Calypso:

I walked down, trying to find my way back to my room in the mansion, and let me just say I was kinda lost. I couldn't really get used to this big mansion, even if it was my father's. At my father's mansion, I usually don't leave my room because it has everything I need. But here, there are a dozen people living together so we need to fend for things. Not that I'm complaining because I never really liked the confines of my room.

It was so big I usually called it Ogygia because, you know, the original Calypso was trapped there. It's funny how all of our parents' names are based on Greek mythology.

I heard some talking and laughter and I realized it was the boys. I don't know why I did it but I hid behind a potted plant, believe me when I say this mansion has a lot of potted plants. They walked passed me –the potted plant– and walked down the corridor. The one I walked in from.

Only Leo lingered a little bit longer. His gaze was scrutinizing but then he turned and shrugged and caught up with the other boys. He was handsome in a scrawny, Latino elf way. Wait. WHAT? Handsome? What in the Hades was happening to me?

So this is where they went, I thought. I got up from my weird posture and walked down the path the boys came from. I stopped after a while because there was nothing but a wall. A dead end. What were they doing here?

I inspected the wall for a while but I found nothing. I'm pretty sure I would have heard them if they were doing anything here, whatever it was. It seemed as if they appeared from thin air. I felt the need to tell the girls about this new development.

I managed to find Piper's phone through GPS and I walked towards her, following the map.

Annabeth:

I paced the room. I was in the basement/studio/whatever. I had called Art, telling her to drag her twin down here because this was an emergency. She said she'd be right there and I waited. I'd told Percy to meet me down here too. So where was he?

Art arrived with a complaining Apollo trailing behind. He was mumbling that he had a date and things. I ignored his comments and gestured them to sit down. My phone buzzed. Hoping it was Percy, I fished it out of my pocket. I left the twins arguing. It was Piper.

Where r u?

I'm having a meeting with Art and Apollo. See u later..

But what about gurls' night? :(

I cursed remembering about our plans.

I'll be there k?

kk.. but you better have an explanation

I do.. love u… Bye...

Love u too…

I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket. I walked back into the room, which was unusually quiet. That wasn't a good sign. As soon as I entered, I knew the cause. Percy.

The twins looked between us trying to figure out the problem.

"If you guys are having couple fights, I'm of no help," Apollo said finally.

"It's serious Apollo," I glared at Percy who looked torn between amused and frightened. I turned my head back to the twins and started narrating what happened. I showed them the news video too.

"Jackson. I ask one thing and you mess up?" Apollo practically screamed. Percy opened his mouth but Art beat him.

"Maybe we should let Percy and Rachel be a couple and break these two up." Art said gesturing us two.

"I had the same idea but-" I started before Apollo interrupted.

"But Percy and Rachel have had a lot of hate thrown at them, right?" he said pointing to his phone. There were comments.

PrincessAndromedaII: Really? It's been only TWO MONTHS. Did Percy really have to cheat on her?

Marker101: Percy is awful…

And the rest of the comments went on and on and on about how stupid Percy is. But well, he is.

"Ouch," Percy commented.

"Ouch indeed. You two have to break up now. Do whatever, just break up." Apollo said rubbing his temples.

"But-" I started.

"No buts. Break up and come back to me later." He said waving his hand. Art stood there, a stern look plastered on her face.

"Yes sir," I said already walking back up to the living room, Percy following suit. I didn't say anything to him. I needed to hear myself think. A dozen thoughts were running around in my head and I couldn't grasp onto any one of them.

"Talk. Please say something. It's scarier when you stop talking." Percy said and I realized I was glaring at him.

"I don't have anything to say." I snapped, suddenly feeling angry at him so I crossed my arms and sat on the sofa. He walked towards me and sat beside me. I shuddered. This was the closest we sat since my wonderful realization.

"But I do." He said. I turned away. I couldn't risk looking at him.

"Annabeth what's the matter? Why are you- like this?" He asked. I felt his gaze on me. I didn't look at him still.

"You're my best friend right now. What happened?" He urged. I lost it then.

"Your best friend? Right. You left me for Rachel. You replaced me with her! Do you even know how I feel right now?" I yelled, finally looking at him. He looked determined.

