's our song…." I didn't hear the rest of what she was saying because Mr. McLean announced it was our time to sing. We climbed on to the stage and the perfect song came into my head, I whispered to the others and they nodded and started playing the song.

(Percy, Jason, Leo, Together)

We ended and everyone in the room clapped and Annabeth was holding the camera towards us. The scores were:

Artemis-10, Apollo- 9, Aphrodite-9, Tristan- 10

Total score- 38

A tie for the first round. I think Aphrodite's reason was that we weren't dressed nicely. But I didn't expect to get a 10 from Artemis. We walked down the stage whooping. I smirked at Annabeth who rolled her eyes and said, "You didn't beat us Seaweed Brain. It's a tie." She emphasized on the tie and then she started chuckling. This was the Annabeth I knew. Always laughing and smiling. It feels like a long time ago.

For leaving her alone that day. Tell her.

And I knew I had to."That was an entertaining round, now twenty minutes break before the next round." Apollo said and sat down to talk with the judges.

I looked for her and found her sitting alone in a bean bag. I went to the nearest table and brought to cups of juice and walked towards her.

Annabeth:

Let me say the truth, they were good. It was a tie. At least we're lucky it was a tie. I sat down on the bean bags once again and turned off the camera. The girls were talking with the boys. But Cally seemed like she would make a run for it because Leo was bothering her. I laughed to myself and sank into the bean bag with the camera in one hand, looking around. I couldn't find Percy, which was odd, I saw him just there hear Jason and now he vanished.

"Looking for someone?" A familiar voice said from behind me. I lifted my head up to see a raven-haired, green-eyed boy holding two cups in each hand and handed me one.

"No one," I said eyeing the cups suspiciously. "I didn't add anything in there. It's just juice." He said chuckling and sitting in the bag beside me. I took a sip and looked at the others.

"They're so happy aren't they?" I said looking at them laughing at something. After an uncomfortable silence, he spoke up.

"Hey, Annabeth?" He said and looked at me.

"Hmmm?" I said drinking the juice.

"I'm sorry about not talking to you, I mean, I really wanted to but there were some family issues after you know…" He said rubbing the back of his neck. I turned my head and looked at him. I was angry, that he decided to say sorry after 5 years. 5 freaking years!

"I can't forgive you easily, Percy. You left me and did not talk to me when I needed you. We used to do everything together and just like that you vanished and do you think that was okay? Because it isn't. I went through a whole year apologizing to you even though I didn't do anything and you just ignored me. I had hope that you'd come back to me and hug me and say sorry but you didn't and that was the worst part." I finished. I wanted to say that to him ever since he stopped talking to me. Ever since that day I built up a wall around me. Promising myself I would never get hurt like that again.

"I know, you have the right to be furious with me and you can hit me if you want because I deserve it. I was wondering maybe we could start over being friends." He said and smiled but in his eyes, there was a hint of sadness and guilt and something else I couldn't put a finger on. I could give him a chance.

"That's good. But only friends." I smiled and we started talking about how we used to ridiculous things when we were young and before no time we were laughing. After a few minutes, Apollo announced, "Now let's start with the second and final round, R&B genre. "Good luck." He said as we stood up. I smiled and tucked a loose hair behind my hair and walked to the others. We climbed the stage and started our song. The song I wrote about when Percy left me alone that day.

The song ended and there was a bigger round of applause than before. I was so happy. My eyes glanced at Percy, who looked at me and gave a lopsided smile. I smiled back.

Total score: 79/80

We squealed so hard and hugged each other. We've got a 79! That's not easy and if they have of win they need to get an 80, which is even harder. We've never ever got a 79 before. I was just so happy.

"Now for the boys," Apollo said as we climbed down the stage still squealing.

Percy handed me the camera and winked and went up the stage and they started playing their song.

That meant we won. We won! They walked down the stage and clapped for us. I was too busy squealing to notice anyone. The girls were jumping up and down hugging each other. We won the BOB that meant we've got The Best Band of The Year. Yes! We've got it only once. The boys got it thrice. Next year we'll catch up with them. We were about to leave when Apollo and Artemis stopped us.

"So, we are having a tight budget and we want you two bands to combine to make three albums and until then…." Apollo said. I don't like where this is going. And judging by the others' faces they don't either.

"We've wanted you guys to live together in a mansion we bought downtown. It has a studio and everything. I want you all to move in by the end of the week. And yes, we've talked to your parents, they approved. We both would be staying with you as guardians." Artemis finished.

"Okay…" I said and everyone looked at me. "When should we start packing then?" I asked. They were still looking at me.

"Whenever you're free, oh and I've got some errands to run so boys, you're staying here. I've talked to Aphrodite she said she has some spare clothes and that it'd be okay for you to stay for the night." He said and they walked off leaving us.

"Why does your mom have boys' clothes?" I asked Piper.

"I don't know, 'cause she's crazy?" She said shrugging. I nodded while the rest broke into laughter.

A sleepover with the guys, how worse could the day get?
