Annabeth:
Our managers wanted us to make an entrance in the mall so we piled into the limo. Then we arrived at the mall. We walked with the boys casually and before we knew it there were thousands of teenagers crowded around us yelling for autographs and such. Someone was asking for an autograph on their butt.
Argus and Coach Hedge managed to keep them away. We walked to McDonald's and sat down and just ordered milkshakes. We just had our lunch and no one seemed hungry except, Percy and Leo. Percy was sitting beside me eating a burger.
"You never stop eating do you?" I asked.
"What? I'm hungry." He replied and finished off his burger. He made a bad attempt to wipe his mouth but there was still ketchup on the corner of his mouth.
"You have a little…" I said and took a tissue paper and wiped it off.
"There," I said and made it into a ball and threw it in a bin a few feet away.
"Score!" Leo yelled. "And Vicky wins the game for The Demigods. Better luck next time for The Half-Bloods." He continued. I rolled my eyes and got up to go to the washroom. I bumped into a guy with blonde hair and a scar running down his face and blue eyes. I immediately recognized him.
"Luke!" I said. He was the youngest director in Hollywood and is a friend of mine, how we met was kind of funny actually.
"An- Vicky! It's been a long time." He replied and hugged me. I smiled and hugged back. He was one of the few celebs who knows our real identities.
"Come on. I'll show you the others." I said and tugged him towards our table.
"Girls. Look who's here." I said completely forgetting about the boys. They lifted their heads from their phones and their faces widened with surprise. They stood up and hugged him one by one.
"Luke! Long time no see." Thalia said while she was hugging him. Thalia and Luke were friends when they were young.
"Nice to see you too Thalia." He said. The guys looked moody for some reason and I coughed and introduced them to Luke.
"And Luke you know The Half-Bloods," I said pointing to them.
"Of course I do. Hi guys." He said and gave them high-fives.
"What are you doing in New York?" I asked and he replied that he had a new movie project coming. After a while of talking and laughing and getting glares from the boys, he left saying he needed to go. He gave me his number and winked and went off. I giggled. Why did I giggle? I don't know. I never giggle. As soon as he left, Juniper came and told us we needed to go shopping for some reason. We left saying bye to the guys.
Percy:
Okay. I'll tell you the truth. My blood boiled when I saw Luke with Annabeth. I don't know why so don't ask me. The girls left saying they needed to go shopping. I walked to the nearest arcade and I'm lost right now. I can't see the guys anywhere and they seemed to have disappeared. I was waiting to play Pac-man, but the occupant seemed familiar. I tapped her shoulder and she turned.
"Oh. Hi Percy." She said. She had red hair and was wearing jeans stained with paint. She was the girl who assaulted me on the first day.
"No. I'm sorry. Don't assault me. I'm taken. Annabeth!" I squeaked forgetting she wasn't there. The girl laughed, it was a wonderful laugh like the summer breeze, and I felt a fluttering in my stomach. I haven't felt that way since, well, forever. Was she the same person?
"I'm sorry about the first day. It was a dare. I had to do that. And I don't like hanging around with those girls, no choice though." She said smiling and returned playing the game.
"You look different," I replied. Her face turned into a frown. What a dumb question. I need to smack myself. "I mean a good different, not bad," I said quickly and she laughed.
"That's okay. During school, I have to be friends with the popular clique because my dad tells me to. They're all his client's daughters so I kinda had too. But I'm sorry. You and Annabeth are both so cute!" She squealed.
"Annabeth is a friend actually. Not my girlfriend. I was trying to, you know, stop you from assaulting me. You didn't tell me your name." I said.
"I thought so, I'm Rachel Elizabeth Dare and you are Percy Jackson." She said still playing. The name Dare ringed a bell. Then we started talking about different things, roamed around the arcade. We played against each other in a dance game and she won. I learned she liked to paint which was obvious because of the paint on the jeans. I got a call from Jason asking me to meet them near the exit.
"I need to go," I told her.
"Yeah. I had fun, Percy. Sorry about the first day again." She said.
"It's okay. It was a Dare." I smiled at my own joke. She blinked and smiled too.
"Bye." She said.