"What? Is that your problem? Rachel is my girlfriend! I have the right to be with her! If you have a problem then maybe we should stop being friends!" He yelled back. My eyes widened, shocked that he'd even think of suggesting that.

"Right. Maybe we should! I don't care anymore! Go and be with your girlfriend and forget about your best friend! Doesn't this always happen to me? Five years ago who did you leave me for?!" I shot back.

"Annabeth, I didn't mean it like that. I'm sorry-" He started.

"Sorry? Sorry? I've forgiven you once and I'm not going to make the mistake of doing it again!" I interrupted.

"Annabeth, it was a mistake. You don't know why I left you! It was to keep you safe, okay?" He said in a calm voice. My blood boiled. How could he be calm when I was burning here?

"How were you planning to keep me safe? By abandoning me when I needed you? I don't need you anymore! I'm not the same girl! Just get away from me!" I yelled.

He looked hurt. I didn't care. He needed to know how hurt I was then. He deserved it.

"Annabeth-" He started. His eyes were brimming with tears. Mine were too, I realized. I willed them to stay back but they fell, streaking trails onto my cheeks.

"Don't! No! I don't want to hear your excuse at all! I don't think I can get hurt by you again!" I said and turned to move. I felt a tug on my hand. I turned towards him.

"Why?" He asked. I didn't know what got into me but I crashed my lips to his. He didn't kiss me back. I pulled away and smiled smugly. He didn't know anything.

"That's why." I said softly and turned. I knew his gaze was on me as I walked up and back into my room. I sat on my bed. I remembered our first kiss. It was a week after that Percy stopped talking to me.

*Flashback*

It was Annabeth and Percy's last Christmas together. They walked down the beautiful row of houses. They were adorned with Christmas lights, the houses not them. Carols were playing and Annabeth could hear them from a nearby shop. Annabeth's mother shooed her out because she needed to decorate their house. Annabeth went to visit Percy and he decided to go to the park.

"Let's dance," Annabeth said suddenly.

"What?" Percy asked. They were 11 years old then.

"Let's dance." She repeated.

"I heard you the first time, Wise Girl." He said. "Here?"

"What's the problem?" She said. She took his hands and placed one around her waist. She took his other hand and they started swaying in front of the shop. The slow carol was playing and the ringing of the bell of the customers going in and out was rhythmic.

Percy looked at her. She was smiling. He never really took the time to look at her, really look at her. She had beautiful blonde curls. There were freckles scattered on her nose. Her gray eyes were so stunning. He stared at her.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" She asked, her smile disappearing. He shook his head no. There was a small crowd of customers gathered around them now, but they didn't notice. They danced.

Annabeth put her head on his shoulder tentatively. Percy tried his best not to trip. Then after a few minutes, she lifted her head. The music stopped. There was a wave of 'awes' that spread through the crowd.

Annabeth suddenly looked up. She widened her eyes. A plant was dangling from the shop's front shade tent. Mistletoe.

"Seaweed brain that's- that's mistletoe." She said pointing above.

"So?" He asked.

"So we need to kiss or its bad luck." She said.

"Shouldn't we then?" He asked. She averted her gaze from the mistletoe and looked at him.

"We should." She said and leaned in. Their lips met and the whole world seemed to burst into fireworks around them. Butterflies were fluttering in both of their bellies. They leaned away and they smiled.

Percy felt confused. Annabeth undoubtedly felt the same way.

The crowd around them cheered and they blushed. Annabeth latched her hand into his and pulled him out of the crowd.

They immediately jumped apart, realizing how close they were. That was the last day for five years they were that close.

*Flashback ends*

Percy:

I can tell you what was going on.

Only problem: I don't know what the heck was going on.

Did Annabeth just kiss me? And I didn't kiss her back?

That kiss spurred something I had hidden deep inside me. My chest tightened thinking how much I hurt her by going out with Rachel. I shook whatever those feelings were and started to think.

We fought. That hadn't happened since five years ago.

I was also totally confused. I didn't know who to talk to.

Suddenly a light flickered on in my mind.

Mom.

A/N So…..that happened. Ahhh... young love... isn't it wonderful?

Well, I've been writing this for three days straight and phew this is a helluva long chapter. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or just wanna talk. Review/Follow/Favorite.