I walked down to the exit and sure enough, the girls and guys were there near the limo. I sat inside with them and we were back in our mansion. Dare. It sounded familiar. That's it! Dare Enterprises, she is the daughter of Carlos Dare, the second-best businessman in the country. First being Atlas Titan. Annabeth was about to open the door when the door clicked and it opened by itself. We stood to see a smiling Artemis opening the door.
"Come on in." She said.
It was evening and the sun was setting. I slopped onto my bed. I was so tired but my brain wasn't. I was thinking about the way Annabeth giggled near Luke and I realized she never giggles. Thinking about Luke and Annabeth made my blood boil again. But then my thoughts shifted to Rachel. She was very cute, in a crazy artist kind of way. I think we'd be good friends… or maybe even more?
Annabeth:
I thought fencing was hard. Shopping is way harder. Usually, I shop alone, as Annabeth. But here I'm Vicky. We went into the shop and the guards maintained the crowd but still, there were some photographers taking photos. We were walking towards all the sections and Piper and Hazel grabbed everything they saw. I took my time slowly picking out dresses, it's not like Kronos is going to speed up time, is he?
We arrived in the beach apparel section and Piper stopped at a halt.
"We need to buy some swimsuits." She announced.
"WHY?" Thalia asked rather harshly. I can't blame her. We've been shopping for an hour non-stop.
"You can never know. Come on." She said and used charm speak on us. It's kind of like, she can ask anyone to do anything for her with a smile.
"Ugh!" We groaned except Hazel who looked in a mix of happy and annoyed.
"The last one to find their swimsuit is a rotten egg and only two-pieces." She announced and we grudgingly started looking for something that looks nice.
Thalia found a white and black tankini with a high waist. She seemed satisfied with that and so did Piper. Calypso found a green leaf patterned two-piece. Hazel found amber one-piece that was normal in the front and got complicated with little strings forming a pattern at the back. Piper found a floral pattern two-piece with a blue background. I was the only one left.
"I can't find anything for you!" Piper cried as she looked in every rack. I was roaming around when one caught my eye. A girl was reaching for it and before she took it I grabbed it from the rail and gave her an apologetic look which I got back with a shrug.
It was a grey two-piece with a ruffled top and was like off-shoulder. I liked it and I tried it on.
"Wow. That looks really hot and cute on you, Vicky." Piper exclaimed. "Per- All the boys would be looking at you and you only." She said. I blushed and quickly changed into my jeans.
"That's great," I muttered and we paid for our stuff and came out. We found the boys on the third floor staring at a shop that sold skateboards.
"Guys come on. Where's Percy?" Piper asked and dragged them towards the exit.
"I'll call him." Jason offered. After that, Percy came to the limo with a goofy smile on his face. We arrived at the mansion and now I'm in my room reading a book.
Time skip to morning (Brought to you by *drumroll* Kronos)
Annabeth:
I fell asleep in my underwear because it was hot at night and however much I increased the AC it was still hot. It was morning and I was half-asleep and half-awake. I was tired of all that packing and shopping. I heard numerous footsteps coming towards my room and Leo's voice singing, "Oh Annabeth!" I was pretty sure I locked my room so whoever they were wouldn't be able to come in. That thought was a mistake.
The door swung open revealing Percy, Leo, and Jason. I screamed and gathered my sheets towards my body. I found one pillow and threw it at them.
"Woah! Woman, what happened to you?" Leo asked dodging the pillow.
"UH, UH, UH. I'M HALF-NAKED. GET OUT!" I yelled at the top of my voice.
"Uh… Coming Caly!" Leo yelled and ran. Either my ears are not working like they are supposed to or these guys are crazy. Probably the latter.
"Coming Leo's Caly! Jason ran out at is heels. If I wasn't half-naked, I would have kicked those guys.
"Well, Percy? What are you waiting for? GET OUT!" I yelled at Percy who looked embarrassed.
"Um, I think I left some… ovens in my... uh… cookie!" He said and ran off. I slowly got up locked the door and went back to sleep again. Mental note to self: Next time double-check if you locked your doors or not.
If you live with guys, I think this is what happens. Ugh! I didn't sign up for this.
